Red Arremer was hopping from rooftop to rooftop, flames curling from the corners of his maw as he growled,
"He's here! I know he is!"
Something shone in the gargoyle's grip, and he skidded to a halt near Sol's place, then bellowed,
"SHOW YOURSELF, YOU F*CKING TOOL!!!"
The roof below Firebrand suddenly splintered, and Daedalus exploded forth from it, grabbing Arremer by the back of the neck. Both demons snarled at eachother before Daedalus snorted,
"Ya know, the 'almighty' Firebrand isn't all that good in a fight. Maybe..."
His eyes narrowed, and he smirked before continuing,
"Maybe you should use that Crest you've got in your hand... or just give it to me!"
With that, Daedalus's arm-blade formed and drove itself through Arremer's back and out of his chest, causing the gargoyle to gurgle and vomit up a good handful of blood. Daedalus scowled, noting Arremer's hand was still clenched.
"Not gonna give it up, eh? Fine... I'll just take it from your smoking corpse."
Arremer growled, his vision becoming blurry as he grumbled,
"Just try it... I'd expect nothing less from Arthreonus's b*tch."
Daedalus let loose a furious bellow, then blew Arremer off of his blade with a burst of necrotic energy generating from said weapon. Arremer tumbled off of the roof and onto the street below, gagging,
"damn.... g-gotta use i-"
He was cut short as Daedalus's foot came down on his right forearm, eliciting a cry of pain from the crimson fiend.
"I'll be taking this...!" He shouted, swinging the chitinous weapon towards Arremer's arm...

However, Myrr was there before the weapon could make another mark on Arremer, blocking it with her sword, and replacing the piece of her armor that was covering where she hid it in the nano-suit second skin on her arm.
"This sucks... I was too late to keep him from dying..." Myrr muttered silently, noting that Fire Brand's wound was likely fatal.
"However, I can keep you from getting whatever you attacked him for." she finished, growling at Daedalus and shoving him away, before launching a round of her Sonic Disruptor at a frequency that shattered some of Daedalus' bones. Next, she fired a salvo from her Arc Blaster, further damaging Daedalus.
'Hopefully I'm not gonna be all bark and no bite on that matter...' Myrr thought to herself, just now realizing what kind of trouble she could be in for. As if desiring to reassure her, Xeno-Myrr came out as well, prepping into a battle stance.

Daedalus bellowed, staggering to his feet with a nasty grin and jagged shards of bone jutting out from various regions on his body.
"This doesn't concern you... not yet, anyway..."
He glanced at Arremer through bloodied eyes, then snorted.
"Fine. I'll go through you."
With that, he stormed forward, preparing to claw into his fallen opponent's defenders, shrieking,
"I will not be denied my prize!"

Myrr's eyes widenned behind the visor as she prepped to defend herself, but Xeno made a more aggressive approach, activating her Hyper mode and meeting Daedalus' charge, her own claws extended forward. The two of them clashed will equal force, but it was clear who the victor would be in a stand off like this.
Xeno, knowing her time sustaining a great enough strength was waning fast, raised her tail and stabbed Daedalus in one of his eyes, then dragged the bladed appendage across his face, making him roar, though most likely in annoyance. It was enough of a distraction though, and she shoved Daedalus back. Finally, the Phazon enhanced hybrid reach behind her back, pulling out what appeared to be a cylindrical object as long as her forearm.
The same blaster Spite had given her when he implanted the PED. Xeno slipped the connon over her right arm and took aim, firing three strong bursts of Phaze energy, that had enough recoil to make her have to dig her talons into the ground to stay rooted to the spot. The blasts themselves proved even stronger, exploding violently on Daedalus' frame. Not wanting to risk another salvo, Xeno removed the cannon and returned it to its holding pack. Myrr blinked in surprise at the power that Xeno's weapon had.
"And why haven't you used that before?" Myrr asked while she could tell that Daedalus hadn't recovered yet.
"I don't want to over do it and overload the PED." Xeno replied. Myrr decided not to ask how it could overload her PED.
"Well, I doubt he's down after that, he was Shive's older brother after all." Myrr commented, unleashing a long salvo of her gatling gun on their enemy. It wasn't much, but she felt like contributing to the fight.

