Garrett paced along the top of the hill that bore the main power plant, one of many hills that eventually rose up into the mountains. Ryouki flew above him a good five-hundred feet or so amongst the gray-white sky, listening to the crunch of the snow beneath Garrett's feet. The biomechanical dragon iussed a sigh, glancing at the teen as he walked through the white substance, eyes focused on the ground and his hands jammed in his coat pockets. Ryouki shook his head, muttering,
"I suppose he's got a good reason to be like this... I just wish he'd find some sort of light in this darkness..."
Garrett eventually stopped near a short cliff, staring out at the not-too-distant city, face contorted into a scowl. He continued to stare for quite a while, scowl slowly deepening.

"A Harbringer that is only a child...." a dark voice says to the trio, "How displeasing." The black body of Lazengann fades into view in front of Garrett. His arms are crossed and a frown is place upon his face. The red eyes glared down to the young boy.
"You are but a dying scab on this universe. Something that must fall and become dust in this world. Everything and everyone you know....just decaying pieces of flesh. And yet....you continue fighting...." Lazengann says in a robotic but slightly human tone.
"Why....why do you continue fighting? Even though you are going to die later on. Why continue a useless fight?", Lazengann asks, still in a disgusted tone.

Without bothering to look at Lazangann, Garrett simply gave a weak laugh, replying,
"I tend to wonder this myself... I suppose we just like to think we can make a difference..."
His eyes hardened, and he continued,
"Perhaps we just do what we can... hoping it may be enough..."
He sighed, glancing at the machine for the first time, eyes narrowed.
"But everyone I know... fights to protect something..."
He cocked a half-smirk, finishing,
"Me? Well... I fight... just to bring people like you down with me... it's... all i can do, really."
He popped his neck, then casually activated Varion, his flesh becoming of a biomechanical sort before sheathing himself in the otherwordly armor.
"Yeah, it's not much of a reason, but... it's good enough for me." He stated.

Lazangann glares at Varion. "You are young and naive. Thinking you can take me on..." he mutters. His fingers twitched as he spread his arms out wide. The red on his body begins to glow brighter and brighter in seconds. "Then I shall teach you....not to mess with the Helix King!!"
Suddenly spiral drills shoot up from the ground under Varion. The biomechanical being jumps in the air as the drills sprout other drills from their bodies and climb higher in the air. From behind, Lazengann appears and punches Varion in the back of the head.
Varion heads towards the ground and Lazengann pushes his foot against the back of the warrior. Varion smashes into the ground and Lazengann picks the warrior up by the face. He drives his fist into the stomach of Varion. Not punching through the armor, but making it crack.
The robot then tosses Varion up into the air and tail slaps him across the ground. He glares down at the warrior then senses the presence of Ryouki. He turns to the dragon and ushers him to attack.

Garrett grunted, noting Laz was distracted, then barreled to his feet and rocketed forward, all in one fluent motion. Fist crackling with energy, he slammed the Nova Burst into the side of Lazengann's face, creating a detonation of energy on impact that caused the Helix King to skid backwards several dozen feet. With a roar, Varion/Garrett then somersaulted forward onto his hands and delivered a powerful, two-foot kick into the Anti-Spiral's jaw, sending him airborne... and into Ryouki's grasp.
"You're doing a terrible job of teaching us..." The dragon growled, a smirk in his voice.
With a powerful 'boom', Ryouki rocketed back to the ground and slammed Lazengann and himself into the ground, forcing the Helix King to take the brunt of the force. Ryouki staggered out of the dust, then backed up next to Garrett, nodding. The two then focused their attention on the haze, Varion muttering,
"Look out for those drills..."

