The armored figure sat atop a rooftop not far from Shive's house, a bulky red machine resembling a motorcycle sitting on the road below. Its legs dangled over the sides, lightly kicking as its helmeted head bounced from shoulder to shoulder, humming to itself. It appeared to be mostly covered in some sort of skin-tight, black rubber suit, the forearms, shins, chest/back, pelvic region, and head covered in an angular red armor, appearing rather technological in appearance. A large sword, similar in appearance, but of a chrome-and-silver coloration, was strapped across its back. Its feet seemed to be digitigrade claws, the bone-sections of which poking out of the 'rubber', and a long tail, also sheathed in the 'rubber', protruded forth from the thing's hind.
It seemed rather sleek and well-built in physical appearance, but because of the suit, one could not tell. The light glinted off of its gold-colored visor as it muttered in a distinctive feminine voice,
"Funny... I could've sworn their home was around this area... huh."
Then again, I could be miles off... this place doesn't exist in my time... It added, biting its unseen lip.

"And who might you be?" a particular voice inquired. Said voice revealed herself to be an armorless Myrr. The half dragon looked over the figure on the roof quickly while hovering over the street with her wings, so that she was at eye level.
'Say, whose the new person?' Xe asked while still inside their house.
'Dunno... but I can't shake the feeling that I should know...' Myrr replied to her dark half.
Myrr furrowed her eyebrows while waiting for the newcomer to respond, trying to puzzle out her feelings meannwhile.

The figure yelped and rolled backwards all at once, screaming as it got back to its feet,
"YOU SCARED THE F*CK OUTTA ME!! Don't do that."
It sighed, shoulders slumping, then seemed to straighten its back and puff out its chest, hands on its armored hips as it replied to Myrr's original question,
"I am an entity from another time, much like yourself! I have come to this time to stop an event from happening that will cause a lot of trouble for those in the future...! ... again, like yourself."
She sniffed, still in her stance, then abruptly exhaled, slumping forward. She cracked her neck, then raised clawed hands to her helmet as she finished,
"Name's Thaea. And I..."
She removed her elongated helmet, revealing a charismatic draconic muzzle, similar in shape to Shive's, but with an apparent lack of scales. She opened a pair of golden-yellow eyes and shook loose a head of long, black-and-red, semi-blade-like hair. The sun glinted off of two smooth, dark-gray horns jutting from the back-top of her head as she finished with a grin,
"... am your daughter."

Myrr just hovered there in silence, eyebrows furrowing more, before she held a hand up to her head and shook it.
"Wow... Deja vu... 'Cept I'm the one on the receiving end this time."
She flew towards Thaea, landing on the roof next to her.
"Nice to meet you... seeing as introductions are out of the way because you obviously already know me. After all, it is kinda hard to forget one's own mother..." the half dragon quipped, chuckling a bit, and held out her hand to Thaea.
"Whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat!? Myrr's daughter!?" Xeno exclaimed as she scrambled up to the roof by scaling the wall with her claws and talons. Hanging off the side of the roof, she compared the faces of the two.
"Well I'll be damned... the resemblence is there..."

Thaea laughed, shaking Myrr's hand quickly. She then gave a toothy grin to Xeno and replied,
"Heh, it should be there... I got my devilish good looks from my mother's side! And good to see ya, Auntie Xeno!"
Fang poking out from between her closed lips, she stretched her arms, popping her back in the process.
"I really hope I don't have to explain who the father is, but knowing how smart you two are, I think ya got it..."
She ruffled her hair, then let her hands slap against her armored thighs. She paused, looking down at the suit, then grumbled something as she flipped a panel open on her right bracer. She seemed to press a button on a holographic screen, and the black 'rubber' abruptly disapeared into the sections of red armor. Thaea then peeled these off, dropping them in a pile on the ground next to her.
"There we go, much better..." She sighed with a smile.
It seemed Thaea's skin coloration was a bronze-tan of sorts, and her choice of apparel being a pair of extremely faded, and slightly ripped gray pants, complimented by a black tanktop of sorts. She folded her arms over her chest, and asked,
"Well...! Uhh.... pfft. Any other questions...? I'll be here a while..."

"Auntie... Xe... no?" said hybrid said, eye twitching. The dark half of the duo let out some strange mix between a screech and a moan as she fell off, a 'thud!' emminating from the ground as she hit.
Myrr sweatdropped at what Xeno did, before chuckling lightly to herself. The half-dragon abruptly stopped though, and turned a hardened gaze towards Thaea.
"Yeah, I got a question... What gave you reason to come back in time? And of what magnitude are we talking?" Myrr asked, voice firm.

