This thread is for you to explain how you invented/ where you got your characters. Yup, just like the thread over at the Arena.
Do I really have to go first?
Shive: This guy was actually my first Dungeons & Dragons character, but I like him so freaking much, I've used him for a LOT of things. There's at least five other versions of this guy.
O'Malley: This beam-spamming bot is my first (and only) Star Wars character. I liked his design a lot, so I brought him here.
Lora: I play an rpg called World of Darkness, which involves playing as a human, vampire, mage, mummy, or amalagation (Frankestein, basically). I've always liked werewolves, so I made Lora based off of the WoD system.
Reizus: I watch a lot of Dragonball Z. And Guyver...
Detoras: Anyone here who's read Godzilla vs Gigoramis should know where this guy came from. I have a thing for psychopaths; Not sure why...
Draethik: I'm... not quite sure how I came up with this one... but I needed a main bad guy to start us off for the forum, and he came around. I think the only thing I know about him is that his coloration was taken from that last Zoanoid from the original Guyver movie... maybe.
Shockwave: He's my favorite Transformer. It's only natural I'd bring him here ^-^
Daedalus: Shive needed a main protagonist, and about two years after I made him, Daedalus came about. Naturally, I needed a way for him to be connected to Shive, and, well... let's just say I can be evil when I want to...

Logmon: Ever heard of Urban Dead? That's where Loggy first showed up, an escaped experiment hunted down by Nuero-tech.
Logmon3: Logmon needed a big bad, some immortal monster to make life in "hellton" a little harder on him. Never showed up in the actual game, but chased Logmon throughout the game world in his entry from "The Malton Diaries."
Logmon2: Everyone else had a big T-rex, I felt left out. Appeared breifly in Logmon's entry and in the game world. Was also in one of my friend's stories on the UD Wiki. Got killed fast.
Keya: LM2's human form. She was quickly killed by Diva.
Diva: Loggy needed a backstory revamp. And I was getting into Blood+. Goes without saying I changed her... a lot.
Zetsumei: Zetsumei Doragon, "Death Dragon." Created to symbolize my world in which most of my characters exist. Bleach/Naruto/Blood+/Soul Calibur/Eva fusion. Zets sybolizes the first three, which exist at the same time, with SC being the past, and Eva being the future.

Mazinkaiser- Well, I'm a huge Go Nagai Fan and Mazinkaiser was my all time favorite robot. So, I decided to put him in the RPG.
Shin Getter Robo- Prolly ou tof pure boredom I created him. I added a different backstory to him and made him like a guardian.
Shining Gundam- I made him because I was watching G Gundam at the time.....G GUNDAM IS THE BEST ANIME EVAH!!!!

Scarface- I had decided to replay Predator: Concrete Jungle and decided to make him. He'll prolly be used as my main character now.

Solranous: Imagine this guy without his sword, hammer, and cloak, and give him an atomic blast and chage his spines so they can launch fireballs, then make him around 60-80 meters tall, that's where the resident tri-tailed dragon came from.
Myrr: I felt bad for not bringing Solranous' girlfriend from Kaijugalaxy back, so I made a half dragon that was related to both her and Solranous. Poof, here's Myrr.
Nazo: ... I needed a villian... So I... borrowed one... *bricked*
...May still bring Kisara in... MAY... >.> <.< No garuntees...

More charries, YAY!
Viper: My kingdom hearts fan dude, a Nobody, an incomplete. Although, he doesn't find it out until later, he only remembers having a heart. kind of felt bad when I finished up his story, getting slaughtered by blazzing terror, not even able to feel sorrow for all the things left unsaid...
Repiv: Viper's other half, the hearless with a brain. Able to think and act, and has a one up on Viper; he can feel. Viper was finally able to beat him, at the cost of his more advanced nobody form, becoming a dusk...
Logan: My time jumping hero from the SC saga. A black magic using, soul edge wheilding badass. He had the skill to use over three wqeapons at once while holding moses on his back. Big friend to the Sciff. Eventually killed along with Zetsumei and the other Doragons in a fight against a Chiropteran army.
Blazing Terror: Blaze after absorbing the power of soul edge and going on a killing spree. Ripped his way through most of my characters, killing Viper. Was eventually killed when Logan absorbed him into himself.

