Mortis looked at the floor, his cheeks a bright red. He grumbled something as he glanced off to the side, swaying his tail against the chair. Draethik came to mind again, and he shuddered slightly, head drooping.
Why can't he just find someone else? Does it have something to do with my father? He thought sullenly.
His claws dug into the end of the chair.
But... if he's anything like Dogolas... then he'll stop at nothing to get a hold of me... He added.
He glanced around the room, trying not to make eye contact with anyone.
I should probably get going soon...

Onyste snorted, picking up on Mortis' sullen expression.
Kisara frowned, taking a chair next to the blue wyrmling.
"Hey, don't get so depressed about it. You should enjoy the life you have, not worry about whatever it is that's gotten you 'down in the dumps.' I mean, really, whats the point of living if your not going to enjoy it?"
It didn't seem to have any real impact on the blue wyrmling at first, but she still hugged him again.
"You've got friends here, Mortis, just so you know."
"Yeah, you do, thankfully you didn't meet them the way I met them." Cynder added.
"Lets... not go back to that, alright?" Kisara replied to Cynder, who nodded in agreement.

Mortis's lower lip trembled, and he sniffed.
"Thanks... that menas a lot to me..." He muttered.
He paused, then stared at something at the base of the leg of his chair. It hissed at him, and he scowled as it nipped at his tail.
"HEY!"
He inhaled, then fired off a blast of what looked like snowy mist, which froze the black slug-thing solid upon contact. Mortis scowled at it, then smashed his tail through it, shattering the thing completely.
"What the hell was that?" He asked.
Meanwhile, outside, the jet-robot landed on the roof of the building next to Solranous's, fragmenting the roof. The bot's eye flashed as it began to scan the area of its targets.
"Sh*t-sh*t-sh*t-sh*t..." He muttered.

A crash outside brought them to attention, Cynder was the first to go outside seeing Solranous had made a crater with his landing, but miraculously managing not to harm his own legs.
"Where the hell are those things?" Solranous growled, then turned to Cynder.
"If you see any black slug-like creatures, kill them before they touch you." The dragon growled.
"Um, Mortis froze one and shattered it."
"WHAT!? THEY ARE ALREADY HERE!? SH*T!" Solranous cursed, drawing his sword. He didn't want anymore 'Mutant Solranous'', so he would refrain from hand-to-hand combat. and fight mostly with his sword and long range attacks.
"Where are they? Could they have us surrounded already? Are they even intelligent enough to think of such a scheme, let alone carry it out?" Solranous wondered, on guard with all of his senses.

There was a loud hissing coming from all directions. They came from everywhere. Some had already assimilated themselves new forms, and others retained their slug forms. Some of the 'evolved' ones had varying forms, some were humanoid, some like wolves, and one or two resembled spiky Xenolith's. Yet they all shared one thing in common: Black bodies and blood-red eyes. They surrounded Solranous and the others , leaving a 100-foot circle between them.
"Are we capable of such a thing? Yes. That should be apparent by now." A deep, hissing voice stated.
They looked up to see the mutant Solranous coiled on the roof, standing next to what appeared to be a normal human. Next to the human was another one of the aliens, but this one was rather... unique. It had a hunched, humanoid stature and a head that resembled a cross between a Xenolith's and some sort of insect. One of its arms was nothing but a long, jagged blade, while the other had three thick claws. The 'human' merely stood there with his arms crossed, watching the others with interest.
The Solranous one 'grinned', revealing nasty-looking fangs. The other aliens on the ground all hissed and clicked in anticipation, jerking forward and snapping at the air. The 'human' then rose a hand, and stated,
"Kill 'em, copy 'em, whatever."
The three on the roof then backed up somewhat, leaving Solranous and the others to the soon-to-be massacure. The aliens all rushed forward in the hopes of brutality, but before any of them could blink, Mortis, Cynder, Onyste and Kisara were all be carried through the air and deposited on a nearby roof lightly. The robot from before stated,
"Stay up here and out of sight."
It then lept down and rushed forward, breaking through several of the things.

