"Whoo! Here by popular demand, bitches!" -Thaea
Name: Thaea
Age: 190 (19 in human years)
Alignment: Good
Species: Dragonkin
Height: 7’9
Weight: 352 pounds (compact muscle)
Length: 4 feet
Wingspan: 14 feet
Description: A lithe (yet still bearing *cough* significant curves), anthropomorphic dragon in appearance, Thaea’s skin color is a tan-brown in color (not quite like a sun tan, but very close), with patches of steel-gray scales running up her forearms, shins, and several sections of her back. She has a rectangular muzzle, like her father, and digitigrade foot-claws like her mother’s. She bears two smooth, spike-like horns on either side of the back of her head, and the iris’s of her eyes are a golden-yellow in color. Her hair, of which comes down to the middle of her back (and of which a few locks are blade-shaped), is two-toned in color- starting out as black at the scalp and abruptly transitioning rapidly into a crimson about a third of the way down. She’s usually wearing a black or gray tank-top and extremely faded, worn-out jeans (color may have once been navy). Her wing-leather is a dark, dark-gray in color, and like her mother, her wings can fold seamlessly into her back.
Abilities:
Breath Weapon- Every five minutes or so, Thaea can exhale a spray of what can only be described as a combination of acid and gasoline. The attack is a lime-green fluid that has acidic properties as powerful as her father’s breath weapon, but if exposed to any sort of fire or extreme heat, will explode much (or, exactly) like gasoline would. Usable once every several minutes.
Physical Prowess- Deriving strength from a pair of parents who’re physically potent, Thaea boasts an impressive ability to lift/exude roughly 5 tons of weight. Thanks to her leg muscles, she can move at speeds roughly 40 times that of a human’s. She’s damned durable as well, her skeletal structure able to withstand a good ton-½ of force before breaking.
Latent Telekinesis- Like her grandfather, Thaea has an innate telekinetic ability. However, because of a genetic ‘defect’ involving her father’s unfortunate genes, Thaea cannot refine this mental power, and instead of being able to use it in more subtle fashions (I.e. forced regeneration, lifting/throwing, etc.), she can only disperse it in rough bursts of concussive force. She can channel it into semi-transparent ‘waves’ or ‘explosions’, and that is roughly its shaping extent. While normally, one of the ‘blasts’ would be enough to crush a car, this ability rises in potency when Thaea is put under increasing physical and mental stress, topping out at the equivalent of about 5 ton’s worth when she is downright pissed and in a heated battle. However, the longer she uses the ability/the more of it she focuses, the more energy it takes from her, the less she can control it, and may even cause mental backlashes, knocking her out cold for a time.
Soul Flare- A trick learned from her father, Thaea can channel massive amounts of her spiritual energy into a devastating 10-foot wide beam of orchid-colored energy. The blast has a range of over 200 feet, and has enough coupled force to vaporize any lower-level opponents while heavily injuring mid-to-higher level opponents. The attack is capable of tearing through any spirit-based energies with little effort as well, but due to the taxing cost, Thaea can only use it once a day, and is heavily drained after using said attack.
Telepathy- Thaea is capable of basic telepathic communication and, with varying levels of concentration, pry into minds with moderate defenses. At times, she may not be able to control this when it’s active, and accidentally broadcast her thoughts to someone she’s speaking with.
Bloodrage- Three times per day, Thaea can enter a state of such unbridled anger that she literally undergoes a minor transformation. Her testosterone levels skyrocket(granting her more speed), her muscles increase in size and density (giving her another ton’s worth of strength), her scales become coated in her own blood, of which both hardens them and the blood becomes corrosive; she produces a pheromone that targets the amygdala (portion of brain that controls fear) of those who are exposed to it, up to a radius of 50 feet. Finally, Thaea’s skeletal structure has spurred forth spikes long enough to pierce her scales/skin (but only barely), and durable enough to assist in combat. This rage lasts for roughly five minutes at a time (or until forced out of it), and Thaea’s usually exhausted afterwards. She can’t determine between friend or foe in this state.
Detect Magic- Thaea can detect any sort of magic within her range of sight, as well as determine what type of magic it is.
Resistances- Due to her heritage, Thaea is completely immune to almost all forms of acid, and has a minor resistance against heat (can withstand up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit). Her rising telepathic skills also hinder mental trespassers a bit.