New Charries
Kisara & Onyste: I really wanted to bring Kisara back, but didn't know how. Watched a few episodes of Dragon Booster: Poof, Kisara's back along with a newbie, Onyste. I couldn't settle on which I wanted, Psi-Class or Energy-Class, so I made a hybrid.

Gaigan: Well, I'm a big fan of Guyver, and I've always thought there were a couple of kaiju that were a bit too humanoid... and that Gigan would make a cool Zoanoid. >.>
Ocrimus: Obviously, you can't have a team with just one person. So, I decided Team 7 needed a brute-force Zoanoid, and I wanted a design that wasn't used in the series. If you haven't noticed by now, Ocrimus's design was inspired by Monster Master's Scorpadon.
Zoanoid Reizus: Now you know why his skin was black. >.>
X: I like Monster X. And I like Zoanoids. Monster X is very humanoid, so... I made him a Zoanoid. ;D

AMON: The badass of anime. PERIOD. He will rip people to shreds in seconds, crush the skulls of a innocent human, and eat the flesh off of anyone's bones. He loves blood and gore. Wow...I'm the exact opposite. Well, I needed to bring in a SMF into the RPG....

I remembered this thread out of sheer boredom! WHOO! >.<
Evihs: As everyone here knows, Shive had a Hollow side back at KG. He was eventually going to take complete control, but I couldn't settle on a form out of three I picked. So, I mixed all three's best traits, and poof! Evihs. The abilities were... thought of later. >.>
O'Malley Upgrade: I thought O'Malley needed a little fix-up. He was originally going to be black, but I changed it to chrome. Later, I remembered his original design, and here he is!
Grimlock: Well, since I brought Shockwave in, I had to bring in his #1 antagonist too. Plus... it's Grimlock. Who needs a better reason than that?
Calvin: *shakes head* Some of you may be wondering why the 9-foot, crazy-homocidal dragonkin's familiar is a kitten. I'll answer that as simply as possible: Because it's hillariously ironic.
Barias: ....not sure how to explain this one. Well, my brother and I spent an enitre night playing co-op on Halo 3. I thought the Elite's looked kickass, so... I wondered what an Elite bounty-hunter would be like...
Vizard Shive: Shive beat his Hollow. Any Shinigami that does that becomes a Vizard. Nuff said.

Knight: He's been my RP character ever since I've started RPing. He came from my imagination, but he's slightly altered for every RP I go into. The only time I don't use him is when I use Hanji, who's just a younger version of Knight with an oriental name.

Shiryu: What can I say it all started with the name and I began using it as my in-game alias one day(I don't know where I got it from but it just stuck) and well he eventually began to evolve from each experience. If Azure hadn't helped me find this place I find it likely that I would have kept expanding on him instead of developing more characters to join him.

Zeke Sundog is an amalgamation of several characters I had. The name is a modified version of a character i had in a Mud, and the character is based off an extremely OP guy who lives in my brain. his name is Spectre. He's so BA he can summon infinite variations of himself into an army. obviously I couldnt bring him into ELL. it would be craziness since Spectre is basically the God of my Imagination. he also has the powers of every character I have ever created, and was the owns the original Wraith and Quicksilver. I might seperate some of Spectre's powers and create more characters. anyway, I HEAVILY modified Spectre's Abilities and Appearance. changed his name and backstory and created Zeke. Spectre is completely diffrent and if I can figure out a way to bring Spectre here without God-modding maybe I will.
So anyway I envisioned Zeke as being kind A Dr.Strange from Marvel kind of guy but less wise and more smart and also more vicious and taking more of a hardline stance against evil if that makes any sense. Spectre is generally more like me but powerful. you know wish fufillment and all that.
