[Talon]

Evihs landed at the center of the island, panting. He glanced from side to side as another spurt of blood erupted from his stomach, and he grunted. He stood straight up, hoping no one would find him here.

"I'll just let my Hollow conscious take over for a little bit while I deal with this 'problem'." He muttered.

His eyes widened, and the body shuddered. Evihs's spiritual self appeared in a familiar setting, the obsidian ruins by the red river.

Shive's inner spiritual realm.

Here, Evihs looked just like Shive, but his scales were a shiny gray, his mane a metallic red-purple. He wore white armor, and his facial features were a bit more feral. He glanced around to see Shive standing up lifelessly, Hakaisha curled around him defensively. She turned and hissed at him, but he merely grabbed her by the face and growled,

"Shut up."

She then disintergrated, her particles flowing into Evihs's arm. Evihs turned Shive around and slammed his fist into the dragonkin's face.

"KNOCK IT OFF! I ALREADY HAVE THE BODY, SO JUST GIVE IN!" Evihs screamed.

Shive jumped back to his feet and nailed Evihs dead in the jaw, hissing,

"NO."

Evihs scowled and kicked Shive in the chest, grabbing him by the throat as he fell backwards.

"But Shive! Your friends want you to give up too! They hate you!" He hissed, eyes widening.

"SHUT UP! I know Thanatos does, but the others don't!"

Evihs threw Shive backwards as multiple shapes emerged from out of nowhere. Shive's eyes widened as the shapes became apparent.

One of them was Solranous, another Myrr, another Mazinkaiser, the fourth Kisara, and the fifth Shining Gundam. The other three were others Shive knew all to well...

One was a large brown dragon, spanning a good 70 feet long and 40 feet at the shoulder. His wings seemed small and underdeveloped. The second was a female dragonkin with coppery-red hair and tan-brown scales, just like Shive's. Her eyes were a deep green. And the third was a certain silver-scaled dragon anthro with a metallic blue-gray mane.

Shive blanched, then shook it off.

"They're j-just illusions! They can't fool me!" He yelled.

"Shive, you disgust me. Even I could beat my dark half. You're just a bitchy little worm." 'Solranous' stated.

"SHUT UP!" Shive screamed.

"Shive, the only reason I f*cked you was because I thought you might be good. You weren't. There's no way in hell I could love you." Myrr stated.

"SHUT IT! YOU'RE NOT REAL!"

"Shive, you're the worst fighter I've ever seen. You got your ass handed to you by your BROTHER, one of the weakest people I know. But not as weak as you, it seems." Mazinkaiser stated.

Shive clutched at the sides of his head, growling.

"Shive, you make small children cry at how revolting you are. You try to help people, but you just screw it up more thn before." Kisara stated.

Shive doubled over, hissing,

"Go away... you're not real..."

"Shive, you're the most dishonorable bastard I know. You let a Hollow take you over, who in turn killed innocent people. I can't stand to look at you." Shining Gundam stated.

Shive had his hands over his ears, but it did him no good. He could still hear them.

"Shive, you are the biggest dissapointment a father could have as a son. You let me get killed by your brother. You've failed at everything." The brown dragon stated.

Shive bit his lip, still doubled over.

"Shive, your father's right. You've dissapointed me from day one. You're still a novice at spellcasting, and you can't hold a relationship to save your life." The female dragonkin stated.

Shive's eyes started to water over as his thrashings slowed.

"Shive, you're the worst goddamn person in existance. You let the only person who ever actually loved you die at the hands of your own brother. To think I died for you..." Sevra stated.

Shive collapsed onto his knees. That did it. He doubled over as far as he could and started weeping piteously. The phantoms started chanting,

"Give up. Give up. Give up. You have nothing to live for."

Evihs stood a few yards away, smirking. Shive would be broken within the next five minutes...

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Myrr flew overhead of the island, both her and Xeno-Myrr having a hunch about Shive and taking the chance to try it. The half dragon noticed Evihs' form standing still almost as if he were a statue.

'I hope father can hear this, I've found him, but I'll need help, what with Evihs being a Hollow and me lacking a Zanpo-'

From where ever Solranous was, his eyes snapped open and out of concentration, hearing Myrr's thoughts. She had found Evihs? He had to move. Now.

The half dragon was cut off when Solranous appeared at her side. Now she could get answers.

"Father... What happened?"

"..." Solranous either didn't hear her, or ignored it, for he didn't reply. He looked away and then replied, "I don't want to say what happened. However, it seems we still have a chance. Shive is still fighting back, even against impossible odds, much like I have. We must help him... If I could that is."

