Story 14: Never Doubt Possibilities With Women and Gambling.

Azure looked at the four seated at the table, wondering why the hell Myrr would want to play poker, specifically, 7-card stud.
First, farthest to the left, was Kisara, who clearly had an unnatural talent for poker faces when she wanted to, the author slash dealer couldn't read a thing from her face.
Next was her love, Solranous, also similarly capable of grand poker faces.
Flanking his right was his daughter, Myrr, who was giggling like crazy. She was having way to much fun at the thought.
Rounding off the group to Myrr's right was Xeno-Myrr, her dark half, who wore a very twisted grin on her face that sent shivers down Azure's spine.
Clearing his throat, the author slash dealer began, "Ante up please and we'll start this game." Each tossed in a grand in chips, even though they normally didn't have this kind of money. Azure decided that bigger monetary amounts meant more fun in gambling and, for the purposes of the story, changed things up so that each of them had seven hundred grand in chips to bet with.
The author began dealing the cards, starting with Xeno-Myrr, then moving down the line to Kisara, starting with two face down cards and a face up card, which would decide betting order. As the face up cards came, Azure called them out,
"Duce. Seven. King. Jack. Big King bets."
Solranous nodded, then looked at his face down cards. A mental grin appearing in his mind, Solranous picked up part of one of his stacks of chips and tossed it in, "Seven grand," the dragon told them.
Kisara arched an eyebrow at this, but quickly called without looking at her down cards. Solranous arched his own eyebrow at this.
'She seems pretty confident calling, essentially, in the dark' the dragon mused.
Xeno-Myrr, still wearing that twisted grin, replied, "I see seven thou and re-raise to ten." the hybrid informed, throwing in three more chips then Solranous and Kisara. Myrr silently raised again to fifteen grand, which the other three called on, Xeno stating "I'm Kay with staying in for another five grand."
Azure nodded in understanding, dealing out the next set of cards, again starting with Xeno.
"Pairing up. Straightening. No Help. Straightening. Double Deuces start things off." Azure called out again, Xeno quickly putting in thirty grand. Myrr called the bet, and Solranous, now a bit worried, took another look at his face down cards to confirm his chances. The dragon, however, couldn't get anything from reading the others' minds, seeing as how they haven't looked at their down cards. Even if they did, he wouldn't read their minds, because that would be an unfair advantage.
Having looked at his hole cards again, Solranous reassured himself that his chances for winning this pot were very good, and raised to forty-five grand, in which Kisara made no hesitation in calling. The two Myrr's were similarly eager to see the next cards.
"No Help. Straightening. Pairing Up. Straightening. Double Kings begin the round."
Solranous quickly made a decent bet of sixty thousand, which nobody decided to re-raise, only calling the bet.
"Tripling. No Help. Straightening. Pairing Up. Trip Deuces have control."
Xeno-Myrr grinned, betting a hundred grand, Myrr called it, Solranous re-raised to hundred and fifty grand, causing hesitation from Kisara. Her throat partially clenched, as she now took a look at her face down cards. Mentally sighing, she called the bet, and so did the two Myrrs.
Azure dealt the third face down card, and let everybody make a round of betting. Xeno-Myrr checked, causing an eyebrow arc from Myrr, who put in fifty grand. Solranous and Kisara quickly called after checking their third down card. Xeno-Myrr shrugged, and called as well.
"Everybody reveal their face down cards." Azure said, looking between the four of them. Xeno-Myrr revealed her cards first. Her Trip Deuces were backed by a pair of fours, making a full house.
Myrr frowned, revealing a weaker straight.
Kisara grinned, revealing that, to go along with her face up eight, that she had the remaining three as her down cards, and was about to rake the pot toward herself, until Solranous slapped down a straight King high flush.
Kisara gaped at the overpowering set of cards that utterly trounced her quad eights, and reluctantly pulled her hand, Solranous grinning and bringing the massive pot to his own chip stack.
Play continued for quite awhile, the unrelenting aggressiveness of all four of them causing the status of chip leader to veer all over the place. After six hands, Xeno-Myrr was knocked out, and left. Her light half was next, taken out after another ten hands, leaving a close game between Solranous and Kisara. After two hands, Solranous was on the verge of elimination, but had the best hand there could be, Royal Flush. The entire hand, he had just limped in with as little money as he could.
Kisara grinned so massively it looked like her mouth would split her head in half, certain that she had the dragon down for the count, and pushed all of her chips in. Solranous paused for a few seconds, creating an air of uncertainty, before calling the bet with what he had left with the explanation of, "Why not? I can't afford the next ante, so I might as well go out here if I'm going out."
