As Shive and the two Myrr's neared the mountains, a plume of smoke was visible emitting from the sandstone cliffs. Shive cocked an eyebrow, and was about to ask Xeno something before the green 'blob' in his hand suddenly squealed, jerking out of his grip and towards the smoke, causing Shive to blink, then shout,
"Err... follow the squishy!"
The thing stopped near the wreckage of what appeared to be a large ship, roughly 50 feet from back to front. Holes had been blown in the sides and the roof, and flames covered nearly every other foot of the ship. The green thing seemed to 'look' around as it turned from side to side, then squeaked. Shive landed about ten feet behind the jellyfish-thing, scratching his head.

'I wonder... maybe this 'Elena' the entity in this bracer is looking for is in that ship... I hope she didn't die...' Xeno-Myrr thought as she looked as the ship, actually edging closer to the burning ship.
Myrr, as she noticed this, shrieked, "XENO! WHAT THE HELL HAS GOTTEN INTO THAT THICK SKULL OF YOURS!?"
Xeno-Myrr ignored here, coming as close to the burning ship as she dared with out any prior knowledge.

Sh-she's nearby... I can sense her life-force ebbing away slowly... please, we must save her! The voice in the bracer informed Xeno.
Shive blinked in surprise as the green thing floated forward, squeaking to Xeno, as if trying to lead her somewhere. Shive scratched his head, then muttered,
"Might as well put out the fire..."
Taking to the air, he raised an arm diagonally as extremely cold air began filtering into his clenched fist. He then swept the hand forward, sending several 1-foot long, diamond-shaped shards of ice into the ship, exploding into bursts of ice upon impact. Shive did this several times until there were merely minor fires left, and he landed, panting. He was about to ask something, when a large shape dove out of the sky, landing in front of Xeno-Myrr.
It stood a good 15-20 feet tall, and had a vaguely draconic shape as it lashed a bladed tail not unlike a Xenomorph's. Two bat-like wings stretched out behind it, and a pteradactyl-like head with a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth sat upon a thin, bony neck. The creature's red-gray skin shone in the nearby fires as it hissed,
"Who are you?! What do you want?! Get away from my ship!"
Xeno could hear the entity in the bracer growling violently.

Xeno-Myrr steeled her eye in a glare as she looked up into the eyes of the strange being. Judging from the entity's reaction, this was not Elena.
"I'm Xeno-Myrr, I'm looking for Elena, and no, I'm not moving away from your ship because she's inside."
"XENO!" Myrr cried out, charging up to the hybrid, placing her hand on her dark half's shoulder to pull her away, but Xeno-Myrr just shrugged her off and pushed her away, enough to make her lose her balance for a few seconds, but not enough to send her on to the ground.
'What the fuck has gotten into you!?'

The saurian creature's eyes widened, and it hissed,
"Elena? How do you know about the b-"
It paused, seeing the bracer in Xeno's grip and the small green creature floating nearby. It paused, eyes narrowing, and its tail swayed angrily.
"Oh. The shadow told you. I wouldn't trust him, if I were you." The beast growled.
Before either could blink, the draconic entity's bladed tail sang through the air towards Xeno, flames beginning to fill the beast's maw.
"But if you wanna die, then that's your problem!" The creature barked.
"Not good..." Shive muttered.

Xeno-Myrr jumped and back flipped, using the claws on her hand to stand on the tail blade as it stopped in the area she just vacated. The hybrid then vaulted off before the flames hit, and landed her feet on the creature's shoulders, placing her claws on its neck where she assumed its jugular vein was.
"Look, I'm a bit pressed for time, so are you gonna let me through, or am I gonna have to behead you?" Xeno-Myrr sneer, pressing her claws harder against the creatures neck to prove her point.
Myrr's jaw gaped in shock, Xeno had never been able to do THAT before!