"Why is that?"

"Shive is being tormented by illusions of us and his other friends. He has fallen into a state of depression so deep that i cannot save him from it. Only his current lover can do that now." Solranous explaind.

"How am I going to help if he's trapped in his... You aren't... are you? Oh God you are, aren't you!? You're going to bring me into that mental dive with you!" Myrr screeched, visibly more pale.

"It's the only chance we have! You're the only one who can save him now! Turn the tables around, what if it was you possessed by the Hollow and trapped in your own mind? Would he not go in after you?"

"...He would, you're right, I have to be strong." Myrr realized. She took a deep breath to calm her jittering nerves, and spoke to words: "I'm ready."

Solranous nodded, taking his daughter's hand.

"It's time. Time to bring our friend back to the light. We'll try, and if we truely believe, we'll succeed," Solranous concluded, as his telepathy extended to Evihs' body, reaching in to the dragonkin's mind much like Solranous had done back in the Xenomorph invasion, though this time, they didn't pass out.

"Geez, this gives me a sense of Dejavu. 'Course, I didn't have my Zanpoktou with me." Solranous whispered as he and Myrr landed next to Shive. He glanced at Myrr and whispered, "Best of luck to you, I'll keep Evihs distracted." The dragon teleported as Myrr knelt down next to the sobbing dragonkin.

"Shive, please, don't give up. you mean the world to me, don't listen to those fakes, I'll always love you no matter what tries to seperate us," she said to the dragonkin, wrapping her arms around Shive's neck.

Meanwhile, Solranous, having the Shinagami outfit do to being in a spiritual realm, growled at Evihs.

"Even in your host's mind can you not escape me. This time, I'll finish what I started." As he said this, Solranous prepped a barrier many times stronger then his physical form's barrier, while drawing Kizoku and igniting the blade. The sword's avatar appeared faintly next to Solranous.

'You know the risk you are taking by doing zis, don't you?' the Zanpoktou asked.

"Sometimes we must take risks to save our friends."

'Well said. I won't stop you.' Kizoku concluded, before his avatar disappeared, so as to not suffer the same fate as Hakaisha.

(OOC: *starts thinking of mental picture of Myrr with half a Hollow mask, and shudders* That is wrong on so many levels...)

((Evihs: I can make it happen... *grin*))

Shive's sobs had died down, and he merely lay there, eyes glazed over and in the fetal position. His lifeless eyes drifted over to Myrr, and whispered,

"Just an illusion... you're not real... go away..."

Meanwhile, Evihs merely grinned.

"Finish? What you started? Heh....heheheheh.... AHAHAHAHAHA! That's rich! Hoo! How long have you been waiting to use that one?!" He laughed.

He held his hand out to the side as particles of 'dark light' began to gather into it. They slowly formed a large, 9-foot long sword that looked an awful lot like...

Hakaisha.

However, the sword was oppositely (?) colored than Hakaisha. The blade was tinted blue, and the guard was white. He released it's Shikia form, which was opposite-colored as well.

"Look at him. He's already gone. There's no point for you to be here." He stated, motioning to Shive.

He raised the blade at Solranous as the red Hollow reiatsu flared about him.

"I control this place. I have absorbed all of Shive's reiatsu. He doesn't exist anymore... he's just a Hollow now." He hissed, grinning.

He twisted the blade so the edge was facing Solranous.

"Shinigami scum..." He growled.

He then rushed forward and slammed his fist into Solranous's face, then spun around and kneed him in the throat. Shive let out a moan as his eyes shrank, and he curled into himself tighter.

[Azure_Ghidorah]

((Myrr: Don't come near me you sadistic freak!))

"Can you feel an illusion?" Myrr asked as she pulled Shive's head up with the least amount of force needed.

"I don't want to lose you, Shive. Please, don't let go of what you cherish most. I won't let you go, not until you've fought your hardest. And don't say you have, because I know if you really fight, you can win. What happened to the psychotic dragonkin I love?" Without hesitation, she kissed him on the lips.

Meanwhile, Solranous snarled after recovering from Evihs' attack.

"Actually, that line was a spur of the moment," the dragon commented before releasing Kizoku into his own Shikai state. "Also, where there is a will, there is a way."

