The Tenkyanon dropship touched down a few miles from the city, far away from any roads leading into or out of Nightshade. The bay door opened, allowing the now-armored Onyste to shuffle out, and one of the droids onboard leaned out and droned in an apologetic tone,
"Due to an odd energy reading near the city, we've been ordered to drop you here. We assume you can make it back to the city, and you may as well test out the PMPCA while you're here!"
With that, the door closed, unfortunately, on the droid's arm, seen flailing between the bay door and the rest of the ship, sparking before the ship lifted back off into orbit. The time had to have been around 5:00, and the day's light was fading quickly in the early winter night as the last rays of day set on the lonesom False Dragon.

Onyste nodded to the droids as their ship flew back to Tenkyanon, then sighed to herself.
'Only thing left to do is test it... and find out if going to all the trouble was worth it.' she sighed to herself, before pulling the turbo pack on.
"Better get used to this now so I can adjust to the extra speed." Onyste muttered aloud, taking off and accelerating to her normal max speed. The False Dragon nibbled her lower lip, nervous for a moment, before shaking it off and kicking the thrusters on, steadily adding more speed as she got comfortable with the rate and how well she could turn at that velocity.
Slowing to a stop back where she was dropped off, she sent the turbo pack back and equiped the blitz pack. She noticed the vibro-claws first and flipped them down over her normal claws. Onyste triggered them, and stabbed them into the concrete below, dragging it through with stunning ease. Satisfied with that, she deactivated the vibro-claws and flipped them back up, before flipping her chainsaw sword and pincer shield out, swinging the sword experimentally and grabbing out with the pincers, seeing how far she could reach with both while still being affective.
"Alright... two out of four..." Onyste muttered, sending the blitz pack back. She sighed, about to pull another one out to test it, when she felt someone in the vicinity
'Kisara?' she mused, it felt like her now somewhat estranged partner, but she seemed distraught. 'Was that all it took? Me vanishing for a few days and you suddenly panic? Have you realized how you scarred me?'
She wasn't expecting the sub Shinigami to be around in such a state, and she wasn't prepared to confront the other yet over the issue...

About several dozen yards away from Onyste's location, a single humanoid entity watched the False Dragon test out her new armor.
"Hmm... the AI has assisted yet another organic he previously deemed 'unworthy'... curious how his mindset is these days. Much more lenient toward the others samples... odd." The man muttered, smirking under a head of short, ruffled, and curly violet hair.
A set of white, robe-like clothes, startlingly similar to what a priest might wear, billowed lightly in the cold winter breeze, the human's hands jammed in his pockets. Indeed, he did look human... but here, one could never be too sure. He was tall, lithe, and bore a slight air of arrogance about him as he looked on, his overly-keen eyes picking up on Onyste's visible distress.
Hmph... her master is nearby. Was she not the one who drove the False Dragon to obtain the machine's help? The man with purple-colored hair mused in interest.

Onyste narrowed her eyes, shaking her head angrily.
"No... I won't let it be that simple..." she declared softly, setting on the aerial pack. "She'll never think to look to the sky..." she continued, turning away from Kisara's general direction, getting a running start, before jumping and activating the pack, taking off. The false dragon weaved around, trying many a stunt that would make most other false dragons seethe with jealousy.
She glanced down at the tesla coils on her forelegs, tempted to test them. With Kisara so close though, it would draw unwanted attention to herself.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Kisara turned her head side to side, scanning the area as much as she could, before flash stepping to another, unsearched section.
'Onyste... I'm so sorry... Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?' she wondered, growing steadily more desperate, the reality that if Onyste never wanted to see her again, she would be long gone by now quickly setting in.
'... I only I noticed sooner...'

The purple-haired man bore a look of distasteful wonder on his face as Kisara Flash-Stepped to-and-fro about the area, then glanced up into the sky at the airborne Onyste.
I see... so the mount isn't ready to forgive her rider just yet... hmm. Should I step in...? The mount is sure to be used by her master again... feh, the word still bears the same foul tone. He mused.
He glanced back down at Kisara, and his eyes narrowed.
They are of no use to the Walkers anyway... but... if there is anything I learned from my encounters back 'home'...
He slowly began to pace toward the desperate-looking Kisara, adding,
... it's that friendship is a potent and wonderful thing... and it should never be taken for granted. Denying someone such a right would be as oppresive as slavery...
"You... your name is Kisara, isn't it?" He asked aloud, standing not ten feet from her now.

Kisara jumped lightly as the man appeared nearby, turning to him.
"Uh... Y-Yeah..." she stuttered, trying to compose herself. It wasn't working so well, and she was sure he had seen her before now.
"Um... Who're you, if you don't mind me asking?" Kisara inquired in response, now somewhat disturbed that someone knew her name and she didn't know his.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
From her airborne status, Onyste could easily spot the meeting that was occurring.
'Alright... who's that?' the false dragon wondered, 'I can afford to get a little closer, just a long as she doesn't see my shadow, I should be set...'
With that in mind, the False Dragon silently drifted closer, flying a circle around the two below.

The man gave a slight half-bow, then curtly replied,
"I am Shu Shirakawa, one of Dr. Astor's... 'associates'. It's my job to keep an eye on most of you, hence why I know your name. But that's beside the point... I assume you're looking for someone, judging from the way you're acting. Who might it be?"
He stared at her in a cold, intent fashion, then his eyes drifted toward the faint shadow cast by the moon that circled them. His iris's seemed to glow yellow a bit in the darkness, and he stated loud enough for all to hear,
"Perhaps you should come a bit closer... I don't wish to raise my voice the entire conversation, and I believe this woman would like to speak with you."
The air around him seemed to shift a bit chaotically for a moment, and he added,
"I insist."

