Cynder was in hiding. She was still in Hollow form, and far away from battle or anything else. Unfortunately for her, another demon had plans that didn't exactly involve a safe recovery. Without warning, two-and-a-half tons of hellfire and rage landed-or rather appeared-on her back.
"Know that this is not personal." Thanatos growled as his weight and momentum slammed Cynder into the ground. "But you must die. It is part of my debt."
As he finished plowing the dragon into the ground he grabbed both of her wings and pulled, breaking them at their midway point. To keep her down he stomped on the base of her neck.
"Again, I am sorry." He said as a flaming sword appeared in his hand.

(OOC: Man, you are really behind, Armageddon's long gone.)
Hollow Cynder hacked up blood, surprised by Thanatos' sudden appearence.
"SH*T! Nobody was suppose to find me here!" she howled, as energy coursed into her spine.
Before Thantos could blink, he was cut vertically up to the base of his neck, assuming he had one. The Hollow beneath him, managed to curl up and begin spinning, further damaging Thanatos and throwing him off. Uncurling and retracting the Cero energy from her back, Hollow Cynder growled,
"What the hell do you want from me? Why do you want me dead so badly!?"
She backed away as she fired off Cero after Cero, intending to run when she got an opening.

((I thought he was, but when you said she was in the Dunes of Death I checked here and he was still alive, so I assumed...my bad.))
"You can fight all you want, but you can't run and you can't beat me." As Thanatos said this his wounds caught on fire, and as the fire burned out the wounds were gone. "As for your question, you have to die because you are a Hollow. My master wishes you destroyed and it is my duty to oblige. Now, I am still allowed to kill you painlessly if you'll let me. Or, if you insist on fighting or running, I will hunt you down and remove your limbs and organs bit by bit, savoring your suffering before finally extinguishing your essence. Please, for your own sake, submit to a quiet death here and now."

(OOC: I merely chose it for its obscurity, sorry for confusion.)
Hollow Cynder visibly gulped when she saw Thanatos regenerate so quickly.
'Sh*t, Sh*t, Sh*t, Why!? damn IT!'
"Hell will freeze before I let you kill me!" the Hollow roared defiently, still trying to think of the possible ways to escape, the most promising ones being letting hordes of Gillian distract him while she flew away, and distracting him with a few pulses of her Flame Fury...
And even that left the question of how to keep him from finding her again.
Sh*t...
Hollow Cynder stayed true to her words, firing more Ceros at the Hellborn... Though if recent developments weren't lying, it was a fruitless endeavor.
"You know... that is my body your using... could you at least try not to get killed? Don't get me wrong, I hate your guts, but its a bit problematic for me if you die." Cynder noted, trying to force her way back out.
"You little midget! Those are my lines!" Hollow Cynder scowled back. The Hollow dragon wouldn't give up without a fight... no matter how fruitless it seemed...

"Hollows." Thanatos muttered, annoyed. "They always have to go out fighting."
In a flash of flame the sword disappeared from his hand. He surrounded his hand in hellfire and flung it at the Hollow dragon, intercepting one of her Ceros. As Cynder prepared to find another one, Thanatos suddenly wasn't there. Cynder quickly, frantically, scanned the area looking for her target.
Before she realized what was happening, Thanatos opened a gash down most of the length of her back with his sword, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. She didn't even have time to realize how much damage had been done before he kicked her into the ground. Then he slowly, almost casually walked over to her and stood over her.
"Do you know Shive?" He asked.

"What is he to you?"
...
Wait... maybe she could save her own hide with this...
"Okay, ignore that last sentence, yeah, I know him, and if you are looking for him, I'll tell you were I last saw him under one condition...
You let me get out of this alive.
It probably wouldn't work... but she was getting desperate, and she doubted he would fall for the Cero Saw again.

"Interesting. You're making demands in your position." Thanatos mused. "I want to...talk to him about something. You need to bring him to me, don't tell him why. If you do, I won't kill you."
Or at least I'll hold off till it's more convenient.

"'Bring him to you?' Do ya take me for a fool? The dragonkin's a f***ing Vizard! I couldn't even think of beating him with thousands of Gillian and at full power! He'd cut them all down before they could actually do anything to restrain him when I find him, let alone long enough to bring him to you! Can't we work something else out?" Hollow Cynder exclaimed, paling behind the half-a-mask that she had.

"Hollow, you truly are a stupid being. I want to talk to him. Let your other side out, for a little while. She'll cooperate for survival. Shive is an old friend of mine, and the only connection I really have to my wife. I want to talk to him. Just ask him to meet me here under such circumstances. That's the deal. You have 48 hours to comply. Fail, try to escape, or anything of that sort, and you will die in the most painful way I can possibly execute."
Shive's a Vizard, huh? Interesting.

...
This wasn't going the way she hoped...
...
And it had been awhile since the hellborn had found and attacked her... She no longer had any clue where he could be now...
'Remember what I said? It's a has-'
'SHUT UP YOU LITTLE MIDGET! THERE IS NO WAY I'M LETTING YOU BACK OUT! Who knows when I'll get another chance...'
'You won't get another chance if, say, the two of us die. So let me back out! You'd better or I'll force my way out.'
'Oh gee, I'm so scared, NOT. You couldn't force your way out of a wet paper bag! I'm not even TRYING to hold you back, your that pathetic.'
Cynder really was trying to get out... and if what the Hollow said was true...
...
Sh*t...
'Why the F***ing hell do you keep insisting on staying in control? You'll get us both killed! And if you do... I can't believe I'm going to say this... at least there is another chance for you to get out again, not that I wouldn't let you out without a fight.'
The Hollow unconsciously bit her lower lip, mulling it over. Let go or hold on, let go or hold on, let go or hold on, let go or hold on...
'FINE! just... just take the damn body back... I still hate you though. Hollow Cynder finally relented.
The dragon's eyes had returned to normal, and Cynder wasted no time in ripping the mask off, reverting back to her young child self.
"Finally, and now to find that dragonkin," Cynder muttered, before craning her neck to look up at Thanatos, mentally shuddering, and asked, "Could you please get off of me so I can go find him?" in the least infuriating way possible.

"Of course. Know that I would even go so far as to heal you, but being a Hellborn I do not have such...abilities." He said, getting off of the small dragon. "Shive should agree to meet. If he seems hesitant, which he probably will, just drop the little bomb that I'll butcher you right there in front of him if he doesn't."
Thanatos turned to walk away and then stopped for a second. He turned back as if he was about to say more but changed his mind and again turned away.
I hope you come Shive. A lot of lives rest on you.

The wyrmling gulped,
"Ah, no need to worry about healing, a lot of my injuries seem to go away each time I go back and forth from child to adult and back to child..."
Without another word, Cynder flew, looking for the dragonkin.
