[Talon]

A single jet-shaped object was screaming down the length of the river, not 10 feet above its surface. Sunlight glinted off of the angular black fighter as it mused,

"Huh... it said they were around here somewhere... but where...?!"

It sighed, scanning the surrounding beachline as it slowed its pace a bit.

Boss'll be pissed at me if I don't find them soon.... the decontamination process alone takes a good hour... It thought.

It abruptly shifted modes in mid-flight, shifiting into its GERWALK mode, little more than a jet with arms and legs as it hovered over the river, then shifted fully into its Battloid mode, the full humanoid shape. Standing in a shallow section of the water, it rubbed the back of its head and sighed,

"You'd think this'd be easy, what with Xeno's unique signal..."

A black shape erupted from the surface of the river about seven feet in front of Nocturn, landing on the shoreline and shaking off water, before rubbing its ears.

"Ouch... Gotta remember that sound travels better in liquid then in air..." Xeno muttered, her ears somewhat sore and water-logged from her swim, she then turned to the source of said sound.

"Oh, hi, I guess you're from Machinima? What brings you around?"

Myrr dropped in next to Xeno when she noticed the latter jumping out of the water and the jet/humanoid robot, tilting her head quizzically at its appearence.

[Talon]

Nocturn sighed, shaking his head as he clapped his hand to his face.

Such poor memory, all of them... The Veritech thought.

He automatically snapped into a military position, left arm at his side as he then saluted with his right.

"I've been ordered by O'Malley to pick up Xeno, so she may receive her updated PED and armaments. We are to head to Tenkyanon as soon as possible for said appointment."

He stared down at them with his single crimson visor-eye, then added,

"The shuttle should be here shortly, whereupon we'll board it for a 20-minute flight to the ship, and Xeno shall be debriefed on her equipment. Any questions?"

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Xeno shook her head, "Nope, no questions."

Myrr muttered an agreement with that, before narrowing her eyes, finally face palming. "God bless it... sorry about forgetting who you were, Nocturn..." she said spologetically.

Xeno blinked a bit, "Wait, that's...?" Unsurprisingly, she face palmed as well. "Geh... Another thing I gotta remember..."

Myrr sighed to herself, and glanced up to the sky, a slight grin on her face. 'It's been so long...' she thought.

[Talon]

Nocturn mentally sighed, trying not to snap on Xeno at that statement. He shook his head and stated in a placid tone,

"Yes, well... I'm sure it must be such a burden to put a name to jet's face."

It was then several beeps came to his attention, and he nodded, turning around to see a 25-foot long ship descend from the sky and land on the edge of the beach, between the sand and forest grass. A hatch opened up in the back, whereupon a single purple-and-gray battle droid stood awaiting them.

"Well ladies, there's your ride...!"

The Veritech ushered them onto the vehicle, then hopped in as well as the hatch closed, and the variable mecha stood near the front of the storage bay. There was a row of several handles lined along the walls, and a single steel bench lining the wall under them.

"I'd suggest grabbing those, ladies... it'll be a bumpy ride." The droid droned to the two, doing as it reccomended.

The ship then slowly accelerated into the air, picking up speed as it did so.

"We are en-route to Teknyanon, will arrive in 20." The pilot droid's voice droned.

Xeno looked thoroughly embarrassed at the situstion, and grabbed a hold of one of the handle's as suggested. Myrr, however, neglected to do so, managing to go through the whole ride with out coming close to toppling over, looking as if she was used to such travel.

Xeno sighed to herself, wondering how it would feel to be on Tenkyanon, having never been in space before. However, from Myrr's expression and the memories the two shared, such could not be said for the light half of the duo.

The ship landed once more on the river bank, the hatch opening to allow the Myrr duo onto the sandy beach. Nocturn was hanging out of the open hatchway, giving a short salute as he barked, sailing into the air with the ship,

"See ya later!"

The hatch closed as the ship accelerated into the early-evening sky, the sun just barely beginning to droop behind the horizon. Roughly 15 uneventful minutes passed before another presence came to the two's attention... and it was standing on the river's surface. Well, actually... it was the river, in a sense. A humanoid torso formed from water stared at the two, the featureless stub of a head seeming to squint as it looked back.

Are you... known as... Myrr and Xeno...? It inquired in a voice similar to the rush of water.

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Myrr mentally tensed up at the newcomer, having never encountered someone like it before.

"Yes... but who are you? And how do you know our names?" Myrr returned to the strange water being, while Xeno glanced between the two, as wary about the newcomer as her sister was.

[Talon]

The elemental then replied without a single visible motion,

"I am a minion of the Vakil Urathear, and have been ordered to find the two specified by the Atonus Warmage known as 'Shive'. Your presence is required during the final Ascension test. You are to relocate to the cliffs on the edge of the desert as soon as possible. You shall find the testing grounds there. Enter and await further instruction... oh, and do come armed."

With that, the figure dissolved back into the river without a trace.

Myrr and Xeno looked at each other sternly after the elemental left.

"Great... what's that idiot gotten himself into now?" they asked each other, and sighed. "Better get moving..." With that, both of them took off for home to pick up Myrr's suit, then made a bee line for the cliffs.
