Shiryu and Mercurio set down in the Abandoned area. Shiryu had remembered seeing a vacant place that could serve as their home when he was following Lora to Sol's house. He appraoched the house with caution as he did not no of any dangers that might emerge from it.
He searched the entire house for any possible threats while Mercurio waited outside. After thoroughly scanning the house he went ahead and called Mercurio inside.
"This may be a little rundown right now Mercurio but I know we can turn it into a wonderful place to stay if we work hard. Plus it should be safer here for you than it was back up near the prism valley."
Shiryu set about doing mandatory maintenance so that he would be sure Mercurio would be safe when he returned to the sewers. First of all he fixed the doors so that the locks and hinges worked properly. After that he set out to get the utilities turned on.
While he was doing that Mercurio set about fixing curtains and prepairing a garden that she could collect reash ingredients from for her cooking.
They soon had a Livable house but it still lacked furniture and cooking utilities such as a stove and oven.
"Well we might as well wait a while until we fiure out where to get these things."
Mercurio seemed to just barely hear him as she groaned in agreement as she fell asleep resting her head on his chest as they sat on the porch. After some time Shiryu eventually took her inside and layed her down so he couls go search for smoe furniture.
While searching for beds and other things he found that there was a basement entrance on the side of the house. Upon firther inspection he found a couple of beds and seating arrangements for the house so he began the task of dragging them up to the main house. Once he had moved all the furniture upstairs he set off to get an oven so theywouldn't have to cook over an open fire.
After a bit of searching he found an old store that had gone out of business and left all its merchandise behind. he opened the door and looked around for any sign of a person that would claim ownership if he began to move it out. Seeing that there was no sign of life having been there for years he put the oven on a furniture dolly he found and wheeled all the way home.
Upon returning he found that Mercurio had awoken and was out back working in the garden she had setup early in the day.
"I was worried about you when I woke up and you were gone." She said rushing to his welcoming embrace.
"I'm sorry I left without telling you but I needed to get furnishings for the house before we could truly call it finished. I promise I will tell when I leave from here on out. So tonight we can sleep in comfort but tomorrow morning I'm going back into the sewers to see what it is I can find of my newfound enemy."
Mercurio still in his arms replies, "You better come back. I don't want to be left alone from what family I may have left. I don't want to lose you too."
