The armored bounty hunter known as Neresa sighed as she came to a stop by the crystal-clear river, and promptly sat on a large, flat rock. Removing her helmet and shaking loose her strange antannae-hair, she detached the load from her back- the inanimate shell that was once O'Malley's upper torso. She watched the sun rise, the light reflecting in her multi-faceted yet somehow still human eyes, then glanced back irritably at her 'precious cargo'. The lifeless, cycloptic eye, the one she'd known since their first meeting on a distant asteroid mining operation, and the eye she'd come to learn to hate... was finally out. She gave a sneering grin as she punched the machine in its face, cracking the eye and denting the entire front in as she hissed,
"Look who's on top now, prick. Looks like you just got too rusty over time, pun completely intended. Ah, it's so satisfying to get paid for finishing off assholes who caused me so much trouble!"
She paused, then lowere dher legs, as they'd shot into the air in her sudden fit of excitement. Her face took on a bit of a sullen look as she added in a mutter,
"But... still. I don't know if it's a good idea to give Rathe your AI... what with why he needs it and all... ... hmph. When were you even near Lehon? ... ah well. Rathe gets his coordinates, and I get my paycheck. All that matters..."
She scowled, then slammed her armored fist on the droid's shoulder, denting it inwards as well as she snarled,
"Ahh, why the hell am I talking to some obsolete piece of garbage that can't even listen anymore?!"
She snorted, then laid back on the rock as she roughly shoved O'Malley's 'corpse' off of her resting spot.
"Coordinates here were sent yesterday night... they should be here with an hour or two. May as well catch some z's." She muttered, folding her hands underneath her head she she stared at the sky.

Before the hunter could even get her eyes closed, a systematic rumbling, like a set of foot steps.
"Seela, you sure you saw it go this way?" Chiggar asked.
"Definitely!" the Rydrake responded, still airborne. The two spectrobes came to the river bank, Seela nodded and blinked, spotting the insectoid being. "That's it..."
Chiggar growled aggressively, spotting O'Malley's corspe, "And just like you said, there he is, the worst for wear..."

Neresa scowled as she watched Seela come into view, and at Chiggar's growl, sighed aloud and pulled herself back up into a sitting position. Swinging around to face them, she rested a booted foot on O'Malley's lifeless head, pressing it into the ground slightly as she muttered,
"This planet's full of annoying people, isn't it..."
Upon noting Chiggar's insectoid appearance, Neresa abruptly frowned, recalling her past. Her fists clenched as the Corona Spectrobe reminded her so of the alien insects used to create her and multiple others for some damned super-soldier experiment. Now in a severely irritated mood, she snapped,
"Who the hell are you two, and what is it you want?!"
Unconsciously her armored foot pressed O'Malley's face deeper into the muddy ground as she scowled at the two beings of light before her.

Chiggar's response was to blast Neresa with a cannon shot, throwing her away from O'Malley's corspe. Seela rushed over, picking the droid up with her jaws and hopping back behind Chiggar and setting him down again, at which point the Corona Spectrobe resumed bombarding the alien hunter with several cannon shots, each one producing a massive bang on contact.
"You think we can pull back now?" Seela asked her fiery comrade.
"Go ahead if you want... but I'm gonna make sure this bitch dies..." Chiggar growled back, eyes narrowed angrily, not breaking her bombardment at all.
Seela blinked, surprised that Chiggar was so furious when it came to killing Neresa, "He was a good friend of yours?" the Rydrake wondered.
"A friend at the very least, one I respected... Seeing this happen to him has pissed me off..."
"Then I'll fight with you as soon as there is an opening..." Seela growled, blades spreading as she stood nearby.

"OW! OWOWOWOWOW!! CUT IT OUT! WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" Neresa screeched, skittering about as soon as she got her footing.
She lashed her left arm upwards, the box-like weapon on her forearm sending out focused waves of harmonic energy square into the Villakroma's face... sending chunks of chitin and luminous blood spraying into the air upon contact. With Chiggar's face now resembling cracked, bloody porcelain, Neresa used the opportunity to drive the allies apart with a quick barrage from her repeating grenade launcher, the explosions kicking up more than just dirt and rock. As the two Spectrobes skidded away from eachother, Neresa’s eyes took on a purplish tinge as she peered through the airborne debris, and immediately spotted her ‘precious cargo’.
Smirking, she lashed her left arm out at the devastated hunk of machinery, sending a long cable of metal links ending in a sharp point shooting out at her paycheck’s prerequisite. The spear-like end stabbed into what was left of O’Malley’s torso, and with a grunt and a heave, Neresa sent the defunct robot hurtling back toward her, only to ground it behind her with a sudden upward sweep of her leg, followed closely by a firm stomp. O’Malley’s head broke off of his torso with a distinct snapping noise, and Neresa shrugged, muttering,
“S’okay, just need the head… YOU TWO, on the other hand, HAVE ANNOYED ME. I can’t honestly think of any reason for your attacking me, then stealing my property- other than, perhaps, you both have an obsession with shiny objects. But I digress, you can’t have it. I NEED IT… TO GET PAID. I doubt you know what that means, but it’s probably beyond your tiny brains anyway. So, either leave, or I -will- kill you.”
Her gauntleted hands twitched as she kicked her helmet, the chain of explosions caused by Chiggar having knocked it to her current location. She firmly snapped it back on as she readied as stance, in case the creatures so strange to her decided to go AWOL again.