The beast let out a short laugh as his skin turned a grayer color, neon-blue light seeping out of his maw and the kinks in his armored hide.
"I wouldn't reccomend that, if I were you. First of all, Xeno-thing, your claws won't get through my hide. Second of all, ever hear of Phazon?"
Blue mist started seeping out of the beast, burning Xeno's hide whenever it touched, giving the burnt areas a bluish tinge as it did so.
"I'd get off in the next few seconds, lest you be inflicted with the same condition as I..." He growled.
His neck bent at an odd angle, only to become apparent it had a joint about halfway down. His maw opened as a blue light formed in the back of his maw, then seared out and knocked Xeno into the side of the ship, covered in blue, fiery mist.
"It's a horrid compound, really. Can't get rid of it. Sure, it gives you multiple boosts physically, but it starts to deteriorate you mentally... not to mention what happens when too much of it builds at a time..." The winged saurian stated.

"KYSAAAAAAAAAAH!" Xenno-Myrr screeched, jumping off and flapping her wings to stay air borne, as she looked over the blueish tinted burns.
"WHAT THE F***!?" the hybrid screeched again, and looked at the strange saurian.
'What the F*** is Phazon? And why the hell did it burn so badly!?'
Myrr quickly backed away, afraid of the possiblity of this 'Phazon' being able to be transferred over a short radius from the victim of the substance.
"Alright, talk, just what the Hell is Phazon!?" Myrr shouted in minor panic, glancing at Xeno-Myrr and her condition, before glancing back at the strange saurian who appeared to be a carrier of the substance. Xeno-Myrr glared at the saurian, having thought of asking the same question herself.

The figure blinked, scratching his head with a claw. "Didn't I ju- oh, never mind. Guess I'll explain... Phazon is a radioactive substance with powerful mutagenic and energy-producing qualities. Many life forms exposed to Phazon radiation expire within seconds. However, some life forms can survive the Phazon exposure, although the price to be paid is horrible mutation of the body and mind. Subjects exposed to Phazon over long periods of time may develop a form of mental breakdown known as Phazon Madness or Phazon Sickness. This condition affects the mind, driving the subject to the point of mental instability and a constant hunger for more Phazon. Life forms that survive Phazon exposure usually gain increased muscle mass and newfound energy-based abilities, but suffer a decline in cognitive thought and general lifespan. However, there are ways to 'help' an infected subject, such as implanting a Phazon Enhancement Device into them, which regulates the flow of energy into a nonlethal boost every now-and-then." The beast's tail swayed, and he suddenly gritted his teeth. " I, however, have yet to receive on of these devices, as I was infected within the last week and have yet to get back to my headquarters to have the device installed... and it's maddening. I'm craving this sh*t more and more, and I damn-well know if I just keep getting more, I'll be plunged further into my corruption. I can't do a goddamn thing about it, either! Some f*cking device shot my ship down while in hyperspace! I was going at the speed of light through this dingy galaxy, and I was shot down! How is this possible?! GRAAAA!!! I'll just have to vent on you two!" He roared, his coloration deepening even more. His skin was now a deep, gray-blue color, and his wing-fiber was a glowing orange. His eyes went completely white as he threw his head back and let out an ear-splitting scream before lashing his tail forward, the blade-tipped end having cut clean through the ship's exterior. 'Whoops, missed that...' Myrr thought as she jumped away from the saurain's attack, really desiring not to get into physical contact. She reeled her wings back, charging for about seven seconds, before unleashing her Wind Bullets signature attack. The beast howled as the attack damaged his hide, but the effect was reduced compared to what it would have done against her normal opponents.
Xeno-Myrr used her un-infected claws to cut three gashes in her own arm, allowing the acid 'blood' to pool in her hand, which she then flung at the Phazon-mutated beast's face.