Out of the mist, the black robot stood. His charcol metal body was literally unscathed from the previous attack by Varion and Ryouki. He snaps his neck to the side, releasing a small cracking noise from his neck. He repeats the action and releases the same sound as before. He slowly looks back at Varion and Ryouki, a glare infringed onto his face.
Suddenly at blinding speed, he appears in front of Varion and Ryouki. He punches Varion at blinding speed in the stomach before the warrior could react. He tail whips Ryouki in the face at the same speed then knees Varion in the chest. As the warrior keels over in slow motion, Lazengann rams his fist into the cheek of the Corona warrior. He then elbows the dragon ontop of his head and makes the steed to Varion start to fall over.
Lazengann then spin kicks Varion into Ryouki and sends them flying. Lazengann then stands straight up, looking down to the ground. His hand and arm begin to twitch with adrenaline. He raises his arm in blinding speeds and then releases drill tendrils from his arm. The tendrils stab and spike at the two warrior who floated in midair. The rapid attack continues with bloody fury and then Lazengann recalls the drills back. He raises his palm up and a fountain of drills erupts from the ground and stab into the hands, arms and legs of the warriors. The drills completely avoid any part that would vitally damage the two. The drills retract into the ground and Varion and Ryouki fall to their stomaches as they retreat.
Lazengann gives grunt of displeasure and crosses his arms once more. "I've still yet to use 1/6th of my power...and I don't think I need to on these two..." he mutters.

Garrett clenched his teeth in pain as he staggered to his feet, Ryouki doing the same.
"... that kinda hurt." Ryouki grunted.
Garrett shook his head, then glared at the Helix King. As Ryouki's maw filled with blue 'fire', the three points on Varion's chest pulled apart, drawing in an orchid-colored energy. Before either could fire, Garrett barrled forward and over Lazengann, then whirled around as Ryouki barreled at the Anti-Spiral weapon. Garrett high-kicked Laz just as Ryouki smashed the end of his tail into Laz, both attacks sending the black machine flying into the air, whereupon both Varion and Ryouki rocketed upwards with him.
The moment all three reached a good 50 feet off of the ground, both Ryouki and Varion discharged their projectiles, of which sandwiched the Anti-Spiral warrior and encased him in a swirling vortex of searing energy before a detonation occured between the two forces, sending the smoking, mangled Lazengann back towards Earth. Garrett then ripped forth both Orion Blades as Ryouki's claws crackled with green energy, then both dove at the falling Helix King. Both slashed into the machine at the same time, landing on opposite sides of the Anti-Spiral as he crashed back into the ground. Garrett blinked under the helmet, then asked,
"Var... you had a hand in that, didn't you?"
"Whatever do you mean?" The armor asked innocently.
Garrett smirked, then growled,
"No way in hell we could've pulled that off without practice..."
Ryouki laughed, then both fighters turned back to Lazengann.

"You still think you're doing this for good...yet you have no idea how much destruction it will bring...." Lazengann mutters, appearing from the haze, seemingly unscathed. His yellow eyes glare into the eyes of Varion and the machine balls up his fists. He slowly crosses his arms, the red circles on his body beginning to glow on his body.
"I will show you....TRUE TERROR...." Lazengann roars to the opposing force. Gigantic reverse spiral drills shoot out of the holes in Lazengann's body. The machine's eyes then flash blood red and he spreads his arms out wide. The machine looks into the sky and the drills on his body grow.
The drills then suddenly retreat into the body of the machine, the red glow still lingering from the holes on his body. With his arms still spread out wide, Lazengann slowly looks at the pair of fighters. The earth then cracks and a gigantic mountain of drills erupts from underneath the two fighters.
Lazengann sees the two easily dodge the drills and then flies at the two. He stands in front of Ryouki and then smashes him down with his tail, the tail just moving and curving over his shoulder and smashing into the dragon's face. At lightening speed, Lazengann looks at Varion. He holds his fist out and shoots off drills which stab into the shoulders and legs of the warrior. "YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND!!!" he roars as Varion heads towards him. He then brings his fist to meet Varion's face plate. Lazengann brings his fist down and slams Varion into the ground.
"THIS POWER YOU USE TO FIGHT!!" Lazengann again roars to the fighters. He grabs the foot of Varion and the tail of Ryouki and slams the two into each other with gigantic force. He then tosses them up into the air, their bodies flying like rag dolls. "THIS POWER YOU USE TO PROTECT!!"
Lazengann flies up into the air and above the two flying bodies. He then kicks to two in the back, making them crunch into each other with sickening force. "THIS POWER....WILL ULTIMATELY DESTROY THE UNIVERSE!!!"
Lazengann continues to force the two down to the ground and into the earth. A gigantic crator is formed beneath Ryouki and Varion, crying out in pain and feel as though they were hit by the force of a comet. Lazengann jumps into the air and then lands outside of the crator. "I AM THE TRUE SAVIOR!! THE TRUE KING AND SAVIOR OF THIS EARTH!! YOU SPIRAL BEINGS ARE TOO FOOLISH TO EVEN THINK THAT WHAT I'M DOING...." he roars, the sound or cracking earth echoes in the air.
"IS FOR THE GOOD OF EVERYONE LIVING!!!". Multiple drills erupt from the ground below Varion and his partner. The drills pierce through their armor and out the other side. The drills retract and they are left bleeding heavily while Lazengann watches from above. "You mortals....are pathetic..." he mutters lastly.

