Mazinkaiser sits on the shore of the Diamond Lake, the sun's glare hitting against his armor. With one leg propped up and his arm resting on the knee, he looks at the clear waters, quietly sighing as he feels a calmness come over his body. "Its...so peaceful..." he mutters aloud.
"But, it truly isn't. It never can be." Kaiser Galeon says, walking up beside the super robot, "Peace isn't truly here, its just a figment of out imagination that we supply by our dreams of serenity."
The lion as well looks at the waters, the seemingly only pure natural place in Nightshade. From behind the two, Great Mazinger grunts in distant and crosses his arms. "You guys are downers..." He grunts, "So serious and apathetic all the time!"
"Heh...I'm not apathetic as the kitten here." Mazinkaiser chuckles as the lion gives him a death glare for being called a mere child.
"And you, punk, can't seem to grasp the situation we all are in at times." Galion snarls, looking back to the water. Great Mazinger gives a small chuckle at the "small talk" between the two saviors. "You two....geeze, you act like something bad's gonna happen!" he laughs.
"Because its already here...." Mazinkaiser mumbles, showing almost no emotion as he looks from across the lake. From the center of the lake, Thrudgelmir hovers above the pure water. His eyes steam with a dark passion, a frown meeting this glare. Great Mazinger, startled by this, tries to ready himself to fight the machine, but Mazinkaiser belays that by speaking to the "evil" machine.
"So...you've come to challenge us, right Thrudgelmir?" Mazinkaiser shouts to the Gate of Magus. Darkness covers Thrudgelmir's eyes, and only a frown is shown upon his face and uttering only pure silence. Narrowing his eyes Mazinkaiser grunts, "I see..."
Standing up and dusting himself off, Mazinkaiser continues. "I knew this day was coming..." he says aloud. Thrudgelmir looks up with a semi confused look upon his face.
"If you saw this was coming....why didn't you start it earlier? You had your chance so many times...yet you never took it." Thrudgelmir growls emotionessly.
"Because, I had to let you gain your epiphany." Mazinkaiser simply answers. Thrudgelmir's jaw slightly drops at the answer. The machine's jaws then clench into a fanged frown. "You were toying with me....even before we fought?" Thrudgelmir says in a growls, slowly progressing to a roar, "You think its funny? TOYING with ME!? I'll fix that....I'll CRUSH you! BOTH of you! UNTIL THERE IS NOTHING LEFT!! NOTHING BUT DUST YOU IGNORANT FOOLS!! We WILL fight, but I will be the winner!! I'll show everyone what a fool you were to not finish this sooner!!"
Slowly, Thrudgelmir ascends into the sky, shouting his last words. "We will fight at the Crystal River. You shall share the same grave GaoGaiGar has." With that, he disappears towards the river, the sound ripples quaking into the sensors of the robots. Galion and Mazinkaiser look up to the sky as the winds gentle passes after Thrudgelmir.
Great Mazinger looks at the sky then to the two robots, then to the sky again. "You...you're seriously going to fight him? But you two haven't even used Final Fusion yet!!" he shouts. Mazinkaiser turns to his brother with a "smile" on his face.
"We'll find a way. We always do." he says. His brother sags his shoulders, slightly hanging his head.
"But is that gonna work this time...." Great Mazinger mutters. Kaiser Galeon steps forwards, digging his claws into the dirt. "Go, tell Solranous and the others. They might want to see the fight."
"Even...even if you two might die?" Great Mazinger asks in a state of worry.
"They're our friends, they would want to give their support to us." Mazinkaiser says, nodding for his brother to go.
"Alright...but...don't do anything until I get back! You hear me!!" Great Mazinger says as he begins to hover in the air with his wings extended. Mazinkaiser nods to reassure his brother. Hesitating for a second, Great Mazinger then flies off to find the others to warn of the brawl that would soon be occuring.
As his brother leaves, Mazinkaiser hears the lion speak to him. "You...really think we can win?" he growls.
Pausing Mazinkaiser looks towards the lake once more. "We have to. We are the ones trusted with this destiny."
