((Monthly Campaign sub-thread))
The bots all stomped through the city, the various armored vehicles rolling along unhindered. People screamed and fled as the machines neared, yet made no threatening actions whatsoever. That was, until, they reached the center of the city. Their numbers began to seperate and intentionally go after every living thing in sight, mowing them down with bullets, lasers, even explosive weapons aand their own appendages!
Buildings crumbled and corpses began to litter the streets as the machine army took no prisoners, killing all without remorse. Dark cloud sbegan to cover the sky as Veritech fighters and wyvern-like mecha flew in, bombarding the buildings with pin-point accuracy, not a single attack hitting their allies. Among the carnage, a single mech stood on an emptied skyscraper, his teal eye surveying the carnage. Cerberus sighed, crossing his arms as a buidling next to him imploded, and the mech thought,
Is this really the right thing to do, O'Malley? Yes, I know the humans have caused you pain before. I know your old 'friends' have damaged your emotional integrity. But damnit, genocide isn't the answer!

A dark being falls from the sky and lands behind Cerberus. He slowly rises and the being's wings drap over its body, creating a cape. The demon's eyes oozed darkness, its body a true form of nightmares. Smoke pours out of its grill like mouth, its claws twitch.
This being's name was one that was heard just months ago. Devil Kaiser.
Devil Kaiser glances around, seeing chaos and destruction in the city. Humans were being slaughtered in seconds by Veritechs and mechs.
The devil machine turns back to Cerberus. "I see O'Mally's been busy after my arrival." He hisses, "He'd quite the machine I must say. Creating this army of mindless machines under his command. Blindlessly letting these new feelings push him this far. He's as stupid as I thought."
Devil Kaiser could see Cerberus tencing up, ready to fire an all out assault against him. "Don't worry, I'm not here to destroy you..." The demon growls, "I merely (sp?) want to spectate. Though...if I see fit, I will step in..."

(OOC: Why do I get the feeling this will have consequences on myself?)
Neon blue flares started raining from the sky, damaging larger machines and untterly destroying smaller ones. Jets were shot down, and a tank or two succumbed to sustained barrages before the assaulter revealed himself.
Solranous descended, having launched after Cerberus. The dragon snarled to himself.
'damn it O'Malley... I thought... I thought you would never go to such lengths. I thought you no longer wanted to destroy organic life...
I see I was wrong...'
The dragon created a small impact crater on his landing, instantly transforming to his Bankai state and carving away at various mechs, and damaging tanks with flowers of flame, though each was extremely resilient.
Solranous fired three Star Burst Flares, wiping out more mech forces... but the tide seemed unending, their were so many...
"I know I'll need help... I hope my required assitance comes soon..."

((What'cha mean?))
Cerberus watched Solranous dive into the crowd, and he made a sound similar to a sigh.
"They're not mindless... they all have AI's and free will..." He muttered in response to Devil Kaiser.
His fists clenched, sparking at the joints from the sheer pressure.
"Yet they all follow him blindly... for a false vision they don't even need..." He growled lowly.
He observed the emerald dragon more numbers as he altered into his Bankai, and Cerberus grunted something.
"I'm not going to stand for this. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE!" He roared.
The mech jumped off the edge and slid down the side of the building, drawing his Radical Railgun and Coating Sword. He landed next to Solranous and began firing off slugs, taking out more numbers before he rushed in, hacking away madly at his fellow machines.
* * * * * * *
O'Malley, now back in his monitor room after his speech, watched the assault with distaste.
"Soo... even Cerberus has defied me? What a shame. I suppose he'll just have to be dealt with, like the green one." He stated.

(OOC: Solranous and Devil Kaiser are probably gonna clash)
Solranous glanced to Cereberus, and nodded in thanks, before turning to an on-coming tank.
"Star Burst Flare!" he called, firing an enhanced version of his beam weapon and shredding the tank, which happened to be one that was weakened by a fire flower. Solranous bellowed his challenge, before charging into the mech's numbers, carving enemies down with lightning precision.
"Spirit Rocket!" he called, shooting down a jet that was preparing to target him, and then bathing a squadron of soldiers in his reiatsu-enhanced flame breath.
--------------------------------
Back in the abandonned district, Hollow Cynder's 'eye's' widened when Cynder glanced to Kisara
'No... f***ing... way...' the Hollow gasped, seeing that the originally almost unnoticable outline grew a bit with Solranous releasing into Bankai.

Cerberus roared as he slammed his fist into a tank, causing it to explode. He glanced skyward, and yelled,
"OH SH-"
An explosion enveloped the mech and a 50-foot radius around him. The smoke cleared, and Cerberus was heavily damaged, making a 'choking' sound. He glanced over at Solranous, then rushed over towards the dragon, firing off more slugs. He stopped next to the dragon, sparked, then muttered,
"Alright, I have an idea of what you need to do: You know O'Malley's base is in the desert, yes? Good. O'Malley's holed up in the middle of his base. You can get to him with some help from Spite, wherever he is right now. I suggest you find him soon, because after this little 'raid' on the city, O'Malley's gonna basically nuke Nightshade's remains."
The mech took to the air as the cannon on his back flipped over, his head sliding into his chest as the cannon activated.
"TERMINUS... CANNOOOON!!!" He roared.
The weapon then discharged a massive, Mega Smasher-strength blast, wiping out the entire street and everything in it. The cannon folded back down, and Cerberus sparked again before wading into the fight again.
I won't make it out of this fight... but, as long as O'Malley is stoped... that's fine.

"But what about you?" Solranous asked, noticing his damage as he fired the Terminus Cannon. "With that kind of damage, you'll never survive!"
The look on Cerberus' face, as much as he could make a face, told Solranous that the machine had already considered this outcome.
"Very well... but before I leave..."
Solranous aimed his palm at Cerberus and focused. The machine's body was rapidly repaired until it was at 95%. Cerberus then noticed his energy reserves nearly doubled up above their maximum. Cerberus glanced at Solranous, who looked somewhat tired now.
"May Fate be on your side Cerberus... I bid thee good luck."
The dragon then launched into the sky, quickly dissappearing from sight.

Cerberus nodded to the dragon in response, muttering
"You as well, emerald wyrm. You'll need as much of it as you can get."
He turned back to the incoming horde, and threw his arms out to the sides and bellowed,
"C'MON, YA PATHETIC PIECES OF SCRAP! BRING IT!!!!"
His Machinegun Pods detached from his shoulders, and began unloading on the crowd as he went airborne, launching off rail slugs until he ran out. He tossed the useless Railgun to the ground, then pulled out the Coating Sword and rushed back into the fight as light began to shine through his joints.
"Terminus Core output reaching critical." He muttered.
He tackled a Geno Saurer and shoved the blade through its head, but was blasted out of the air by a few mortars, and his eye flashed.
"Critical reached. Core breach iminent." He stated with a smirk in his voice.
A flash of light issued from his frame, and he looked into the heavens as he muttered,
"Show him the light, Solranous. Help him recover, Great. Forgive him, Spite."
Downtown was the immersed in an explosion comparable to a small atom bomb, wiping out a large chunk of O'Malley's forces.