Garrett and Ryouki lay on the ground, both leaking blood at staggering rates, Garrett's human, crimson blood mixing with Ryouki's electric-blue, plasmatic blood. Garrett panted, every nerve in his body screaming with pain, yet his increasing lack of blood weakened him to the point of paralysis. While Ryouki didn't quite have nerves, that attack did leave him in a state of broken stillness.
"Ryouki... this... this guy's kicking... our... our asses..." Garrett wheezed.
Ryouki simply blinked in response, groaning.
"Y-yeah... he's... he's moving too fast for the Heaven Breaker to hit... I don't think I can catch him again..."
Garrett gritted his teeth, blood soaking into the snow beneath him.
"So... so... what do we... do?" He gasped.
Ryouki's eyes shifted over to the armored teen, then gave a mental nod to Varion.
"I think I have... an idea... but... it depends if you're willing to go through with it..."
Garrett's eyes narrowed, and he wheezed,
"What... do ya mean...? I'm... I'm ready for anything... hell, you should know I've got nothing to lose... my friends and family are all dead... everyone else I knew thinks I'm dead... my lifespan's been extremely shortened because I chose to... use Varion..."
His fists clenched weakly, and his lungs shuddered with another breath.
"And... after all of this... I... I still choose to fight... you know that.... so.... why're... why're you asking... if I... wanna go through with... it?" He demanded weakly.
Ryouki 'smiled' under his faceplates.
"Heh, just... making sure. For someone with nothing to fight for... you're pretty-damned-determined..." The dragon muttered.
Garrett coughed, grinning.
"Thanks... so what's this plan?"
Ryouki swayed to his feet, then nodded for Garrett to rise as well. Varion laughed, then muttered,
"So... the Corona Drive?"
Ryouki nodded as Garrett staggered to his feet, glaring up at Lazengann. Ryouki then let loose a bellowing roar as both he and Varion echoed,
[glow=white,2,300]"ALL LIMITERS REMOVED. ENERGY LEVELS REACHING CRITICAL. CORONA DRIVE INITIATED."[/glow]
Ryouki suddenly rocketed into the air, then flipped over backwards, speeding towards Varion from hundreds of feet. Neon-orange lines flared all over Ryouki's form, and Varion's form was laced with neon-green as Garrett rasped to Lazengann,
"I'm not sure what's gonna happen here, but... I might as well say one last thing before I possibly die..."
He weakly raised an arm, then, with newfound vigor, jabbed a finger at the Helix King and roared,
"Frankly, I don't give a flying F*CK if my power destroys the universe! Or if anyone else's does! I'm just using what little time I have on Earth to try and make some sort of difference, whether to myself or those around me! I'm here to repent for mistakes I've made in the past!"
As Ryouki screamed closer, both the glowing lines on Ryouki and Varion shifted to a bright, blue-white in color, and the air started to shift and shimmer around the two. Before Ryouki impacted, and both were enveloped in a painfully bright, burning white light, Garrett finished,
"But most importantly of all... I'm here... TO DRAG DOWN B*STARDS LIKE YOU WITH ME!!!!!"
The resulting nova of energy raced out for a good mile, melting the snow it came into contact with instantly. The gravity in the area almost tripled as well as the light focused into a good 20-foot dome, a large, bulky figure seen within its confines for a moment. The star-like energy then exploded into a pillar of light, slowly disintergrating, revealing the powerful new entity within...
Ryouki had virtually separated into multiple sections and attached to Varion accordingly, much like a suit of armor. The dragon’s hind-legs had shifted around and attached over Varion’s legs, the two front claws snapping together to form one solid piece. The fore-legs had done a similar action, sliding into themselves a bit and snapping around Varion’s arms. All three claws on each either fore-foot had shifted backwards, locking perfectly onto the forearms and allowing a fist resembling a clawed, spiked gauntlet to emerge from the original claw’s palm. Ryouki’s tail had split into two solid triangular plates, each halve connecting to either of Varion’s hips. The body itself had shifted around and slid over Varion’s upper-torso, the dragon’s head having separated slightly at the top and shifted/set into the chest, causing a diamond-shaped green crystal to emerge from the center of the head. The middle-most section of Ryouki’s body had shifted outwards, forming a pair of pentagonal shoulder-guards with rounded front-and-back sides. The dragon’s wings had shifted onto Varion’s back as his folded against his back, giving him the pair of draconic wings in their place. Finally, the central, back-most section of Ryouki’s body had split into a helmet, of which has slid around Varion’s head. The helmet resembles Varion’s previous face almost exactly, but a black in color and a five-pointed silver crest. A mouth guard with an appearance similar to Nexus’s had slid over his lower-face. A slightly-curved, ridged horn was set into either side of his head, swept backwards, and another horn ran back from the back of the helmet‘s enlarged tri-crest.
The air around this figure literally exploded with heat and sheer pressurized air as it rumbled, flexing its clawed hands.
[glow=white,2,300]"CORONA DRIVE SEQUENCE... COMPLETE..."[/glow] It growled.
It turned a pair of red eyes to Lazengann, then smashed its fists together, creating a visible 'pulse' of gravity to fly out from the appendages as it roared,
[glow=white,2,300]"WE... WE ARE THE KNIGHT OF THE THALEAN EMPIRE!! WE ARE THE HARBINGER'S TRUE FORM!! WE ARE THE WRATH OF THE GREAT STAR INCARNATE!! WE... WE ARE CORONA VARION!!!"[/glow]
The jets in the figure's wings, back, and feet all rocketed into life, and with a bestial snarl, sent the 9-foot figure screaming towards Lazengann. The plating on its right forearm began to rapidly spin, heating to a white-blue color as Corona Varion bellowed,
[glow=white,2,300]"METEOR.... BLITZ!!!"[/glow]
He then slammed the superheated appendage into Lazengann's torso, shearing through the metal before a burst of energy sent the Anti-Spiral flying off of the fist and into the ground with a subsonic roar, a large hole in his chest as the Helix King lay in a crater as large as Varion and Ryouki had been in. Corona Varion's eyes narrowed, and he gave another growl, prepped for an incoming attack.

