The Hunt BEEGINZZ!!!

[Blaze]

Blaze speed-skips into view and stops at a large bolder roughly twelve feet tall and thirty feet wide. He strolls up closer and places both hands on it, seeming to push with all his might. The anthro exaggerated as he groaned and heaved.

"*puff* wow this is heavy, if i were somebody thats not me, then I wouldn't be able to do the things that I.....do...and...stuff..."

"Stop messing around, you have a job to do."

Eko scolds with an irritated tone.

"No can do broha"

Blaze takes a few steps back and stops, he then throws his left knee, striking the bolder, tilting the large rock onto its side at a ninety degree angle. The half dragon steps closer and leans against it looking around where the bolder once sat.

" I don't know where to find these things. Eko, you got any ideas?"

"......uh not really, I was hoping you knew."

"FINE JEEZ!"

Blaze rears back and punches the bolder, breaking it in half, causing both pieces to crash back down. He walks around for a few minutes, the spots movement. The anthro let out a squeal
in excitement and ran over to what he saw.

As he got closer he became frustrated and sat next to what looked like a strange, almost transparent shell.

"This is stupid, I don't know how to find these things. *brief inhale* WHERE ARE YOU!"

Blaze fell backward and rested, looking up at the sky.

[Talon]

A distant shriek seemed to respond to Blaze's shout, and something became visible in the distance. It looked squat, and had only two visible legs. It stopped about 400 feet from Blaze's location, the sun shining on dull, gray-tan hide. The ugly thing fit O'Malley's descritpion quite well as it swept its head from side to side, clacking its mandibles as it did so. It paused, then abruplty turned its nigh-featureless head towards Blaze as a fin-like object rose from the base of the back of its head. It stood there for a few more moments, then the 'fin' folded back down, and the thing let out an ear-shattering screech before it charged at the anthro, mandibles clacking as it went.

[Blaze]

The half dragon calmly opened only the Second Gate of Ren and stood upright waiting. The creature was now only a few feet away as Blaze's torso seemed to split, Eko extended out and grabbed the 'thing's' mandibles, stopping it in its tracks. The anthro looked as if he were literally doing two things as once, Eko blocking and Blaze preparing.

Eko fought the little monster back.

"what its organs look like? wheres it's weak spot?

"its vital organs are set up just like an armless rabbit, its kinda cool."

Eko pushed the 'think' back a few yards and reformed back with Blaze, who then sidestepped and jabbed two clawed fingers into a precise area on the monsters neck, immediately causing it to fall to the ground, paralyzed, and screeching.

The half dragon walked away a few steps taking out the device O'Malley gave him, and asked.

"uh...I got one, am I supposed to kill it?"

Eko formed next to the creature examining it curiously, periodical kicking it on the top of the head, were a fin once protruded.

[Talon]

The 'fin' snapped under the pressure Eko was exuding, and the thing let out a hideous screech of pain upon being effectively blinded. Meanwhile, a voice crackled over Blaze's radio,

"What? No! Don't even harm the damn things, just detain them!"

The voice crackled, leaving Blaze and Eko to the wounded creature. That was, until, a chorus of distant shrieks similar to their catch's came to their ears.

[Blaze]

"WHAT?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DETAIN THEM!?"

Blaze yelled through the small box.

"*sigh* Never mind iv got an idea, but it only works for a few minutes."

Blaze put the device back in his pocket and turned to Eko.

"WHY DID YOU KICK IT? YOU A*S HHAAAA JEEZ!......Fine. Use what Draco taught you and heal its fin thinky, and ill capture more."

"OH LIKE THIS IS THE WORST THING IV EVER DONE!"

The dark red anthro knelt next to the monster and jammed his fist into its neck, grabbing its spine. His fist began to glow a bright yellow, as the healing began.

Blaze flash stepped a few hundred yards out and stood there waiting.

[Talon]

Blaze was soon able to see several more of the things charging him at a dead-run, their horrid shrieks echoing across the barren landscape around them. They were soon within striking range of Blaze, and as they were, began pouncing and snapping at him in the hopes of tearing him apart. A lot of their aims seemed... off, though. Meanwhile, the one on the ground let out a gurgling moan as Eko's ability began repairing the damage to it, and as it did immediately bit down onto the dark anthro's arm, cracking bone and drawing copious amounts of blood.

