Myrr's eyes quickly narrowed into those of anger.
"Of COURSE we talk, what do you take us for, idiotic lizards?" the half-dragon growled.
Xeno-Myrr sighed, and then shoved Myrr into the forest and out of sight, elicting a screech from her light half.
"Sorry 'bout that... Both of us can be rather volatile when insulted like that." Xeno-Myrr apologized.
"Anyways, the nearest town is Nightshade. Name's Xeno-Myrr, but I tend to just go by Xe nowadays, considering the half dragon I just shoved away is Myrr. As for him..." Xeno-Myrr paused, jabbing a call in Shive's direction, "He's Shive, and don't get on his bad side, you will regret it."

Varion nodded, rubbing the back of his head.
"Sorry about that, I uh... I've been gone for a while.... and by gone, I mean, from this planet-gone. I guess I missed a lot, huh?"
Shive scratched his head, confused. Varion suddenly paused, then his eyes narrowed.
"You wouldn't happen to have seen any wierd-looking 'robots' around lately, have you? One of which may have looked like a skinny me?"
"Knowing Nexus, he's probably been in hiding... so I DOUBT they would've seen him or any of the other Ether Lords!" The other voice barked.
"You don't know that! Shuddap!" Varion yelled back.

Myrr suddenly came back out from the forest, just in time to here what the other being was saying, which intrigued her enough to pause in punching Xeno-Myrr's lights out.
"Well... I for one didn't see anybody that looked like a skinny you... BUT..."
Myrr sighed, and started describing the Earth Lord to the being, and how she and Xeno-Myrr fought him. Xeno-Myrr's ears perked up as she remembered the Ether Lord.
"OH! Yeah, him... He was a b******... He mentioned something about a 'Harbinger' during that fight... I wonder who he was talking about..." the Hybrid added to Myrr's explanation.
"Um... Why do you ask?" Myrr finished.

Varion's eyes widened, and he growled,
"Teragus... then... that must mean the other three are here as well..."
He looked back up, then folded his arms.
"The reason I ask, is... uh... I-"
"WE."
"Uh... we would be the 'Harbinger' he was referring to. I'm here to take them out before they can accomplish what they almost did three years ago..." He finished.
He shrugged, muttering,
"It's my job, apparently."

"What they almost did?" Myrr echoed.
Xeno-Myrr laughed, "Aw, don't worry, their nothing Solranous can't stand up to and come out on top against."
Myrr glared at her dark half, "Certainly you were effected by that horrifying feeling like Shive and I were, you can't deny it, something's happened, something bad."
Xeno-Myrr laughed again, this time a bit nervously. "Uh... we're just... er... being paranoid... certainly he couldn't be dead... right?"
Myrr looked down, "I want to believe that there's nothing that could defeat him... but that feeling... its just to great to just pass off as paranoia."
The hybrid looked downcast, "Stop being so pessimistic... He's gotta be alive..."

He waited for them to finish, listening to the conversation as he did so.
Sounds like they have a lot of faith in the guy... whoever he is... Varion thought.
Like Toshiro had in you, Akira? The other voice asked.
Varion's eyes lowered, and he sighed.
Yes, like Toshiro... He replied, downcast.
He managed to catch Xeno's last statement, and a pang of sadness shot through his chest. His fists clenched, making an audible cracking noise.
"I'll find you, little brother... one day..." He muttered silently.
He paused, looking up.
"Where'd your gray friend go?" He asked the two Myrr's.
Shive was gone.

"Eh!?" The two Myrrs shouted in shock, looking around franticly. Neither of them had noticed that Shive had left.
The hybrid then looked at Varion, and shrugged her shoulders, indicating she had no idea where the dragonkin had gone. Xeno-Myrr then took flight, hoping to find him. Myrr sighed sadly, looking towards the volcano.
"That's probably where he went, because that volcano's not suppose to be like that..." Myrr said, spreading her wings and lifting up into the air. she looked back a Varion while hovering in the air. She waited a few more minutes, before charging off for the volcano.

Varion sighed again, then tilted his head back to look at the sky as the sun's rays struck his head-crest at an odd angle, making it shimmer. Pictures of roughly half a dozen people shot through his mind as his eyes closed.
Toshi... Megumi... Shinji... Ryouki... what's become of you?
His eyes slowly opened, and he glance dback down to see the others gone. His eyes widened as he uttered a strangled sound of surprise.
"I gotta pay more attention...." He muttered.
"That you do, Harbinger... that you do..." A voice hissed from seemingly everywhere.
Varion's head jerked around, trying to find the source of the voice. Not finding it, he grumbled,
"Nexus... you'll pay for this..."
With that, his wings spread and he rocketed off into the sky.