Thaea sighed, turning her gaze to the ground.
"Well.... I'm here to keep someone from... dying, essentially."
She tilted her head back, arms folded as she closed her eyes.
"Someone you know today will be put through an extremely fierce fight, and will essentially be left for dead, with no way of anyone to reach him. There, he'll be found by a group of extraterrestrial creatures known as 'Einst' that have been laying dormant on the planet. They'll take him and rebuild him as one of their own, but they won't surface until another 170 years or so."
She grimaced, tilting her head back down and staring at her mother intently.
"But when they do... this person and his allies will open what's called the Cross-Gate and bring forth their main force from the deepest regions of space, of which includes their master, the Einst Regisseur- a being so powerful that even the combined forces of Nightshade's strongest residents could not defeat."
She sighed again, this one a bit heavier, before smiling at Myrr and replying,
"This is where I come in. After realizing we couldn't kill the damn things for good, we decided to stop the problem at its source. O'Malley designed a machine that'd send me back to this specific date, so I could stop the original event from occuring, thus changing the future for the better... unfortunately, such a change would strand me in this time..."
She clutched at her arm, muttering,
"It's... a sacrifice I'm willing to make..."

"Like mother like daughter..." Myrr commented at Thaea's story. The half-dragon also sighed.
"We'll need to tell Solranous, so he can inform the rest of our group, those who don't know yet, at least... That way we've got everybody looking for the guy. After all, just you being here has changed things... possibly for the worse, possibly for the better... but either way we need to move as fast as we can..."
Her head dipped down as she considered potential options, then realized a very important detail.
She didn't know who the person in question was...
"Uh... who is the person who is going to be rebuilt by these Einst?" Myrr asked, focusing her attention back on the futuristic dragonkin.
She could tell... things were about to take yet another step up in the 'WTF is going on here!?' scale... if such a scale existed...

Thaea scratched her cheek, giving a nervous laugh.
"Eheh... it's been so long since he told me his original name that I've forgotten..."
She furrowed her brow, tapping her foot impatiently.
"Gaah... this is embaressing... I think it started with a G..."
She snapped her fingers, then yelped,
"Aha! He lives across the street from you, if I remember correctly! ... if the event hasn't happened yet.... god I hope not..."
She jabbed her clawed finger at the abandonded building across from Sol's place.
"I think he has a suit of intelligent armor or something..."
She grumbled, trying to bring the name to light.
"damnit Krieger, you should've talked more..." She muttered.

Myrr's eyes lit up at that and the half dragon snapped her fingers.
"Garrett!" she exclaimed in recognition. Then she furrowed her eyebrows, "but I have no idea where he is right now... all the more reason to inform Solranous... if theres anybody that can find Garrett, or anybody for that matter, its him..."
Myrr turned to Thaea and smirked. "Last I knew, he was at the Floating Island off in the desert... That makes it pretty obvious where we should go."
She then scowled, picked up a rock that had, for whatever reason, been on the roof and chucked it down to where Xeno had fainted.
"Wake up sleepy head! We're gonna get on the move soon!"
She then returned to Thaea.
"That is... if you want to come with us... although I'm certain Solranous would be interested in meeting you."

Thaea grinned, nodding.
"Oh, I'm sure he would! And judging from what I'm sensing, Grandm- err, Kisara's out there too. There's several others I'm not very familiar with, though..."
She shrugged, then continued,
"Sure, I'll go. Of course, if what I heard is right, the event won't take place until those Cr... Cro... Cromians? I think? Those biomechanical things I heard about. The event won't occur until they start a siege on the city."
She sighed, putting a hand to her head as she gave another nervous laugh.
"Eheh... in any case, you'll have to lead the way... I'm not sure where the Floating Island is... it doesn't exist anymore in my time."

"Yeah, Cromians, but we can't afford trust that. Things could've changed. Best to be on the safe side." Myrr replied, just as Xeno climbed up into the air with her wings.
"Well, lets GO!" the half-dragon cried out, turning launching into the air and taking off at a decent speed. Xeno waited a few seconds, before surging off after her light half as well.

Thaea bit her lip, glancing down at the motorcycle-like machine below, and the stack of armor at her feet with a nervous look. She shrugged, muttering,
"Eh, nobody here'll take it."
With that, she placed her clawed feet on the ledge, then doubled over as a pair of draconic wings stretched out of her back, much like her mother before her had done. However, these were built more like her fathers, only larger in size.
"I doubt they can keep up here if they can hardly manage back home..." She pondered aloud, grinning.
With that, she abruptly rocketed into the air... fast. As in, creating a wind-tunnel-behind-her fast. She quickly closed the distance between herself and her mother and pseudo-aunt.
Wonder what the Floating Island is really like... She thought, flying between the two half-dragons and managing to keep pace.
