Description: Dirk is a skinny, athletic, tall, young-looking man in a black undershirt, (Like a workout shirt you know with no sleeves and an open neck.) that is fairly tight. He also wears khaki cargo pants that are very baggy around the ankles. He has dark brown hair that is about average length and is shaggy without looking unkept. He also wears Combat boots that are mostly covered by the baggy pants. He looks like an average young guy. The only thing unaverage about him is that the irises of his eyes instead of being a natural color are a striking crimson in color almost vibrant enough to glow in the dark. He also wears a large broadsword at his waste in a sheath which is itself A fine wine red in color and covered in a fine gold filigree. (Lines forming patterns in gold all down the sheath). Finally Dirk wears fingerless gloves made from leather the same shade of color as the sheath of his sword (sans the gold filigree) (note: both Sheathe and gloves are Fireproof and His clothes are flame-retardent, hence when he uses pyrokinseses he's not nude.)
Abilities:
Master Swordsman: Dirk is A master swordsman and has trained his body and mind to the point where he can use his swords in ways that bystanders would swear isn't humanly possible. The speed and ease with which he swings the obviously heavy sword and the way he handles it is above and beyond the limits of humanity. (Think like Guts from beserk but with normal size sword.)
Martial Artist: Along with his impressive sword skills Dirk also is quite skilled in hand to hand combat.
Pyrokineses: Dirk is capable of manipulating fire on a small to medium scale, this can include, projecting flames up and down the length of his blade, enveloping his limbs in flame, and also starting small cookfires among other things. (Note: nothing too cataclysmic just kind of a utility skill.) (Sub-Note: However in typical Dragoon fashion his fire skills get scary when he transforms.)
Power of The Dragoon: Using the power of the Red-Blaze Dragon Pyrus Dirk can become one of the mythical dragon warriors known as a "Dragoon". He gains complete control of the element of Fire which enhances and improves his pyrokinetic abilities as well as allowing him to cast a host of Fire Spells not normally open to him, He also gains wings and armor that is impervious to elemental Fire damage and his sword becomes much stronger than it is in his regular form. He can transform into this form at any time. (for more information on the Dragoon form see the next post.)
Dragon Fused: Because of how Dirk obtained his Dragoon spirit and how it is actually a part of his body, he is considered for all intents and purposes to be half dragon. This means he's about two to three times as strong and fast as a regular human in non-Dragoon form.
Personality: Dirk was a Mercenary for a very long time, therefore almost everything he does is done because of self interest. Despite that he is fundamentally a good person. He is also a little overwhelmed by this power that has been thrust on him and is not quite sure if he can handle it. He also comes from a large family and is rather good with small children.
History: Dirk Ashfall was from a very young age very interested in both the life of a soldier, and the myths and legends of this world. It would make sense then when he got older he would become a mystical sellsword. A soldier for hire specializing in all matters arcane. He was up in the mountains looking for job opportunities. (They're there if you know where to look.) when he stumbled across the end of a massive battle between A dragon and some mysterious flying guy with fog coming out of his back. (A winglie) The mystery man won the fight and the dragon was dying. Dirk hurried to the dragon trying to help him to no avail. With the dragon's last breath he bestowed Dirk with the power of the Dragoons, allowing Dirk to use the power of dragons, and an owners manual in the form of the dragon's mind sharing Dirk's head with him. Much to Dirk's chagrin.
Equipment: First-Aid Kit- It's really your typical first aid kit. Dirk keeps it on hand for emergencies.
Rune Blade: It's a magical sword, it can't be dulled, and is much more durable than any nonmagical sword made of the same material. It's also self cleaning. Dirk picked it up early in his career to save on maintenance costs.
Jeep: Dirk has a Military Jeep he bought from A surplus store for getting around quickly. It's got four wheel drive, and a cassete player. much more swanky than his old ride. which had 8-track by the way. livin in style!!
Motorcycle: He's also got a sweet motorcycle. A big huge HOG not one of those little sissy japanese crotch rockets. It has Nitrous lots and lots of nitrous. and comes with a detachable sidecar. uses it when he's in town.

(BTW: I'll try to have the Dragoon form up some time tomorrow and will have the dragon and antagonistic dragon murdering winglie up shortly after that.)

and what do you mean haven't heard of legend of dragoon!!!! Everyone who plays RPGs and owns a playstation has heard of Legend of Dragoon!!! but fine.
