Shiryu looked at Mazinkaiser and smiled. He held up his sword and dark energy enveloped it and dissipated taking the sword with it. He brought up his fists to near shoulder level and charged Mazinkaiser at full speed.
He closed on Mazinkaiser within a second and thrust his arm straight into Mazin's gut creating a burst of air around them that shot a ring of dust away from the spot of contact. As his punch lifted Mazin off the ground about six inches he quickly spun around on his left leg and brought his right into Mazinkaiser knocking him away from Shiryu at a high speed.
Shiryu shot behind Mazinkaiser in midflight and hit him with a shoulder block to stop him dead in the air. after the hit he backed away several yards to try and give himself time to react to the attack Mazin would counter with.

Mercurio focused hard once more and began to recreate the feeling she had earlier. After about a minute the energy came back within grasping distance and she grabbed it focusing it into her hands.
She brought her right hand to her left and stood sideways. She pulled her arm back and an eratic bolt of energy was formed between both hands. It snapped and crackled giving off all manner of 'sparks' as she held it.
She finally began to release it but rather than flying off like she was shown it snapped forward a few feet and crashed into the ground blowing a cloud of dust into the air.

Solranous clapped his hands at Mercurio's attempt.
"Very good, for the first conscious time." the dragon praised. "Keep working on it, you are sure to succeed at this rate." With that, his lips curled into a reassuring smile.
Meanwhile, Kisara got back up, and smiled. The second Solranous took this as an obvious sign that she was ready to try again, and stood up as well, watching and waiting. Kisara sighed to herself, looking calmer then she had previously, her legs tensed, and she made to do some kind of jump, only to vanish and reappear about ten feet away from her original spot, she turned, and once again vanished, this time appearing back where she started, her eyes shimmering with pride,
"I did it!" Kisara chimed, hopping up and down a bit, with Solranous laughing whole-heartedly at her joy. "Good, good, now that that's through, your one step closer to becoming a truly fearsome warrior. Practice it, and you'll be able to increase the distance you can cover with the Falsh Step." the dragon said to her, grinning still.

Mazinkaiser slides backwards after the last strike, giving out a sigh. He stands firm and glares into Shiryu's eyes. He then charges at Shiryu and clotheslines him in the neck. The warrior flips in the air and lands on the ground. Shiryu gets up and backs up one step.
Mazinkaiser then kicks the warrior in the side, making his body sway to the side. Again, Shiryu falls into the dirt and again Mazinkaiser stands firm.
Shiryu gets up again, feeling like he was hit by a truck after all those attacks. Mazinkaiser then pats his chest with his fist, a bit of dust flying off. "You're going to have to hit me like I just did if you want to do any real damage boy." he mutters with a smirk on.
Once again, he takes to the stance of letting Shiryu unleash another barrage of attacks. "Now, REALLY give me all you've got." he mutters.

Shiryu returned to his stance only this time it appeared more primal. The armor covering his body began to shift into dragon like parts. His rage mode had realized itself and Shiryu's inner battle would soon begin.
The now enraged Shiryu looks at Mazinkaiser. It glares at him showing no ounce of humanity within reach of control. The primal instincts that had been released let out a roar sending the dust in the area out in a cloud. He raced forward ramming one of his arm blades into Mazin's stomach and then backhanded him off the blade with the free arm.
As Mazinkaiser flew off the blade a Night Slash was released impacting him midflight. Shiryu soon rushed to the air releasing the Nine Fragments upon Mazinkaiser as he hovered just above him. He opened his armored maw and began to charge the Impact Cannon to blast Mazinkaiser.

Mercurio was hard at it again and this time she had been finding more and more success with the technique. With each shot it flew further before the energy dispersed in a small explosion.
"Oh dangit I'm so close to mastering this technique. I wonder if the fact that my energy is so unrefined has something to do with the bolts not holding their shape", she mused.
She drew up the energy again and rather then letting it fly immediately after the bolt formed she focused on the bolt and what it should look like. As she concentrated the bolt reacted, as she pressed the image of the bolt had helped her form the one in her hands began to follow suit. With one final crack the bolt was snapped into the sleek form Sol had showed her earlier.
She opened her eyes and gazed at her refined bolt. She took aim at a boulder nearby and released the shot. It flew straight and true colliding with the boulder and making a smooth bore hole right through its center.
Mercurio jumped up and down in excitement. "Omigosh Sol did you see that I actually did it! Thank you so much for your help", she exclaimed. She jumped up and gave her Sol instructor a hug to help convey her thanks to him. She sat down to rest and recover the large amount of energy she used in this practice.

Solranous' eyes widened as Shiryu changed.
"Very good effort, sorry to rush but its time for Shiryu to do his own training." Solranous said to Mercurio, as he and the second Solranous rejoined and Flash Stepped over, body slamming Shiryu away.
The dragon turned to Mazinkaiser and sighed. "I know you probably could have with stood that, and while you can probably go toe-to-toe with him even in his current state, only I have the abilities required to do some..." Solranous made a few coughs, before continuing. "'Damage control.' As I mentioned in the schedule, I'll be containing Shiryu, help out with Kisara and Mercurio, make 'em work hard to train themselves." Solranous then turned to the recovering Reaper and charged at Shiryu, generating a twenty foot radius sphere around them through telekinesis as he prepared for the Reaper's next attack.
'This could get messy...' the dragon thought to himself.

