The thing stood roughly 10 feet tall, bearing a resemblance to a mechanical anthropomorphic lizard. Its plates were all angular and sharp, and its head was almost rectangular in shape, narrowing as it went forward. Each foot bore three triangular claws, all of them jutting forward. Each hand ended in four digitigrade claws, and a series of small blades ran along the top-outer edge of the machine's head. Two small blades jutted out from its reptillian chin, and its long, segmented tail ended in a pair of thinned, axe-shaped blades on either side of a short barrel. Its coloration was mainly a red-orange, with gray joints and a pair of yellow eyes that seemed to betray its mechanical nature. Three blades jutted out in a cluster from each elbow, and a pair of flamethrower barrels emerged from each forearm. Six spikes with flat undersides and jagged ends emerged from its back, three on either side of the spine.
The entity seemed to be dragging several various animal corpses through the night, each of which looked... fresh. Its eyes narrowed, occasionally glancing from side to side. Anyone at the lake a few days ago would recognize this being as one of the four that 'saved' the group from being attacked by the Destroyah swarm. It grumbled something under its breath, the air shimmering around it as it did so.

'Hmm... What is this?' something thought as a liquid crystal substance surfaced from the earth about five meters away from the mecha-lizard... thing.
Cresence tilted his head after forming and looking at it. He had no idea what this thing was, so he was going to stay quiet and just observe. the crystalline beast 'dove' back under the ground, curiously gazing at the lizard machine.

The entity stopped, ripping the head off of a dead deer he was clutching. It opened the plating where its mouth would be, and revealed a biomechanical maw filled with dagger-like back teeth. It tossed the head in, the sounds of crunching bone coming from the jaws as they clamped back shut. It made a swallowing sound, blinked, then glanced around, eyes narrowed again. Its tail swished slowly as a spout of flame emitted from the barrel at the end. It shrugged, then continued dragging the corpses with it.
"A larger meal is required for the Master to recover..." It growled quietly.
Free hand clenching, it added,
"But where am I to find such fruitful life-forms on this wretched planet?"

'...Just what is this being trying to accoplish? And who is this 'Master' he speaks of?' Cresence pondered as he followed the other being.
'Oh whatever, I'm bored, and I still need to let off some steam from my encounter with that strange alien.' he finally decided, and made the ground underneath the lizard machine quake for a few seconds, just to toy with it.

Without a moment's hesitation, the machine tossed the carcasses to the side, reeled its right fist back, and slammed it into the ground beneath him, causing a pillar of fire to erupt upwards from the point of impact. When the smoke settled, there was good 15-foot crater in the ground, with smoking cracks running a good 20 feet away from it. The machine 'hmphed', picked up its load, and continued onwards, tail swishing.
"Any other life-forms in the area best show themselves, lest the surrounding area be burnt to a crisp in my attempt to find you."

"Oooh, I'm quaking with fear, not." Cresence sarcastically replied as he sent an arm above ground in front of the machine before hauling the rest of his body out, and looking at the lizard machine.
"Obviously you don't react very nicely when someone is trying to have some fun, so it seems I have to make this rough." the crystalline dragon continued, assuming a fighting stance and hissing.

The bio-machine stopped, then swiveled its head towards the crystalline creature. Its eyes swept Cresence up and down, scanning him for... something. It turned its head back to the previous direction and kept on walking, stating flatly,
"Life-form not of the correct carbon-basing. Not quite organic, either..."

Four crystal spikes were suddenly just a few inches off from being driven through the machine's head, and Cresence growled.
"Don't you turn your back on me..."
the crystal spikes reconverted back into a liquid state and wrapped around the machine allow Cresence to lift it up and send it crashing back down, head first. Cresence grinned and released the machine, and sent another crystal spike his way, not intending to miss this time.

The crystal was reverted to slag in a burst of crimson flame before it could impact the entity. Said being turned around, glaring at Cresence intently.
"You would've done yourself a favor, had you merely left the area. But it seems now, punishment must be administered."
He barreled forward and grabbed Cresence by the throat and perfomed a 1440 spin before hurling the crystalline creature through several gravestones, following him the entire time. The beast's right arm opened up several vents, of which began emitting heat hot enough to scorch the ground 8 feet below it. He smashed the fist into Cresence's abdomen, hissing as it melted through part of the crystal, the brute force cracking through it. The flames dissapated as the machine grabbed Cresence and lifted him off of the ground by his face, hissing,
"The phrase 'trial by fire' has a new meaning to you now, abberation..."
His left fist raised slowly before he swept it forward, enveloping it in a pillar of fire, sending Cresence flying a good several dozen feet upon the explosive impact. The reptillian machine swayed its tail, smashing it through a headstone.
Master will be angered if I keep this up for too long...

