His muzzle is slightly rectangular; he has a pair of small, spiraling horns on the back of his head. Below the horns, Shive has a mane of red-orange, blade-like hair. He has a short tail that sprouts from the base of his spine, just above his 'butt'. His eyes have yellow-green iris's and black, round pupils that dilate into slits when he gets angered. He wears a dark-purple armor that (if inspected closely) seems to be covered in scales. The armor covers everything but his tail, wings, hands, and head.
Abilities:
Breath Weapon- Shive can exhale a potent stream of green acid from his maw every minute or so. The acid can eat through steel within a few seconds. Shive is immune to his own acid, as well as (almost) any other type of acid.
Super Strength- Shive can easily lift up to 8 tons of weight. However, his reflexes are rather poor.
Spells- Shive has a limited arsenal of spells at his disposal, most of which serve for combat. The list as shown:
Razor Wind- By channeling intense wind pressure around Ragnarok’s blade, Shive can fire off a 10-foot long, crescent-shaped wave of said wind. The blade can cut through almost anything, and has a max range of 80 feet before it starts dissipating. Requires a two-second prep time; can be used three times a day.
Burst Pyre- Shive can discharge a sphere of compact fire from his extended claw. The sphere is concussive enough to knock a hefty opponent over, and explodes with force equal to two hand grenades; however, the spell can be held longer for a stronger effect. Can be used three times a day.
Ice Javelin- Shive can fire a 6-foot long, spear-shaped bolt of ice and cryogenic mist from his outstretched claw. The bolt is sharp enough to punch through concrete, and will begin freezing anything it touches for up to 2 minutes. Can be used three times per day.
Earthbolt- At will, Shive can slam his fist into the ground, sending a bolt of seismic force through the ground in a straight line. This attack is visible by the line of small explosions of rock/dirt racing towards an opponent. When it contacts something, it will explode with enough force to rip a concrete wall open. Usable three times a day.
Prestidigitation- A spell usable at will, Prestidigitation allows the caster to perform simple tricks such as changing color, cleaning/soiling an object, making small, crude objects out of thin air, chill/warm something, produce a candle-sized flame, make small gusts, etc. Any changes (such as the color alteration) are permanent until dismissed.
Bloodrage- Three times per day, Shive can enter a state of such unbridled anger that he literally undergoes a minor transformation. His testosterone levels skyrocket(granting him more speed), his muscles increase in size and density (giving him another two ton’s worth of strength), his scales become coated in his own blood, of which both hardens his scales and becomes corrosive, he produces a pheromone that targets the amygdala (portion of brain that controls fear) of those who are exposed to it, up to a radius of 50 feet. Finally, Shive’s skeletal structure has spurred forth spikes long enough to pierce his scales, and durable enough to assist in combat. This rage lasts for roughly ten minutes at a time (unless he's forced out of it), and Shive’s usually exhausted afterwards. He can’t determine between friend or foe in this state.
Detect Magic- Shive can detect any sort of magic within his range of sight, as well as determine what type of magic it is.
Endurance- Having been hardened by many a battle over the past 100+ years, Shive's become quite the hardy combatant. His tolerance for pain is surprising, and his skeletal structure has hardened to surprising strength, both of which make fighting him a bit of a challenge.
Personality: To put it in a nutshell, Shive is, well... insane, doing self-destructive things in combat just to do more damage to his opponent, and breaking into mad fits of laughing and bloodshed during such fights. And, while not terribly dim, his lack of a high IQ is a bit noticeable. He's got a voracious appetite as large as his sense of loyalty towards friends, and will just about eat anything (usually things that threaten said friends). He seems easily depressed, and very lacking in self-confidence. Finally, he's surprisingly romantic, if not borderline-clingy.
History: Shive was born and raised in the Realm of Outcasts, among his fellow dragonkin in a mid-sized village of them with his parents and increasingly-jealous brother. A series of hardships had found Shive throughout a lot of his life, including the death of his mother, first love, and father, all at the hands of his derranged brother (and in that order, but not together), gaining an evil spiritual half (a Hollow), and being hurled into our Material Plane after things were finally starting to look up for him. Speaking of which, since he's gotten here, things did start to get much better after a few more bad things, such as making his new, current friends, gaining a new love interest(s), and gaining a surprising amount of power. Nowadays, he can be found sleeping in the Abandoned District, hunting in the forests, sunning at the Cliffs, or making out with his significant other(s) at the Hot Springs.
