Name: Teracyn
Other names: Thanatos, Aphostos
Alliance: Good (but totally anti-hero, Punisher-type good)
Age (as Teracyn): 12 years
NPC
Height: 12 feet
Weight: 4,800 lbs
Description: At first glance, "Thanatos on steroids" comes to mind. However, there are a few notable differences. The first is that Teracyn has flesh showing on part of his upper arms, frontal abdomen, and lower back. In fact, much of what was Thanatos' body has become permenantly attached armor. However, the new being is still biomechanical.
His right shoulder is basically one big gun, and it's support mechanisms. Teracyn combined both of the supercannons from Thanatos' weaker armor, and suped them up into one massive gun. It has nine main barrels, which point forward, and 48 ports on the sides, which act as cooling vents and missile barrels for a maasive-scale attack. It's thick and wide, and overall just huge. The gun on his left shoulder is called the "Rod of the Titans". At nearly eight feet long, it's like a mounted sniper rifle, which serves as its basic function. It can fire longer range weapons than the mega-cannon on the right shoulder, balancing out Teracyn's range.
His armor is all obsidian black, giving him a deadly appearance. The light that emanates from the biomechanical portions is either red or green. The decorative trim that Thanatos has is still there, for the most part, but it is silver and serves to highlight the sharp features on Teracyn's body.
The head is interesting. Thanatos' face actually serves as a kind of a mask: it splits open to reveal the heavily scarred face of Aphostos.
Abilities:
Core Overload: Like Thanatos, Teracyn can overload his biocore. Unlike Thanatos, Teracyn can tap into Aphostos' eternal reserve of immortal energy, granting him ten times the effects (2500%) with no risk of nuclear detonation.
Cyber regeneration-by focusing his magical energies, and re-routing his fusion energies to a given source, Thanatos can slowly repair most damage.
Suppression field-Thanatos has suppressors in his armor that reduce the effects of mind powers (telekinesis, etc), EMP attacks, and some magical based attacks.
Electro-canons-Thanatos has huge electrodes mounted in his hands and forearms capable of generating lightning-strength electric blasts. These can be sustained for a few seconds at a time.
Gravity bursts-Thanatos can create short changes in gravity over a small area, about the size of a person, that manipulate the gravity. He cannot use this ability often due to its energy toll, and the effect is comparable to a gravity-based grenade.
Anti-matter Blast: The guns in his forearms are capable of siphoning anti-matter from nearby time-space. This can be released in a snaking blast (like one of Mother Brain's attacks in Super Metroid) of repeated small explosions. Though each explosion is small, their combined force is deadly. Furthermore, once the blast hits a large matter-object, a much larger series of explosions around that object.
Armor: Blessed by Aphostos Titan strength, and Thanatos already potent technology and power, Teracyn's armor is practically indestructable. It can be damaged, or even destroyed, but not by much...
Immortal: Due to being part Aphostos, Teracyn is immortal.
Equipment:
Mega cannon: Fires missiles, of which it seems to have an infinite supply, plasma beams, dark energy bursts, particle beams, and rails. The rails travel 9800 km/s, and are capable of ripping through just about any known armor.
Rod of the Titans: Fires sniper-rifle like shells and very long-distance particle beam lances.
Forearm lances: instead of little two-foot blades, Teracyn has six foot lances, which in reality are more like lances crossed with swords. They are rounded, but flattened at the same time, so the the outside edges are sharp.
Swords: The two swords Teracyn uses have no names. But each is a collapsible sword that extends to have an 8 foot blade and three foot handle.
Hammer: Aphostos hammer has an entirely new look to match the biotechnical design. His black hole is still the center of the hammer head, and it has the hitting components of the head orbiting around it. The two main parts are the biggest and they form a straight line across from eachother. The other two parts are smaller and look like semi-circles with the rounded edge facing in. The biggest difference in the hammer, besides appearance and size, is that the black hole can be "activated" for short periods and absorb small amounts of matter.
Personality: Angry, cold, hostile, and when no one is around, remorseful.
History: In an alternate future, everything went wrong. Nazo achieved maximum power, Shive's Hollow side took over permenantly, and Draethik reached his apex form. In a battle for supremacy, most of the heroes were killed. Eventually, Nazo was killed by a combination of the survivors in impromptu teamwork. Unfortunately, the deaths were hard. Aphostos, who couldn't die, was wounded to a point that he couldn't die or regenerate. Saelia was killed, throwing Thanatos into despair. And most of the survivors were evil. Almost immediately, Hollow Shive killed Solranous, who tried to help him. And Draethik snuck away to recouperate, and gather more strength.
In his despair, Thanatos found Aphostos, and the two made a deal with the Titans. They would become one, stronger than both. Thanatos could have his vengeance for Saelia, and Aphostos could retain his purpose. They became Teracyn. Within one year of endless hunting, he had killed Hollow Shive, Daedalus, and Draethik. And just about everyone else he met too. The only original heroes left after his rampage were a blind and wingless Myrr, a one-armed and badly scarred (and 'cured') Lora, and half of O'mally (his torso and head). After that, Teracyn wandered. He had no one left to hunt. He heard later that Myrr, Lora, and O'Mally had worked out time travel. Teracyn confronted them, meaning to take it and go back to save Saelia in the fight itself. But the trio disagreed, they felt a better plan would be to warn someone in the more distant past, who could fix it. Teracyn killed them in a rage and took the machine, but later in his grief decided they were right. He went back, and began to look for the only being that he knew where they'd be.
