((MONTHLY CAMPAIGN))
The massive shadow of Nexus Valsion was cast over several city blocks as he stood atop the highest building downtown, a staggering 60 stories in height. His arms were folded, his eyes closed as masses of humans walked about on the city streets below. However, something about how they walked wasn't quite right... they all staggered about in a trancelike state, all gathering around the base of the building, none of them uttering a single noise. Nexus smirked under the faceplate grafted to his maw, then abruptly issued a roaring laugh over the nigh-silent city, its echo going for miles.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Finally... I have enough bodies... enough bodies to give my race a fighting chance... after this, we'll spread over the planet, like we've done so many times before..."[/glow]
His fists clenched as he added,
[glow=purple,2,300]"And this time, there is no Thalean Militia to stop us... no mass of gamma-ray genorators..."[/glow]
Several stray bolts of dark matter crackled off of his form as he finished,
[glow=purple,2,300]"No Harbinger of the Stars..."[/glow]
He glanced over to an armored figure standing on the edge of the roof, and asked,
[glow=purple,2,300]"Don't you agree...?"[/glow]
The figure merely crouched a bit and issued a low growl, making Nexus smirk. He turned his attention back to the hoardes of people gathering below...
[glow=purple,2,300]"We have the hosts... now we require the Cells and Materials... Teragus, Pyraxus, Crysalia... do not fail me..."[/glow]

Shiryu and Mercurio were inside Nightshade's skyline now and proceeded toward its center to search the streets from the air. They came to the city's tallest building noticing the two firgures on the top. Shiryu looked back to see if Mazinkaiser was still with them and noticed the bot was right with them.
"Any bets that those two up there are related to the incident at Machinima that Sol went to investigate? How about we give em a warm welcome", he tossed to the bot.
Mercurio stayed silent knowing that she would have to remain concentrated so as not to become a liability. She merely maintained her composure and a grasp of her spiritual energy so she could draw out a bolt if she needed.

Mazinkaiser turns and nods to Shiryu, "Lets go!" he yells. The two then hop down and stand right in front of the monsterous Nexus. Pulling out the two Kaiser Blades from his shoulders, Mazinkaiser stands firm in the presence of Nexus. "Wanna tell me why you're busting up our town?!"
Oooooh....good enterance.....what you get it from? G.I Joe?
Mazinkaiser ignored the voice and pointed his swords towards Nexus. "I just hope my training helps out..." Mazinkaiser mutters to himself.

Meanwhile, two fire engine like vehicles, a police car, a dump truck, and a cement mixer had converged onto on central area.
"You guys know the plan right?, the blue fire truck says to the others.
"Yes...we shall split up and aid the other fighters in the area. Mic shall come later on incase we need power boosts., the police car voices in a soft tone.
"GAH!! We've gone over it HOW many times?!?!, the other truck shouts.
"YEAH!! What brother said!!! the dump truck agreed.
"Both of you have no patience I swear....., the cement mixer mutters.
"Alright...Triple G...MOVE OUT!!. With that, the machines then mobilized to their positions.

Nexus simply casted a glance in Mazinkaiser's direction, and 'hmph'ed, returning his gaze to the city below.
[glow=purple,2,300]"'Busting up your town'? I fail to see any damage caused here. All I see is a crowd of feeble creatures on the ground below ready and willing to become hosts for my race. That..."[/glow]
He slowly lifted a clawed hand up and aimed it at Mazinkaiser, black energy crackling around it as he did so.
[glow=purple,2,300]"... and several nuisances trying to find an excuse to fight me. Now, if you'd please, I have work to do, and if you leave now, I won't assimilate the three of you. Does that sound fair? I don't have a problem, and you three get off free."[/glow]
He paused, then abruptly whirled around as a pair of spheres formed before his shoulder pylons, the left forming a red and the other forming a blue. Both shot forward and spiraled together, forming a purplish-pink stream of rotating energy that slammed into the oncoming Ryouki, drilling into his frame and pushing him further into the sky. The beam stopped, and a large, fleshy crater had been bored into the biomechanical wyrm's stomach, causing him to plummet to the streets below. Nexus clenched his hand, then slowly turned back to the others.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Well? What are you waiting for? You're passing up a perfectly good chance to live!"[/glow] He rumbled.

