The silver truck slowed to a stop across the street from Solranous's place, then the engine died. In the bed of the truck were multiple items and boxes, most of which appeared unopened. Among them was a futon, a mid-sized television, a mini-fridge, and other furniture. The driver-side door popped open as Garrett hopped out, who kicked open the door to the building and began hauling in the luggage without a sound. He had a bit of a scowl on his face, but didn't seem to be much.
About five minutes later, the truck was half-empty, and he stopped, leaning against the parked vehicle as he stared at the building.
"This... is my own place... firt time I'll be living alone..." He muttered.
He sighed, bowing his head before he went back to work.

While Kisara had missed the fact that Garrett had arrived and started lugging furniture into the house across the street, such sounds did not go unnoticed by Onyste, who then alerted Kisara. Kisara, then, went out with Onyste over to the Ford, just as Garrett started back to work.
"Hi, Garrett!" Kisara called to him, hoping to gain his attention.
"Uh... need any help with moving that stuff in?"

"No, thanks, I got it..." He muttered, not even bothering to look up as he hauled the futon in.
As he came back out, he stated,
"I hope you guys don't mind me moving in here.. if so, I can go somewhere else..."
Waiting for an answer, he picked up the tv and stepped inside, trying to find a spot for it.

"Of course it's alright..." Kisara told him, a smile on her face...
Which quickly turned into a frown, as she remembered something Solranous told her about. Something concerning the Guyver's family, which she'd rather not mention to Garrett lest he bring it up first.

Garrett didn't need to see Kisara to know what she was thinking; he'd gotten that from several other people recently. His eyes narrowed, then he shook his head as he hauled in the rest of the stuff. He took the next five minutes to arrange it as he saw fit, then paused, glancing in the corner. His eyes widened, and a burst of light came from inside the building. The next thing that happened was a Xenomorph being thrown out of one of the second/top floor windows as the Guyver's armored head followed, shouting,
"STAY THE HELL OUTTA MY PLACE!"
The Xenomorph skittered away as multiple Head Beams burned into the ground around it until it faded out of sight. Garrett grumbled as he hoppe donto the ground, disengaging the suit. His fists clenched as he glared at the spot where it was last seen, then sighed, turning to Kisara. His eyes narrowed upon her expression, and he muttered,
"I know what you're thinking. Don't bring it up, please."

"I didn't intend to." Kisara responded.
"If you ever want some one to talk to... feel free to come by." she offered, as she and Onyste headed back to their own house, the False Dragon chattering something to her, to which she whispered something inaudible in response.
She looked back at Garrett, her expression now unreadable, before turning away again.

Garrett's head bowed, and in silence, he walked back into the house, slamming the door shut. He flopped down on the futon as he stared at his blank television screen, then abruplty threw the remote against the wall and shoved his face into his hands, shoulders shaking with silent cries, his teeth gritted.
* * * * * * *
Meanwhile, a single humanoid entity stood alone on the roof of Solranous's house, its dark-purple armor contrasting greatly against the sky. A black cloak covered its back, and a helmet on its head covered its saurian face. A sword as long as its wielder was tall was strapped across its back. It watched Onyste and Kisara walk towards the house, then jumped out of sight.
