Ambush

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Solranous landed, setting down Garrett as he glanced around.

"I don't get it... Wouldn't Devil Kaiser meet us face-to-face if he knew we were coming? It isn't like him to lie in the shadows and catch us off guard, even if he is evil..." the dragon mused. His eyes hardened, and his scales seemed to prickle. The dragon was on high alert, and nothing could catch him off guard now.

Something was definetely off. And it seemed to him that 'Great Mazinger' was the source of this feeling. Said 'mech' landed weakly on the ground, but managed to stay upright to a degree.

[Talon]

Garrett skidded along the ground, standing up as the orb on either side of his head hummed, moving from side to side, much like an eye would. He scowled under the helmet, and muttered,

"You know, for someone as bulky as you, you have an oddly low amount of gravity..."

His control medal pulsed, and his fists snapped shut.

"KHIMERA! HE'S NEARBY!" He roared, the vibro-blades on his arms activating.

(OOC; Was Garrett referring to Solranous there? It wasn't very clear...)

Cresence scowled, and silently shifted back to normal, sending five crystalline spears at Sorlanous' back. Solranous' eyes widen quickly, and he barely Flash Stepped out of the way, the spears striking nothing but solid ground, which was easily cracked by the force of the impact. Solranous reappeared a good distance away, and balked, when he saw that Cresence looked just like him.

"Who are you!? What have you done with Great Mazinger!?" Solranous growled, trying to confirm his suspisions.

"Great Mazinger was never here! It was me the whole time!" Cresence responded, firing off more crystal spears, which were again avoid. The crystalline beast's foot sank into the ground, before reappearing under Garrett and wrapping around his feet so he couldn't move.

"Now Khimera! Now's your chance to take him out!" Cresence called, and ducked under a Spirit Rocket from Solranous. Cresence snarled, and spewed great amounts of radiated fire at the dragon, who again avoided it.

[Talon]

Garrett's eyes widened upon seeing Cresence, but went bloodshot at the name 'Khimera'. Speaking of whom, said amalagation burst forth from the crater and slammed into Garrett with enough force to rip him out of Cresence's grip and skidding along the ground, creating a deep gouge as he went. The Scourge screeched in bloodlust as he landed atop Garrett, his feet clamped onto the Guyver's arms as his own vibro-blades activated, stabbing into both of Garrett's shoulders. The Guyver shouted in pain, launching off a Head Beam that planted itself square in Khimera's left eye, sending a spurt of gunk and blood spraying out as Khimera stumbled backwards and off the Guyver.

"You-little-sh*t!" He hissed.

Garrett rushed forward, brandishing his blades before Khimera retaliated with his own, the blades emitting a harsh, high-pitched noise upon their impact. Garrett gritted his teeth against the noise, growling,

"An imitation... is no match... for the real... THING!"

He shoved Khimera backwards, who responded with several shots of his Chiggar cannon, each of which impacted against Garrett, and detonated, sending him flying backwards, his right arm dangling by a few meat-strings.

Solranous howled agonizingly as Cresence managed to spear a spire of crystal through the emerald dragon's gut. He growled, yanking the spire back out, before releasing all of his reiatsu, calling out.

"BANKAI!"

The transformation took place, and the revitalized Solranous charged at Cresence. The crystalline beast didn't miss a beat, and activated his Speed Surge, dodgind out of the way in time, but leaving an image behind, which Solranous cut through, only to be baffled.

"What the!?"

Before he could react, Cresence had struck him eighty times with the help from the Speed Surge, each hit, with that much weight being thrown at that kind of speed, was crushingly painful and sickeningly loud as Solranous' bones were cracked with the blows. The dragon coughed up blood, but returned fire with a strong punch of his own...

Which simply sank into Cresence's 'flesh.'

"Impossible!" Solranous exclaimed.

"Possible." Cresence responded, landing a devestating punch to Solranous' face, snapping his upper jaw bones and throwing him back. Solranous groaned as he picked himself up, and Cresence charged again. As he reached Solranous, he swapped his Speed Surge with his Fire Surge, and released it at point blank, sending the dragon tumbling and throughly scorched. Groaning, the dragon Shinigami desperately tried to pick himself back up before Cresence pressed the attack again.

[Talon]

"SOL!" Garrett roared, arm re-attaching.