Needless to say... Kisara was absolutely flabbergasted when Solranous revealed the almighty Royal Flush. She was about to leave, but then a wicked idea crossed her mind, and she sat back down, Azure arched an eyebrow at the action, but then realized what Kisara had in mind when she pulled off her shoes.
She decided to turn this into a game of Strip Poker.
Solranous' eyes widened at the fact, and Azure produced a long-rimmed cowboy hat out of no where and put it on his head, tilting it down so all he could see would be the cards he would be dealing.
Kisara quickly explained her reasoning, "This way, it doesn't matter who wins, 'cause we both are going to win in this case."
Solranous shrugged, though a grin was on his face. He figured she was now banking on him winning.
Azure started dealing the cards, starting with Solranous.
"Duce. Queen."
Seeing as Kisara had no chips to bet, Azure was going to deal out more cards, until Kisara motioned for him to wait. Curious, he did so. She slipped off her socks, adding them in with her shoes. Solranous didn't need to be a mind reader to know what she intended now.
"I'm playing each article, or pair of articles in this case, as one grand." Kisara explained, Solranous quickly pushing in two grand in chips to compensate. Azure's eye mentally twitched.
'If Solranous keeps up with this streak, she's going to be in the nude rather quickly...' Azure mused as he dealt out the next pair of cards.
"Pairing up. Straightening."
Solranous had a pair up, while Kisara had King/Queen off suit.
Solranous pushed in another two grand, waiting for Kisara. She stripped off the pair of fingerless gloves she had for this situation, and a hat that she had which she sometimes wore, though often leaving it out when she was getting out of the house, and added them as well.
"No Help. Straightening."
Solranous had his pair and an eight up now, Kisara had King/Queen/Ten, with Queen and Ten suited. Solranous checked, which Kisara followed.
"Pairing up. Straightening." Azure said, surprised that Kisara had gotten four cards for a king high straight back to back.
Solranous now had a pair of twos and eights up, with Kisara showing a King/Queen/Jack/Ten. The chance of her getting that King high straight were very real. The Queen, Jack, and Ten were all suited. Solranous checked again, and Kisara checked her face down cards again. Upon grinning, she stripped down to nothing but her bra and panties rather eagerly, adding a total representation of four grand to the middle. Solranous arched an eye brow, calling.
Azure dealt the final two cards, and both checked, each revealing their hands.
Solranous had a full house of twos and eights, but Kisara revealed that she had a suited King, and a suited nine in the hole, along with an additional ten just for kicks. She raked the pot in her direction, but left the clothing off. Upon this, Azure arched an eye brow, but still didn't look at her.
Kisara just shrugged, "One way or another, its all coming off, might as well leave it that way instead of wasting more time." Azure didn't make an response, accepting her reasoning.
The antes were set, and Azure began dealing again.
"Queen. Queen. Having the first of the two, you go first Sol."
The dragon nodded, putting in three grand, Kisara pushed in the chips she won last hand as a call.
"Pairing Up. No Help."
That second one was false, while it was worthless for anything else, the three Kisara got was suited with her Queen, creating a potential flush draw. Solranous put in two grand, and Kisara followed with the equivalent representation.
"Straightening. Potential Flush."
Solranous looked at Kisara's hand, seeing a suited Queen/Six/Three. The dragon checked, and so did Kisara.
"No Help. Potential Flush."
Solranous now had a two with his two queens, and checked his down cards. He nodded to himself, and checked. Kisara, in response, tossed in what was left of what she had already stripped off, and Solranous made the appropriate call.
Azure dealt out the last two cards, and waited for the two of them to make any bets, Solranous had a longing gaze fixed on Kisara, before he finally snapped.
"damn it, the more I look at you like that, the more I want to finish this match up, This'll be the last hand, All in."
That's exactly what Solranous did, pushing in nearly 2.8 million in chips.
Kisara complied by stripping herself bare. Azure blushed as he hid his eyes from her, knowing that if the dragon caught him looking at her, that he would very nearly kill him. He dealt the final two cards, and the two of them revealed their down cards. Kisara indeed had her flush, while Solranous had pulled off the victory with a full house. Kisara giggled, pushing it all toward him, before jumping on to his lap and kissing him on the lips.
Azure turned around and vanished, giving the couple the privacy they deserved.

Solranous:
No argument there *is still kissing with Kisara, then picking her up and vanishing to another room*
Myrr: Now I miss Shive even more...
Xeno-Myrr: Maybe I could keep you occupied until he comes back? *waving tail back and forth.*

Kisara: Yes, I would do something like that if presented the opportunity, now less talking! *kisses him again*
