Mazinkaiser smirks as he turns towards Solranous. "Yes. Been waiting for this for a long time..." he mutters. Sparks shoot out from the chest of Mazinkaiser as a handle is produced. Mazinkaiser grabs onto the handle and ribs a blade from his chest. "FINAL...KAISAAA...BLADE!!!"
He swings to the sword in front of himself, steam coming from the sword. Bolts of green electricity jump all around the sword, the Genesic energy pulsing though Mazinkaiser's body. "I'll let you give the first hit my friend." Mazinkaiser says to his sparing partner. "Lets see what you can do against my new power!"

Shiryu looked to Kisara after Sol had explained the revised schedule.
"Well I don't think that Mercurio will be moving much for a bit since she needs some sleep after all that happened. So it looks like you get some one on one face time with me instead. Now I'll let you explain where we're going with this and wait for you to initiate this", he said readying himself for her assault. He wasn't sure how well he might perform in his new body since it still felt a little alien to him.
He clapped his hands together causing his arm blades to turn into the dark purple energy he often displayed. Once they completely turned the shape took on that of his original sword and became solid again. He took the sword in his right hand and held it ready at his side.
"Now begin when you're ready", he stated calmly.

"This should be interesting" Solranous said, as he Flash Stepped to Mazinkaiser, locking their blades together and shoving the super robot back a few feet before they came to a stand-still.

Kisara inhaled sharply as she saw Shiryu generate the sword.
'I don't want to make myself look like a fool... I've gotta give it everything I have, because he's probably gonna push me that far if he follows what Solranous said...' she thought, her hand clenching in nervousness, knowing she was staring down a far superior opponent. None the less, she drew the twin blades of her Zanpoktou, but instead of wielding them like that, she recombined them into their staff-like state and and charged with her weapon held like a spear.
Being rather straight foward, the attack was easily deflected by the Reaper. Kisara wasn't intending for the spear strike to hit though, and with the momentum being redirected by Shiryu's blade, she twirled the staff and brought the opposite blade crashing down, only to be blocked again by Shiryu. The staff portion of her weapon lined along her shoulders, so she took a better grip of the ends with one hand each and, with a slight twist, disconnected them again and scored a lucky glancing blow to Shiryu's side, before kicking him away.
"Not too bad to start, right?" Kisara quipped lightly in curiousity, preparing herself as much as she could for his retaliation.

Shiryu flipped backwards redirecting his momentum nullifying what the kick may have done.
"Not bad but I imagine you can do much better than that. don't be afraid to cut me up a bit... if you can...", he taunted her before launching his own assault.
He shot into her face catching one of her swords with his spinning her around. He put his foot on her back and pushed her away following it with a leg sweep as he moved next to her while she was off balance.
"Now come at me with more than flashy ineffective moves give me the blunt moves with a purpose behind them", he commanded of her.
He gave a quick look towards Merurio to make sure she was still ok while she was sleeping. Certain she was ok he returned his focus to Kisara and her training.

Mazinkaiser roars and forces Solranous backwards. Mazinkaiser then unleashed a barrage of attacks with his blade against Solranous' blade. He then slashes downwards, causing the dragon's blade's tip to puncture the ground. Mazinkaiser then swings his sword towards the neck of Solranous.
The dragon dodged and ripped his blade out again and clashed again with Mazinkaiser. The super robot smirks and charges again. The swords smash into each other, causing the ground below them to crack and crumble.

Solranous grinned at the power Mazinkaiser held, even in a sparring match. He would certainly be one of the strongest defenders here, even above the dragon himself and Shive if things went well for the super robot, or so he predicted.
Solranous brought his foot up under and throw Mazinkaiser's guard, kicking him up and breaking their lock. The dragon went to slash at Mazinkaiser, but the surper robot parried his blade even while in mid air.
Mazinkaiser landed solidly on the ground and blocked a downward swing from Solranous, creating another lock.
"I can see the fruits of your training... You will certainly be powerful, regardless of what comes your way..." Solranous commented, smiling as the match continued.

Kisara, meanwhile, was nervous...
No, not nervous, out right panicking. Emotions clashed with the desire to prove herself as the warrior she wanted to be.
'If this is how I do when training, what will happen when the fight is truly to the death!? What if I screw up and get myself killed!? Or worse!?'
She couldn't keep her thoughts straight as she looked at Shiryu, causing her to freeze up.
'I... I guess I'm just worthless... the innocent bystander who can't or won't do anything to help the situation...'
Kisara grimaced and tightened her grip on hr swords, before charging at Shiryu again, slamming one of her blades against his and pushing him back a few inches and entrenching his feet in the earth below them. She brought her second blade up and crashed it down on his, meanwhile pulling back with the first one, forcing him back a few more inches. Three more times she brought her blades crashing down on his.
'Why do I even bother? It's not like I'll ever make it enough to be able to stand on my own...' the substitue shinigami couldn't help but berate herself, she felt that it was true.
Kisara kicked at Shiryu while he was holding back her sword, knocking him back. She didn't wait for him to recover, though, and Flash-Stepped behind him just before he landed, and cut into his shoulder with one of her blades, letting a small spray of blood out.

