Great Mazinger successfully lands in front of the machine base. He felt drops of rain as he was arriving to the base. Hopefully he wouldn't hit it on the way home. He gives out a sigh and walks into the base.
He sees a robot walking around and speaks up, "Hey. You know where O'Mally is?"
Meanwhile, within the base, Ubelgeist sits in shock. He felt the life force of GaoGaiGar disappear. He was morning for the loss of a powerful ally this whole time. He knew that O'mally wasn't aware of this at the moment and sensed that is why Great Mazinger had arrived. He just hoped the base wouldn't be destroyed with O'Mally's rage.

The droid 'blinked' then replied,
"If I recall correctly, he's on the roof. I assume you need to talk to him?"
The droid then pointed to the top of Machinima, where a single figure could be faintly seen, head tilted back. Meanwhile, on the roof, O'Malley's eye was narrowed. Mazinger was here... why? The Super Robots never came here just to say 'hi'.... they never came by to deliver good news, either...
"So what happened this time...?" He muttered to himself.

Great Mazinger ignores the droid that helped him out, but gives him a wave of thanks to him. He flies right up to O'Mally and lands beside him. He pauses, trying to figure out what to say. He balls his fists up just thinking about the death of GaoGaiGar. Then he sighs and emits the news he brought.
"I....don't want to bring the barer of bad news, but we had a death on our hands today. And....it was GaoGaiGar. He's dead....." Great Mazinger says, muttering and hanging his head in sadness, "He...went down like a hero. He gave it his all...."
Ubelgeist shakes his head in sadness down below in his containment center. "But his all....wasn't enough....." he mutters. Ubelgeist then begins to work on a project. GaoGaiGar's death wouldn't be for nothing. He'd avenge the Genesic bot. Even if he had to build some hands just to kill the slayer of the King of Braves.

O'Malley stood there, arms crossed for a long while. He eventually sighed, closing his electric-blue eye.
"I... see... well... you said he went down like a hero... right? Sounds like he went the way he'd have preffered to..."
O’Malley was significantly different in his entire shape, but the darkening sky helped hide most of it from view. He shook his head, then muttered in a husky tone,
"Well... who was it? Who killed him?"

"It was Thrudgelmir. He used to be Fuzen until the Darkness Surge took over him." Great Mazinger says, "But if it was just the Darkness Crystal taking over his body, then wouldn't he just look like a darker version of himself? He look radically different now. That means theres a second party in play besides Teufel."
Great Mazinger crosses his arms. "Got any ideas on who it could be?"

O'Malley sighed, then opened his eye and replied,
"Downtown. That's where those strange machines attacked a few weeks back. The outskirts of town. That's where the demon army's leader was killed by that odd black robot."
His claws clicked as they drummed on his biceps, then he continued,
"Both those machines displayed a very.... peculiar... type of energy. It wasn't anything Like I'd ever seen, but the only thing to compare it to was... an organic's life processes, but... in... 'reverse'. It was like... 'anti-energy'."
A mechanical black sphere streaked down from the sky, hovering next to O'Malley. A long cord snaked out from the sphere, of which bore a single camera-like eye on the front. O'Malley connected the cord into his head, then waited a few moments before adding,
"And... it would seem this 'Thrudglemir' displays a decent amount of this energy as well."
The sphere 'beeped', then the cord retratced rapidly, and the mini-machine whizzed off again. O'Malley turned to Mazinger and finished,
"If you can manage to find out what those machines were, you'll learn something about Thrudglemir, and why they enhanced him."
O'Malley had seemed calm the entire time, but... not even the droid could restrain his fists from clenching to the point where sparks flew out from the digits.
