Shive was hanging off of a beam roughly two stories off the ground, a pair of cement mixers tied to both legs as he performed pull-ups without much trouble.
"Can't let myself get out of shape... but damnit, I wish there was heavier stuff here..." He grumbled.
He eventually severed all four mixers, letting them crash with a 'thud' on the ground below. The gray dragonkin sighed, then leaned back on the beam, grateful it could support his weight. As he sat on the skeletal structure, he leaned back and stared at the night sky, his breath visible as it came in slow, frequent clouds. He yawned, then mumbled,
"I'm surprised some ass hasn't attacked us yet... this has gotta be the longest interval of peace we've had for a while..."
He shrugged, continuing his star-gazing.

Moments later a winged figure strolled in walking up to the base of the unfinished building, stopping at a large load barring steel beam.
"OH this'll work!"
Blaze proclaimed loudly before taking a fighting stance. He then round-house kicked the beam causing the entire structure to shake violently, the half dragon stumbled back a few steps and grabbed his shin.
"Ow! yup. This'll work......COMMENCE TRAINING!"
With that, he executed a 540 degree kick, again striking the beam continuing with punches, elbow and knee attacks. In the mist of his attacks he paused and reached at his hip attempting to grab at something, he stopped seeming almost sad.
"Man, this would be funner if I had my nunchucks....or at least a sparring partner."
Blaze sighed looking at the mangled steel beam, then fell back wards onto his back looking up at the stars, immediately noticing Shive.
"Hey bud! Can you see the stars better from up there?"

Shive jumped at Blaze's question, then glanced downwards with curiosity. He blinked upon seeing the anthropomorphic dragon, then replied,
"Uhh... yeah, kinda."
He stared at Blaze intently, wondering,
Strange... I've never seen him before, and yet.... he seems so goddamned familiar. Why?
His eyes abruptly widened, and he whispered to himself,
"It's his voice.... it sounds so much like... his..."

Blaze narrowed his eyes trying to focus in on Shives face as he stood.
"Hey, Bud you look kinda familiar, whats your name?"
The half dragon jumped up to Shive with ease and sat with him, looking at the stars.
"I swear iv seen him before, its on the tip of my tongue."
Blaze reached down and unclipped his two ankle weights and let them fall with a relaxed groan, the weights fell in silence before violently hitting the ground, smashing a cement truck to the point of permanent decommission.

Shive blinked at the ankle weights, then replied,
"Name's Shive... and I don't think I've ever met you before. Although..."
His head lowered, and he muttered,
"But your voice sounds familiar... not sure why."
He rubbed the back of his neck, looking skywards as he thought back to the day he first arrived in this plane, several years ago...

Blaze's eyes immediately faded to flat black as Eko quickly took over and stood, facing Shive with rage. Eko grabbed his shoulder and flash-stepped both of them to the ground.
"We need to have a little chat before that yellow glowing freak tries to kill the sh*t out of you!"
The dark anthro lifted Shive to his feet.
"First of all, you owe Blaze a-"
He was cut off as the third personality formed next to him and threw him several feet away. At the same time Blaze Formed in front of Shive, blocking him from the glowing being.
"Shive you need to leave this dude keeps popin up and I know nothing about him!"
Blaze took a fighting stance and opened both Gate of Ren, Eko did the same.
"There you are."
The being walked up to Blaze and threw a high kick, striking him in the head, Blaze hit the ground unconscious.
Eko flash-stepped in front of the glowing anthro in mid-kick and hit him with a devastating kick to his hip, throwing him a few yards.

Shive blinked, hopping to his feet as he tried to simultaneously balance on the steel gurder. Eventually giving up on it, he took to wing and barked,
"What the hell is going on?! What are any of you talking about, and who're the other two?!"
He bared his teeth, then turned to the glowing incarnation of Blaze.
They all look alike, but that one's attacking the other two... why?
Shive floated to the ground, landing gently next to Blaze as he asked,
"...mind explaining what's going on?"

Blaze swayed to his feet and and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well...uh I think that the glowing dude over there is my third personality, he'll teach me how to open and control the Third Gate of Ren, but as to way hes hates you, is beyond me."
Eko walked over and reformed with Blaze, as the glowing anthro stood.
"Uh, you ok Shive? you seem a little hurt."
Blaze knelt down and helped Shive to his feet.

Shive blinked, eyes wide in confusion.
Third Gate... hates me? I don't know any of these three! He thought.
He scowled, then swatted Blaze's hand away as he rose to his feet, barking,
"Boy, I don't see a scratch on me!"
He then swiveled towards the third personality, growling,
"And you! I don't even know you, so why the hell are you showing me any contempt?!"
His fists clenched, muscles rippling. Shive wasn't in the mood for this... he had more important things to worry about. Like his half-brother...
"Answer me, now." He rumbled.

Blaze tilted hid head, eye widening.
"Ok, now I know iv met him before."
He then gasped then ran over and grabbed Shive shoulder and quickly flash-stepped them both onto a nearby roof top a few hundred feet away.
"Ok, First of all you don't need to be F*ckin' with that guy, and Second, I'm not the bad guy, and Thir-."
Blaze was cut off when the third personality suddenly appeared next to them growling.
"You'll to pay for what you did!"
He shouted before kicking Shive off the building.

"Oh, that's f*cking IT."
The third personality abruplty took a well-charged Burst Pyre to the midsection, knocking him off of the building. Shive barreled over and with warning, reeled his fist back before smashing it into the third personality's stomach, sending debris flying into the air around the smaller anthro. Shive then hefted him up by the collar, snarling,
"And what the hell do you mean by that?! What the hell'd I do to you?!"

The glowing being's eye narrowed as a pulse of energy engulfed the entire area, stopping time completely, with the exception of the two.
"You haven't figured it out yet! your dumber than you look." He then vanished and appeared next to Shive unharmed and pointed to Blaze. "Look at him, and I mean really look. You know him, you've met him, its on the tip of you tough isn't it?"
He again vanished and reappeared on the other side of the large anthro.
"The way he sounds and talks, and the way he tries to help you, even if you don't need it."
The third personality finished in a low hiss and stood in front if Shive, the glowing anthro's body began to blur and change until he took the shape of a teenage human boy.
"common Shive, you remember me right?"
Time continued to be frozen.

Realization slowly overtook Shive, and horror started visibly building in his face. His hands shook, and he clapped a hand over his mouth as he whispered,
"O-oh ye gods... it.... it is him..."
Shive's eyes were wide, and his pupils had almost shrunken to the point of non-existance. He recognized the teen, alright. He was the only human to help the confused dragonkin when he first came to this plane. He was one of the half-dragon's best friends. And he was one of Evihs's first victims.
"C-c-.... Cameron? ...but.... how?!" He gasped.

Cameron reached out to Shive, and as his hand got closer, the more transparent it became, until the boy vanished completely leaving The glowing half dragon in his place.
"You never killed him, you got close, but you never did." He took a few steps back and folded his arms. Time slowly began to unfreeze. Eko and the third personality vanished as Blaze stood there with tears in his eyes, as he asked with a trembling voice.
"why Shive. Why did you try to kill me, I need to know!"
Blaze stood tall as his knees began to shake.

Shive fought back his own tears as he roared back,
"I had no control over my actions! That was my old Hollow side that tried to kill you, not me! You know I'd have never tried anything like that!"
Shive sighed, biting his lip.
"Had I been able to stop him, I would have.... but at the time, it was impossible.... I'm sorry..."
His shoulders sagged, and he shook his head.
"But... you're still alive... how?"
