[Blaze]

Eko broke free and stood holding his arm as he tore it all the way off, his eyes still lock on Khimera.

"actually it does, you may not see any differences but I sure do."

Eko explained

"The First Gate of Ren releases the brains restrains on the muscle, but it also numbs the nervous system to the point of overload, I feel no pain."

Eko's eye changed from flat black to bright red as a black ring became visible, veins on his face began to show.

"...And this is known as the Second Gate of Ren. This increases my visual perception, allowing me to see...everything, not only can I see and copy your movements, but I can do it before you even think of an attack..Oh yea Im not limited to 180 degree vision like all others, I see all 360 degrees at all times with a hundred mile range limit."

Eko, still grinning, threw his served arm aside.

"...Dont blink"

the evil dragon took a fighting stance and concentrated, he flexed sending out a wave of energy in all direction slowing everything down to half their original speed.

[Talon]

((...when'd he get that?))

Khimera scowled, then replied,

"I'm incapable of blinking. Besides, I doubt I'd miss it."

With that, he held Eko in place with his telekinesis before shrouding the anthro in a Fireball, smirking as he shouted,

"Trying to slow me down? Ha! I don't need to move from this spot to kick your ass!"

Garrett scowled at the fight. Despite Khimera's cocky attitude, it seemed it could go either way at the moment.

You want to help people, don't you? After all that's happened, you feel you need to attone, hmm? Varion asked.

Garrett slowly stared at the ground, then nodded.

Then, can you trust me? I can help you... but only if you learn to trust people. Can you do that?

He mulled it over, thinking of those that died because of his mistakes.

...Yes.

With that, the watch in his pocket began to emanate a faint, green light that steadily grew in brilliance.

[Blaze]

((What? Slowing down time? he learned from Solranous and Cresence battle))

Eko gritted his teeth, garring at Khimera.

"FINE, IF YOU WANNA DO MAGIC TRICKS THEN FINE!"

Ekos eyes shifted, scanning Khimera intently.
The anthro smiled as his opponent found himself being lifted into the air with Eko's telekinesis, then thrown several feet away crashing into trees on the way down.

"What other techniques do you have?"

Eko growled.

[Talon]

((I see...))

Khimera scowled after reading Eko's mind, then raised his forearm cannon.

"Something I know you lack the anatomy to copy."

The blast shot forward, impacting against Eko's stomach with roughly the force of a speeding car before detonating.

"Let's hope you have regen!" Khimera laughed, the vibro-blades on his elbows activating.

Let's hope you're ready for this, kid. Varion muttered.

Garrett was suddenly enveloped in an explosion of gray-white energy as bright as a star, forcing Khimera to pause. The light faded, causing Khimera to take his arm away from his eyes.

"Wow... that felt wierd." Garrett muttered through the smoke.

The haze lifted, and the moonlight reflected off of what this 'Varion' apparently was. Garrett was now sheathed in what appeared to be a black, rubbery bodysuit that covered his entire form. On his forearms/elbows, upper torso/back, shoulders, shins/knees, pelvis, and feet was what appeared to be an angular armor, dark-blue in color with silver highlights on each piece. The shin and forearm plating’s tops/front were shaped like diamonds, and the shoulder plates resembed diamonds with the bottom point flattened. Both hands had segmented plating over the fingers and a ’stud’ on each knuckle. His helmet was angular as well, bearing a simple three-part faceplate composing the lower portion of the face, while a pair of eyes pure green in color made up most of the visor; if one looked close enough, they could see a sort of ‘pupil’ behind the semi-transparent material. A three-pointed silver crest adorned his forehead (one point jutting off to each side, and one pointing straight up). Most of the helmet was dark-blue, like the rest of the armor, but the visor/mouth plates were silver. A single octagon-shaped ‘hole’ was set at an angle into his back-plating.

Khimera blinked in surprise, muttering,

"Well... that wa sunexpected..."

Garrett clenched his armored fists, stating,

"So this is what you really are, eh?"

"Yup! Well, sorta... you've only released half of my power. But for you, that should be enough for now." Varion's voice barked from the same entity.

He turned his gaze to Khimera, who was back to 'smirking'. Garrett nodded. then rushed forward and threw a punch. The strike missed as Khimera weaved out of the way, but failed to avoid the incoming knee to his spine, of which caused the Scourge to grunt in pain before jumping backwards. Garrett/Varion skidded in front of Eko, asking,

"Yo, red guy. You able to move?"

[Blaze]

"More than that."

Eko said standing up, as he wiped the dirt off his ripped and burnt tang-top, before it fell off completely.

"Well...Lets see wHAT YOU GOT KID!"

Eko yelled charging Khimera then hitting him with a spin kick in the stomach.

[Talon]

Khimera snarled, skidding backwards from Eko's attack.

"Kid? Boy, I'm a good thousand-years older than you!" He hissed.

He turned his glare back to Garrett/Varion, muttering,

"And you... seems you'll be a minor nuisance again..."

His eyes widened, and he threw his arms to the side as he howled,

"I'LL JUST KILL YOU BOTH!!!"

With that, he lashed both arms forward, sending powerful waves of telekinetic energy that tore apart the ground as they went. Eko and Garrett were hurled through countless trees as Khimera pursued, drool hanging from his open mandibles. With a shriek, he kneed into both teen's stomachs before kicking Garrett to the side. He snaked his tail around Eko's neck in an attempt to strangle him.

"You go first!" He hissed.

