The avian-looking Ether Lord landed on a junk pile, glancing around the area with his four sky-blue eyes. He was the most lithe of the four, bearing smooth, swept-back plating colored a light green color with gray joints. His head brought to mind the ex-Zoanoid Gaigan, bearing an almost exact visage of the cyborg's face, except he bore two spikes on either side of his maw instead of two pincers, his mouth could completly close, and he bore three spikes running backwards at a 45-degree angle along his head. Two wings resembling jet wings crossed with a bird's main mode of transportation. A thin, sinuous tail tipped by a scythe-like blade stretched out behind him, and three blades ran up the side of either forearm. Each foot ended in four digitigrade, raptor-esque talons (three in front, one in back), and four flexible claws in the arrangement of human digits.
"Master told us to scout the area. He also said to look for good machinery. Where am I to find good machinery?" He muttered, wings twitching.
He sighed, glancing about the area. His eyes narrowed as a memory shot through his mind...

The Wind Lord stood amongst a wasteland, scattered with the debris of shattered buildings everywhere. Before him stood a humanoid figure of almost bulky build, yet skinny enough to be fairly proportioned. Two triangular wings were mounted on its back, and two yellow eyes shone out from its face. The Wind Lord was badly damaged, his regeneration failing him at this point.
"I'll take you down with my last breath, Harbinger!!!" He roared, taking to the air.
He dashed forward at speeds unrivaled by any other machine as his opponent spread his arms slowly. As the biomachine was about to impact, his opponent suddenly unsheathed two katana-like blades from his shoulders, rushing forward. What sounded like metal being sheared echoed through the air as the Wind Lord was split into thirds. His opponent whirled around as energy gathered before his chest...

The Wind Lord screamed in mental anguish, clutching at his head with both claws.
"NO!!! It will not happen again! The Harbinger is no more!"

"Question: who the hell are you?" Hollow Cynder asked as she crawled up on top of one of the junk piles and looked down at the Wind Lord.
"Also, what the hell are you here for? Personally, I just look at you and know I'm not going to like you." the Hollow continued, priming her claws and blades, but keeping her wings folded.
(OOC: *shrugs* Some of my Charries really need to get out more often...)

"GRAH! Who are you?! How'd you get here?! How'd you find me?!" He screeched, jumping into the air as he spread his wings.
His claws flexed as his arm-blades generated a humming noise, eyes narrowing.
"Identify yourself! You have ten seconds to comply!" He hissed.
He glanced around, then noted the four Veritech 'corpses' from a few weeks ago during O'Malley's siege on the city. He broke out into a sickening grin before turning back to Hollow Cynder.

"I have no name of my own, so I am referred to by the name of my host, Cynder. Because my status, I am know by those here as Hollow Cynder. Uncreative, I know, but if things had gone differently, I would've had my own name." Hollow Cynder replied, before noticing the Ether Lord's look at the Veritech wrecks.
"You make one move towards them, I'll tear you to pieces. And if I can't, I know some one who can. I don't like that look, so I know you're up to no good. Don't think about trying to choke me, because I don't need to say a thing to have him come running." the Hollow warned, spreading her wings and becoming air-borne.
'Problem is... I don't know if I can take him down... He looks mechanical... so most of my attacks probably won't work to the full effect, or even work at all, on him...'

The Wind Lord suddenly let out a hissing cackle.
"Someone who CAN? HA-HA-HA! That IS amusing, 'Cynder'! There's only been one being in existance to have bested me, and he-"
He paused, scowling.
"I won't get into that. The real matter is, you're obviously not worth my time. Be gone with you, black wyrm."
He was suddenly standing next to the Veritech wrecks, and his chest plating popped open. Snarling, he ripped out what appeared to be a black, squishy sphere covered in pulsing blue 'veins'. He grunted as his chest plates closed, strings of slime dangling off of them. He placed the sphere on one of the Veritechs, muttering,
"Be whole, bretheren."
The sphere then seemed to melt into the machine's body, dissapearing from view. Then, abruptly, the bot's eye glowed into life as the rest of its body started repairing itself and... changing. Its fingers turned to claws, and its rifle attached to its shoulder as various section re-arranged and morphed monstrously. The Veritech, now a dusky-white humanod with clawed hands and feet nd two bat-like, metal wings formed from its old pair. Its mouth-plate opened to reveal a maw full of sharp, transulcent teeth. The green Cromian stepped backwards, muttering something to himself.
The Veritech-thing lashed its head from side to side, snarling. The Wind Lord then jabbed a claw at Cynder, hissing,
"There is your target. Kill her, then return to the mountains."
With that, the avian biomech jumped into the air, screeching to Cynder,
"If you live, you shall learn not to trifle with Avialis, Lord of the Wind!"
He was then gone in a flash of wind, leaving the new Cromian to Cynder as it took a few steps forward, snarling.