Shiryu quickly grabbed his should with his free hand to slow the blood flow as he regenerated. Steam issued from beneath his hand and when he removed it his should was healed.
"Much better Kisara, get rid of that hesitation and things will be that much easier on you. I still sense something about your biorhythm, like you are having doubts about yourself. I want you to banish those thoughts now and focus on dropping the foe before you no matter the cost. If you doubt your abilities they will fail you. Concentrate and believe in yourself and your body will fight until the end and beyond its own limits. If you want to be able to stand on your own uphold the strength your family and friends count on", he called to her. "Now until you do this the thoughts you are thinking will remain true forever more, break that barrier and prove thyself to the world!"
He rushed in at her keeping his eyes locked on hers as if trying to pull out her true abilities with his gaze. The tip of his blade ran along the ground scorching as it went before connecting with one of Kisara's swords bringing it up and locked it with the other. He twisted his blade lifting both of her swords as high as they would go before bringing his free hand across backhanding her ribs. He then placed his foot on her torso and pushed her away to give her a moment to think about his words and exactly who she is.

Mazinkaiser then replies, "I must say the same to you, my friend. You're still an admirable opponent." He forces himself back and glares towards his opponent.
"Yeessss....indeed he is...especially when I fought him...heheheheh....", the voice of a familiar voice echoing in Mazinkaiser's brain. "Shut it you...." Mazinkaiser says mentally, "Remember your place in my body..."
Oh...sorry....didn't mean to...break your concentration you big wuss.... the voice echoes once more before disappearing. Mazinkaiser looks back at Solranous.
"Now...where were we..." Mazinkaiser says before rushing up to the dragon and knocks his opponent's sword upwards. Quickly, he swings his sword back and goes to hit Solranous from the side, but the dragon blocks with his sword. Mazinkaiser then unleashes a flurry of swings with his blade towards Solranous. Everytime, Solranous would block. Slowly, they began to progress into the air.
Their attacks continued to ring through the air. The metallic clash created small sparks that fell to the ground. The two went in for another attack, connecting and then forcing each other backwards. Mazinkaiser floated in the air, slowly progressing towards the ground. "I need to fix this situation....KAISER...SCRANDER!!"
With that, a green flash emitted from his back. Green flames emitted from his black and formed the Kaiser Scrander. The machine pointed his sword in front of himself and mutters, "Shall we continue?"

Solranous nodded, "We shall." The dragon surged back to the ground to meet Mazinkaiser, their blades clashing again as a small crater formed around Mazinkaiser's feet from the impact of the dragon's power. The two broke apart again, and Solranous made another attempt to strike Mazinkaiser, but before swinging, he Flash Stepped behind the super robot. Mazinkaiser still managed to block this attack with his reflexes being so good.
'This could go on for a while... oh well, with how things went, we've got plenty of time.' he thought to himself, only to worry somewhat that he might have jinxed something with that line. An attack made by Mazinkaiser almost got through his guard because of his musings, so he put the thought aside, not wanting to get sloppy all of a sudden.