He turne din time to get a fist in hs face, sending him tumbling backwards before Khimera grabbed his ankle and spinned him around. He then slammed the Guyver into the ground, cackling,

"I AM THE ULTIMATE LIFE-FORM, BOY! YOU'RE NEITHER SKILLED ENOUGH NOR STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE ME ON!"

He shoved his foot into Garrett's chin, pushing his head deeper into the ground as the Guyver grabbed onto his ankle. Garrett grunted as he shoved his elbow-blade into Khimera's chin, which caused the abberation to howl in pain.

"FINE! I'll kill you another way!" The Scourge barked.

He pulled his foot back and aimed a palm at Garrett, telekinetically grabbing him and hurling him into the air before Khimera cackled, booming,

"And now, you're my new kite..."

Several cannon shots erupted against Garrett's torso, blowing off armor and flesh as the teen howled in pain. The force of the telekinesis was beginning to splinter the Guyver's armor, and the cannon shots were just adding to the unwanted damage. Khimera howled in laughter before firing off a Lightning Bolt, of which exploded against Garrett's stomach, bursting out of the other side in a spray of blood and charred flesh.

"SAY GOODNIGHT, GUYVER!" Khimera roared.

Cresence didn't bother to help Khimera, seeing as how the abberation had the Guyver essentially defeated. He looked at the wobbling Solranous and scoffed.

"You dissappoint me Solranous! Are you so much weaker then I had you pegged for that I could crush you without using my true power?"

Cresence suddenly felt a beam tear through the entirety of his arm, and Solranous' maw was now smoking.

"I'm not finished yet..." Solranous replied, his wounds already healed as he now stood tall, as if nothing had happened.

Cresence snarled, and activated his Speed Surge again...

Only for the dragon to appear in front of him in that second, and carve three gashes into the crystalline beast's body. Cresence howled as he put some distance between the two of them, shocked.

"What the hell is this reversal? You were almost down for the count!" Cresence cried out, glaring at the dragon as his arm reformed.

Solranous just narrowed his eyes at Cresence, as his reiatsu suddenly flared to extreme heights, the likes of which even Armageddon would probably quiver at.

"Never underestimate your opponent." Solranous growled almost darkly, and Flash Stepped again, carving another 'gash' into Cresence before turning arouns and performing his triple explosion strike, blast off a great chunk of mass from Cresence's body. The crystalline beast whirled around and swung a punch with devestating power...

Only to be caught and countered by Solranous, who shield-bashed Cresence in response, sending the crystalline beast to the ground.

[Talon]

Khimera scowled at Cresence as the tide was slowly turned, then scoffed, glancing back at Garrett.

"Meh, not my problem." He hissed.

He suddenly felt his telekinesis diminish, and his eyes widened as the Guyver dropped to the ground, stumbling onto his knees.

"Wh-what? How?" Khimera muttered, eyes narrowing.

He caught movement out of the corner of his eye, and whipped around to look at the thing, but it was already gone. He shrugged, turning back to Garrett, oh whom was already on his feet, the damage slowly repairing itself. He wobbled under the stormcloud-scourged sky, then straightened himself, fists clenched and rising up in a defensive position.

"C'mon, asshole... I still got plenty of fight left in me..." Garrett gurgled, blood dribbling out of his air-spouts.

Khimera laughed, then rushed forward, slamming a knee into the Guyver's chin, forcing him backwards and onto the ground, coughing. Garrett's control medal pulsed, and his eyes flashed. Above, in the clouds, a spherical shape began to descend, unbeknownst to all but Garrett.

It's time... He thought to himself.

Cresence howled as another beam tore through him, and returned fire with of focused stream of flames. It was inconcievable, seconds ago, the Speed Surge had given him the edge over Solranous, and now he was barely keeping up with his foe while using it! He had found himself swapping to the Metal Surge to moderate the damage he took on more then one occasion.

The two super beings clashed repeatedly, with Cresence slowly losing more and more power to Solranous' surprisingly savage attacks. He never really had much time to respond, until he remembered something.

'Doh! Why didn't I think of that!?' Cresence chided, swapping back to his Speed Surge after weathering another attack with the Metal Surge. As soon as Solranous got close again, Cresence released the Speed Surge, causing a powerful shockwave that struck the dragon. Solranous grunted, now moving in what appeared to be slow motion. Cresence reactivated his Speed Surge, creating a massive difference in speed between the two. Cresence roared in dominance as he rapidly bombarded the slowed Solranous with attack after attack, the dragon not being able to Flash Step out of the way.

