Erika smiled brightly as she walked down the path in city central park. It was nice to see the grass and the trees...but it was so sad. They were so few, choked by the buildings, and concrete, and men. But Erikka still smiled. Soon all the world would be beautiful. Soon, it would be a Garden of Eden.
In fact, the plants seemed to grow stronger as she neared them. The grass grew greener and brighter and longer. Trees grew fuller, and maybe even taller. Flowers opened up, dying plants were reborn, and all the world was new again. But that wasn't all, new and strange plants seemed to appear. What looked like strange, beautiful, deadly roses began to appear amongst those that were there before. New giant plants that no one had ever seen before appeared in the man-made lake. And some sort of strange vines began to cover all of the benches and streetlights and other things in the park. Soon. Soon it would all be clean again.
Erika sat down at one of the park benches overlooking the lake and began to bask in the sun, smiling. She was enjoying the beauty she was helping to create. She was also enjoying the excited chatter of those people in the park, amazed at the sudden transformations taking place.
If they liked those, they would love what was coming next.

Garrett was busy crouching down in front of one of the fly-trap looking plants, staring at it in awe and surprise. The thing suddenly snapped at his finger, and he yelped, tumbling backwards and rising to his feet, scowling at it.
"Obviously.... these plants are new..." He muttered.
He edged away from the flytrap-like plant, only to trip over a vine, cursing. He rose to his feet and grumbled, growling,
"I should probably tell the others about this... it's making me uncomfortable. But at least they're just plants, and not..."
He suddenly shuddered, then shook the image out of his mind. He paused, then glanced over at the petite Japanese girl who was sitting on one of the benches, seemingly unfazed by this abnormal transformation of the park. He cocked an eyebrow, then shrugged.
"Meh. She's probably the one doing it." He muttered to himself.
These plants are starting to scare the hell out of me though... He thought.

"Well... this is certainly knew, I wonder what, or who, is doing all of this..." the beetle named Chiggar asked as she carefully trudged around the newer, flytrap like plants. The fact that all of this happened perked her intrest enough to make her come to the city on one of those very rare occasions.
She spotted the Japanese woman, noting her unsurprised look as she gazed at the plants that sprung out of no where. Slowly, the alien insect trudged towards her.
"Um... do you happen to know how these plants grew so quickly and look so... odd from what I usually see here? They... They look similar to varieties that would appear on my home world, but the differences let me know they are not what they first appeared to be to me."

"This is my garden." Erika answered, and then turning to look at the thing that asked said, "I'm going to turn this whole city into a new Garden of Eden. Oh, it will be wonderful! Green everywhere!"
Then small, thin vines crawled down her arm and between her fingers, where they came together and twisted forming a rose in her hand.
"Unfortunately," She said, as her perky smile fell from her face, "a lot of people are probably going to die. But sacrifices must be made."

As Garrett was busy trying to untangle himself from a cluster of vines, he heard what she had said, and abruptly stopped. He ripped the vines apart and off of himself, and asked in an extremely cold tone,
"Excuse me?"
He gave Erikka an extremely scathing glare as the two lumps on his back 'pulsed'.
"Nonononononono.... I don't think so." He stated.

Erika gave Garret a truly surprised look.
"I'm sorry, but you don't think what? What's wrong?" As she asked, the flower disappeared from her hand, but the vines stayed, and got just a little thicker.

"WHAT THE F*CK!?" Chiggar screeched, startling Erika.
"Look, I like how you can make plants grow with no labor at all, but how many innocent people are you willing to kill to keep this going!? I have to agree with my friend here, I won't let you kill innocents!"
Meanwhile, Cynder had also been drawn to the fact that there were many more plants in the area.
"Wow... it's pretty." the wyrmling said to herself.
'TOO-MUCH-GREEN! ERK!' Obviously, Hollow Cynder didn't agree. 'I'd like an order of dreary blackness right about now.'
'Shut up, no one cares what you think.' Cynder replied back, 'punching' the Hollow.
'How rude, then again, I can't blame you.'
That caused Cynder to pause.
'...Was that a subtle trace of sympathy I heard?' she asked, not believeing what she was hearing.
'...Y-you must need to get your ears checked.'
Why the hell did I say it with that kind of tone?
...
...Is she doing something to me???

Garrett narrowed his eyes, and replied,
"Look, I can see where you're coming from; we humans have f*cked our planet up good. But you can't just wipe out an entire city's worth of people! That's basically genocide! There's people I know and care about in that city, and I WILL NOT let them be senselessly killed."
He clenched his fists as his back pulsed again, the Guyver unit ready and willing to be activated.

Erika stood up and looked around at the city; it's giant buildings gleaming in the sun, even through the haze of pollution.
"Senseless? Their deaths won't be senseless." She said, opening her arms, gesturing to the city around her. "They are sacrifices that have to be made. But their spirits will join with mine, and their bodies will join with the earth, and provide new nutrients to help my growth."
Then she closed her eyes and shook her head. "I'm sorry you don't understand yet, but there's nothing you can do to stop me. If you are one who survives, you will see the beauty that I create. You will see me make it clean; not just this city, but earth. I will cover earth with my roots, fill the sky with my branches. Those that survive will know me as their earth mother. You will see. It will be a new Eden. A place a of perfection and beauty and peace. It will be worth the sacrifice. I promise. Now..."
As she finished speaking, the ground started to shake. More and more vines began to appear, now in the streets: wrecking cars and throwing traffic. City park was quickly becoming a dense mass of plant matter. And it was expanding outward rapidly toward the rest of the city.

