Daedalus stood in the center of the desert, a massive circular wall of churning dust extending about 2000 feet out from his position, blocking out the gray sky with dust. His eyes were closed and his arms were crossed, yet a smirk was on his face.
"That dumbass thinks he can take me? Still?! Hmph. I'll kill him for good this time." He laughed.
His scowl vanished when he noticed Arthreonus didn't reply. In fact, the demon lord was completely silent.
"What is it?" He asked.
Oh... nothing.
Daedalus scowled, then shrugged it off as he spotted a shape bursting through the dust-barrier. Shive, in all of his newfound spite and anger, unsheathed Hakaisha as he floated a few dozen feet from Daedalus's position. His face was expressionless, and Daedalus couldn't help but laugh.
"What's the matter? Finally come to the realization that-"
"UNARRIEN, HIDOIHAKAISHA SHIMIKERI." Shive interrupted him.
He was enveloped in a burst of orchid light, and his Bankai form was revealed. He scowled, bringing his claw to his face as the already shocked Daedalus asked Arthreonus,
"Th-that's not his energy... is it?!"
Arthreonus gave a mental, surprised nod, and Daedalus blanched, then shook it off.
"Bah! Nothing I can't handle!"
Shive's reiatsu darkened as bolts of black energy spiraled into his open palm, forming the Vizard mask. He placed it on his face, and his reiatsu expanded to twice it's original size. Daedalus was on the verge of wetting himself.
"IT ENDS HERE, NOW." The Vizard boomed.
Daedalus growled, and was about to respond when his arm was severed from his shoulder in a spray of blood. He roared in pain before Shive fired a point-blank Cero in Daedalus's face, busting off the top half of the half-fiend's armor, rending holes in his wings, and horribly mangling Daedalus's face as he crashed to the ground. The half-fiend spat out blood as he screamed mentally,
THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE! HE'S... HE'S KICKING my ass, AND I HAVEN'T EVEN TOUCHED HIM!
Shive raised Hakaisha and roared,
"HEKI ZA REIKON!"
The thousands of tiny energy beams pierced Daedalus's body, making multiple tiny sprays of blood erupt from Daedalus's body. Shive scowled deeper under the mask before he shoved the blade through Daedalus's chest, then ripped it out to the side in another eruption of red, now with a few organs. Daedalus tried to screamed, but the blood in his throat was choking him. The half-fiend began to show fear as he asked Arthreonus,
D-do something, or I'm gonna die! Arthreonus! HELP ME, YOU UNGRATEFUL B*STARD!
All he heard was his heartbeat, then a cold, harsh laugh.
I don't need you anymore.
Daedalus's eyes shrank as he shakily turned back to Shive, who now stood over the downed half-daemon. Shive's eyes were full of bloodlust, hate, and... a smirk. He raised the blade as he boomed,
"IRONIC, ISN'T IT?! THIS IS EXACTLY HOW SEVRA, MOTHER, AND FATHER ALL LOOKED BEFORE THEY DIED! BY YOUR HAND, NO LESS!"
The energy blade cleaved clean through Daedalus's midsection as Shive screamed,
"BEG FOR MERCY! DO IT! JUST LIKE THE THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT SOULS YOU'VE TAKEN ASKED FOR! YOU SHOWED THEM NONE, SO I SHALL DO THE SAME!"
Daedalus began to shake as Shive raised the blade, and the dragonkin-Vizard hissed,
"You've had this coming for far too long..."
Daedalus couldn't even scream as the blade was shoved through his forehead, and out of the back of his skull. Shive ripped the blade out violently, sending the remains of Daedalus's gray matter spattering across the sand. Shive's Bankai and Vizard mask wore off, and a shadow appeared behind him. The shadow had large, bat-like wings and horns like that of a ram's. It had hooved feet and a long tail tipped by a stinger.
[glow=purple,2,300]"You've done your job. Excellent. Now I do mine, and you come with me."[/glow]
Shive grimly nodded, and looked up at the sky, eyes tearing over.
If I could, I'd tell you all...

that I regret causing you so much trouble...
Daedalus's corpse, the shadow, and Shive all then vanished from thin air, never to be seen again...