Lazengann stands up and glares at the new Varion. He grunts in disapproval. "This is all you have?" he mutters, puffing out his chest. The metal plating on his stomach bursts off, revealing a second face on his stomach. Its sharp teeth grinding together, wanting blood.
Lazengann hops up into the air and elbows Varion in the face with full force. Then he spin kicks the warrior in the chest and sends Varion flying. Varion slams into a generator and makes it explode. Lazengann looks and sees how undamaged Varion was.
Then, Lazengann releases a smile and laughs, "HAHA!! This actually might be some fun!!". Then a torrent is unleashed from under Varion, the drills uprooting under the warrior. Lazengann continues to watch, wondering what Varion's counterattack will be.

Without so much as a flinch, Varion glanced at the upcoming drills, then casually raised his left arm across his chest. As the drills were about to impact, Varion swept the arm to the side, backhanding through every drill and shattering them all upon impact. The Astral Harbinger then slowly turned to Lazengann, wisps of blue 'fire' escaping from between the 'teeth' on his faceplate as he grunted. The various jets on his body all whirred for a split second, then in the next, a sub-sonic roar echoed across the area as Lazengann was sent flying by kick at rates exceeding Mach 1.
Corona Varion then accelerated behind Lazengann, the central point on his forehead-crest sliding upwards to reveal a red, gem-like structure. The air around the Astral Harbinger fluctuated with massive amounts of heat as the gem began to glow, and the biomechanical fighter then bellowed, smashing his fists together,
[glow=white,2,300]"SHINING.... STAAAAR.... BUUUSTEEER!!!"[/glow]
A thick beam of red-orange energy tore forth from Varion's forehead, racing forth until it contacted against the Helix King's upper-back. Metal was seared away by the sheer concussive and thermal force of the attack, of which drove Lazengann back into the ground, burning through more metal before the attack ended. Varion grunted, then let loose another bestial roar at the downed Anti-Spiral.