Shiryu looped backwards in a large arc bringing out his arm blades and 'igniting' a Night Slash on each arm as he rocketed in towards Nexus he went into a spiral causing the energy on the claws to envelop his form. As he neared Nexus he came into contact with the barrier causing it to show itself to the others around. He felt the energy in his arm blades wane and he shot back from the shield.
"Well that's an interesting trick but it'll have to go since we don't want you here anymore than you want us here", Shiryu said as he began to gather energy within his mouth.
He focused on the point where he had hit earlier and fired the beam at it causing it to flare again. As his stream waned so too did the barrier eventually dropping off itself.
As he closed up his mouth a large bolt of energy shot past him straight at Nexus followed by a pair of smaller shots that streaked after the first.
Well no time quite like now to see what they're capable of, Mercurio thought as she shifted to her armored state.
Shiryu called to Mazinkaiser, "Hey nows our chance to take shots on him get in while you can I've gotta recharge a moment."

Mazinkaiser had already ran ahead to attack Nexus with full force. He jumped up to where Nexus was and slammed both his swords against his chest. He force him downwards and smashed into the earth. A dust cloud forms and Mazinkaiser still attempts to the wound the monstrously powerful Nexus. A powerful wave of energy forces Mazinkaiser off Nexus and Mazinkaiser slides to halt himself. He pants as if he was out of breath. "My god..." Suddenly the sound of a police siren begins to echo in the air. Its howling doesn't hurt the ears of Shiryu, Mercurio and Mazinkaiser, but it paralyzes Nexus. The siren felt like it was melting their ears. "I shall aid you on this enemy..." the police car seemed to say to the other warriors there, then cried, "SYSTEM CHANGU!!!". It then spun its wheels, creating a cloud of smoke. Then it lauched up into the air, the lower halve of it folding downwards. Arms then shot out of the sides of the car and the front split and folded to the back. A purple robot was now in place of a normal police vehicle. "VOLFOGG!!!"The ninja like robot then lands beside Mazinkaiser, arms crossed and almost silent as it landed. "Don't worry, I'm not your enemy, Mazinkaiser and Shiryu." he spoke to the two, "Now...lets get down to business!!" ((Authors Note: Volfogg in all his glory)) |

Nexus snarled, rising to his feet.
[glow=purple,2,300]"It seems... you are this willing to throw your lives away..."[/glow]
His barrier reformed with a surge of energy, his claws crackling with massive bolts of dark matter. His wounds were already healing as he growled,
[glow=purple,2,300]"BUT DO NOT SAY I DIDN'T GIVE YOU A CHANCE!"[/glow]
With that, streaks of black energy rushed out and slammed into the party, exploding violently on impact and ravaging their defenses. The Divine Arm then found itself in the Ether Lord's clawed hand, and he launched off several crescent-shaped waves of the dark matter at Shiryu and Volfogg, the attack slicing into both combatants. Nexus scowled, muttering,
[glow=purple,2,300]"That's enough from me... I'll let someone else handle the rest...!"[/glow]
With that, he jabbed a claw forward at his attackers and rumbled,
[glow=purple,2,300]"Harbinger... away with them!"[/glow]
At that, a silver blur flashed out and knocked Shiryu off of the skyscraper, then grabbed him by the arms as they both fell. A pair of yellow, featureless eyes stared into his before the arms were brought to the sides, and a pair of armored knees slammed into Shiryu's gut, followed by the feet, which kicked him away into the air. The silver-and-dark-blue entity spread a pair of triangular wings as its jets flared, and it clenched its fists, staring the airborne Shiryu down.
This entity was none other than Garrett, with Varion donned.

Shiryu spiraled to the ground from Garrett's assault and lay there for a moment as his regeneration kicked in and healed his body. Mercurio however had put distance between herself and Garrett as she charged up a round of shots to barrage him with.
She eventually loosed a Broad Bolt and a slew of Standard bolts upon Garrett hoping to catch him off guard or distract him so that Mazinkaiser or this Volfogg character could get in some shots on him.
Having laid there for almost 2 minutes Shiryu's regen had finished and he shot back up into the air to return to the fight.

