Solranous had to slit his pupils to keep from being blinded by the daylight in Seiriteri. The dragon sighed, trying to determine just where he was in the Shinigami home city at this moment. After getting his bearings, the dragon Flash Stepped to 10th Squad's building, arriving at the door to Hitsugaya's office.
"Captain Hitsugaya?" the dragon asked, his tone of voice alone asking permission to enter. He would let the 10th Squad captain bring up the issue concerning his order to me moved into Seiriteri first. This assuming he was even let in in the first place.

The door was thrown open, and a female voice suddenly shouted,
"Scaly's back!"
Lieutenant Matsumoto abruptly jumped through the doorway in an attempt to tackle Solranous, but Hitsugaya appeared in time to grab her by the ankles while still in mid-air and spin around, throwing her back into the office. Panting, he slammed the door shut and gave Solranous that all-too-familiar bored look, though tainted with his obvious irritation.
"Yes? I assume you're here about the order I sent you?" He asked, folding his arms.

"Forgive my interruption, but in a sense, yes, I'm here about the order. I have completed the twenty-five Hollow quota required to have the order to be permanently moved to Seiriteri revoked. To be specific, today alone I managed to strike down about... thirty-five to fourty Hollows, give or take a few..." Solranous said, dipping his head in recognition, before becoming downcast.
"Even though I was reluctant to destroy one of them, having been my friend while he was alive..." the dragon finished in a whisper.
"Anyways... Is that normal for Lieutenant Matsumoto to do? Or has she gotten drunk on the job?" he asked, honestly curious. She hadn't acted quite that bubbly the first time they met... Well... she might have and he just didn't notice, but she hadn't tried to tackle him... Lord knows Kisara would take that the wrong way if she saw her do that to him...

Hitsugaya rubbed his eyes in irritation, grumbling,
"Yes... she's usually like that, unfortunately. And yes, she is drunk."
He sighed, shaking his head, then looked up at Solranous.
"You know that threat to move you to Seiriteri was just a gimmeck to get you back to your Shinigami ditues, right? In any case, you did a decent job, and I'm sorry to hear about your friend. But hey, you're still technically alive, so you should be back on Earth, enjoying that. Now beat it before Matsumoto wakes up. Or worse, Zaraki shows up..." He stated flatly.

The dragon's eye unnoticably twitched three times, once at the mention that it was just a gimmick, which he wasn't too impressed about, twice at the mention of Matsumoto waking up... He didn't have much desire to get glomped by a drunk Lieutenant who might try and doing things to him... and finally at the mention of Zaraki. He knew there was a reason he liked to keep his reiatsu hidden... he didn't want to draw unwanted attention to himself and fight more then neccessary. And after having to destroy Reizus, he wasn't very keen on launching into another fight.
Lord knows Zaraki was probably looking for him right now if he knew the dragon was in Seiriteri at that moment.
"Very well, good day to you, Captain" the dragon said as a farewell, before returning to Earth.

Hitsugaya sighed, rubbing his eyelids. He'd been doing book work for the past three days straight, and his weariness was becoming apparent by his more-than-usual irritableness. He stepped back into his office, only for the opposite wall to explode outwards as the ehemoth Zaraki barged, shouting, "EH?! WHERE IS HE?! I KNOW I SENSED 'IM HERE!" At that moment, Matsumoto sprang awake, shouting, "Where'd Scaly go?! What's Zaraki-san doing here? Can I go now?" At the bombardment of questions that followed, Hitsugaya's head sagged, and reiatsu began spiraling around his feet... Outside, the top-most window abruptly coated over with a few inches of frost as Hitsugaya's voice boomed through half of Seiriteri, "BOTH OF YOU, OUT OF MY OFFICE!!!" ((End thread  )) |
