Wing Referrance
Description: He is a normal looking human when his wings are not extended. He has dark brown short hair with a dark red eye color. His wings give an otherworldly appearance though he often doesn’t let them be seen. He’s well built and can be intimidating but appears lazy when seen lying in the trees. Often seen wearing a red top and black pants with a hat that has a mixture of the 2 colors.
Abilities:
Spirit Armor: A basic ability from his clan was to be able to summon armor based around their spirit alignment. In his case it takes a shape resembling a black dragon with red trim. Spirit Armor is able to last til he reaches exhaustion which can be up to 45 min or as low as 10 min depending on the Expenditure of his spirit energy. The armor has the ability to cushion the blows from energy based attacks by absorbing a minimal amount from the attack but if too much is absorbed the armor overloads and disipates. The wings are retractable for some of his aerial to ground attacks.
Nine Fragments: A devastating attack from the air in which nine spirit daggers are used to pin the foe to the ground for a meteoric impact. Often causes damage to himself upon performing this move. It is capable of crippling a skyscraper and leaving a 35 foot diameter crater in the ground. Usable once per 10 minutes
Scythe Wave: A wave created from the release of spirit energy from his scythe much like that of a Getsuga Tenshou. The wave is capable of a clean cut through a building but loses strength as it comes into contact with the spiritual pressure of others.
Personality: Generally lazy but if you give him a good battle or prank he gets real hyped up. He is an overall goof once you get to know him though he displays wisdom beyond what his age shows.
History: He belonged to an ancient clan of people with the extraordinary ability to build armor from spirit energy. Each person was aligned with a creature from birth. Upon his birth Shiryu was aligned with the most powerful spirit known to the clan, the Black Dragon. As he grew the village elders began to notice that in times of anger he would start to lose control of his spirit. Finally one day after turning 19 his spirit snapped and went on a rampage destroying all but 3 of the villagers. The 3 who remained sealed him away in an ancient tomb that was made for just such an occasion and with the last of their power, before they too joined their clan in the afterlife, put him into a dormant state for a thousand years. Through the years the chamber has absorbed information and passed it to him to prevent him from being left in a confused state once he wakes up.
Equipment/Belongings:
A staff that when infused with his spirit energy turns into a double bladed energy scythe. When not in use the staff can be changed to a more compact form for travel and storage. A dagger made entirely of flames that he received from Draco upon metting for the first time.