Hollow Cynder stared the Cromian in the eyes, but still backed up a few steps. Again, her opponent was rather thoroughly mechanical, so she doubted any of her Hollow-based attacks would do anything to it, and her fire breath would be just like normal fire breath against it.
The Hollow scowled, and decided to make the first move, lunging at the Cromian with her claws, charged with Cero energy just incase they, for whatever strange reason, would do more damage in that state despite her foe's mechanical state. Her claws rended the enemy's chest armor, and appeared to be just as effective as if they were uncharged. Hollow Cynder scowled again, then bathed the Veritech Cromian with her fire breath up close, causing her foe's armor to be charred, and some minor points even began to melt from the flames. Hollow Cynder performed a complete 360, first slashing with one of her wing blades, then carving a gash into the waist with her tail blade, and finally raking the Cromian's optics with her other wing blade.
Hollow Cynder then jabed her fore claws at the Cromian's face, intending to gouge out circuitry there and hopefully completely disable its eyes.

To the Hollow's supposed surprise, blood seeped and/or sprayed out of every wound she caused. Dodging Cynder's next attack, the Veritech snarled in a high-pitch before its shoulder cannon charged with electric-blue energy. A beam of said energy lanced out and burned through Cynder's wing before the Cromian screeched again, taking to the air and firing off several more beams. With another surprise, the metal and biomechanical flesh began to heal at a slow, but visible rate.
The thing screeched before firing off several miniature missiles at its undead opponent, hoping they'd hit.

Smoking, Hollow Cynder was indeed shocked at the sight of blood.
'So it seems to be some kind of cyborg? That changes things...' she thought, then grinned. One of her strongest moves would actually be useful!
The Hollow braced her legs, even as the missiles streaked towards her, and started gathering reiatsu in her maw. Her jaws parted, as the sphere of a charging Cero was made.
"Try this on for size!" Hollow Cynder roared, launching the Cero, which encompassed the incoming missiles, but other wise didn't do anything except blow them off course so that they crashed all around her. The Cero quickly closed on the Veritech Cromian, and then caught his arm and a small part of his chest, obliterating all the living flesh and leaving the mechanical parts behind. Knowing her wing was damaged, she was certain that she wouldn't be able to fly very well, or maybe even not at all, with it.
Hollow Cynder roared at the Veritech, and barrelled towards it, her back starting to glow with reiatsu, before Hollow Cynder went into a roll and created her Cero Saw. Before the Veritech could get out of the way, it was caught trying to hold back Hollow Cynder's Cero Saw...
Which looked like it was beginning to cut through the armor. If this continued, the Veritech may very well find itself cut in half.

Unfortunetaly for the Cromian, it couldn't hold back the Cero Saw forever, and was indeed split in half, sending thick, gray-black blood spraying into the air as the individual halves fell down. The halfs twitched, trying to regenerate, but could not due to the fact they couldn't reach one another. Yet they wouldn't stop twitching...

"...What the Hell?" Hollow Cynder asked as she looked at the twitching halves after coming out of her saw. She backed up a few steps, afraid that the machine may explode on her. While it wouldn't be fatal, it would assuredly leave her helpless. The Hollow growled, have tempted to destroy the halves with a Cero, and backed up a few more steps in case it does blow up.

Still twitching, the two halves continued to leak blood until their supplies were drained, yet still continued to attempt at regeneration, which, of course, failed.
"Maybe you should just destroy those... something tells me it won't explode." A cloaked figure standing next to Hollow Cynder stated.
His approach was so silent, he could've been standing there for five minutes and Cynde rmay not have noticed. O'Malley turned a hidden eye on her and continued,
"It's just trying to regenerate... it won't die until destroyed completely."

Hollow Cynder, honestly, was about ready to fry O'Malley when he spoke, having been scared sh*tless at being snuck up on like that.
"Thanks for the info, I didn't want to get caught in a painful blast." Hollow Cynder said to O'Malley. She opened her jaws and started to prepare a Cero, before something clicked in her mind.
"Wait-a-minute, do I know you? Cause you seem awfully calm for standing only a few feet from an Adjuchas Hollow... Oh whatever..."
She shrugged it off, and charged the Cero, then fired and obliterated the organic parts of it.
"Huh, for all his boasting, Avialis' newest servent was a rather... lack-luster fight..." Hollow Cynder murmerred aloud, before turning to the cloaked O'Malley, and gazing at him curiously, "Ok, seriously, I feel like I should recognize you, but I don't. And it's not like me to forget someone's face."

O'Malley had his arms crossed behind his back and 'hmphed', laughing,
"Perhaprs you have amnesia?"
He chuckled to himself, then spinned around on his heel-claw, his back to her.
"While I know very well who you are, I believe we've only met in person once, Cynder, and that was on less-than-favorable terms. Just know this-"
He held up an arm, extending his index finger.
"I'm helpful if you know how to approach me. Also, I like flaming anime forums to piss people off."
With that, he continued walking at a slow, casual pace.
((And THAT is why he's my fave :3))

"Only met once... on less-then-favorable conditions?" Hollow Cynder whispered to herself. It took about an hour of her just standing there and looking stupid... but something finally clicked in her mind, and when she turned to where the droid had gone... he was already out of sight.
"O'Malley... How the hell are you still alive? When Solranous specifically said that you were as dead as a droid can be?" the Hollow asked to no one, and left in the opposite direction. She would confront the droid later.
