Really nice. I like the almost Godzilla-Dorsal fins on the back. Also, the neck area looks a lot like a mix of plant and Hedorah. Its really good. But theres just something about it. The head looks....timid. Like, its not a hidiously deformed monster look. Or a raging look. Its..peaceful looking. But....I wonder what it'll look like when she opens her maw. Really good work.

The head is supposed to look a bit like a crocodile. And I wanted to have a "smoother" look. As in the mouth closes pretty much all the way and such. Now, she still has masses of vicious teeth in her maw that cover everything. Besides, her head can't look that timid: she has dozens of tusks jutting from the side of her head and back of her jaw, some of which are bigger than Goji's head.
But yeah, since my Biollante has a lot more of a human element to it, it needed to be able to show emotion, or something close. It is still Erika after all.

Sorry for the double post, but I drew another sketch of Biollante! Anyways, this is kinda aimed specifically at FredRex because he said she looked too 'peaceful'. Well, here she is with all 20,000-ish teeth fully extended (I decided her teeth could be retracted into her gums). Thanks  . I messed up a bit on the proportions of the head: it should be longer. Other than that, I like how it turned out. I thought the idea of her tongue being practically made of thorns/teeth was pretty cool too. |

Nice improvement Nid. I like the smaller head look. It makes Bio have more connection with Godzilla. I like the barbed tongue too. Really nice touch to it. My only complaint is the spikes. I love the spikes and all....but the ones around the mouth are a bit overkill IMO. But overall, I love it. Awesome job Nid!!

Thanks. I don't like the shorter head as much, though I'm not totally sure why. I think it's size and shape flow better with the bulk of the rest of the body. Plus, it makes Bio look a bit more feminine, which I also like. As for the tusks, well, I preobably should tone them down. I actually would have, except I did it in pen and not pencil. I like the over sized tusks though, so I'll probably have fewer yet bigger tusks on my next attempt.