Lazengann glares through the smoke at Varion who stood defiantly in front of him. The hateful glare intensifies as the body of Lazengann shimmers with a blood red glow. They eyes of Lazengann also turn blood red and balls up his fists as his energy increases. "I WILL SHOW YOU.....THE TRUE MEANING OF FEAR!!!" he roars.
Suddenly gigantic drills shoot out of the holes in Lazengann's body. The drills rapidly spin and release red particles as they spin. The drills then suddenly stop and they shatter and create smaller drills along Lazengann's body. A pair of demon like horns that are in a helix like fashion burst from the sides of Lazengann's head. The hands of the machine become clawed, spiralling into red tipped spears. The tail thrashes around as it is surrounded by Anti-Spiral Energy. Lazengann's middle head breaths out smoke, grinding its teeth together in a sickening screech. "Lazengann.....Overload!!!" the machine roars to Varion.

Corona Varion merely narrowed its eyes at the improved Lazengann, then grunted, sending twin tufts of blue 'fire' drifting out from between the teeth on his faceplate. The Thalean Knight's eyes then flared wide open as he charged Overload Lazengann, roaring,
[glow=white,2,300]"FEAR- MEANS- NOTHING!!! IT IS BUT A HINDERANCE FOR THE WEAK OF MIND AND SOUL!!"[/glow]
He then rammed his half-ton bulk into the Helix King, sending both flying into the nearby mountainside with an explosion of rubble. Within the 50-foot deep crater their impact had created, Varion released another terrible roar, slamming his fists into Lazengann's face repeatedly, driving the Anti-Spiral deeper into the hillside.
[glow=white,2,300]"NEBULA INFERNOO!!!" [/glow]
The temperature in the area flared once more, and a burst of orchid light gushed forth from the crater, sending a horribly-smoking Lazengann flying out of the hill's new scar. Varion rocketed out of the hole, screaming towards Laz in one more attack...

Lazengann met Varion head on, smashing his forehead against the warrior. The machine then uppercut Varion in the jaw and then quickly punched him in the stomach. Drills then burst through the armor of Varion and sent the warrior flying.
A surge of Anti-Spiral energy was sent through the drills, making Varion roar in pain. Lazengann then retracted the drills and then glared at Varion. Varion slowly began to stand up and glared right back at Lazengann.
"O' you Weak Willed beings...." he mutters, "When shall you ever learn...." the energy around Lazengann began to flare and build, the ground shuddering and and cracking under the pressure. He flew at Varion and unleashed a volley of kicks and punches and tail smashes upon the corona warrior, who was trying to block the attacks.

After blocking the attacks over several dozen times, Corona Varion snarled, grabbing Lazengann's extended arm, then whirled around at extreme speeds. After about seven high-speed turns, CV then abruptly flew towards the ground, Laz still in tow before he gave one final spin, smashing the Helix King into the ground and sending dozens of cracks along the earth's surface from the impact site. With a guttural roar, Varion charged up his Meteor Blitz, and smashed the Anti Spiral further into the ground with it before taking to the air.
[glow=white,2,300]"When will we learn? Good question. We humans are a fickle race... we hardly learn from our mistakes."[/glow] Garrett rumbled.
The central point on his head-crest shifted upwards, releasing the Shining Star Buster into the hole in which Laz was located, slagging the surrounding dirt. In a flash, CV was back at the hole, reaching in and fishing the damaged Helix King out, before releasing him, whirling around, and delivering a sound-breaking kick to the Anti-Spiral's side, sending him rocketing towards the edge of the half-plateu the power plant was located on.
[glow=white,2,300]"Some of us are better than that, though. We learn from those mistakes, we adapt..."[/glow]
His eyes seemed to flash as he lowered his head slightly, glaring at the downed Anti-Spiral from under his tri-crest.
[glow=white,2,300]"We... evolve..."[/glow] He finished.
With that, he rocketed backwards into the air, then unleashed his Nebula Inferno, of which enveloped Laz in a bright orchid flare, and decimated the hillside on which the black mech was on.