Personality: Thaea’s a lot like her mother (and ‘aunt’) personality-wise: Bubbly, outgoing, cheerful (usually), and a bit on the frisky side (by that we mean a frisky streak a mile wide; once she gets started hitting on someone it’s hard to stop her, male or female…). She has an excellent sense of humor, learning practical jokes from her mother and grandparents, and some of her mentor’s cynical sarcasm. She’s almost always happy-go-lucky and stubborn as hell, but when seriousness calls, she can be almost… scary, considering she has both her parent’s tempers. She’s proud of her physical build (and likes showing it off on occasion ‘>.>), and can be rather cocky and/or tomboyish at times. Her connection to Krieger seems to go past being rivals…
History: Thaea hails from a time roughly two centuries in the future, wherein technology is extremely advanced, and Nightshade is vastly different from how it is today. The Abandoned District is completely destroyed, as is part of the mountain range. The humans are now fully aware of paranormal activity, and yet are still struggling to cope with it, but the organization Precinct 13 manages to keep the peace well. The main villains in this time are extraterrestrials known as Einst, extremely powerful ‘pseudo-organisms’ bent on destroying all human life for vague reasons.
Now we get to the star of this page. Thaea was born and raised in good old Nightshade, with her parents- you guessed it, Shive & Myrr. Taught by almost all of the Nightshade ‘veterans’, Thaea turned out to be an exceptional woman in respects of knowledge, strength, sheer power, and morality… sort of, were it not for the fact she’d taken after her mother and pseudo-aunt a bit too much. Thaea seems to have clashed with one of the Einst higher-ups, an entity by the name of Einst Krieger, the most fearsome under the Einst patriarch himself. It seems that Krieger played a vital role in the Einst’s coming to Earth over half a century ago, but the main problem itself started over two centuries ago. After her father and grandfather had been mortally wounded in a battle against Krieger and the other two Einst generals, the O’Malley of that time conceived a way to send her back to the point in time where the Einst threat first started- 2009. Like her mother before her, Thaea’s come to our time to stop a tragic event from occurring… but Krieger seems to have other plans.
Equipment/Belongings:
Nanotech Armor- A set of angular red pieces of armor covering the forearms, forelegs, waist, upper torso/back, shoulders, and head, this armor, when activated, produces a black, rubber-looking ‘sheath-suit’ over the un-armored areas of the body. When active, the armor produces a sort of thin force-field, of which sheathes the wearer like another skin and aids the process of damage reduction, adding to the resistance already granted by the ‘rubber’ and metallic sections; and the right bracer stores a small holographic computer console The back-plate bears a small booster, increasing her own flight speed or allowing her short bursts on the ground. However, the suit’s main function and namesake would be the fact that it can repair itself at an astonishing rate, utilizing nanobots (of which also compose most of the black ‘rubber’). In fact, if the right bracer is mostly intact, the entire suit can regenerate itself! Minor slashes recover in several seconds, major damage in roughly half a minute, and the entire suit takes about 4 minutes.
052 Cyclone- Thaea has a very futuristic-looking, almost-bulky crimson motorcycle composed of a lot of angles and edges. The vehicle has a top speed of 150 mph, and produces no visible waste other than heat, emanated from its four exhaust pipes The bike is composed of an unknown, though highly durable metal, and fails to conduct heat and cold as much as it should. Its fuel source is unknown, but apparently it can run for days without needing to refuel. It has a multitude of compartments for storage, mostly for Thaea’s weaponry and Nanotech Armor.
VM Over-Rifle- A boxy-looking, chrome weapon measuring about 3-½ feet long with a rounded top-edge and a thin barrel, this is Thaea’s default ranged weapon. Why? Next to her spells, it’s all she needs; it’s several different guns in one neat package. Its total functions/appearances are listed in the following modes-
R-Mode: The base mode, the weapon brandishes the ability to fire thin bolts of pinkish energy at a rate equal to that of a machine gun, but each bolt bears the power of an assault rifle round. Rate of fire sustainable for up to 12 seconds.
B-Mode: The barrel slides inwards to allow a stumpy, hubcap-shaped barrel to protrude out around the previous barrel’s base. In this mode, the weapon fires off large spherical bursts of energy, each capable of punching through a concrete wall. Can only fire three at a time, and must wait in 10 second intervals before firing another set.
E-Mode: The bottom front-half of the weapon will rotate upwards and snap over the front end, lengthening it by at least another 3rd. In this mode, the weapon can fire off concentrated beams capable of piercing a heavily armored tank from at least a good half-mile away; one shot per every 20 seconds.
M-Mode: The only non-energy based mode, the end of the weapon will split open in thirds, allowing the three plates to pull outward and backward, revealing three micro-missiles, each roughly 6 inches in length; while the back of the rifle extends outward, forming a shoulder brace. Each missile is heat-seeking, and has roughly the strength of a pair of old hand grenades; the rifle stores up to six of these missiles at a time.
Buster Sword- mahq.net/mecha/gundam/seed/lineart/gat-x105-schwertgewehr.jpg Measuring a good 6 feet in length, this sword has cutting potential unlike most weapons, due to its dual functions- the beam portion of the weapon that can cut through solid iron, and the blade itself can vibrate to further aid the process of tearing through something flawlessly. All in all, with both functions active, the weapon can cut through nigh anything, but the beam generator can only be active for several seconds at a time.
