Solranous, Kisara, Shiryu, and Mercurio appeared at the floating island, thanks to Solranous' Flash Step, as the dragon let go of them.
"Alright, now that we're here, what should we do?" Kisara asked Solranous as she set down her duffel bag.
Solranous closed his eyes for a bit, and started walking away. "You guys set up, I'm going to set down a few... 'alarms' around the perimeter of the island in case some idiot has the idea of trying to disturb us." he answered.
Kisara arched an eyebrow, but shrugged.

A green light is beckoned from under the Floating Island. A green illuminated form rises from the side of the island, its mechanical form burning with bravery. A green colored gem hums upon the forehead of the machine. The machine lands in front of Solranous and Kisara and the others. The being was none other than Mazinkaiser, the successor to the King of Braves.
"Well, its been a while Solranous..." Mazinkaiser chuckles, cracking his fingers together, "Mind if I join you in this training session? Gets kind of boring when you train by yourself."
The green skin shrinks away and into the G-Stone, the original colors of Mazinkaiser showing. His mechanical body is dented and burning in a few places, showing his intense training for the past few months after GaoGaiGar's death. He was ready to help others become stronger now.
((Wow...that last line sucked...))

Shiryu merely noted the new company and went back to his meditation trying to get ahold of the rage mode within him as best he could. Mercurio however went up to Mazinkaiser and replied.
"Not a problem at all. The more we have around the more we can learn right? It'll be nice to have a bit more company around with us after all", she chimed up.
"Feel free to do as you wish Mazinkaiser it doesn't matter to me either way as long as we can get this training done with", Shiryu stated sinking deeper into his meditation.
They awaited Sol to finsh his safeguard installments and begin the basic instruction. Nerves were running a bit high as the pair wondered just how well the Spirit Rage could be controlled.

"Good to have you around Mazinkaiser, this'll help make things go much easier... or we can make it just as hard and get more out of it in the end. I like that second one better." Solranous replied to the robot through telepathy. The dragon placed two more 'beacons' and they entire island got a slight shimmer around it for a few seconds. A few seconds later Solranous was back with the group, detailing how things should go.
"Alright, here's how we're gonna do this. I'll teach Kisara and Mercurio the absolute minimum that I want them to leave with. While I'm doing that, Mazinkaiser, Shiryu, I want you two to warm up with each other. Once I'm done teaching Mercurio how to control her new power and Kisara how to use the Flash Step, I'll come over and we go into the battle that will give Shiryu the time he needs to conquer the demon within him." The dragon then turned to the super robot in the presence.
"Mazinkaiser, while I'm doing that, I want you to do some sparring with Mercurio and Kisara simultaneously, don't hurt them too badly, but push them as far as they can go, especially Kisara. She's new to the prospect of being a fully-fledged warrior, and I need you to help her find her resolve, the resolve that will let her draw out her true power. Try to push her beyond her limits if you have to..."
The dragon inhaled slightly, before continuing.
"After that, Shiryu, Mercurio and Kisara are free to cool down if they wish. Mazinkaiser and I will have a full out sparring match, no holds barred. That way, everybody gets what they came for."
Solranous sighed, finished detailing the plan.
"Does everybody agree with this?" he asked, looking between all present, Kisara nodded, her hand clenched with determination.

Shiryu stood up and readied himself for the new Mazinkaiser's power. He was fully aware of being on the verge of shifting to the rage state and held at that state to test his mettle in the warmup with Mazinkaiser.
"That's fine by me Sol. As long as we all get done what we need to get done this should work perfectly", Shiryu stated. "Well Mazinkaiser I look forward to this and hope you enjoy it as much I hope to."
He stood off to the side and summoned forth his Heru Faia Tansen in preparation for the warmup battle. Energy gathered around his body completely engulfing it. The enrgy ball around him unraveled in strands and revealed his armored state in all its glory.
Mercurio watched the transformation process for the first time and marveled at how brilliant it was. She stood in awe once more of the warrior that she was in love with.
"Ok Sol I'm ready to learn to control this power now. I just hope I don't hurt anyone with it before I get a handle on it. Good luck Shiryu try not to get yourself hurt when you fight Mazinkaiser or Sol alright?", she said as she turned toward her training partner and tutor ready to learn.
The two split up as they began to get on with what work they needed to do for their future as well as those of the people close to them.