Solranous let out a jet of flames and made it into a barrier in front of him, before charging through the alien ranks, hearing their shrieks of pain as those that survived the fire were cut down in half by Kizoku. The dragon pulled up, flying above the rooftops and barraging the flight capable ones first with his Spirit Rockets, at the very least damaging them, before moving on to other evolved alien creatures.
Cynder, meanwhile, grimaced at the sight of so many blood thirsty monsers.
'I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'll need your help if they come after us.' Cynder thought, knowing the Hollow would hear and that Solranous was too busy to notice it.
'Sooooo, Cyndy final askes me to help? you know I'll only want to get one thing when you owe me then.
'I should have known you would use this to try and make me give up my body. Why do you even care anymore about it? It's already 'technically' yours right now, what more could you want from me!?'
'... You don't get it do you? Maybe you can get Solranous to explain once I'm done. Alright, I promise not to hurt anyone you care for as friends. Alright? Now can I have it when you owe me a favor?'
Cynder mentally sighed, 'Only to get the Hollow off my case for a few days, only to get her off my case' she kept telling herself, 'Fine...'
'Alright then, I'll lend my strength, and then you give me the body for about five days.'
...That was when Cynder realized she made a mistake...
She didn't confirm how long before the deal was made!!! The black wyrmling seriously felt like kicking herself for that.
'Teehee, your loss, my gain.'
'I hate you'
'I hate you, too'
((Azure: *Laughing at those last two lines* Oh come on, you had to see that coming! *hears a snort, and turns to find an angry-looking Spyro. Spyro: Your a monster for making her suffer like that, you know? *starts beating up and mauling Azure* Azure: AH! OWOWOW! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!))

((Evihs: *laughs at Azure, then gets whipped in ankle by Mortis* ow! You little-))
The mech seemed to be humming something as it ripped through the ranks of the alien attackers. It then pulled out a pod-looking device, which in turn opened up into a rifle-looking device. The machine's eye flashed as he began to spin around, bouncing around the area as the aliens randomly exploded.
"It's my tuuur-huuurn to fly! Father be with me tonight! Oooooooh I'm right on target!" The robot sang.
Meanwhile, the 'human' on the roof opposite of Cynder and the others was watching Solranous, his gaze occasionally wandering over to Cynder. He smirked as he scratched his chin, two red eyes shining out through the darkness. His attention was brought back when one of the robot's attack ripped through his shoulder. The man merely gave it an annoyed look before the damage repaired completely.
"I wonder... if he's worth it..." The man muttered, glancing at Solranous.

Solranous glowered at the aliens below him, and cast a nervous glance in the direction of the 'human' who apparently held authority over these creatures. He didn't know if this was just a ploy, so he focused on the creatures more, blasting them with more flames before finally being ticked off enough to go for the 'big guns'
Solranous' Bankai release statement rang through the air as he transformed, sweeping Star Burst Flares to damage his foes more easily.
Cynder's claws dug into the roof in anticipation.
'I don't like this uneasy feeling I'm getting... I REALLy, don't like it...'

The human's eyes suddenly widened, and he slowly broke into a nasty grin.
"I'd say he's worth it... but I'll wait till they wear him down a bit more." He muttered, scratching his chin.
One of the aliens that resembled a humanoid crab-thing jumped on Solranous's back, biting into his shoulder with nasty-looking mandibles. Solranous began to feel... groggier and groggier by the second as the thing drained his life-force. While he was distracted, others began to do the same thing, hoping to overwhelm him.
"BUSTER... PUNCH!"
Half of the aliens on Solranous suddenly spattered all over the area as the mech stopped next to Solranous, his arm fully extended. He then whipped around and kicked a few of them off of the dragon before several other of the aliens tackled the mecha and pinned him down.
Meanwhile, the 'human' was now standing on the roof Kisara and the others were; in fact, he was standing next to them wtahcing the fight.

Suddenly another group of alien blobs exploded by an invisible force. A humanoid like machine then lands ontop of some rubble, his arms crossed. Light shines off of the gem like object in his forehead.
"You aren't going to screw this place up you little aliens." the machine barks.
He jumps into the air and then fires a blast of orange energy from the lion's head on his chest. And cause a large amount of the aliens to exploded with tremendous force.
GaiGar lands right next to the newer machine, his claws extended over his hands. He glances at the machine and speaks in a commanding voice, "Behind you!!"
GaiGar then grabs and jumps off of the other machine's shoulder and slices five alien crabs that were jumping at the two. The King of Braves lands onto the ground, dust flying into the air and his eyes glowing even more fierce. "Just too many damn interruptions...."