Solranous roared, charging at Evihs. Since he was in another's mind, he could again tap into an greater power then what he was normally capable of, for example, using his true potential strength without transforming. With this, Solranous landed a crushing blow on the Hollow's snout, shattering his nose. He then twirled to strike the side of Evihs' head with equal force to his earlier attack. The dragon snarled yet again.

"Finally, I can say the same about you damn Hollows. You are one lucky son-of-a-b**** that I don't have my Bankai, or I'd wipe the floor with you 'in a heartbeat,' as the old human phrase goes," Solranous continued, teleporting behind Evhis and shoving his Zanpoktou through the Hollow's gut. Solranous turned and clamped down on Evihs' shoulder with his jaws, before blasting a spirit rocket at point blank range, and at the cost of his own health within his maw. Blood leaked from his jaws for a short time before he repaired the damage. He finished by ripping his blade down and through Evihs' hip, before backing off a short distance and releasing his flames.

[Talon]

Evihs cackled as a part of the rubble behind him shattered into light-blue particles that flew over into the Hollow. The wounds were healing! He cracked his neck as the flames Solranous exhaled merely swirled around him.

"I guess you didn't hear me. I CONTROL THIS PLACE." He grinned.

Hakaisha's blade suddenly extended incredibly fast, stabbing itself into Solranous's stomach and through the other side before shrinking again. Evihs then stood before the dragon, grabbing him by the throat and lifting him into the air. Hakaisha crackled, and in a second, blood was spraying from a massive gash on Solranous's front, from his right shoulder to his left hip. Evihs snarled and kicked Solranous away before firing three red 'Kai' waves at the dragon, each slamming into him and sending more blood into the air.

Before Solranous could get up, he felt Hakaisha stab through his chest and into the ground, pinning the dragon. Evihs walked over to Solranous's face and latched his claws into the dragon's temples. He forced the dragon to look at him, then Evihs shifted his hand, shoving one of his claws into the dragon's right eye. He backhanded Solranous and hissed,

"It was foolish of you to come here, dragon. After I'm done with you here, my 'physical' form will just take out yours, turning you into a Hollow like me. Followed by your daughter..."

He kicked Solranous hard in the face as his scales began to darken to black, multiple particles began flowing into his form. His eyes remained the same, but pupiless. He was entirely black, including his armor and features (except for the eyes), making him look like some twisted shadow. Even his general outline became whispy, almost like fire. He hissed as Hakaisha vanished, appearing in his hand. The sword then darkened to monotone colors (black, white, and varying shades of gray).

Meanwhile, Shive's eyes widened slightly, but still dull. They widened further as his eyes watered over, and he asked,

"Myrr? Is that... you? How... why?"

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Solranous grunted in pain, as he started healing his wounds, only to stop. He was already running out of energy? It must be because he was trying to keep both Myrr and himself tied here subconsciously.

"damn, I can't hold him off much longer, I didn't take into account the added drain I'm recieving from trying to keep Myrr in this realm while shielding her from the side effects that are null on me... Have I damned myself by attempting this rescue?" Solranous thought, keeping the voice of his thought shielded from everyone else.

Meanwhile Myrr embraced Shive more tightly then before.

"It's me, Shive. It's the real me. Solranous brought me with him when I found your Hollow self on that floating island. Why you ask? I came here to help you, like you helped me. Because I love you," the half dragon explained, then glanced at the fight and grimaced.

"Father is confronting the Hollow in battle to give me time to help you, but he's losing. Can you get up and help him fight the Hollow?" she asked the dragonkin, making another worried glance back.

Solranous had regenerated his wounds, despite his waning level of power. He growled at the Hollow, before tossing Kizoku at him and twirling the blade around Evihs by its chain.

"Vampyric Flames!"

Solranous drained up to half the Hollow's reiatsu before pulling Kizoku back, launching his next attack.

"Vampire Flame Blast!" The surge of reiatsu-charged flame lanced at Evihs' new form, striking near its feet. Solranous hadn't intended to actually damage him, but he needed to buy more time, and he was already running low as it is. Also, he had a bad feeling he couldn't hurt the Hollow in that current form... And he may have gotten lucky with that very thick smoke screen.

[Talon]

Shive's mouth opened slightly as he looked at Myrr in sad realization, then back at Solranous. He clenched his fists and stood up, muttering,

"Fight the Hollow? No, I'm getting that asshole outta here."

A massive flare of orchid reiatsu emitted from him, and he vanished...

Meanwhile, as Solranous peered into the smoke, the shadow-Evihs burst out and shoved Hakaisha through the dragon's shoulder, then ripped it out as painfully as possible. He grabbed Solranous by the face and hefted him into the air as he grew slightly.