((Eh, is okay. ...*swats Azure with a penny-filled sock* Just make sure it doesn't happen again! *wall-eyed angry face*))
Daedalus swayed to his feet, expression blank. His eyes suddenly flared wide as he noted his wounds were tinged a glowing neon-blue.
"What... the hell was that?" He asked, somewhat surprised.
Noting that the blue-tinged wounds weren't healing, he scowled, then looked back up at the two Myrr's. He was silent for some time, then abruptly broke out in an angry bellow, rushing forward and smashing his fist into Xeno's face. Said attack caused the Xenomorphic half-dragon to spiral through the air, acidic blood dribbling down her brow and cheeks as Daedalus circled around and kicked Myrr in the ribs, hard.
Cracking bone was heard as she too, flew through the air and skidded back into the ground. Daedalus snorted, then turned back to Red Arremer. The gargoyle was face-down in his own blood-puddle as Daedalus walked over, then brought his foot down on the crimson demon's back, eliciting a grunt of pain from the gargoyle.
"Oh? Still alive? Hardy little prick, aren't ya? ...no matter. I've dealt with your kind before."
Daedalus then took his foot off of Arremer, then lifted him up by his throat. He wrappe dhis arm around Firebrand's left elbow, then barked,
"Persistance is key!"
Arremer then bellow in pain as a sharp 'crack' was heard, and the red fiend's arm went limp.

A burst rom Myrr's Sonic Disruptor then cracked his skull, the Half dragon recovering remarkably quick, but was still very much in pain.
'damn... that hurt... What I wouldn't give for any kind of regeneration right now...' Myrr thought glumly.
Xeno clammered to her feet and, deciding to humor Daedalus, answered, "That was what I'd call my Phaze Cannon. It didn't have a name when it was given to me, but given the kind of energy its shots consist of, I figured it was an appropriate name."
"You are- so uncreative..." Myrr said to Xeno, her breath hitching in the midlle of her words.
"Can we argue about that later!?" Xeno screeched back.
"Point," Myrr conceded, and dropped the issue.
Xeno returned her gaze to Daedalus and charged at him, pivoting on her left leg just before she got to him like her foot was on grease as she , and smashed up with her right leg, sending Daedalus into the air and, if he hadn't before, making him release Red Arremer. She jumped up as he was tumbling down again and spin kicked him into a small self made 'crater.' It wasn't very big, but for it to be made by something like Xeno, it was pretty impressive. Feeling unsafe in holding her Hyper mode much longer, she disengaged it.
"Geez, I know its a pretty tacky question to ask so early, but just how more can he take?" Xeno asked humorlessly.

Arremer hacked and coughed, slowly rising to his feet as the ground beneath him steadily became soaked with blood. Daedalus grunted, rising out of the crater, swaying as he hissed to Xeno,
"Phaze Cannon, hrmm? Seems potent. Unfortunately for you, it seems to have a limit. As do you..."
Panting, the demon staggered forward, unleashing his left arm's tendril in a single fluid motion, then lashed it forward at Xeno. The three small claws at the end pierced Xeno's carapace and the entire appendage began wrapping around Myrr's dark-half, drawing her closer to Daedalus.
"Oooh... you've got a body as nice as your other half's... shame I've gotta break it!"
Arremer suddenly snarled, and Daedalus turned to the gargoyle. Said fiend was swaying, his right fist glowing as his body began changing. His armor turned to a golden hue, and his skin became a darker shade of red. A spike sprouted from each kneecap, elbow, and shoulder, while his teeth grew a bit in size, as well as sprouting a pair of horns on either side of his head's 'peak'. He panted a bit more, blood dribbling down his chin as he gurgled,
"If... I die... I'm... going to make sure... you go with me..."
Daedalus snorted, then growled as he released Xeno,
"I don't care how you die, as long as I get the Crest you just used..."
Arremer's eyes widened for a moment, then a nasty smirk crossed his face. Oddly enough, that unnerved even Daedalus... The gargoyle coughed again as he interposed himself between Xeno and Daedalus, heat shimmering off of his form.
"You want your old form back? ...so be it...."
Daedalus's eyes widened as Arremer raised his palm at the demon, and Daedalus growled,
"Oh no... I know what you're planning. Won't happen!"
With that, he bum-rushed Arremer, sending the gargoyle careening backwards through the air, broken ribs jutting out of his midsection. Daedalus laughed, then turned back to Myrr and Xeno...