"Sh*t..." Solranous growled, not liking the fact that he was just sapped of some of his strength. His will to live kept him going though, as he landed and started carving away at the little critters by the dozens.
Kisara suddenly jumped back as the 'human' appeared next to her, pulling out her staff, both Onyste and Cynder started hissing at him, disturb by the feeling they got around him, and Onyste looked like she was about to send a mag blast to send him toppling off the roof.
"Who the hell are you!?" Ksara growled.

The man was about 6'1, and had scruffy black, almost shoulder-length hair. He wore a black jacket over a gray shirt, and black jeans as well. His iris's were a deep blood-red, and his teeth were strangely pointed. He smirked, revealing a fang, as he glanced at the four while still facing the battle below.
"I'm not sure you want to know..." He stated.
He then turned to face them directly, and he folded his arms.
"You can call me Khimera, if you'd like." He added.
Back a the fight scene, the large robot brushed himself off, nodding at GaiGar in thanks. He then raised his rifle-esque gun and fired off several more shots. At this rate, there were very few of the creatures left, roughly 30 or so. The jet-mecha laughed, then attached his rifle to his back as it trnasformed back into its pod shape. He reached for the shield-shape on his back and pulled out a 7-foot long sword, illuminated by a green line running down the blade. The mech started dashing forward, cutting through the aliens furiously.
Khimera scowled as he looked at the remainder of the aliens, then sighed, shrugging.
"Eh, we can make more."
He then turned to the group of four nearby, and his hands twitched.
"Now, which of you has some decent traits?" He asked.
He glanced at the two wyrmlings and Onyste, then shrugged.
"Meh. Why not?"
He was suddenly standing behind Onyste, then grabbed her tail for a few seconds. His arm 'pulsed', and he released Onyste before grabbing Cynder and Mortis by the throat, his arms eventually doing the same thing as before. He dropped them carelessly, then walked back over to his original spot and watched the two robots and emerald dragon do battle.

Solranous growled, something had happened to the ones he considered friends, and as soon as these aliens were no more, he would kill that 'human.' Khimera, his name, the dragon managed to glance from his mind only a short while ago.
The dragon bellowed as his sword was growing in length from the reiatsu channeled into it. He swept at the aliens, controlling it so that it would part and go around Cerberus and GaiGar when it came to them, and finished at least twenty of the remaining aliens before his sword shrank back down, and the dragon panted, that life drain was taking a toll on him...
He wasn't sure how much longer he could keep going.
Kisara stared in panic between Onyste, Mortis, and Cynder, the latter most beginning to resist whatever effects where used against her as she and the Hollow, for once, teamed up together to fight whatever invaded their body.
"W-What... What did you do?"

Khimera's leg was bouncing in anticipation as he grinned at the weary Solranous. He caught what Kisara had said, and replied,
"If anyone here should be worried, it should be me for absorbing the DNA of such weaklings."
He sighed, patting his hand on his non-jumpy thigh.
"There's no negative side-effects against those I use it on, aside from a little fatigue." He added.
One of the few remaining creatures, one that resembled a cross between a psider and a humanoid lizard, rushed forward and bit down on Solranous's right shoulder, mdraining yet more energy from the dragon before it was slain by a well-aimed sword thrust from Cerberus. As the dragon panted, Khimera grinned, then jumped off of the building and slammed Solranous into a wall by the throat, fragmenting it as he concentrated on the dragon.
Khimera's arm pulsed again, and he released Solranous and backed up.
"Alright boys, let's go. We got what we wanted." Khimera commanded.
Khimera raised his hand, which suddenly became coated in green scales, and the fingers became claws. He aimed a claw at Solranous and announced,
"Expect to see us again."
His hand reverted to normal as the other aliens departed, but Khimera jumped into the air and landed next to Kisara and the others again. He then stated,
"We are the Scourge."
After that, Khimera abruplty vanished, as if using a Flash-Step. Cerberus scratched his head in confusion, then shrugged.

Solranous never heard any of it, he had passed out from the robbing of his genetic code, and his Bankai had resealed. His breaths came in short, ragged bursts.
Kisara was beside herself with worry, glance from Cynder to Mortis to Onyste and finally to Solranous.
"Oh no.. What... What's going to happen now?"
