Volk had quickly made his way to the city in his Urhan form not giving the night much chance to advance. As he entered the heart of the city he stuck to the back alleys following the stench of death. He finally came to the edge of the city and found the large gates leading to the graveyard.
"Alright so there's a Darkwood lycan in here huh? Best get in there and find em", he says bounding up and over the gate.
He lands inside the fence and starts to search for the lycan in hiding.
I'll probably have to search the mausoleums too just in case. So I have until dawn huh? Moon's pretty high already, gives me about 6 hours to get to the other two after this one.
He doubled his efforts using sight, sound and smell to search out the lycan who was supposedly nearby.

As Volk passed by one of the crypts, something atop the stone steeple had moved, but by the time he looked back at it, whatever it was had already left. Several shadows near other crypts had shifted as well, moving out of Volk's sight as he neared them. It wasn't until the blue lycan had made his way to the center of the graveyard, where a large, old oak tree stood, decrepid branches hanging leafless and low. Several humans staggered out from the shadows, all of them bearing the same, cold expression as they swayed over to Volk, one of them muttering,
"He must be the one..."
They all issued gurgling shrieks before their forms shifted a scaly green, turning into several familiar-looking creatures- ones Volk had encountered down at the Lake before. Worm, or so they had called themselves... time to ponder on them was lost as all five of them made their way toward the lycan, one of them uppercutting him in the jaw with its larger claw, sending him stumbling and skidding backwards before they all charged at once, snarling and gurgling...

Volk reeled from the blow before he steadied himself for his opposition.
God not these things again. Now is the worst time for their attempt at vengeance, and it's ticking me off!
Volk released a howl at his foes and lept on one tackling it to the ground. He wasted no time in bashing its skull in to the point of what face it did have was now unrecognizable. He hopped off before the creature could explode and harm him.
He turned on another tossed it into a mausoleum closing the door on it to buy some time for himself. He still felt extremely tired from the first trial.
He put a couple tombstones between himself and the group hoping the obstructions would give him a bit of time to regain some energy.

The remaining Worm wasted no time in hopping over and through gravestones after Volk, shrieking and gurgling the entire time as their comrade locked in the mosoleum attempted to break free. They couldn't keep up with their target's superior speed at first, but the tired lycan eventually fell under a tossed gravestone that landed into his back, sending him crashing to the ground. The Worms were on him now, one of them hefting Volk by the throat before it smashed him through a gravestone, two other proceeding to kick him in the gut before another planned to smash a large rock into Volk's skull... had it not spontaneously exploded.
[glow=green,2,300]"CLOCK OVER!!"[/glow]
Several feet from where the Worm had stood before it exploded now towered some form of armored humanoid, wearing green armor styled possibly after a grasshopper.
"Such a place close to Hell... this is my domain." The entity muttered.
The other three Worm hissed in surprise as the armored being wheeled on them, kicking them with surprising agility and power with apparently no idea that Volk lay several feet behind it. However, someone did- the Worm that escaped the mosoleum was now turning bright red, its exterior melting away to reveal another form- a taller, gray-white humanoid resembling some form of monstrous tick. It gurgled, then spotted Volk, slowly making its way over to the felled test-taker.

Volk got up grabbing the tombstone as he stood.
"Now is not a wonderful time for you little ants to be exacting your revenge", he exclaimed hurling the tombstone at the large one that had just burst from the mausoleum. When it struck the chest a couple of large pops could be heard issuing from the creature's body.
"No why don't you damn bugs just piss off and leave me alone! I have business to attend to", he roared. He launched a Frost Shot ramming it into the creature's head.
Volk looked around wanting to find this lycan in case it might help him should he find them. He had no luck however and returned his attention to the molted Worm that was assaulting him. He too was unaware of the other entity fighting the Worm along with him.

The molted Worm merely issued a screaming hiss in response before lunging at Volk, smashing its clawed hand into the lycan's side and sending him skidding several feet away, still emitting its gurgling shriek. Meanwhile, the other fighter was currently taking on all three Worm at once with a non-stop flurry of kicks, showing little to no signs of having trouble. Finally, he flicked the device on his waist as a surge of energy went down into his legs, causing his to sail through the air, twisting around as he went before flicking the device on his waist once more.
[glow=green,2,300]"RIDER JUMP!! RIDER KICK!!"[/glow]
His left leg surged with explosive power before he slammed it into one of the Worm's faces, causing some of the energy to surge into the Worm before the odd leg-shaped device on the armored figure's leg clicked and rebounded several times, causing the entity to repeat the process two more times with the other Worms before landing on the ground nearby, all three Worms shrieking before they exploded. The armored figure slowly looked up at Volk and his predicament, then gave a disgruntled sigh and walked off, out of view.

Volk howled as he lunged back at his opponent. He formed his ice gauntlets however he sucked away a large amount of his energy. He hit it with a spinning backhand and followed up with a leg sweep flooring his enemy. He bounded up into the air off the top of a tombstone and rammed his armored hand into the skull of the large Worm. Ice began to form around the skull and Volk withdrew his arm stepping away from the beast to let it perform its explosive exit in peace.
"Alright where are you Darkwood I'm here and I'm not to happy especially after these things attacked me for a second time", he said.
He sniffed around and finally caught a scent though he had hardly much energy to run to its source. He decided to take his time since he shouldn't be confronted by any more hostiles and recuperate his energy reserves a bit.
He trudged across the graveyard following the scent trail all the while trying to remain conscious.

Eventually, the weary blue lycan came across a teenager slumbering against one of the larger graves, fingers intertwined on his chest and docile look of peace on his face. He abruptly snorted awake when Volk came near, and blinked several times before looking at the lycan himself.
"Oh... hey, he finally showed up. heh. Sorry, fell asleep. I'll alert the others to your arrival, shall I?"
With that, the teen shifted into a brown-gray Urhan form, then slowly tilted his head back and issued a powerful howl into the night sky, listening to it echo into the night. He slowly nodde,d then barked at Volk, nodding at the mountains in a signal for him to continue his quest. The young pack member himself then bounded off into the night fog and out of sight.

Volk snorted as the youngster ran off to rejoin the pack.
"So they send a kid like him out to perform an important task like this and he falls asleep. Have to wonder what they'll all be like later on", he mused.
He shifted into his own Urhan form and headed out for the mountaintop crater and the 2nd part of his trial.
One down and only two to go. That also took a good chunk of time to finish up. looks like I have five hours to finish it all up from here.
He took off into the night as fast as his weary body would allow.
((End Thread))