Volfogg jumped in front of Shiryu, landing with two large golden shikuren in his hands. "Go take care of Nexus," the violet machine says to Shiryu, "I will deal with this foe."
With that, he jumps towards Varion, slashing towards Garrett/Varion with his weapons. The armored clad warrior literally grabs the bladed weapons with his bare hands, making Volfogg gasp in shock. To shake the grapple, Volfogg kicks the controlled Varion backwards, making him stumble. Volfogg then lands onto another building in the eyesight of Varion. "I see....hopefully I won't have to kill this man..." Volfogg says to himself, "But if I must...I will see the end to my wrath!!"
Mazinkaiser then flies at Nexus, his forearms spinning. He then delivers a spinning punch to the chest of Nexus, seeming to have no effect. Mazinkaiser then tries to give another punch to Nexus, but is forced backwards by the barrier the was erected around the dark warrior.
Suddenly, the sky is then pierced by a green bolt shooting towards Nexus. The bolt then forces Nexus backwards into a building, resulting in heavy amounts of damage. The pure energy then forms a familiar lion shape, Kaiser Galion had arrived.
"What took you so long?" Mazinkaiser grunts Kaiser Galion.
"Because you looked pathetic in battle..." Kaiser Galion snarls to the super robot, "And this guy was giving me a bad taste. I minus well take out the trash here."
"Well said, but words are nothing against action!" Mazinkaiser shouts. "Exactly what I was thinking!!" Kaiser Galion roars and the two then fly towards Nexus, Mazinkaiser giving a punch and Kaiser Galion tackling Nexus. Nexus Valsion then flies through a building, rubble falling from the sky and the two wait for another attack.

With that, dozens of bolts of dark matter crackled through the settling dust and slammed into both Mazinkaiser and Kaiser Galion, slamming them into the building the fight had began on. Nexus gave a wary glance to the humans below, and gave an angry growl before asserting his telepathic control over them and issuing an order to find shelter.
[glow=purple,2,300]The plan cannot go over if all the hosts are killed in this idiotic squabble...[/glow] He thought.
With that, he focused on his two mechanical oppresors, infusing the spherical barrier around him with dark matter, making it visible as a black, semi-transparent bubble about the Cromian. He abruptly rocketed forward with astounding speed, roaring,
[glow=purple,2,300]"AS PATRIARCH OF MY SPECIES, I CANNOT FAIL THEM! NOT NOW, NOT EVER!!"[/glow]
He abruptly slammed through the two Super Robots, his barrier's blac tint fading quickly as he glanced over his shoulder and inspected the damage he'd done to the smaller machines. The speed's concussive force and the dark matter's ravaging properties had torn off one of Mazinkaiser's forearms and left the rest of him heavily dented and scorched, while Kaiser Galeon had suffered a similar fate, but had lost two feet (on the same side) in the attack. He smirked, then whirled around, Divine Arm in hand, and smashed both opponents back into the concrete street below.
Meanwhile, Varion simply stared at Volfogg and Shiryu, making no movements whatsoever, and the only sound issuing from him was a slight growl every so often. Finally, he broke the stillness by slicing out the roof below Volfogg with a Star Buster, then shot forth and drove a Nova Burst straight into the distracted ninja's chest, the following explosion of energy sending Volfogg out of the office complex and skidding across the street below. The Thalean Harbinger then focused his sights on Shiryu, and streaked across the air toward the freshly-regen'd fighter. A string of whirling mid-air kicks drove Shiryu back into the original building, followed up with a Nebula Pulse that had smashed Shiryu through even further, destroying several support beams and slagging the concrete basement around the Reaper in the process.
Garrett/Varion slowly nodded, then quickly drew forth his Orion Blades as he waited for his opponents to recover.

Shiryu slowly pulled himself out of the slag slightly charred. He shot back into the air driving his slag covered knee into Varion's face. He gave a quick rotation in the air and nailed varion with his fist that was encased in semi cooled slag breaking it off and putting distance between himself and Varion. He ignited the Heru-Faia Tansen and sent an energy wave at his well versed foe.
Mercurio also sent a stream of arrows at Varion's position to try and pin him down ensuring he would take some form of damage. She followed the hail with a large explosive bolt behind Shiryu's attack adding to the pressure.
"Dammit how the hell did they get him to behave this way. I didn't sense anything malicious about him when I first saw him at Machinima", Shiryu muses to himself. He finally notices the damage done to Mazinkaiser and Kaiser Galion. "shit they need some serious help unless they can pull an ace in the hole."
He looses another Abyssal Stream at Nexus in hopes of slowing him down to give the two mechs a chance to regroup.

Volfogg quickly jumps out of the office, his shikuren in hand. He then spins in the air and the blades are covered in a mirror like film. "SILVER MOON!!" the machine yells and then throughs the blades at Varion. The blades cross and then pin Varions arms together the blades locking around his body like a chain. Volfogg then lands a kick to the chest of Varion and forces him into the building again.
Varion breaks out of his binding and then charges at Volfogg with his Orion Blades but is countered by a small helicopter that is the size of a human. The helicopter repeatedly hits the Orion Blades with its copter blade, protecting Volfogg from harm. "Thank you GunGlue." Volfogg mutters to the machine.
Suddenly another vehicle, this time a hover bike then flies up and begins blasting Varion with machine gun rounds. Varion turns towards the hover bike but then is punched in the face by Volfogg, which sends him flying further into the building. The two small vehicles then got to the sides of Volfogg who retrieved his Silver Moon shikuren. The two vehicles quickly transformed into robots, being the same height as Volfogg. The two machines differed however by their helmets. GunDober, the hover bike, had a dog like helmit with a green visor, while GunGlue had a hawk like helmet with the same green visor and the helicopter blades on his back. The three machines then prepared themselves for Varion's next attack.