[Blaze]

Eko rolled his eyes, readjusting his grip.

"Oh, I don't think you should do that."

The dark anthro flexed his arm and the monster passed out in pain.

"OH GOD!"

Blaze screamed jumping back to dodge an attack, he looked around, then smiled.

"I wonder..."

The half dragon leaped back again avoiding yet another attack. He removed his belt from his neck and wrapped it around his upper chest, strapping his wings down to his back. The anthro widened his stance and concentrated. A few seconds later his hands began to glow the same shade of yellow as Ekos. Blaze front flipped over a creature, and as he hit the ground, immediately vanishing.

A non-second later, all the monsters fell to the ground unable to move, as The half dragon stumbled around dazed.

"Wow thats dizzying."

He held the device up to his face, and fell backward.

"Hey O'Malley I, uh got sumore. they'll be paralyzed for only five minutes though. Wheres the dude that you said would come?"

Eko walked over and sat next to Blaze with a grin.

"well...it bit me, then things got blurry. I can't say I remember my actions, but...never mind."

Blaze sat up and looked over to what seemed to be a pile of mush, as a stream of blood ran from the 'thing', trailing on the ground to Eko's mouth.

"AAHH EWW!"

He fell back looking up, ready to throw up.

[Talon]

The voice crackled back over the walkie-talkie,

"damn, that wa sfast. You got ten yet?"

There had been nine new creatures before Blaze paralyzed them all, but after Eko had killed one, there were now only nine, falling one short of Blaze's quota.

((AHAHAHAHAAA! Bad choice, Eko!))

[Blaze]

"SWEET! Only one more."

Blaze yelled punching Eko in the temple.

"hmm...well... I'm done"

Eko lazily formed back with Blaze. He spoke again.

"Well...I got, nine, and Eko regrettably ate the last one."

Blaze walked over to the grotesque pile Eko had created, and tapped at it with his foot.

[Talon]

"No good, kid. Won't be coming unless you get one more Shrieker." The voice responded, cutting off the line for now.

A low rumble came to Blaze's attention, and what appeared to be a flesh-colored, horned, eyeless serpent shot out of the ground and clamped down on Blaze's shoulder, drawing blood and exerting a vice-like grip. Two more shot out, clamping down on the anthro's right thigh and left side of his stomach. A large shape began to emerge from the sand before him, revealing itself to be a head with similar shape to those of the 'Shriekers', but larger, and... the snakes... were coming out of its mouth?

[Blaze]

"OH DEAR LORD!!!"

Blaze shouted, as he flash stepped back several yard, his flesh riped from his body.

"WHAT THE H*LL IS THAT?.....O'MALLEY!..... ARE YOU THERE?!"

Blaze jammed the device into his pocket, and began his modified stationary panic.

"OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!!"

Blaze screamed running around in circles.

"...uh...its all you hero."

The half dragon removed the belt from his torso and burst into the air, gaining altitude as fast as he could.

[Talon]

The tendrils bit at Blaze, unable to reach him before he went out of their range. The tendrils withdrew into the beast's maw, then it burrowed back under the ground. Seemingly gone, the thing abruplty shot back out of the ground, revealing a 30-foot long worm lined with small, black spines. It let loose a bellow as it impacted nto Blaze, dragging him back to the ground as he started grappling at him again with its tendrils, hoping to pull the anthro into its maw.

[Blaze]

The half dragon fought back, pulling the tentacle like limb tight, as it began to strain with tension.

"thinkthinkthinkthink!"

The anthro thought still panicking. He paused as a smile came across his face.

He concentrated as he opened the First Gate of Ren, then focused as he quickly looked over the monster, immediately finding what he was seeking.

"you need any help?"

Eko asked with concern

"nah"

Blaze replied aloud. The dragon pulled harder, noticing as the large creature was loosing it hold on the ground. Blaze gave one last heave and launched himself toward his opponent, into a dead sprint.