A cry of pain was heard as Blaze came rocketing down from the sky and hit the ground with a loud crash. The dragon slowly swayed to his feet and walked past Sol and Mazinkaise, eyes fixed on the ground.
"LET ME OUT!" Eko yelled within Blaze for all to hear.
The red dragon winced in pain as he fell to one knee, his body began to blur and fade. His skin became a darker red as scard came visible. Blaze swiftly stood, extended his left arm out, and jabbed his pointer and index finger into the side of his own neck.
He stood froze in place for a few seconds before swinging a punch into the air next to Mazinkaise, and let loose a loud rawr.
The red coloring on Blaze's skin swirled and mixed with the lighter color, His right eye remained black as his left went grey, and his hair became a few inched longer and went purple.

Blaze happily pated Sol of the shoulder, walked and laid on the ground a few yards away.

Mazinkaiser smirks in approval, his body shimmering against the sun. There is a flash from his two shoulders and the handles of swords appear. Mazinkaiser grabs them and pulls out the dual Kaiser Blades. The blades smoke with a green mist that dissipates into the air. He releases a breath and points his swords at the two he would spar with.
"Come at me with all you've got." Mazinkaiser growls, "Don't slack off....I could slice off an arm or leg." He smirks at the last statement, a green glow creeping over his body slowly.

Shiryu merely grinned under his helm as he prepared to advance upon his friendly foe. His Heru Faia Tansen burned intensely in as the aniticpation grew within it's owner.
"Well King of Braves let's see how we stack up to each other", he called across the field.
Shiryu suddenly shot forward at Mazinkaiser and released a wave of energy from the sword ahead. Right after his attack was made he shot off to the side and loosed another one in an attempt to make Mazinkaiser move in the direction that would benefit him most. These combined attacks left Mazinkaiser with no room to back up and no room to move forward.
Shiryu waited overhead for his opponent to choose between the air or moving along the ground.

Meanwhile Mercurio had moved off in the direction of where she was going to train. once she arrived she began to try and locate the energy within herself that she had unkowingly summoned a night ago. She struggled to find it and when she felt a sliver of it it slipped away as if playing tag.
She grew frustrated and decided to wait for Sol to come along to help her with the technique that eluded her at every turn. She huffed and sat down wanting to be doing something instead of just sitting around like she normally does during a battle.

Seconds after, Solranous appeared next to her, decided to shave a little time off with the Flash Step.
"For a first conscious try, that wasn't too bad." the dragon commented.
"However, I think I can see where your problem could be. When you first tapped into it, your emotions were flaring up. It could very well be those emotions that would bring the energy into greater focus so that you could take control of it. Try to remember the feeling you had when you first used it, and then try to recreate it as best as you can now." Solranous instructed.
Meanwhile, a second Solranous was with Kisara simultaneously, who had similarly wandered away from the fight that was going to commence.
"Alright. The Flash Step is a rather simple ability to learn, but it takes practice to get to greater lengths." the second Solranous began.
"To begin, all you need to do is picture where you want to be after you finished with the Flash Step, and then 'project your reiatsu there."
Kisara nodded to that. "This shouldn't be too hard..." she commented. She made about three attempts, but they weren't successful, which got on her nerves a bit.
"damnit.... I take back what I said a few seconds ago..." the substitute Shinigami muttered.

Blaze stood with a sick look on his face.

the confused anthro rubbed his eyes then realized what had happened to him and why.
[shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300]"DANMIT EKO!"[/glow][/shadow]
Blaze again looked around and immediately shot between Shiryu and Mazinkaiser and redirected the energy that was shot, into the air, as it disappeared in the clouds. Then looked up at Shiryu, still confused.

Shiryu slowly went back to the ground as he saw the practice battle he had kicked off grind to a halt before it even got rolling.
He looked Blaze dead in the eyes as he leveled with him. "Why did you interupt us? We were just about to begin our training nothing more. We had just initiated the warmup to work with each other", Shiryu scowled under his helm as he did so he was beginning to lose the grasp he had on his rage mode.
It slowly slipped away into the farther reaches of his mind as he waited fro Blaze to respond and Mazinkaiser to react.

Mercurio listened to Sol closely as she thought back to that night when she had shot Darkray to save Shiryu. Her feelings were at such a high pitch she could only conjure up a mere fraction of it standing where she was.
As she summoned the one emotion she feared the most she felt the energy come within her reach. She hastily reached for it only to have the emotion drop in her and the energy fade. She lightly grimaced at her failure and began again this time making sure to take it slowly so as not to lose her mindset.
Finally she grasped the energy and once she did so it began to collect in her hands. She opened her eyes in glee and saw she had succesffully harnessed the energy within but as she had done moments ago her emotion shifted and the energy left her hands. She scoffed at it but only knew she would make progress from here on.