Shiryu returned to his archaic stance unfazed by Sol's blow.

The true Shiryu that was inside the personal world within the mind was about to do some combat of his own against the demon that had been controlling his rage mode.
[glow=red,2,300]At last you have arrived. Finally I get my chance to take over your body.[/glow]
"That's not gonna happen, I have too much to live for", Shiryu replied. As they spoke the field had changed to create a ring that dropped into an abyss that lead to somewhere unknown.
Shiryu and the demon leapt together locking their hands together in a test of strength.

The beast that was facing Sol responded to the demons actions and attacked its opponent as well. It rushed in but vanished just before it got into striking distance of Sol and came in from behind. He kneed Sol in the back before slashing his back with an arm blade creating 3 gashes along the slash line.
Upon completing the attack he moved to the middle of the sphere and unleashed a fully charged Impact Cannon upon its central point. The barrier displayed a few spider web cracks in it from the blast as the raging beast tried to escape it to utilize the entire area.

Back in the mental battle field Shiryu had taken a big hit from the demon but returned its blow with a knee smash to the gut which renered the beast motionless in the real world. Not letting up his assault Shiryu clenched his fist together and hammered down on the demon's skull knocking it flat to the ground. The beast plummeted to the ground once the demon received this blow.

Solranous cringed and growled when the Impact Cannon struck his barrier, and he held his hand out to the cracks, repairing them within a few seconds.
"I'm not gonna let you escape." the dragon muttered as he regenerated his own wounds, and charged the beast that Shiryu had become, tackling him and wrestling him to the ground, trying to pin his opponent down. He didn't want to hurt the Reaper too badly while the mental fight was going on, so he figured this was the best way.
Solranous used his own arms to pin down Shiryu's. and each of his tails to grip the Reaper's legs and tail.
"Your not gonna break free that easily..." the dragon muttered to himself.

Blaze looked around as the others trained hard to better them selfs, he laid back and closed his eyes, the ground shaking from Shiryu's power. He listened as Mercurio and Kisara slowly obtained their goals.
[glow=red,2,300]"Wow, they all work so well together."[/glow]
The glowing dragon thought to himself with a smile. Blaze gazed skyward watching as the clouds went by, then stood. He walked over to congratulate Mercurio for her achievement, but during the seemingly long journey he froze in place, eyes widening.
"Let me out, NOW!"
Blaze Fell to his knees and screamed in pain as Eko's arm violently erupted from Blaze chest, sending blood splatter to cover the ground. Immediately after Eko's upper torso crawled out along with the rest of his frame. Leaving Blaze half dead in the dirt. Eko reached down and patted Blaze on the face before catching the sent of a female.
[glow=red,2,300]"well hello to you"[/glow] The evil dragon flash stepped behind Mercurio, taking a deep breath at her neck and exhaling fire down her right arm, causing Mercurio to scream in pain. Eko then quickly bit down on her neck, blood running from his maw.
[glow=red,2,300]"What the hell are you doing!?"[/glow]
Blaze yelled as he reverted back to normal. The dragon lowered his head and thought to himself for a moment and let lose Nosis for whom he deemed the Third personality. He lept to his feet and flash stepped in mid kick, hitting Eko in the temple, sending him sprawled out in the ground. Nosis looked over and seen Solranous's telekinetic barrier then created his own around Eko then took a fighting stance.

Mercurio howled in pain from the unexpected attack on her and slumped over to the ground unconscious. This didn't go unnoticed by Shiryu who was deep in his internal battle. He broke the test of strength and quickly began drilling the demon with blow after blow driving it to the edge of the mental battle field.
"I have no more time to waste on you! I hereby banish you from the depths of my mind forever more!" Shiryu grabbed the demon by the throat and cast it into the abyss of oblivion below.

Shiryu's eyes suddenly broke the dark color of hatred that had glazed them over earlier. Not caring what happened to himself now he fully released the power barriers placed on him for centuries. The armor that once covered his body now dissipated leaving a full dragon anthro form underneath Sol.
Shiryu quickly tossed Solranous of and shot off in the direction of Eko hitting Sol's barrier twice shattering it on the second hit and bursting through the barrier around Nosis and Eko outright.
Shiryu was in Eko's face within a second holding by the throat in a death grip. His stare conveyed the very essence of death to the beast he was holding letting others around him know they were not to interfere in this matter.
"You dare harm a woman without provocation. I just can't stand that, but what's worse is it was my woman you hurt. For that... you shall pay!", he said in a tone that could freeze the very air.
He threw Eko into the air rending his gut and back with a pair of Night Slashes before rocketing him back into the ground with a mid air spin kick. It was then that he released The Nine Fragments Completed upon Eko pinning him in place on the ground disrupting his energy flow and increasing the gravity field upon him. Shiryu's maw began to glow with his usual dark Purple energy. He finally finished the charge and fired the beam down upon Eko, with full force and intent to kill, as it impacted his foe.