Eko was dropped as Khimera's tail was split in half, forcing him to shriek in pain, swiveling the stump around the glare at it. He turned back to Garrett, seeing a pair of black, katana-like weapons, one in each hand. A thin green line ran down the front-edge of each blade as he held one before him, and another out to the side. He suddenly lashe dhis left arm forward, throwing the left sword and lodging it in Khimera's chest, of which caused him to vomit blood and stagger backwards.

How'd it get through so easily?! He thought.

[Blaze]

"I AM SO SICK OF YOU!"

Eko boomed as he struggled to stand. His pointer and index fingers in his remaining clawed hand began to glow an ominous yellow shade.

"LETS SEE HOW WELL YOU CAN FIGHT WHEN YOUR PARALYZED FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!"

Eko began combo hitting Khimera's torso with his fingertips, he paused and finished with a palm strike to his sternum, sending Khimera sliding a few feet back.

"You now have TWO minutes until you will NEVER move again!"

Eko still struggling to stand as he went into a defensive fight stance, then looked over to Garrett.

"Im done...My body is at its max without Blaze.....you have two minutes to keep yourself alive then the as*hole over there is as good as dead, good luck kid."

Eko closed both Gate of Ren fading his vision as he kneeled from the rush of pain.

"All I can do now is my Fire Breath"

The anthro thought to himself, clinching his hand in frustration.

[Talon]

Khimera scowled, looking at the damage that was being repaired already.

"Hmph. Permanatntly disabled, eh? Something tells me you haven't fought someone with my level of regen... however, this could be a problem." He stated, noting the lack of sword in his chest.

He was about to fire off another cannon blast at Eko, before Garrett rushed forward and elbowed Khimera in the face. The twin katana's sang forward, only to be blocked by both of Khimera's vibro-blades. Both sets were emitting sparks and horrid screeching sounds before both combatants pulled away, blades held out to the side. Garrett dropped both of his weapons as Khimera's blades retracted, and Garrett suddenly pulled his right fist back at about waist level.

"Eh? What're you up to now, boy?" Khimera asked, raising his cannon.

Energy suddenly filtered around Garrett's lowered fist, coelescing into a sphere of solid green energy. Khimera's eyes widened, then narrowed again as he laughed,

"I don't know what that is, but I'm assuming you'll have to hit-"

He was cut off when his legs gave out, grunting in surprise. He glared at Eko, realizing this must've been his doing. His attention turned back to Garrett when the teen roared,

"NOOOVAAAAA..."

The octagonal hole in the back of his armor lit up, as well as several areas of the bottom of his 'boots'. He reeled the fist back further as the jets launched him forward.

"BUUUUUURST!!!" He finished.

He slammed the fist into Khimera's chest, sending an eruption of energy bursting forth, of which sent Khimera flying, a large amount of flesh missing from his chest and upper stomach regions. Blood trailed from his mandibles as he flew through several trees, smashing them apart as e went. With a resounding crash upon landing, he groaned,

"F*CK... that kinda hurt..."

And I still can't move... grr... might as well end this... He thought to himself.

With that, he blurred for a moment before Flash-Stepping elsewhere. Garrett sighed, fists clenching before he helped Eko to his feet.

"Sorry 'bout that... he was probably looking for me... and I apologize about earlier as well." He muttered to the dark anthro.

[Blaze]

"That self rightous A*S!"

Eko leaned on garrett absolutely drained of energy then grinned

"Well he was only half right"

the anthro looked at The boy in a full smile, as Eko's bloody stump slowly began reforming back into an arm.

"I may not be able to copy that body gun crap, but I can copy regenerative tecniques...but its damn slow,....uh...that and im blind for now."

[Talon]

Garrett blinked, muttering,

"Uhh... yeah it does. You got anywhere to go? Know anyone around here?"

With that, he sat the anthro against a tree, letting him lean against the trunk. He suddenly roared in pain, stepping backwards before throwing his arms to the side. Varion dissapeared in a green burst, allowing Garrett, whose body was smoking, to crumple to his knees.

"damn... that starts to wear you down after a while..." He groaned.

"Ah, you'll get used to it eventually." Varion replied.

[Blaze]

"No i don't, the only person I sorta knew was a guy named Solranous and hes dead."
The arm was almost grown back and Eko began to calm down.

"Give me a sec I need to get Blaze."

Minutes later a red half dragon anthro landed in front of Garrett laughing loudly.

"OH MAN EKO! you got WIPED BOY!"

Blaze howled looking over the bloodied up half dragon. He the diverted his attention over to the human boy.

"Well hya bud, names Blaze."

Eko and Blaze reformed with Blaze still giggling.

[Talon]

Garrett blinked confusedly, thinking,

They must be just like Myrr and Xeno...

He blinked again, then stood up, rubbing the light burns on his right arm.

"Name's Garrett... um... look, I gotta go somewhere right now, so I'll be seeing ya later..." He stated, thumbing over his shoulder.

With that, he paced off into the woods, staring at the watch on his right wrist.

damn, this thing's got some power, but some nasty kickback to boot... He thought.

[Blaze]

Blaze watched Garrett disappear into the burnt forest, his smile faded to a frown as blood ran down his maw and he leaned agents a chard tree.

"Man Eko......you need to be more carefully, you really did a number on your bodies."

"HEY IT WASN'T MY FAULT! THIS BIT*H CAME OUT AN-"

Blaze interrupted him coughing, throwing up blood,
he regained his composure and laughed again.

"...Just, talk to me next time a situating you cant handle pops up, Kay bud? You know your only a third you normal strength when were split up and we tend to do better when were fighting together."

"S-sorry Blaze."

"Hey, its fine dude just be smart."

Blaze walked until he reached a healthy part of the forest and sat under a tree falling slept.