Kisara's blades drooped down despite Shiryu's words, a tear fell from her eyes unseen.
'I don't want to get in over my head, to become so proud that pride should be the death of me... I'm so scared of what may come... what if one day... I'm caught alone and too weak to defend myself...?'
"How pathetic can you get!?" another voice, eerily similar to her own, echoed her mind.
"Wha?" Kisara soon realized she wasn't on the island anymore, but was now in a massive frozen cavern, but she didn't feel cold at all. Something grabbed her shoulder and yanked her around, and she gasped.
She was staring at what was almost a complete copy of herself, save the harsh glare coming from the other Kisara's eyes. There was the fact that the other Kisara also had some minor draconic features, mostly just claws and a few scales here and there poking out from under the clothing where they could.
"Who...?"
"Certainly you can figure that out for yourself."
Kisara, having a thought cross her mind, glanced down at one of the swords in her hands.
"You'd be right in that thought." the other Kisara answered the unspoken question.
"..."
"Look, why the hell did you seek out Sevra, and then agree to training at the island? Your not the one to fight without provocation, I can see that much."
Kisara glanced away from her look-a-like, eye lids drooping slightly, but made no response.
"You wanted to stay strong because you thought Solranous was dead for good, but now that he's back, you have no will? Is that the kind of warrior you want to be? The one who stands back until everything's gone to hell?" the other Kisara hissed accusingly.
"No..." Kisara whispered weakly.
" I can't hear you." the look-a-like said, having completely lied there, for she did hear the true Kisara's claim. Kisara didn't repeat herself at the prompting.
The look-a-like's face soon twisted into one of disgust, "Pathetic... That's all you are. You're no warrior. You can't bring yourself to strike when it could possibly save lives. What could you be afraid of!? You have great potential, but you refuse to see what's in front of you."
Kisara's head only dropped down as a response.
The other Kisara grabbed her by the collar and yanked her so that they were looking eye to eye again, and that Kisara was up on her toes.
"What do you want to gain from this, why do you do what you do, what is it that drove you to start down this path!?" the other Kisara practically screamed.
"..." Still, the Shinigami didn't respond.
The look-a-like gritted her teeth. "GET A fuckING HOLD OF YOURSELF!" she roared, reeling her fist back and smashing it into Kisara's face, causing the Shinigami to sprawl across the floor, eyes wide.
"What happened to that lively spirit I sensed? Don't let that die, or you'll really lose everything..."
"... Thanks..."
"Huh?"
Kisara got back up, rubbing her right cheek, before picking up the swords she had dropped when the look-a-like slugged her. "You reminded me why I was doing this."
Now said look-a-like had a smile on her features, "damn glad to hear that, my work here is done."
Back in reality, Kisara's cheek started to bruise, but now she was smiling. She brought her swords up on guard, then looked Shiryu dead in the eye with orange irises.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," was all she said before she vanished with the Flash Step, reappearing in front of Shiryu and kicking his sword out of the way, stabbing the Reaper in the stomach with one of her blades, before a burst of orange reiatsu exploded from her, shoving Shiryu back several feet before stopping, but he had no time to recover as Kisara Flash-Stepped in front of him again and bicycle kicked him up into the air, following him again and drop kicking back into the ground with a loud crash and a good deal of dust being kicked up from the landing.
Kisara landed near the cloud and looked in as best as she could, waiting for Shiryu to emerge.

Shiryu stood up in the dust cloud and spread his wings wide creating a very demonic silhouette.
He began to laugh quite hard to himself like he was finally entertained by something.
"Finally you fight with purpose. You are getting that spirit in you at last and I love it. However letting me get up like that isn't something you should do", he said smoothly.
The silhouette flickered before it vanished from the dust. he had appeared behind her his wounds close to healed. He held his sword blade along his arm and grabbed her throwing her into the air creating a large gash as he did so. After he released her he sprung into the air and caught her gut with a knee causing some blood from her gash to come out in a slight spray.
He then held his sword in both hands causing it to return to the energy state before reforming into his arm blades. He twisted midair bringing the back side if an arm blade across her back spiking her towards the ground. He quickly shifted his weapon again and caught her before she landed healed her wound and tossed her away to let her get another round of attacks in.
"Now this time come at me for the kill. I want you to give it everything you have and make this battle as if it were your last stand", he said beckoning her for another round.

Mercurio was starting to regain consciousness. She rubbed her eyes as she lifted herself away from the rock she was laying against.
She glanced at her arm and grabbed at her neck realising that the wounds were no longer there. Could the attack have been just a dream. She glanced around trying to figure out where she was and what was going on around her.

Kisara got back up quickly, looking like she wasn't fazed much by the attacks, even though Shiryu had healed the wounds before throwing her back.
"You want it... You got it." Kisara spoke, as an aura of orange reiatsu formed around her, grinning. She charged at Shiryu, before jumping into a Flash Step and slamming her blades against his, pushing him back a foot. The Shinigami grinned wider, and Flash Stepped again, cutting into Shiryu's back as she appeared behind him again. She spun quickly, kicking the Reaper in the head before he could recover from the blow, spinning him around to face her again as she swung her second sword up and behind her as she finished with her bakc to Shiryu, cutting him from his stomach up to his shoulder.
The Shinigami glanced back and kicked out at Shiryu's chest, pushing him away and giving her time to turn back around and renew her assault. She stabbed a sword into the ground temporarily, bring her fist back like a pendulum, and uppercutted Shiryu in the chin, launching him again. She gripped her buried blade and Flash Stepped again, just below Shiryu and began to twirl in mid air, spinning Shiryu with her blades as she cut him even more then before. She re-sheathed one of her blades and gripped the Reaper's foot, hurling him down to the ground once more.
This time though, she held the second blade down and dropped like meteor towards Shiryu, while drawing her first blade again in case she had to defend herself.

