Mortis blinked, one eye after the other, then staggered.

"Dunno." He yawned.

Mortis then passed out, after falling forward onto the ground. Cerberus glanced at one of the dead Scourge, hefted it onto his shoulder, and paused. He glanced at Solranous, then asked,

"Uh... you gonna need help with him?"

"No... No I won't." Kisara sighed, realizing now why Onyste insisted she always have some of her Mag Claw abilities charged. She was out-lined by the familiar blue-and-purple glow, and then she fired a stream from her hands that allowed her to lift Solranous without much trouble. She carried him into his house and laid him on the couch, hoping that what Khimera said about it only causing fatigue was right.

Cynder stumbled in soon afterwards and do to circumstances, her hollow was not impressed, she sulked because she no longer had a way to force Cynder into giving her the body.

Needless to say, she was p***ed. Cynder, not really caring, trudged to one of the guest bedrooms so she could recover from what happened.

Cerberus shrugged, then hefted the Scourge corpse over his shoulder and launched into the air, heading for the desert. Mortis was sleeping soundly on the roof, immune to the night's cold, when a winged figure landed next to him, smirking.

"Aww. Little guy's all tuckered out." Shive stated.

He picked him up and bounded off to his 'house', not seeing all of the corpses on the ground. Because they weren't there anymore.

Meanwhile, off somewher else in the city, a certian Sangheili was standing on the a roof, hodling his plasma rifles leveled at a familiar draconic shape...

Solranous's.

"What do you want with me?" Barias hissed.

'Solranous' merely flexed a claw at Barias. Then dark-colored blood spattered over the ground, and Solranous had been replaced by another Barias. 'Barias' smirked, then bounded off into the night...