Mazinkaiser flies at Shiryu and lands multiple strikes with his twin Kaiser Blades against Shiryu's sword. He spins and throws a kick to Shiryu's legs and knocks him down. He points his one blade at Shiryu's face, the blade only inches away from his eye. Mazinkaiser steps back and allows for the warrior to stand.
Mazinkaiser turns and glares at Blaze. "I don't care who you are." Mazinkaiser growls, "Do NOT interfere with my duel." Mazinkaiser then turns back to Shiryu. "Now...where were we...."
He points his swords at Shiryu and waits for the warrior to attack him. "Go ahead and use as much power as you want. Don't worry about hurting me..." Mazinkaiser mutters.

Shiryu Spun himself up from the ground using his feet to kick the extended blade in Mazinkaiser's hand. This turned Mazinkaiser around and once Shiryu was on his feet he loosed an energy wave into the back Mazinkaiser sending him sprawling a few yards away.
Shiryu charged as Mazinkaiser turned around and locked his blade with Mazinkaiser's for a face off.

Mercurio sat and thought about how close she had come to controlling the energy within. She thought about how she would mold the energy into the bolt like form she had done back against Darkray. She could get the power into her hands but she could not form it as of yet.
"Say Sol what do I do once I get the energy under control and in my hands? That's as far as I got but I don't know how to shape it and then how to fire it off like I did before", she questioned her mentor.

Solranous grinned at Mercurio. "You're getting far, and you'll have it mastered soon, even on your own. However, I believe it is best to be shown what you should be doing from your perspective."
The dragon moved behind Mercurio, bringing her back up to her feet with telekinesis.
"I will demonstrate how it is done, using the powers my mind can access to let you feel just how it should be. That way, all you have to do is memorize it and repeat it."
With that, he cupped his hands over Mercurio's 'binding' hers with his telekinetically. The dragon then channelled the energy into her hand, holding it out in front of her. He brought the second hand over the first and 'gripped' the energy with it, and pulling the second back, stretching the energy into the bolt that Mercurio had used against Darkray. This bolt, however, was much calmer then the one Mercurio had produced on her own.
"You may not remember, but this was your stance when you forged your first bolt." Solranous informed her. "Once you've sighted your target, all you need to do to fire is to simply... release it."
As he spoke, the hand that was holding the energy as a bolt let go, and the energy rocketed off into the distance, fizzling out once it was out of sight.
"Now you know how it feels to channel that energy into a bolt, I want you to practice it. Don't be fretful if its not perfect the first time, I've had a good year of time to practice my ability to manipulate energy. With practice, you will be just as good as well. Also, it shouldn't drain you as much as that first bolt did. Once you have control of the energy, you can decide how much you want to put into it, instead of it being random every time."
With that, he released her hands and stepped back watching for when she tried to repeat what he had done for herself.

Kisara was having minor problems herself, she couldn't quite picture where she was going to be clearly enough in her mind, frustrating the less advanced substitute Shinigami.
"Grr... You make it look so easy!" Kisara complained to the second Solranous.
"That's because i've been doing it for a while now." Solranous replied, "Try to keep yourself calm, if you let your emotions get the better of you, your mind will be unable to focus properly."
"Calm!? I failed what's probably one of the easiest abilities I could get and your asking me to stay calm over that!?" Kisara exploded, before gasping. "S-Sor-"
"Don't" Solranous cut in.
"But-" Kisara tried, but was silenced as the dragon raised one finger to his lips.
"You're stressed, which is counter-productive to any teaching and learning. Rest for a while, we'll try again when you feel ready." the dragon ordered.
"Kay..." Kisara sighed, sitting down and sighing. It hit her just how stressed she was right then, and it stunned her that she didn't notice it before.
"See? If we had kept going, you would only get more frustrated, which would cause you to fail more often. A cruel cycle that keeps feeding itself if allowed to." Solranous quiped with a grin.
"Yeah... your right, as always." Kisara managed to joke.
"Hehe... not always, Kisara," the dragon shot back, and both of them shared a couple laughs.

Mazinkaiser laughs at Shiryu, but not mocking him. He was interested in what this fighter could do. Shiryu would become a seasoned fighter if he trained enough. Mazinkaiser smirks and picks up his one sword. He sheaths the two swords into his shoulders and punches his fists together. He gives out a sigh, letting a small spout of green smoke drip from his mouth.
He stands up and looks at Shiryu, moving his head to the side and making a cracking noise. "Let us try some hand to hand combat."
Mazinkaiser puts his fist to his chest and beats it. "Hit me with all you have." He then stands, arms wide open. He was letting himself open to see what this warrior could do.