The tentacle loosened its grip as Blaze continued his assault. The moment its grip was lost, the anthro flash stepped behind the creature and swiftly placed his left hand on the side of its head.
His hand spontaneously burst into its yellow glow as the monster froze in place, incapable of moving or relaxing any of it's muscles.

Blaze closed his eyes and relaxed knowing the 'thing' was defeated. Blaze leaped up and sat in it's back and pulled out the device.

"Hey bud I just got a big one! does it count as the tenth?"

Blaze asked as his vision blurred. He looked around realizing he wasn't completely blinded. Eko formed, standing in front of Blaze as he place a glowing hand over Blaze's eyes.

[Talon]

"Big one? Wha? Wait... there's no way in hell you could've..." The voice muttered.

A few moments later, the voice came back, shouting,

"HOW THE F*CK DID YOU DO THAT?! Eh, nevermind! Just keep those things occupied for another ten minutes or so, we're low on people at the moment."

With that, the voice was gone, and several of the Shriekers gurgled.

[Blaze]

Blaze sighed, motioning Eko to leave. He stood and walked a few feet away and put his hands into his pockets.

"This is crap, why do you act so weak when your around other people!? I KNOW you remember enough of your past to realize your power!"

Eko asked in an angry tone.

"They don't need to see me like that."

"NO! THATS BULL SH*T! THAT O'MALLEY IDIOT DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE! THE SAME GOES FOR ANYONE YOU'VE MET HERE! SO WHY DON'T Y-"

Blaze interrupted Eko, lifting him off the ground by his hair.

"NO, KNOW ONE HERE NEEDS TO KNOW!"

The half dragon dropped him and stormed off sitting on a small rock a few yards away, head hung low.

Flashback:
"Hey, wake up. WAKE UP!"

Blaze slowly gained consciousness, his eyes then shot open realizing that he was in an unfamiliar area. A large armored man ran by, followed by many more, Blaze swayed to his feet feeling blood trickling down his forehead. He calmed himself enough assess the situation, when suddenly a massive explosion threw him several feet into the air, he hit the ground with a loud 'thud'.

"WHAT THE H*LL MAN!"

He yelled frustrated.

"You've been brought here to die, now get up and RUN!"

An armored man replied pointing a sizable cannon at his face.

"WHY THE H*LL FOR!?"

The large man frowned as he took aim.

"You and everyone else here have been deemed Hazardous, and are now under extreme lockdown.....termination, in other words."

He fired the weapon creating a deep crater in the earth. The smoke and dust cleared and the soldier seeing no trace of his victim. His armor suddenly lit op in a yellow glow as he fell to the ground unconscious, as the half dragon stood behind him arm extended.

Blaze looked around seeing both human and anthro being killed in cold blood.

"WHAT THE H*LL!?"

He took immediate action, immobilizing thirteen soldiers, then paused noticing something on his chest, a worried expiration came across his face, seeing a tattoo of the number 'ninety four Elite' imprinted in his flesh. His eye shot up scanning the markings of the few people that were still alive.

"Twenty six? Thirty two? Fifty one? Whats all this mean?"

Blaze then felt himself being pulled into a shadowed area, as he was forced to sit.

"Why the F*CK are you standing in the open?"

Blaze looked up as a white half dragon grabbed his neck and pulling him closer.

"Whats going on? And why arn't you helping anyone!?"

"ARE YOU THAT STUPID!? Were being killed because they are high level fighters, deemed Dangerous."

The white dragon sat, leaning against a wall, looking over Blaze then asked.

"You don't seem to have the, look of a warrior, how did you get sent here on accident?"

"I don't know!?"

He noted the the new comers' tattoo as it read 'Sixty eight', the confused dragon covered his chest with his wing.

Blaze snapped out of his daze as Eko kicked him in the ribs.

"Snap out of it, those stupid little creature things are moving."

The half dragon rose to his feet as he faded back into the present. He walked over and placed a glowing hand on each of the monster's heads, giving them five more minutes.

"...h...hey I'm starved, you got any jerky sticks left?"

Blaze asked with a smile. Eko walked over and sweep kicked him, making Blaze fall to his back.

"Yup."