Xeno took the chance to pool some of her acid blood in her hand, and then flung it at Daedalus' eyes when he turned to them, and using her now-acid-coated claws to severe the tendril from the rest of Daedalus' body. The hybrid quickly increased the distance between them, pulling the severed tendril still left on her body off and throwing it away.
Myrr glared, and charged, slamming her fist into Daedalus' face, sending him stumbling backwards. She then twirled, smashing her tail against his side, the tender weak point in the tip guarded by the sturdy armor. Daedalus tumbled over and Myrr took the chance to take flight, backing away from him.
"I doubt you can fight well when you're blind!" Myrr yelled down to him, then shifted over to the opposite side so that he hopefully didn't find her by her voice.

((.....*aims Black Hole Cluster at Azure*))
Daedalus growled, stumbling around as he blindly swiped at the air around him.
"Grah! I'll kill you for that, b*tch!" He snarled.
He paused, ears twitching, then turned just in time to receive a powerful blast of dark-purple energy to his gut, sending the already-haggard demon staggering backwards, a good foot-round hole punched through his stomach. He belched up bloody foam before he barked,
"D-damn you, Arremer!"
The gargoyle was swaying against shattered wall, smoke trailing from his maw. His breaths were shorter and even more ragged, yet his sheer will kept him on his feet as he snarled,
"You... you want your old form back, yes? Fine. I'll be more than happy to grant you that wish."
All four of Daedalus's eye-sockets widened as he heard Arremer shift back into his old form, then aimed a green stone-like object at Daedalus.
"Hrmm... I'd say.... three years..." He grinned.
Daedalus tried rising to his feet, his regeneration now failing him when he needed it most.
damn that Phaze crap! I want my body back, but not like this! He thought, baring his teeth in anger.
Arremer then let out a powerful howl as the stone shimmered, and Daedalus was surrounded by the same glow.
"Back in time.... shall you go... swine." Arremer rumbled.
Both Daedalus and the Crest flashed brightly, and the light faded to reveal a mortal-once-again Daedalus. However, he was slightly different from when Myrr first met him.... he lacked the horns that were once on either side of his skull, his wings were the same size as Shive's.... in fact, he looked almost exactly like his brother, despite having dark-red scales, black hair, and violet eyes. He was almost even the same size as his brother. Woundless, Daedalus opened his eyes and blinked, staring at his hands.
"Wh... what? He reset me by three years.... but... Arthtreonus is gone... how?"
Arremer snorted, staggering over to the dragonkin.
"Arthreonus was seperate from your body a few moments ago. The time effect only works on the entity selected. So yes, you're back to your old, old self."
Daedalus slowly started to smile before Arremer kicked him in the face, shifting back into his other form. Daedalus's hopes fell when he realized.... he was just a dragonkin again. No demonic regeneration, no hellfire breath weapon... he... he was weaker than Shive...
"Would you ladies care to take a whack at him?" Arremer asked the two Myrr's, grinning deviously.

"We'd love too..." both Myrrs' chimed with a sinister undertone worthy of most villians.
Xeno cracked her knuckles as she stepped in to Daedalus' sight, and decided to mention a little something.
"Be glad I can't fire that Phaze energy in its full, undiluted form, called Phazon, or even if you got time reversed around you, you'd still succumb to its effects, and almost assuredly die. Nobody would give you what you would need to save yourself either."
At this point, Myrr landed next to Xeno, her gatling gun at the ready and trained on Daedalus. Xeno looked over at her and grinned.
"Then again, dying by Phazon Madness may be more... desireable... compared to what the two of us would do to you... and god forbid if your brother ever found out about this... I'm pretty certain he would just love to rip you apart... limb from limb... It'd be a fitting punishment for what you did to your parents, to die again at his hands in the name of vengence." Xeno finished.
Myrr smirked evily, and unleashed a salvo of energy bullets into Daedalus' gut. Once that was done, and blood was starting to pour from his stomach, Myrr refocused her aim on the dragonkin's chest.
"Make one move to attack us, and I'll do that again, and this time I won't 'miss.'" the half dragon threatened, and then tilted her head, as if considering something, before saying, "Aw screw it!" and started firing again.