Without missing a beat, Cresence righted himself and charged again, screaming, "That was nothing! You want fire!? I'LL GIVE YOU FIRE!!!"
With this declaration, Cresence activated his Fire Surge, bringing with him intense heat, as his coloration became ruby-like once more, his body taking on a more muscled appearance.
[glow=red,2,300]"THIS IS THE TRUE WRATH OF FIRE!!!"[/glow]
Cresence slammed into the machine, who obviously was caught unawares by his foe's change, and created a large trench from the impact. the crystalline beast growled,
[glow=red,2,300]"Don't be too surprised if you can't return to your Master by the time I'm through with you. Before this is over, you will either be apart of me, or you will know that I am superior to you!"[/glow]
With that, Cresence kicked the machine away, while simultaneously raising his hand how into the air, and forming a hammer with his fist. He brought it down to crush the machine, and this time fire wouldn't save it.

Moments before the hammer impact, the entity swerved to the side, letting the ammer impact into the ground. Dozens of vents opened up on the machine's body, enveloping the biomechaincal monstrosity in a surge of sustained fire. He grabbed Cresence by the hammer-arm then hurled the crystalline beast into the air before launching after him itself. His right fist slammed into Cresence with enough force to chip a few shards off, but that wasn't the proble: The ensuing explosion was.
The smoking Cresence drifted downwards, but before he could land, the flaming cyber-beast pile-drived Cresence back into the ground using both feet. The mech grabbed Cresence by the face, bringing it close to his.
"You know NOTHING of this element! You will never know all that this force of nature has to offer! I, however, do! I was forged from it, I control it, I AM IT! NO ONE IS SUPERIOR TO THE ETHER LORDS!!!" He boomed.
He drove his foot deeper into Cresence's chest before hopping off backwards, fire still blazing with all its might.

Cresence just stood back up without so much as a flinch.
[glow=red,2,300]"You still don't get it, do you? Unless you vaporize me completely, you can't kill me! And even that wouldn't keep me down forever! I am as immortal as one can get without becoming a god!"[/glow]
The crystalline beast roared at the cyber lizard, before continuing.
[glow=red,2,300]"Yet you claim no one is superior to an Ether Lord? While I already have great power over fire, you're complete and total manipulation of the element will be useful to me, for I won't have to focus my telekinesis to help me control it, which means I can spend that energy on something else."[/glow]
The beast's arms suddenly shot out, wrapping arouns the machine's torso, pinning his arms to his side. Thanks to the Fire Surge currently active, Cresence was afford a major resistance to heat, which is added on to his natural resistance, meaning that he is essentially unaffected by any heat short of the Earth's core. Cackling, Cresence started drawing the machine closer to himself, his intentions clear...
Absorbtion.

The bio-beast's eyes widened a bit, then narrowed as he muttered,
"As if I'd give you that option..."
His tail sand through the air and slashed through Cresence's arm, then grabbed the stump before it could regenerate and yanked Cresence toward him. As soon as the crystalline beast was about to impact, the bio-beast spinned and delivered a powerful kick to Cresence's jaw, sending him flying back once more.
"Vaporization, hrmm?"
With that, the six spikes on his back suddenly issued massive bursts of white-hot fire, causing the air around him to become extremely hot. With a derranged cackle, the beast hunched down, planting his claws into the ground as his maw slowly opened. Particles of orange energy slowly began flitering into the open mouth, forming a sphere roughly 3 feet in diameter. The air around him slowly began to literally explode from the sheer heat it was exerting.
The sphere suddenly dissapated, and the figure's flames died down as it stood back up.
"On second thought... you're not worthy to die by my hand. I've got a mission to do." It stated flatly.
With that, the creature bounded off into the trees, roaring,
"Lord Nexus shall deal with you, and all other wretched life-forms on this planet!"
With that, he was gone from sight.

Cresence snarled as he got back up, muttering various swears, but all the same he deactivated his power surge.
"Next time, you cyber gecko... next time..."
The crystalline beast sank into the ground as he slithered off to vent some steam somewhere else.