One final blow sent the dragon reeling back with more broken bones, groaning painfully, which was badly distorted because of how slow he was.

[Talon]

Garrett saw Solranous get the tar beaten out of him from the corner of his eye, only to have a Fireball explode on him, blowing a hole in the ground and sending the Guyver upwards. Khimera Flash-Stepped above Garrett and smashed him into the ground, deepening the crater upon impact before Khimera folded his arms, 'smirking'.

"You seemed so confident all of a sudden, Guyver. What happened?" He asked, tail swaying.

Garrett panted, looking upwards at the sky... or, more specifically, the large orb that was descending from it. He smirked, then replied,

"I have a confidence problem?"

Khimera 'scowled', then rushed forward, roaring as his vibro-blades activated. Garrett rose to his feet, shifting them apart as he brought his hands up. Just as Khimera was about to impact, Garrett bounded upward and grabbed the abberation's arms before spinning around and throwing him at the mouth of the volcano. With that, his gravity-control device activated, and Garrett hovered into the air, scowling as he uttered a single statement:

"Advent!"

The sphere above him suddenly rocketed downwards, immersed in a blue glow. Khimera rose to his feet, snapping his attention towards the Guyver. His eyes widened when he saw the sphere, and his control medal began to glow. He issued a silent gasp, muttering,

"What.... what's that ball going to do?!"

The sphere impacted into Garrett, enevoping him in a flash of blinding light, with which sent out a shockwave that nearly toppled everyone in the area, even Cresence. The light diminished, and Garrett landed, sheathed in the Guyver Gigantic. Khimera's eyes were wide and his mandibles were quivering as he hissed,

"WH-WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT?! I can't read its mind!"

The Gigantic issued four bursts of air before rushing forward in a blurr, smashing its fist into Khimera's stomach and sending him flying a good 50 feet into the air.

"What the f***!?" Cresence screamed as he regained his balance.

Solranous was similarly stunned, but decided to use this to his advantage, since Cresence's attention was on the Guyver Gigantic. The dragon got to his feet and charged at Cresence, still moving in slow motion from the Speed Surge shockwave. He was able to get close enough to swing an energized claw through Cresence's back, tearing through his spines. The explosion returned the crystalline beast's attention to his opponent...

Unfortunately for him, that's when Solranous speed decided to come back, thanks to telekinetic manipulation on his part, and seven more explosions rocked the living surge, sending him dangerly close to the lip of the now active volcano. It's activity triggered an alarm in Solranous' mind, because it was dea before this.

"WHY IS THAT damn VOLCANO ACTIVE AGAIN!?" The dragon screeched, pausing in his attack.

"That would also be my doing." Cresence sneered, hammering the dragon down. Solranous' speed hadn't returned completely, so the Speed Surge gave Cresence the advantage there.

"You will not live another day, dragon!" Cresence roared.

"This battle is FAR from decided!" Solranous retorted, and the two clashed again.

[Talon]

Khimera shook the galaxy's worth of stars from his vision, only to see the Gigantic barrel forward, then upwards at a 90-degree angle, smashing into Khimera and sending him flying even higher. Khimera snarled, snapping his jaws back into place, and muttered,

"I'll admit... he's a lot stronger and faster... but I'm a better combata- AUGH!"

He was cut off when the Gigantic's Head Beam nearly ripped his shoulder off, and the Scourge hissed spitefully as his cannon arm went limp because of it.

"B*STARD! I'LL KILL YOU!"

As the Gigantic stared at him mechanically, Khimera ripped open his chest plates using his telekinesis, revealing the Megasmasher. Instead of the usual blue energy, Khimera's uber-weapon composed of a red energy surrounded by green bolts of crackling energy.

"EVEN YOU WON'T SURVIVE THIS!" Khimera boomed.

The massive beam ripped forth, enveloping the Gigantic completely as Khimera threw his arm to the side, cackling as his other regenerated. The plates closed as the beam ended, and he stared deep into the smoke. His hopes immedeatly fell upon seeing-

"A BARRIER?!"

A transulcent dome of energy surrounded the Gigantic, dissapating as he unfolded his arms from before him. Khimera's eye twitched as he slumped in mid-air, then let loose a roar composed of a screech from Chiggar, Solranous's bellow, Onyste's rumble, and a sort of drone. He threw his arms forward and began firing every single weapon he had at the Gigantic; Fireballs, Lightning Bolts, shots from the Chiggar cannon, all three breath weapons, Head Beams, telekinetic pulses, and Wind Bullets. The Gigantic almost seemed to Flash-Step out of the way and into the space above Khimera.