"You should have never come here. Now, you shall join the millions of Hollows in existance..." He growled, sounding as i there were three voices speaking at the same time.

Evihs paused as he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned his head to see Shive standing there.

"Excuse me, but I think you have my sword." He stated.

Evihs screamed as something was shoved through his stomach. He glanced down to see...

Hakaisha?

The sword had vanished from his hand and appeared in Shive's hand, her colors returning already. Shive ripped her out and swung around, severing the Hollow in half at the waist. The Hollow screamed in anger as his floating torso spun around, dropping Solranous. However, the blade merely crashed down and severed the Hollow's arm.

"I own this place. I control it. YOU have no right to be here. So leave me once-and-for-ALL!" Shive boomed.

The edges of Evihs's wounds now looked like burning paper as Evihs began disintergrating at the wound's bases. As the Hollow began corroding, he growled. He lashed out and grabbed Hakaisha by the blade, which was currently lodged in his chest. The Hollow's original colors began returning as a red light began emanating from his elbow, growing until it looked like a sphere of energy. All that was left of the Hollow now was the upper left half of his torso and the arm. As the edges reached his face, he bore a sadistic grin, hissing,

"It seems you've beaten me Shive. But I'll find a way back. I SWEAR ON IT! So if you really want to control my power, be sure to do so before I get back!"

Shive's eyes widened as the light expanded again, then exploded violently, enveloping he and what was left of the Hollow. The explosion forced Solranous and Myrr out of Shive's spiritual realm and back into reality, where the Hollow's body remain standing.

The Hollow suddenly looked at them, and began shrieking as it too, was enveloped in a bright red light. The light faded, and the Hollow reamin standing, though slumped. Suddenly, it's body began 'cracking', as if it were made of porcelain. The shards disintergrated, revealing Shive's natural form. The mask then cracked and evaporated into a white smoke, which in turn dissapeared. Shive's eyes slowly opened, and he collapsed.

"Hooray..." He mumbled.

[Azure_Ghidorah]

As soon as Solranous was back in his physical body, he let go of Myrr and fell from the sky, exhausted. The half dragon was about to fly down to help him, but he gestured over to Shive.

"He is the one you should go to, all I need is some rest," he spoke to her with telepathy. She nodded hesitantly, then flew to the dragonkin somewhat nearby. Landing, she picked up and wrapped her arms around the dragonkin lightly. No words needed to be said from her, she felt she had said all she needed to when she was in his mind. It had to be enough, or she doubted she would be here.

This, meanwhile, left Solranous to his own thoughts.

'I'm proud that she is my daughter of another timeline. She carries the courage of my incarnation in her time. Now I think I see why those two get along so well, they cause so much friction with their stubbornness that they can't help but be together. Stubborn with, and stubborn without, who says only opposities attract? Definetly not me.' The dragon chuckled to himself amidst his thoughts, 'I get the feeling that our times here may be written in legend for its uniqueness. It's one thing to have dragons. It's another, though rarer, thing for a dragon and human to come together through such a fickle emotion. But it all gets turned into one crazy adventure when you throw in magic and science. Besides, who's ever heard of a sword-wielding dragon? A Shinigami no less... Maybe our world is a book or something similar to another world. And in a book, anything the writter... or writters... want to happen can happen. Fate can be a confusing and fickle creature...

(OOC: S***! He's on to us! [In reference to the 'book' comment])

[Talon]

((*pulls out syringe* HE MUST BE TERMINATED!))

Shive glanced at Myrr, and a smile spread across his face. His eyes watered over, and he draped his right arm across her back.

"Myrr... I... can't thank you two enough... you... you came back for me..." He whispered.

He laid his chin on her shoulder and closed his eyes, bringing about his other arm and hugging her back. He didn't want to let go.

"You believed in me... even when I didn't. You brought me out of that state and got me to fight back." He muttered.

He smirked, and turned his head closer to Myrr with his head still on her shoulder.

"I knew I saw an angel... when I saw you." He stated, trying not to grin.

He rubbed his cheek against hers, making pleased growling sounds. Almost like...

A purr?

Great, now she's got me doing it... oh well. He thought, repressing a laugh.

[Azure_Ghidorah]

((Solranous: N-Nani!? Azure, you won't let him kill me... Will you!? Azure: *rubs his fist on Solranous' forehead hard* Nah, your too fun to role play as, besides, Kisara and Myrr would be heart broken. Solranous: Good to know I'm loved, but that hurt, Azure.))