This time, under the combination of the various onslaught of attacks, Varion actually issued a grunt of pain through the armor. However, something seemed wrong with his voice... it seemed, well, off-pitch somehow. The astral warrior staggered out of the building, eyes wide before launching himself at astounding speeds at Volfogg, clotheslining both GunMachines as they charged him, then whirled aorund and hurled them both into Volfogg himself before blasting the trio with a Nebula Pulse, sending them both flying into a slagged section of the street below. Without hesitation, he then lashed his head in Mercurio's direction and fired off a Star Buster, taking out a chunk of foundation underneath her and causing it to collapse.
The battered and dented Varion/Garrett finally turned his attention back to Shiryu, who currently had his back turned. Bad call on his part. Varion's jets all flared before he rocketed forth and drove his foot square into Shiryu's spine, causing a loud, resounding 'crack' to issue through the area as Varion held his foot there for several more seconds, then abruptly whirled about and brought his other foot square into Shiryu's rib, smashing him into the lower levels of another building. Varion's placid, emotionless eyes scanned the area, waiting for his combatants to show back up again. Meanwhile, Nexus hadn't expected the incoming Abyssal Stream, and it had managed to lower his shield's strength for several seconds...

Pain erupted in Shiryu's spine as soon as Varion landed to blow in his back. As he was shot into the building it snapped back into place with the help of his regen and bouncing around inside the construct in lucky ways. Finally his tour of the building's innards halted and he shot up the buildin on the inside causing the glass on the outside to burst as he quickly reached the point where Nexus was hovering. He erupted out of the building hitting Nexus with a pair of Night Slashes sending him into the adjacent building.
Shiryu quickly concentrated his energies and released his signature move the Nine Fragments pinning Nexus to the building and interupting his energy flow to keep his barrier down. Shiryu closed on Nexus with blinding speed ramming a full powered Heru Faia Tansen into his gut and flared the aura around it on impact. after the blow he backed off from Nexus to prevent a quick reversal and awaited Mazinkaiser and Galion to rejoin the fight. His breathing had finally quickened as he was expending enormous amounts of energy in such a short time.
Meanwhile Mercurio was providing suppressive fire for Volfogg against Varion after having recovered from the building collapse. She unleashed a steady stream of Standard Bolts at Varion hitting him with every other shot. She drew close to him with every shot as well even with his imposing power and ability to dodge. Once in close range she loosed a Broad Bolt right in Varion's face. She quickly backed away not wanting to take heavy retaliation but staying in sight to act as a distraction.

Volfogg quickly stood back up after getting blasted by Varion. "You have excellent tactics...but I haven't even begun to fight!!" Volfogg shouts to Varion, "Mirror Coatingu!!"
The robot then jumps into the air, GunGlue and GunDober jumping up with him. The purple robot then shouts, "Sanmitai!!" and GunDober and GunGlue are also covered in the Mirror Coating. The two machines then transform into a pair of giant arms. Volfogg then transforms back into his car form, then has his back trunk of the police car then folds back and forms legs and the front hood of the car folds to the underside of the car.
Volfogg spins around and GunDober attaches to Volfogg's right side and GunGlue attaches to his left. Folding his arms, and the G-Stone on his forehead shining brightly, the newly formed robot shouts his name to his opponents.
"BIG VOLFOGG!!!"
The robot now stands a bit taller than Varion, his new form shining in the sun's light. "You shall now see, the true force of Three G!!" Big Volfogg yells and charges at Varion with full force.
Meanwhile, Kaiser Galion and Mazinkaiser lay in the rubble. "Man....you really suck at this hero thing..." Mazinkaiser mutters to Kaiser Galion.
"You...do to..." Kaiser Galion barks back to Mazinkaiser. The two then stand up from the rubble and are covered in dents and scratches. Their G-Stones flare up with pure energy and they suddenly feel a massive power surge through their body.
"No more bulls**t!!" Mazinkaiser yells to Nexus and Galion snarls and the two charge and each form into a streak of pure green energy. The two attack from opposite sides and smash into the rips of Nexus. They then release a wave of Genesic aura that blasts Nexus from his standing point. The two then wait for Nexus to attack, their green auras covering their bodies.