Wide-eyed, Daedalus bounced to his feet with speed created from fear, then started making a mad dash out of the area, clutching at his bleeding stomach as he thought,
damnit, you idiot! You should've known something like this would've happened! Augh! What the hell are you gonna do now?! If you die, you'll just be sent back to Hell... and therefore, to Arthreonous! ARRGH!! And the half-breeds are right... what if Brother finds out about this?! He could surely kick my ass in his current state!
He paused, then added,
I just need to get out of here for now... hide myself for a while, come up with a plan... maybe even head back to the Realm? I could get a new start the-
He was cut short as Arremer clothes-lined him, sending him spinning backwards and slamming onto his back with a loud thud. He groaned, muttering,
"Ah.... f*ck..."
Arremer grinned, then kicked Daedalus in the ribs with enough force to send him back towards Myrr and Xeno. Panting as blood dribbled into his eyes, he thought,
F*ck... I'm gonna die... I'm gonna die! No! I can't die! Not again! I won't! NO! I will not have this!
He clenched his eyes in sorrow and panic, then slowly realized something... a small grin crossed his face, and he staggered to his feet as he muttered,
"I still have a few spells left... a few, but it'll be enough..."
He glared at Xeno and Myrr, then jabbed a claw at them. A bead-sized sphere of fire launched forth at them, detonating into what was most likely Shive's old Fireball spell. Using that as a distraction, Daedalus turned back to Arremer before he blasted the gargoyle back with a lightning bolt. Cackling, Daedalus launched himself into the air, screaming,
"I won't die by your hands, nor anyone else's!"

Myrr had shielded herself with her barrier, but Xeno got blasted back by the explosion.
The armored half dragon, swapping vision modes in her visor, tried to target Daedalus again and fire, but her shots missed the dragonkin by mere centimeters.
"Dang it... he got away..." Myrr grumbled, walking out of the smoke from the blast.
"Eh... He's not to big of a threat right now." Xeno added, swaying when she got back to her feet. The hybrid shook her head rapidly, clearing some occuring stars from her head. "Boy am I glad that my dragon traits have made my flammability null and void," she added at the end.
"He may not be a threat now but he will be later. bastards like him don't take forever to get a lot of power..." Myrr concluded, then looked at Red Arremer. "You alright?" she asked him.

Arremer scowled at the dissapearing Daedalus, then nonchalantly hacked up another mouthful of blood. He calmly wiped it away before replying,
"No... I'll be dead within the next few minutes."
With that, he staggered onto his knees, his breath coming in short, ragged bursts... if even that. He shifted back into his basic form, then motioned for Myrr and Xeno to approach him. He ripped off one of his shoulder plates, then slid it towards the two. In it were four almost triangular, oval-shaped stones, each with a rune lightly engraved on their front. Each slightly pulsed with an inner light as he gurgled,
"T... take these... destroy them... please..."
He looked up, sides heaving as he asked,
"No one... no one else must get their... their hands on these... they've... caused to much strife where... I've come from. So please... get rid of them... if not destroyed, at least... somewhere no one will be able... to reach."
His eyes jerked wide and repressed another wince as he muttered,
"Thanks for the help... you mortals... ain't so bad..."
With that, the gargoyle finally collapsed face-first onto the ground, his breaths slowly diminishing. Shortly after, his flesh bubbled and dissolved off of his skeleton into nothingness, and the skeleton itself then faded into powdery gray ash.

Myrr frowned sadly at Arremer's remains, and gathered up the stones.
"I doubt we'll be able to destroy these with physical force, Xe..." Myrr muttered.
Xeno nodded, "Yeah, best keep them locked up and under guard until Sol's free to shatter them with that... almost other-worldly strength of his." At the mentioning of Solranous' strength, the hybrid shuddered. Even she was freaked by the amount of strength he possessed. If he wasn't nigh undefeatable before, he was now.
Xeno sighed to herself, then looked at Myrr. "We should get going..." the hybrid continued.
Myrr gave one last glance down to the ashes that were Arremer's remains.
'Thanks...' she mouthed, and took off. Xeno made for the skies after her.