Solranous grinned at the two of them, and stood up slowly. He had recovered some of his strength and now that he was stable, he would wait to see if Myrr needed help in moving Shive or if she would wait for him to recover as well. Either way, he had the patience to wait for them.

Myrr laughed softly, before she kissed Shive again for a few seconds.

"Of course I came back for you. Not only did I owe you one, but I love you. You may be a psychotic dragonkin who's treading that fine line between sanity and insanity, but it's that psychotic dragonkin I fell in love with. The phrase, 'Till death do we part, and no sooner' comes to mind, and it'll be true for us."

When Solranous felt, not heard, those words pass her lips, he found himself wanting to be with a certain human in a similar stance, under better circumstances.

'Kisara... I think I understand now... Our kiss was from fate, not an accident. How could I not see it? Destiny has woven in a different fashion then the time were it is assured that we come together, yet in some was, it has woven to yet again attempt to bring us together. Myrr, I know I was going to wait, but I feel that destiny is calling to me elsewhere.' Solranous concluded, spreading his wings and taking flight once more, slowly as to regain his bearings on flight after the exertsion of energy to rescue Shive from the Hollow. After a few minutes, the dragon flew away. Where to was for him to know and others to find out.

(OOC: BTW FYI, Solranous normally wouldn't tire out that fast, even if he was sustaining two people in the spiritual realm of a third person. I wrote that he was so that Shive would be the one to defeat the Hollow, as I felt it was only fair to do that. Don't want Solranous stealing the glory meant for another now do we?)

[Talon]

((*puts syringe away and sees kitten run up* NOT YET damnIT!))

Shive nodded, feeling 'all warm and fuzzy' inside.

"It's a fun line to walk, I can tell you that." He muttered, grinning.

He glanced up at the starry sky and sighed, laying back.

"Screw death! I'll find a way to be with you longer, if I have to! ...aside from dracolichdom, of course." He stated, closing his eyes.

Shive, I'm glad to see you've finally done it. A familiar voice stated.

Shive's eyes burst open, and he frantically glanced around. He paused as he touched Hakaisha, and her avatar appeared before him.

That wasn't you... was it? He asked nervously.

Hakaisha smirked, and stated,

Maybe I should give you a hint.

As she finished that sentance, her scales lightened to a bright silver. Her hair became a shiny chrome-blue, and her eyes turned blue as well. Shive's eyes widened.

NO WAY. He stated.

Yes way. It's me. Your ex. Hakaisha stated.

Shive felt faint.

HA! You didn't know the soul of your Zanpoktou was your old girlfriend! HA-HA-HA! Hakaisha/Sevra laughed.

Shive's eye twitched. He shrugged and turned to Myrr. The moonlight made her look magnificent...

"Myrr... nothing will seperate us. Nothing can."

He reached forward and grabbed her, grinning. He then gave her a french kiss that lasted a good 60 seconds or so. He slowly pulled away, and the grin returned.

"I'll love you as long as I exist, and longer." He stated.

((*'On the Way Down' starts playing in the background* End thread? *kitten meows* GO AWAY!))

(OOC: First, WHOA! BACK UP! REWIND! Hakaisha is Sevra!? Myrr: Who would've though the world would see an ex not try to kill her former boyfriend... Azure: Second, Yeah, lets wrap it up here, also, from the start of my post, we're assuming its soon after Shive's little french kiss.)

Her eyes sparkled from the kiss. She and Shive were here alone, and they once more had some quality time. The dragon side of her mind, with its wild instinct, was still tame. It did not give her the desire for more then just a simple kiss.

"So will I, I'll love you to the end of time itself," she purred. "And I believe you when you say that line is fun to walk, sometimes I wonder if you'll bring me there one day. But for now..." pausing, the half dragon partially laid on top of Shive again, snuggling close to the dragonkin, "...Let's just rest. It's been a long day and I'm tired, even if I didn't do much." Without waiting for a reply, the half dragon closed her eyes.

[Talon]

((Remember ealier when Sevra said she asked Chronepsis a favor? Guess what that favor was... *meow from behind* STOP STALKING ME!!!))

Shive nodded and laid his head back, his left arm still around Myrr. He had a lot of things to think about, but for now... he'd let them go. He sighed in content as he too, shut his eyes. Nothing could ruin this-

Meow. A voice in his head stated.

Shive opened his eyes and cocked an eyebrow. He shrugged and closed his eyes.
