"I... should say so." Thaea replied to her grandfather.
Huh... that's Shinji? He doesn't seem as whiny as Asuka made him out to be... She mused.
Meanwhile, Garrett blinked, staring at the situation in confusion. He'd never seen Burning Gundam or Shinji, but assumed that he was a friendly due to the lack of abrupt bloodshed. He shrugged, then entered his old home wordlessly to inspect and make any neccesary fixes to the place. Thaea tilted her head at Burning Gundam, then scowled slightly.
I don't recall hearing about this one either... he must be one of GaoMazinGar's old apprentices. She pondered.
She leaned over and helped Asuka to her feet while asking the purple Eva,
"So I assume you're Shinji, then...?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, that's me... I guess Asuka told you?" Shinji replied, his head tilted to the side.
Asuka just scowled at Shinji, wondering what had given him a spine to work with now.
Solranous sighed, glancing about the group. "Are we gonna have anymore reinforcements, or are we ready to go kick some ass?"
Shinji turned to the dragon, eyes narrowing, "I'm ready... after all, I owe that monster back for our last fight."
"Shinji...?" Asuka wondered. She didn't recognize this Shinji's attitude at all. The amethyst Eva turned slightly, acknowledging that he had heard her, but the crimson Eva shook her head, "Never mind..."

Burning Gundam, crossing his arms, nods to Solranous. "Yes, lets finish this thing off before it hurts anyone else." Turning to Thaea he speaks, "Introductions from myself and the others can wait. Right now, we need to focus on stomping out this monster."
Pausing he turns to his pupil, a stern look places itself upon the machine's eyes. "You're ready for this? No holding back when you fight, you hear me!" Igniting his thrusters the Gundam hovers in the air grabbing a hold of Shinji's arm then holding his hand to Asuka. "I'll take you there, as well as Shinji if you want. But make up your mind quickly."

Asuka blinked, then backed away, "Uh... no thanks, I'll catch up to you guys later..."
Shinji tilted his head curiously, "What's wrong, Asuka? You usually don't back away from a challenge."
Asuka scowled at that, "This isn't like before, one Eva can't bring it down, not without a lot of he-EEEELP!"
Her reply had turned into a yelp of surprise as Solranous picked her up and set her on his shoulder, "Which is why you're coming to assist us, whether you like it or not."
Asuka was about to argue, but she soon thought better, swearing that she saw fire erupt in his eyes.
Shinji then turned back to his mentor, nodding. "I know that this will require everything I have. I'll be ready..."
Solranous grinned, then looked to where the monster was travelling too. "Alright then... Let's get this show on the road already!"
The dragon then launched into the air, causing another yelp from Asuka as she had to grab on to his spines to keep from falling off.
The amethyst Eva blinked, "Uh... He's... he's got a way of getting his point across, doesn't he...?"

"Oh, that's nothing... you should see him when he's serious!" Thaea muttered, eyebrows raised.
Thaea laughed, then skittered into her 'apartment', emerging in her suit of technological armor, the black, rubbery segments appearing to link the red portion together. She connected her sword and rifle to spots on her hip plates as her wings unfurled from gaps in the back of her breastplate. She tilted her head, stating in a slightly confused tone,
"Uh, Garrett said he's not coming... he'll wait 'til the next one, or something. Heh. Anyway, shall we get going? C'mon!"
With that, she gave a slight crouch, then rocketed off into the air, heading rapidly for the center of the city with Burning and Shinji in pursuit.