Equipment/Belongings:
Ragnarok- A nine-foot long broadsword with a black, jagged guard, this blade weighs roughly 100 pounds or so and is almost as strong as titanium. The very core of the blade has been hollowed out, and in it is about a fluid ounce of mercury. This causes the blade to have much greater impact when swung.
-Shive can charge Ragnarok with one of four elemental energies to alter the very weapon. Each form is only about 7-½ feet long from blade-tip to handle. Listed below are Ragnarok’s four forms and each form’s abilities.
Fire- Assuming the form of a greatsword, the blade has been tinted a red-orange in color, and both edges are serrated. The guard resembles an open flame made of black metal, and a single ruby is set into the center. In this form, Ragnarok’s blade is constantly heated by an unknown source, giving it twice as much cutting potential. Also, once per day, Shive can focus his Pyre Blast through the blade, firing off a swarm of baseball-sized fireballs, each with 1/4th the detonation force of a grenade.
Earth- In the shape of a broadsword, the blade has a slight green tint to it, and the blade seems thicker than the normal broadsword. The guard is basically a gray-brown octagon with raised sides, and a spike-like triangle juts out of each diagonal side. In this form, Ragnarok is harder than diamond, and can withstand insane amounts of extreme temperatures and damage. Also, once per day, Shive can focus his Earthbolt through the blade, creating the same general effect but in a wider line, and said attack emits rising shafts of seismic energy as well.
Water- Now shaped like a falchion, Ragnarok’s wide blade has been tinted a sky-blue color, and the guard is composed of a dark-blue, thick, wavy ‘line’ representing waves. In this form, Ragnarok . Also, once per day, Shive can focus his Ice Javelin through the blade, firing it as the same general attack, but 200% larger. Upon impact, the shard will explode, shattering into hundreds of smaller ice spears that have the same general effect as the original attack.
Air- Resembling a longsword now, the narrow blade has been tinted an emerald green, while the guard now resembles two conical tornadoes pushing against one another (tips facing hilt), and has been tinted a gray-green in color. In this form, Ragnarok is completely unhindered in movement by any effect, whether mundane or magical. Also, he can focus his Razor Wind through the blade, firing it off as a gust of wind filled with small, silver motes of light. The attack functions much like the original spell, but on a much wider scale, and generates winds up to 300 mph.
Light- Resembling a broadsword in most respects, the blade has turned a bright, polished silver, and the guard has turned into a white ‘sunburst’, a circle with evenly-placed spikes of varying lengths. In this form, Ragnarok constantly gives off a light equal to that of a large torch (roughly 20 feet), and those within the light can see anything incorporeal, ethereal, invisible, etc. Also, once per day, he can charge a brighter light into the blade and swing it, encasing the sword in a 20-foot long ‘sheath’ of harmful light that can cut through nigh anything, and will particularly harm those of evil aspect.
Dark- Now appearing with a thin, jagged blade, Ragnarok’s guard is shaped almost like a ‘black sun’, several tendrils on either side leading away from an almost oval-shaped base. In this form, Shive is 50% harder to track. He’s resistant against telepathy, all his movements are twice as silent, and his general outline seems somewhat blurred and distorted, making him a bit harder to see. Once per day, the wielder can discharge a sustained bolt of crackling black energy, of wich damages living beings much more than inorganic objects, and the damage it inflicts tends to persist for twice as long as it normally should. Said bolt is powerful enough to burn through a bulky, well-armored creature.
Ether- In this form, Ragnarok’s general outline is that of a basic broadsword; however, the coloration is the real eye-catcher. The guard looks as if it were transparent, and someone had trapped a miniature galaxy in its confines. The blade itself is a constantly-shimmering gray, with various small motes of ‘starlight’ running up its length. In this form, the wielder is immune to poison/disease, bears no need to breath, can control his own blood flow, and has a minor regeneration. Once per day, Shive can produce up to five spheres of silver-gray energy to ‘orbit’ behind him. At will, he can launch one of these spheres by ‘stabbing’ it with Ragnarok’s tip, then launching it via sword-swipes. This energy is like none other currently known, being as it can affect all types of matter, even those on the Ethereal Plane. Each bolt has the strength to rip clean through 7 feet of solid rock, but each attack has a slight backlash on it, hence why each bolt should be used sparingly (although all five can be used at once, which is moderately damaging to Shive)
Armor- Shive's armor is made from the hide of a type of dragon known as a 'deep dragon', a subterranean species. The armor allows Shive to resist fire up to 400 degrees, and cold up to -80 degrees. At will, Shive can cause this armor to disappear, a ring of the same color appearing on his right hand. He can summon and dismiss the armor at will.