The beast snarled in pain as the acid charred away at his face, then retaliated by firing off a beam of fiery-blue energy assumed to be an ability granted to him by the Phazon. The beam literally burned through the air before knicking Xeno-Myrr's right shoulder, carving out a semi-circular gash. The dragon snarled, taking to the air as he began firing off more shots at the two half-dragons. He paused, then asked,
"Wasn't there a third-"
He was cut off when a boulder smashed into his back, forcing him to land roughly as he tried regaining his senses. Shive brushed his claws off, then began preparing another spell. unfortunately, the space-beast fired off another energy beam, slamming square into Shive and sending him flying into the nearby trees, groaning.
"Owww..." He muttered.
The beast turned back to Xeno, then glanced at the bracer. His eyes narrowed, then he roared as he swept his tail at her,
"GIVE ME THAT!!!"

Xeno-Myrr nimbly ducked away from the tail, retorting, "Why should I? you're attacking us!"
Myrr, after successfully dodging some of the attacks, gaped at just what Ridley's energy attack resembled, "That blast is like Solranous' Star Burst Flare!"
Xeno-Myrr gave her light half a strange look and replied, "Is that really important right now!?" but got no response. The hybrid just grumbled, and pooled more acid in her hand, slinging it at Ridley's face again, trying to score another hit on the current wound.
Myrr readied her blaster, and also shot at the facial wound the space beast now sported.

Ridley screeched in pain as the wound burst open, spraying a blue-green blood into the air.
"Phaaze demands corruption!" He roared, voice agining a hollow tint to it.
He hissed, lashing his tail forward and carving a gash in the ground in an attempt to strike Xeno. Missing, he repeatedly stabbed at her with the blade while firing off energy beams at Myrr simultaneously. Meanwhile, the small green blob had grabbed the bracer from Xeno, floating into the ship as it squeaked and hissed, undulating with each propulsion. Either Ridley didn't care, or didn't notice the blob as he snarled, managing to grab Xeno and slam her into the ground.
"I hope you know someone good with tech... you're well on your way to being fully infected..." Ridley hissed.
His blade whizzed through the air again, only to fall with a 'thud' as Shive latched onto it, a hole punched in his chestplate. Ridley snarle,d not being able to use his tail as Shive anchored himself to the ground, refusing to budge. Ridley snarle,d charging up another energy beam...

Xeno-Myrr cringed. It wasn't herself she was worried about, but Myrr, because she was worried that if she returned to being Myrr's shadow in this state, that the Phazon infection would transfer over to her... and in turn, if he got too close, Shive.
'Please don't be as bad as I originally thought...' Xeno-Myrr pleaded mentally, then snarled at Ridley. Seeing as it was her only effective means of attack, Xeno-Myrr once more pooled acid and flung it out the now open wound on Ridley's face.
Myrr had tried her best to dodge Ridley's attack, but failed some what, and she too was now afflicted with the Phazon properties the beam held.
"Sh*t..." Myrr cursed, but still stood up again and reeled her wings back, focusing on Ridley's head again, and unleashing her Wind Bullets once again, then following it up with several blaster rounds.

Ridley hissed in agony, lashing his tail so violently that Shive was taken with it, sending him flying through the trees. Ridley thrashed about in agony as blood freely poured from multiple wounds in his head, one such wound being in his eye. He clutched at his face, turning his attention on Myrr as his eyes filled with bloodlust and rage. He then snarled,
"You'l die for that, b*tch..."
He was about to fire another energy beam when he paused, hearing something from the ship. He thought it was someone muttering, but not hearing it again, he shrugged. He turned back to Myrr, only to receive a lightning bolt to the face, sending more flesh flying into the air and making Ridley even angrier. He let loose a bellowing roar as he smacked Shive to the side, then snarled back at Xeno-Myrr, his vision becoming blurry.
"Kill... you... all..." He snarled.
He went to charge another energy beam, only to yelp in pain as the green blob from before stabbed its legs into the side of Ridley's neck, pulsating as it did so. Blue 'mist' was seen filling the blob's interior, and its red organs flashed a teal-ish color, yet it still clung to the space dragon. Ridley hissed and screeched, thrashing about once more as the blob began slowly expanding in size.