The Scourge couldn't get out a single syllable before he was cleaved in half by the Gigantic's arm blade, then each half was grabbed by the bio-boosted collosus. Khimera vomited up large amounts of blood as he managed to gag out,

"Y-you can't ki-kill me! I have a Guyver's regeneration!"

The Gigantic merely stared back as Khimera tried to laugh, but was instead hurled at the rim of the active volcano, becoming wedged in the inside-lip of the crater. Khimera hissed out another cackle, but stopped when he saw all three of the Gigantic's gravity-control devices flare into life. The massive chestplates began to pull apart, revealing two LARGE Megasmasher orbs, of which began to draw in enormous amounts of energy.

[Blaze]

Blaze sat out of site enraged, knowing Cresence was way out of his league.
He looked over to whoever the metal man was fighting and smiled.

"lets show em were better than we appear." Blaze said opening both the first and second Gates of Ren. then releasing Eko

Eko watched and learned what he wanted and vanished silently.

Solranous roared as he charged at Cresence once more, and the crystalline beast greeted him by launching his Fire Surge release beam, Solranous, whose speed had returned to him completely, Flash Stepped out of the way...

But he wasn't the true target.

Cresence raked the beam over, and slammed it into the bio-boosted collosus' back, likely destabilizing him. He barely avoided an attack from Solranous, but the clenched his hand over the recovering dragon's head, pulsing massive amounts of energy through his body, particularly targetting his psyche. Solranous went limp after a few minutes of the crystal energy pulse.

"We may not send the Guyver to his death, but this will assuredly be your grave!" Cresence howled, hurling the dragon into the volcano's mouth, making sure he didn't recover with repeated telekinetic pulses. The last thing anybody saw of Solranous was his body vanishing under the depths of the lava...

It seemed that Cresence had won. Nobody could tell if Solranous survived it... Nobody could sense him...

[Talon]

((Khimera: *high-fives Cresence*))

A massive beam of energy slashed through the air as the Giga Smasher was released, but due to Cresence's interal, not the intended target. Khimera watched, wide-eyed as his missing half began to regenerate from his waist, but slowly. He glanced down at the lava in disbelief, scanning the area for Solranous using his telepathy. Even he could tell if someone was blocking their telepathy, but there wasn't even that. His madnibles parted slightly, and he let out a short laugh. Following which was an outburst of manical laughter that shook the Scourge's form loose from the rubble.

The black form catched himself with his wings, using the thermals from the volcano to rise up to the edge of the crater. He latched on to the side, trying to regenerate as fast as he could as he laughed,

"HE ACTUALLY DID IT! HE'S RID US ALL OF THAT goddamn GECKO! AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!"

The Gigantic rose to its feet, control medal pusling as its chest-plates closed. A faint pulse of memory coursed through the behemoth's mind, and it mixed with what had just happened. The eyes flashed red, and the jets on its back began to light up as energy coursed into the spherical protrusions on his right fist. He suddenly rocketed forward at speeds rivaling that of Cresence's using his Speed Surge, and slammed the fist into the crystal amalagation's chest. The resulting energy shockwave blasted Cresence's entire top-half off, sending chunks of crystalline goo spattering all over a 50-foot radius.

The Gigantic reached down and grabbed Crsence's tail before the animate pair of legs could regenrate, then threw him at Khimera, which in turn dislodged the Scourge. Khimera hissed as his grip was lost, then simply spread his wings again, laughing all the while about Solranous's death. Before he could rejoice anymore, however, all three of the Gigantic's Head Beams ripped his wings off, causing him to plummet once more.

"Telekinesis! Duh!" Khimera scoffed.

He paused, eyes widening. His telekinesis wasn't working.

"WH-WHAT?!"

He looked up to see the Gigantic standing at the edge, energy channeling into the main Head Beam gem once more. Khimera screamed in shock and anger before the beam ripped forth, pushing the Scourge deeper until it ripped through him, pushing him into the lava with a scream. However, before anyone could notice, Khimera's skull ejected the control medal into the side of the volcano as the body itself became nothing in the heat of the magma.

With that done, the Gigantic swiveled around, searching over the area for his other target.
