The humanoid shape shuffled through the trees in the dark of the night, its two perfectly-round, glowing red eyes piercing the night and causing any of the few people who saw it to run in fright. But it simply stood there and watched them run away, then continued shuffling forward. Eventually it stopped, then hopped up into a tree branch, staring off into the darkness, never blinking. Occasionally, its wings would twitch, or it would emit a mouse-like squeak, but other than that it sat hunched on its branch, watching.
One would think the Mothman was waiting for something, or someone, to arrive.

Cynder mentally hissed as she eyed the Mothman from behind. She did NOT like seeing the Dark Master, and could probably do without every seeing him again in her entire life. Hollow Cynder agreed with her, hating the Mothman just as greatly. The Hollow was half tempted to forcefully take over and fire off a Cero while the Mothman was still unaware.
"Argh... stupid thing, why is it even alive in the first place?" Cynder growled.

The Mothman was suddenly staring at her from atop the branch, those horrid eyes drawing her vision again. It let out a 'chirp' then turned back around, its body shrinking into itself a bit. It released what might have been a sigh, then shook for a moment. Its wings spread out for a moment, then pulled back, as if hesitant to leave. It doubled over, the eyes winking out of sight, as if closed.