As the smoke cleared, Nosis was seen in a defensive stance protecting a badly beaten Eko. Nosis fell to his knees bleeding and out of breath, both his eyes burnt from the blast.
"Don....Don't kill him...damnit!"
Eko looked up at Shiryu, shaking with fear and disbelief.
"thats, incredable..."
Eko quickly reformed with Nosis, and Blaze took over as the dominant personality, leaving Blaze passed out on the ground nearly dead.

Shiryu wasn't finished with Eko yet. He moved over to Blaze's body and picked it up and shook it as if trying to get something to fall out.
"damn you, you bloody coward get out here! I'm not finished with you, when I get ahold of you again when you're not hiding behind another person I'm gonna kill you", he hissed letting Blaze's body sag back to the ground.
He was at Mercurio's side in a flash and cradled her in his arms. He put his head to hers as tears began to flow down his draconic face.
"Wake up Mercurio, please wake up", he begged in a near hysterical state.
She didn't even stir at his words just layed there limp in his arms bleeding profusely from the neck.

Solranous was at their side soon after, kneeling down on the opposite side.
"Let me." He murmured to the now anthro reaper, taking Mercurio out of his arms and placing his hand on her neck, which quickly sealed up under the dragon's telekinetic influence.
"She's stable now that I've dealt with that... Her arm will take more effort, I'm seeing second, maybe third degree burns here. It's blessing she's unconscious, or the pain of what i have to do to heal her from it could have driven her to madness. She'll still feel pain, but it will be quite numb compared to what it could be." The dragon informed Shiryu regretfully. "It would be best if I take care of it now instead of waiting for this to try and heal naturally, if the wound is bad enough she may lose the use of her arm if I do not act. 'May' being the key word here, but I don't want to take a chance."
The dragon held his hands over Mercurio's charred arm and closed his eyes in concentration, the scar tissue from the flames slowly seperating itself from the raw, unharmed flesh underneath, as the female reaper's face contorted in moderate pain. Solranous diverted some of his energy to make sure she stayed out for the duration.
In a process that felt pain stakingly long, when in actuality only took a few minutes, Solranous pulled all of the scar tissue away from Mercurio's arm and discarded the useless mass and regenerated the arm's lost flesh, taking care to keep it sterile as the flesh grew back.
Once he was finished, the dragon stood back up, and used his telepathic ability to try coaxing Mercurio to wake up from the ordeal.

Mercurio groaned slightly from Sol's mental prodding. She turned away from him back into Shiryu's arms for comfort. He hugged her to his body and began to whisper in her ear to get her to awaken. She looked up into his face with eyes holding pain in them.
She had no energy to speek and promptly fell asleep in his arms. He hugged her close before picking her up and taking her to a place in the shade of a rock outcropping. He set her down in a comfortable position and turned back to Sol giving him a hug with much of his strength.
"I owe you so much Sol I don't think there's any way I could possibly ever repay you for all of it. You need me or just want to go out for dinner some time you got a deal. I know it sounds bad but we ought to heal up Blaze before he bleeds to death", Shiryu told Sol.
He motioned towards the nearly disemboweled anthro slumped on the ground from his torment. He felt sad for the good part of this creature but he still wanted to kill the dark side of him.

a few seconds later Blaze's eyes opened and returned Shiryu's stare, he slowly sat up, held his stomach and vomited blood, falling back down. Blaze wiped his mouth and forced himself to stand, he then looked down how hurt Mercurio really was. Pain filled the dragon's heart as his eyes widened and filled with tears.
[glow=red,2,300]"Sh- Shiryu...I-Im so...sor-"[/glow]
He stopped himself knowing words couldn't fix the situation. The still glowing Anthro turned to Solranous eyes watering over.
[glow=red,2,300]"Th- Thanks for helping her..."[/glow]
Blaze slowly backed away locked on the unconscious Mercurio, then teleported out of the area, leaving only a large puddle of blood in his place.

Solranous sighed as Blaze left.
"Well... thank god nothing worse came from that... Due to Eko's interference though, things sped up more then I anticipated. Mazinkaiser, you and I will get straight to the sparring match. Shiryu, if you would help train up Kisara and Mercurio, that should be enough of an adjustment to salvage the rest of what we need to do here."
The dragon turned towards Mazinkaiser and settled into a battle stance, calmly invoking the power of his Bankai. "Whenever you are ready, Mazinkaiser." the dragon said to the super robot.
Kisara managed a small smile turning to Shiryu and Mercurio, before something caught her attention and she turned to gaze at one edge of the floating island. Improbably, a scaled paw struggled to grip the edge, before a second followed it, both ankles bearing white 'armor' before the two fore legs hauled up the form of Kisara's trusted companion up. Still clinging to the edge, Onyste lifted up a foreleg and spat various profanities at Kisara which only the Substitue Shinigami could understand, all the while flailing the paw it had lifted up.
Kisara sweat dropped at the sight and mutter a small, sheepish "Sorry..."
