That... was freaking awesome. Berserk 01 may have just made my day. Dialogue was spot-on, and the atmosphere felt just as it was in the story. Also.... I find the length's you're going to a bit.... creepy. Not the whole 'killing people' thing, no-no, just the 'posing-as-a-teenage-girl' thing... >.>

Hey, I'm desperate. Would you take the route the story me decided to take if you: a) were desperate. b) didn't want to kill anybody. and c) didn't want to be discovered? I mean, really, what better way to throw off people trying to link the 'crime' back to you then posing as a member of the opposite gender? Asuka:  You aren't going to cross dress underneath that cloak to enhance the effect, are you? Azure: *gags* What the hell gave you that thought!? I'm not that desperate! |

Next Chaps up, and its actually longer then the others, to my shock.
Yeah, I thought episode seven was rather pointless with Jet Alone, but seeing as I didn't want to just skip over that, I decided to let the Fifth deal with it. Being completely obliterated like that would certainly discontinue funding. By the way, that was just a plot device to get rid of Jet Alone so that I wouldn't have to go through the JA episode, no matter how much Ramiel charged it, it should have made JA go boom.

WOW. That was damn-good chapter! I lieks! Jet Alone got pretty about as much as I expected, Ramiel's dialogue was... unforseen, and now you've got me addicted to the damn thing. MOAR STORY!!
Editor's Note: If the Ramiel fight was that good, I canNOT wait for the Arm of God to show up... *shakes fist* >.<

Next chaps up.
Before anybody asks, yes, I do intend to mess around when it comes to jokes on Asuka. This will be much more humor filled then the real show. Also, I wasn't originally intending on changing the Gaghiel fight, but I decided that it would be out of character for Asuka to pass up a chance to prove that she's superior. Unfortunately for her, thanks to my advanced knowledge, I unintentionally make her look like a failure again, making her even more mad at me.

Ahhh, another fine addition to the story! I had defineately expected Asuka's introduction to go.... errm... 'about as planned', in which case I mean badly for everyone. *cough* Nevertheless, good story! Can't wait for the I...Isr... Israphel? Eh, the 7th Angel fight. *rubs head* Ugh, I just need to re-watch the damn series...

Chapter 7 is up, and with the right level of care and jabbing in just the right place to stimulate her memories, I crack Asuka's shell to let her pain flow away.
Don't worry, she'll still be the fiery red head we all know and love, she'll just be less prone to flying into physical rampages.
As always, comments please.
And just as a note, I really want to hear Fred's current opinion about what's happening so far in the story, so until he posts his comments, there will be no more updates. I won't stop writing, no not at all, and as a matter of fact, the more time Fred takes to comment, the more chapters I can upload at once for your viewing pleasure. Either way, you guys see more story, so don't complain.
And seriously, what the hell? The last one was nineteen pages, and this was twenty-two pages! I am going to scream my head off if I some how make the Sandalphon chapter twenty-five or more pages long.

Shive: Talon's a bit... 'preoccupied' at the moment, so I'm here to say what he wanted to say: Hot damn that was good! The emotion was almost tangible, in a sense, the fight matched up perfectly, humor was top-notch, and- *pauses* the omake was.... interesting. *coughs something along the lines of 'hentai'* T'was good all in all! Also- I hope there'll be a chapter wherein all four Eva are involved.

Don't worry, all four Evangelions will be deployed in a mission sooner or later...
Also, don't tell Asuka this, but I've recently read that Unit 02 is arguably the weakest of the three Evas that appear in the actual series.

Alright, I'd just like to apologize first to Azure. I'm sorry for not reading your story for this time span. This entire week has been literally Hell for more. My best friend moving away, the teachers in my school giving me crap, the works. I deeply am saddened that I was not able to read your story. I enjoy it. I haven't read a good Evangelion fanfiction in ages. I've just haven't had the best of days this week my friend. But now that I have read your latest chapters....
I must say, I still at the edge of my seat. I love the emotion you put into each character, yet still giving you opinions of their nature and attitudes at the same time. I find the battles to be most thrilling to say the least. So, I must say, keep up the good work. Or I Kill you ;D
But as the matter of "Who the Weakest Eva is", it defiantly isn't Unit 02. Its Unit 00. Its the lowest armor value, and possible the weakest of them all. Unit 02 has better armor, more accuracy, and more speed. Its an MP model so its much better than the previous two versions. That is if you exclude the god that is Evangelion Unit 01. But I'd say Unit 03 and 04 are stronger than 02. They probably improved on the armor and such, but still kept to the basic standard that Unit 02 had. So yeah....there's my thought on that.

Anyways, next chap's up... I... have mixed feelings about this one... *mutters to self* I won't be offended if you criticize certain parts.
Also, sorry about centering it more on myself then Shinji, but this is mostly from my POV... I felt there was a need to change the centering, even though he won't be completely omitted, it just wouldn't be Eva with out him or any of the other pilots.
Speaking of them, I feel I haven't been giving Rei enough screen time, what do you think about that?
By the way, anyone feel on taking a guess at who's playing as Unit 04's soul? I'm not giving any more hints then what i did in the chapter.

I... had literally fallen off of my chair at the 'thermal expansion' joke... I was laughing so hard I thought I'd need a change of pants.  Perverted jokes aside, the chapter was good, as to be expected! I do feel, though, that Shinji and Rei should both be getting a bit more screentime, but that's just me. And seeing Asuka acting ashamed had disturbed me quite a bit. o.0 Shive: *screaming in background* WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY GIRLFRIEND?! *trips over self* assuming my guess is correct... *finally hits ground face-first* |