Shiryu waited for her to close in before he loosed a Shade Shockwave repelling her attack and casting her backwards. He then rocketed towards her pounding her in every direction he could in the air. After his rapid barrage he forced her against a rock with a spin kick. He went in for a Night Slash and cleaved the rock in two when she Flash Stepped out of the way. He finally banished his sword in favor of his hand to hand combat. He caught her leg at one point causing her to fall flat on her face before he flung her into the air and shot above her.
He released an Abyssal Stream into her back forcing her into the ground cratering the area as well. He used his wings to clear the area of the dust so she could not mount any form of sneak attack. He waited a moment while his wounds finished healing before he launched himself downwards and rammed his fist into her stomach causing the crater to grow in size by 3 feet in radius. Not to be one to ignore his own words he drilled his other hand into her gut adding another foot to the radius of the crater. He finally planted his legs and leapt out of the hole. Watching her he landed knowing she would get up but curious about her condition.

Mazinkaiser then points his sword towards Solranous and flies at him at blinding speeds. The two swords clash, the sound of metal ringing through the air. Over and over, the two swords smash into each other, the air being sliced like hot butter. Sparks dance from the blades and fall to the ground.
As the two continue to clash, a lion like object watches from far away. He suppresses his aurora so no one can detect him. He purrs seeing Mazinkaiser's forehead glow green. It narrows its eyes as it glows brighter.
The lion was uncertain that this machine was the heir to the throne to the King of Braves. The lion senses a dark presence within his soul. And it wasn't something small, it was very powerful. The lion would allow for the machine and the dragon to fight a bit more before the lion made its assessment on the machine called Mazinkaiser.

Kisara climbed back up to her feet, a minor cringe, but other wise doing fine.
"That hurt... which is obviously the point..." she muttered under her breath. She then turned to face Shiryu again, and raised her blades, feeling reiatsu flow into them.
The shinigami charged at Shiryu, swinging a bit prematurely to actully strike him with the blade. However, the purpose of the reiatsu flowing into it was quickly revealed, as he was still cut by a slight extenstion to the blade, which appeared to be slightly frosted over, that same frost building on his newest wound. Kisara grinned, her suspisions confirmed.
'So you are an ice elemental zanpoktou' Kisara thought.
"What was your first hint? The giant frozen caveran?" the zanpoktou shot back sarcastically. Kisara just grinned wider and pivoted, striking Shiryu in the gut with a strong kick and knocking the wind out of him. While he stepped back from the hit and regained his breath, Kisara struck him six more times, deep then the first one with the same frost building on it, which was starting to slow him down about a fraction of a second. The shinigami back handed Shiryu in the face before causing another long gash acrossed his shoulders and chest, ending it by kicking him into a nearby rock formation.

Solranous grinned mentally at Kisara's progress, keeping track of it even during his sparring with Mazinkaiser.
'It seems everybody here wil be powerful warriors in the end... Nightshade will need everyone it can get to protect the city in the future...' the dragon thought, a blade lock occurring as he did so. Mazinkaiser got the edge on the lock and shoved Solranous back, and two began to clash their blades together again for fractions of a second.
'I can't shake the feeling that we're being watched though... I can't sense anything on my telepathy, and the field around the island has warned me of anything... still, something is here...' the dragon mused. He put the thought aside to refocus on the sparring match again, just before Mazinkaiser made an attack that would've broken through his guard had he not refocused in time. The dragon grinned as he put as much power as he dared into combatting the super robot, knowing Mazinkaiser was giving the fight his all as well.

Shiryu sat next to the rock formation for a moment before flaring his energy and ridding his body of the ice that had taken hold. As he stood up his wounds regenerated once more and he was ready to strike again.
"Well seems that there is an elemental bit to your attacks now. I'll have to keep that in mind as we continue our battle here. Now ready yourself", he declared.
He burst forward from the rock cracking it and causing it to fall apart. As he drew in on Kisara he vanished from her view. He grabbed her collar from behind and threw her into the air where he collided with her blade using a Night Slash. He spun his blade knocking hers off balance and sent her farther into the air with a kick. As she began to come back down to the ground he juggled her with a Shade Shockwave.
He watched as she spun about in the air from his attack. As she reached her peak he began to charge up his Abyssal Stream waiting for her to pass the apex to loose it on her to test her strength against large scale attacks.

Mercurio was sitting a good distance away from either battle as she watched Shiryu help Kisara's training further itself. She couldn't help but think that she was a burden to him most of the time and wished there was more she could do for him before they got into more trouble.
I wish that I could reach my Spirit release like he has and fight alongside him and not feel like a burden to him. There must be something someone can teach me to add to my battle skills besides my spirit arrows.
She sat and pondered what she might be able to learn and who would be able and willing to teach it to her.
