Worst Homecoming Ever

[Talon]

Garrett stared in disbelief at the burnt section of land that once sat under his house. There was nothing but burnt timbers and ash in it's previous location, and no furniture remained.

"Wh... wh... why?" He mumbled, confused and scared.

He stepped into the burnt section, hands clenching and unclenching as he stepped over blackened dirt and piles of ash.

"Oh god... I hope mom made it out okay..." He muttered.

"Oh no, she's dead. I killed her shortly after burning the house down." A voice called out through the night.

The hair on the back of Garrett's hair stood on-end as he whirled around, activiating his vibro-blades as he did so. Standing a few feet from him was none other than Khimera, whose arms were crossed and his tail swishing.

"YOU.... I thought I killed you..." Garrett muttered, fists clenching.

"You DID. But I came back as this FREAK, and so I took my anger out on your personal life. Was that a bad thing to do on my part?" Khimera sneered.

The control medal pulsed on both of their foreheads, and Garrett growled,

"I'LL.... I'LL KILL YOU!!!"

The teen rushed forward, screaming as he waved the vibro-blades about dangerously. Khimera 'hmphed' before dodging the blades, returning the favor with a point-blank shot from his forearm cannon. The blast sent Garrett flying backwards, a crater blwon into his midsection. Nontheless, Garrett got back up and charged, firing off Head Beams as he went and brandishing the vibro-blades.

"You just don't learn, do you?" Khimera asked.

The Scourge-Guyver fired off his own Head Beam, each shot taking out Garrett's as he rushed towards the Guyver in return. Both of their vibro-blades impacted against eachother, emitting a harsh screech as Khimera snarled,

"You RUINED my life... so I returned the favor!"

He kneed Garrett in the stomach, then stabbed him in the shoulder with his tail blade. As Garrett went to look up, the last thing he saw before passing out was electricity spiraling down Khimera's arm into his finger...

The bolt never hit Garrett though, as Solranous made sure after he Flash Stepped in the way, blocking it with his shielded hand. Khimera looked like he was about to say something, but never got the chance as Solranous double chopped his neck, making the Guyver-Scourge momentarily gag, before he was winded by an attack he used on Garrett, Solranous had kneed him in the gut, before throwing both of his fists into an upper cut, sending the Scourge flying up. Solranous chased him with Flash Step, and energy orb building in his hands. The dragon slammed it on the middle of Khimera's chest, which send a large jolt through his mind.

"That just overloaded your Mega Smasher, keeping you from using it for a while" Solranous told the Scourge, "And if your as close to a True Guyver as I think you are, you can't survive without that." he continued, looking a the control medal, as a bladed tail sang through the air, attempting to jab through it.

[Talon]

Khimera's own telekinesis suddenly stopped the tail as Khimera cackled,

"I'm no Guyver! I'm better than a Guyver! And remember, I have your abilities as well, soo..."

Solranous's tail then emanated a cracking sound before Khimera carved twin gashes into Solranous's chest with his vibro-blades, then twirled around and booted Solranous back towards the ground. Khimera followed it up with several rounds from his arm cannon, hissing,

"Well, I've gotta jet, I-"

He screamed in pain as Garrett's Mega Smasher blast tore his right arm off, forcing the Scourge to drop in altitude. Garrett was hyperventalating from his rage as he charged Khimera, who, just as Garrett was about to impact, Flash-Stepped out of the area. Garrett fell to his knees, slamming both fists on the ground as he screamed,

"damnIT! HE CAN'T GET AWAY WITH THIS! SHE WAS ALL I HAD LEFT!"

He threw his head back and cried,

"Now I've no home, no family, nothing! AUGH! HE'LL PAY!!!"

Solranous growled and softly landed by Garrett, gazing at the ruined remains of his home. The dragon glared at the skies where Khimera had once been, and wrapped an arm around Garrett.

"Yes, he will pay, we won't let him get away with this atrocity..." The dragon paused, and then continued, "But not now... He is far too powerful to defeat on our own. We must enlist the help of the allies we have in order to defeat him..." Solranous finished.

[Talon]

His head bowed, Garrett shook his head weakly.

"He'll f*cking pay for this... I'll make him wish he never came to this goddamn planet... I'LL RIP HIM APART BY MYSELF IF NEED BE!!!" He growled, voice rising.

He stared at the burnt section of land, tears welling up in his eyes.

"First Cameron, then dad, Leo, and Jeremy... and now mom.... they're all gone, and I couldn't do anything about it..."

He slowly stood up, then stared up at the sky.

"...at least I know my truck is intact..." He muttered under his breath.

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Solranous sighed, he knew the effects of anger, no, pure rage.

"Garrett... I know the pain of loss... But you mustn't let your anger control your actions or cloud your judgement. Khimera can and will use your anger to his advantage. You must be calm when we fight him again... or that rage will be our undoing. Rage is a deadly weapon, but it is unwieldly, capable of harming the user as potently as the foe. We are dealing with a cunning beast, who can turn your rage against you. Not only that, but he is more then powerful enough to defeat us without using that advantage. Should he gain access to both, defeat is certain. For the second, this is a foe that requires more then one hero to defeat." The dragon spoke, hoping to keep Garrett from going over the edge...

[Talon]

Garrett slowly glanced back at Solranous, then suddenly roared,

"MY ENTIRE FAMILY IS DEAD, AS WELL AS THE BULK OF MY FRIENDS! I HAVE NO F*CKING PLACE TO CALL HOME, AND THERE'S SOME BIO-BOOSTED SUPER ALIEN OUT THERE THAT WANTS MY HEAD! AND YOU'RE SPOUTING OFF SOME BULLSH*T ABOUT BEING CALM?! HOW THE F*CK CAN I NOT BE ANGRY AT A TIME LIKE THIS?!"

Bursts of air emanated from his vents as his shoulders heaved while trying to regain his wit. He took a few steps away from Solranous, then uttered a single biting statement:

"Next time you want to give someone advice, make sure it's useful... otherwise, keep your scaly trap SHUT. You waste enough air for ten people..."

With that, he activated his gravity-control medal and hovered into the air, soon dissapearing from sight.

Solranous wasn't offened by the statement, rather, it just washed over him like water would roll off a duck's back. The Guyver was angered, so he didn't take his harsh statement seriously. Solranous sighed, placing a hand on his temple and massaging it, trying to ward away an upcoming headache from thinking of all the various possiblities that could occur from this that his mind could grasp.

"It seems that he, like Shive, will have to learn the meaning behind my words the hard way... then to listen to me and at least try to calm himself..." He said to no one but himself.

The dragon muttered something about "thick-skulled morons" and vanished as well