Suddenly vines erupted into flames. They melted from an unknown source and disintergrated into ash. Out of the flames, a machine stood, its "wings" out and a circle of orange and red flaming energy behind them.
The machine held a bright red beam sword that sparked with fire. The machine was totally unaffected by the flames and pointed its finger at Erika.
"I've had enough of you!" He barks, "You will not hurt innocent people anymore!!" His hand began to burn with orange energy. The mech's entire body began to course with flaming energy as his rage was boiling up.
"I as long as this hand of mine burns with passion, I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT THE INNOCENT!!!" The machine roars. He swings the sword behind him and then rockets at Erika at full speed.
The energy sword then grew even more powerful and grew in size. The "blade" sliced through the ground and made it explode with pressure.
"ERUPTING....BURNING....SLASH!!!"
The burning machine then rose the blade up and sliced through a gigantic amount of vines and sliced through Erika's shoulder. Blood from the vines and Erika fly into the air and then fade into ash as the enormous amount of heat grew in the area. Hundreds of the vines ignited into a fireball as a recoil of the machine's attack.

Erika got up slowly as the huge slash in her body healed. Then she she looked up at the machine. There wasn't humanity in her eyes anymore: there was malice.
"Be grateful that I'm going to kill you, and not my son."
She extended her vines and grabbed his sword, and the forearm that was holding it. With a small rumble vines ripped from the ground, holding the machine's leg as his forearm was removed and sword bent. The vines released his legs as Erika punched with her other arm, hitting him him with another flurry of vines sending him skidding back.
"Why do you have to hurt my garden? All I want is to make the earth green and pure again, and YOU'RE GETTING IN THE WAY!" She yelled, even more massive vines erupting than before, this time some with toothy pods and massive thorns. "LEAVE NOW! I WANT YOU OUT OF MY GARDEN!"

((*rubs temples*))
Garrett scowled, throwing his arms to the side as the Guyver suit was summoned, creating a field of energy that destroyed anything that it came into contact with. The field dissapated and the suit was enabled, the twin air-spouts releasing a blast of air as Garrett rose off of his feet. He cracked his knuckles, getting pale under the helmet.
Okay, don't get knocked out, don't get knocked out... He thought.
He activated his high-frequency blades and hacked any incoming plants apart, blasting the others witha barrage of Head Beams. He let out a furious scream as one of the toothy pods bit into his leg, and he smashed the 'head' in with his foot. He turned towards Erikka as he reached for his chest plates, then shook his head.
"No... I doubt that'd help... she'd probably just regenerate..."
He shrugged, then ran straight at her, muttering,
"I hate hurting pretty women, buuut... I'll probably get my ass kicked, so might as well get a hit in anyway."
He somersaulted into the air before bringing his foot crashing back down on the back of Erikka's head, sending her flying forward as Garrett landed in her place. He glanced down at his foot, and kicked a flytrap-like plant. He fired off another barrage of Head Beams at more of the plants, muttering,
"damnit, why doesn't this suit have any fire-based attacks?!"

((Hey, I am a firm believer of consequences. Speaking of which...))
Erika got up again. Vines and loose plant matter covered part of her body.
"When I said to leave and that you can't stop me, you just didn't get it, did you? What do I have to do, get my son down here? Level the whole city right now? I can do both. But I'm reasonable. I'll give you one last chance. Just stop. If you stop and just let me grow, let me make this place clean, I won't have to call him. I won't have to change. It could still be a peaceful transition. Please, for your sake. Stop."

Garrett was about to respond when he stopped, a large shadow passing overhead. A low droning sound filled the area, and Garrett started swaying under the harmonics, trying to stay awake. For on a nearby building was a giant bipeadal insect, the same that had helped defeat the astral beast Detoragas last month. Daraku was staring at the spreading foliage with interest and suspicion, cocking his head and making a few clicking sounds every now and then.
The insect scanned the forest, his multi-faceted eyes spying Erikka. His jerking head-motions stopped as he stared at the foliage-covered entity, and he slowly clicked once. He rubbed his claws against his antannae, then bounced over and landed gently in the forest, the resulting shockwave sending Garret flying (and who happened to be asleep). Daraku bent down and wiggled his antannae at the foliage, then clicked again, scuttling about and 'smelling' the various plants.
This foliage seems enjoyable... but strange for such a planet. The alien-insect amalagation thought.

"Yummy." Erikka said, seeing the insect. "But not yet. Now you're a nuisance." Sighing, she continued. "I'm sorry, truly I am, but all of you, and now this thing, are truly becoming bothersome. I need time right now. Time to grow. So my son will have to entertain you. He'll be here shortly."
She smiled softly, almost sadly, and then just walked away from Garret, Chiggar, and the machine and into the center of the lake, where more plant growth began to grow off of her, and join with the plants in the water and the ground.