Kisara blinked in surprise, wondering who Shu was addressing.
"But... there's no one else here..." she muttered. Only to be promptly proven wrong as she also noticed the shadow, which was growing as Onyste descended. The Shinigami's eyes widened in surprise, joy, and nervousness, as her companion landed, but kept the aerial pack equiped
The false dragon, meanwhile, shook her head slightly, replying, "Raising your voice wasn't all that necessary, I have sharp hearing..."
Kisara gulped as she stared at Onyste's armored form, "Onyste...?" she muttered in disbelief. The false dragon in question grimaced, but other wise gave no indication of hearing the other's words. This caused Kisara's already low morale to drop even more, she may have found her old comrade... but could she win back the severed friendship they shared?

Shu seemed indifferent toward Onyste's hostility at Kisara, simply replying,
"Oh, I am well aware of your physical abilities, now augmented by the AI's twisted experiments. Are you really to let this feud grow to the point where you had to run away and turn to violent intent to regain your partner's affection, if that is what I assume to be the case? If that's true, then you've failed to try to 'get her back'... and failed as a true friend."
He glanced at Kisara, and added,
"I'm not sure what your side of the situation is like, but if you've driven away a life-long friend because of it, then you should be ashamed of yourself. Nothing should come between such a relationship, and for you to let that happen is deplorable. However..."
He closed his eyes and sighed, finishing his rant,
"However... you both came here, meeting at this exact spot for a reason... you still have a bond. If either of you want things to get better from this point, I suggest you take the neccessary steps to fix that bond..."
Shu then turned around, and stepped through a rift in the air, said rift vanishing as soon as he stepped through. A rough 1000 feet above them, Shu re-appeared... but definately not as he was before. A bulky, armored form hovered amongst the beginnings of a hoarde of light snowflakes, arms folded with its hard yellow eyes peering down at the unknowing pair below.
Now... to see how these seeds will be reaped... He pondered.

Kisara hung her head, stealing a glance at Onyste when she thought the false dragon wasn't looking. She did feel as Shu felt she should, there was no mistaking that.
"... Onyste...?" she ventured again. Another grimace, but still no response. She figured no response was the best response she could get, and pressed on, "I... I'm sorry... I was an idiot for not-"
"Enough." Onyste interrupted, and Kisara flinched back. The tone wasn't at all hostile, but she still imagined it being so.
"But... but I..."
"You don't have to say anything... Actions speak louder then words..."
Kisara blinked, surely it couldn't be that simple... "Is there some kind of catch? I... I hurt you worse then I could ever imagine..."
Silence again greeted the despairing woman but she didn't want to break the ice again... she didn't know if she'd say something wrong.
"Things can eventually go back to the way they were, I'm not so cruel as to completely abandon you for this... but it can't happen over night... The scars are still too deep..." Onyste said after several tense minutes.
"I'm... I'm honestly surprised you didn't cut and run... find someone else to take you in... I know I would if somebody hurt me that badly... It shows you're a better person then I am... too give me a chance to fix things..."
"Had our bond not been since as far back as we can remember, I probably would have... However, I can't turn my back on someone who I had so many great memories with just because they turn their back on me... I want things to be repaired as much as you do..."
"Onyste... I'm so sorry..."
"... So am I..."
Kisara picked her head up at this, confused, "Wha...?"
Onyste grimaced for the third time, now looking at Kisara again, "I over reacted..., I didn't give things a chance before running off... I was just so mad, so hurt... And I kind of brought it on myself by willingly walking into the background..."
Kisara sniffed, starting to cry, wanting to run towards the false dragon and wrap her arms around the other's neck, but she restrained herself. It was clear, stated or not, that that wasn't something she could do at the moment...
"Can we...?" she started, to afraid to speak the rest of her question.
"Yes, but like I said earlier... it'll take time..." the other responded, gaze hardened, and letting only a twinge of sorrow and hope through.
"... Thank you... This is more then I could ever ask for..."
The false dragon nodded, "There is hope yet..." she finished, letting a smile tug at her lips.

Shu nodded at the situation taking place below, musing,
"As it should be... hmm. Now, back to more... pressing matters."
He slowly started to descend, then paused, going deathly still as the clouds above him shifted slightly, and an eery red-orange glow hovering by with the cloud's distortion as well.
"... There!" He breathed, whirling around.
All the armored entity could see was the glowing blot of red-orange shift across the sky, perhaps a good 20 feet or so in area, and a slight humanoid shape could be seen within it's confines.
"What...? Such an odd energy... what is this...?!" He growled quietly.
He paused, then his now-yellow eyes slowly closed, and he muttered,
"... ohh. It's one of them... ... Astor must be informed immediatly."
The massive, blue-armored enigma abruptly dissapeared in another 'shimmer' of air, having left the area completely. A quiet, shrill groan echoed throughout the area as the red-orange glow in the clouds made its way toward the city...

"So... How do we proceed from here?"
Onyste shrugged at the question. "I say we pick a meeting spot and agree upon it, and come back every now and then..."
Kisara nodded, "How about the lake then...?" she offered.
"Works for me. Meet me there in two weeks, kay?"
"You got it..."
"Don't forget." And with that, Onyste nodded to Kisara, turned around, and took off again.
"I really do hope we can fix this..." Kisara muttered as she saw Onyste fly off, before turning and leaving herself.
