The image of Solranous did as the dragon himself said, leading Shiryu to the edges of the Prism Valley, where the dwelling of the Spirit Chanellers originally stood, a thousand years ago.
"We're here... But it does not appear that there is much left to recover..." Solranous announced sadly.
The image of the dragon turned to Shiryu. "I'm very sorry... if there was something within my power that I could do... I would do it to help you..."
'I feel... though... that we aren't exactly... alone. It's not the two I'm worried about... its someone new... could this unknown person have some sort of connection with him?' the dragon thought, keeping it to himself.

"I appreciate your help in this busy time friend. There is a way to recover the image of the past that only few from my clan could do. However I'm afraid I'm a bit rusty so I will be here for some time. May we meet again only face to face and under more relaxed conditions."
Mentally scanning for a particular crystal he finds a strange presence hiding but observing himself and Solranous.
Hmm... there is a familiar presence here not threatening but scared. I wonder if Solranous can feel it too?
"The presence we feel seems to have no ill will toward us as far as I can tell without alerting it to my prying. So I think I can handle things from here on out."

"I sense the same." Solranous replied. "However... I am curious as to who this other person is. I will leave you to your search, however, my curiousity will not let me leave this place without meeting with this new person. I'll likely be back."
With that, Solranous looked up and focused, looking on to the signatureof the unknown person. His image 'winked' out of existance, before appearing just in front of their little spy.
"And who might you be? You didn't do a very good job at hiding... Don't worry, I mean no harm towards you." The dragon spoke, directing his thoughts towards the person he had 'dropped in' on.

Upon seeing Solranous expose the one spying on them he noticed something about her spirit signature.
Impossible. There's no way this energy reading could be right. But if it is then that would mean someone survived that day.
"Whoa Sol. Hold on a second can't you see she's terrified of you. We should let her come ou on her own."
So she began to reveal herself from the shadows. Upon coming into the light of the moon Shiryu could not believe his eyes. She was what he thought he had truly lost in its entirety. She was the sole remaining member from his long lost clan.
"I don't believe it you are a part of my ancient clan. How did your family survive, who are and where are the rest of them?"
The timid girl seemed to trust him due to the fact that he was one of her own. So she began to relate what happened to her and her family.
"Well first my name is Mercurio. I was born under the white dragon and am the last of my clan or so I thought. The rest of my family died years ago to an illness that never struck me. As for how my Ancestors survived the death of the clan they were out harvesting the crystals that we use for healing or so I was told."
Shiryu finally came to the conclusion was that to find out why he destroyed the villagers he would have to search the achive tree that was still standing where it had always been.
He sat down and began to tap the tree's history by syncronizing to its biorythm. As he searched the knowledge of the tree he felt the familiar agony he felt when he awoke from the chamber. The memory of how it began flooded back to him. He had been hunting with his friends but when one of them got riled up and was hit a bit of blood, filled with anger and fear, landed on his face and was the trigger of his manic rampage.
He fell to tears at what was revealed to him when Mercurio came to his side and comforted him.
Quietly he asked her, "How could you ever forgive me after seeing this?"
She replied, "Because what you saw was not something you consciously did. An evil body invaded you and took over. The elders that sealed you away sent you to a purification chamber to have that body removed and until that time you would remain underground sleeping in peace until the world was once again in need of you services. That time has come."
With that Shiryu stood up and wiped away the tears of his past and moved toward Sol with Mercurio at his side.
"Sol thank you for helping me find this place. I would never have been able to live with myself if this truth wasn't revealed. Now I must return to the sewers to find any trace of the evil that once stained my body. If I do I will eradicate that evil with the punishment only the black dragon can give."
He spread his wings and prepared to leave with his newfound clanmate Mercurio for the very chamber he had awoken from. But a quick protest from Mercurio rang out as she needed time to collect her crystals and research from the home she had lived in for so long.
"Sol you can leave now I think I can watch her while she gets her things collected. After thats finished I'm sure we can find out way back just fine."

"Very well... I hope you two find success in your plans to eradicate this new evil. Just know, that if you need any form of help... you know who you can turn to. And through me, you have access to a whole group of powerful allies. Till the next time we meet, good luck!" With those final words, the dragon vanished for good that time.
'I feel I will be seeing them more often now... one day, we will aid each other in battle... I am sure of it...' Solranous thought, smiling.

So Shiryu took a seat in the old tree he missed so much while Mercurio gathered her belongings.
Thoughts swam through his head about what it was that could take control of him so easily. The thought of it was just ridiculous. How could an evil entity take control of his body so easily when he was the most powerful of his clan?
He stopped thinking about it for now since he had a new companion, one that would understand him. He couldn't help but to admire her beauty as she hustled back and forth creating packs the two would carry back to NightShade city to try and setup up a home they could stay in until they found permanent housing.
Just as he was about to fall asleep Mercurio called alerting him that she was ready to go. So he jumped down and hefted the heavier pack onto his back and took off with Mercurio following right behind with a smile that could warm all but the coldest of hearts.
