Saw this in another forum and wanted to put it here. So, what did you guys get for Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate)? Did you get what you wanted? Well, here you can tell what you got and kinda brag on what you've got.
Me? Well, got the following:
Endless Waltz Heavy Arms Gundam Customs HG 1/144
Dygenguar Model Kit
Basic Gundam Markers Set (along with the Gold Marker and Line Marker)
iPod Nano (4th Gen)
GaoGaiGar Boxset 2
Batman: Dark Knight
Rodan and War of the Gargantuas DVD set
Unreal Tournament 3
Best Buy Gift card (from my Uncle)
New Pair of Head Phones
Currently, I've gotten Heavy Arms completed and painted. Still..it looks kinda sloppy from my perspective. Then again, I'm still new to this model thing. As for Dygenguar....my god is this a wonderful model. When I assembled the one arm, I just felt like this was going to be awesome. However, I've been running into a few problems, like the small bar that is used for extra detail in the back of the heel and most of all, the entire top half just falling off the ball and socket joint. I've got it fixed now, but I dunno for how long. I haven't had to paint anything on it yet. I've still got to do some line detailing and pain the swords and their handles, but it really doesn't need paint. Very easy to put together in certain parts, but a pain int the A$$ in certain other parts.
And speaking of pains in the rear, lets move to the iPod. See, I thought adding video was going to be a breeze since I have a video converter. I was wrong, dead wrong. I had to do all this crap just to put a video on my PC onto the iPod. But no matter, I've figured it out and currently have some episodes of Gurren Lagann and GaoGaiGar on the iPod now.
So, now for you guys. What how was your Christmas' and such?
