The towering green entity was smashing through the trees, heading for a specific location. He 'grinned', for he had a definite lock onto his target this time. This time, he couldn't run.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are..." He hissed mockingly.
He ripped a tree out of the ground, and it suddenly changed into a long-sized spear. He hurled it through the trees, hoping to hit something living. He grunted a laugh as he continued onward. Meanwhile, back at the 'campsite', Mortis's claws were almost completely submerged into the groud, his eyes small with fright.
"He's coming..." The wyrmling muttered.

Cynder grunted as she saw Mortis' condition.
'I hate having to rely on you, but you ARE the only one really capable of fighting here...'
'Just remember, I have the body for a week if I'm going to protect that little runt, despite how it disgusts me so.'
'YOU just remember that you get nothing if Draethik has his way.'
'Fine, Fine...'
And then the transformation happened as the Hollow took over, turning Cynder once more into her adult form, wearing half the mask.
"I may be a Hollow, but believe it or not, I'm not trying to kill ya..." Hollow Cynder hissed as her legs tensed.
Kisara was left opening and closing her jaw like a fish, for she wanted to say something, but had nothing to say.

Draethik took his sweet time as he casually strode into view, striking an unnatural fear into all who saw him... especially Mortis. The fiend pretended to not see them, then stopped, glancing in their direction.
"Oh hi! I didn't see ya there! How ya doin'?" He said in a sickeningly cheery voice.
He glanced at Mortis, who was white as a sheet. He smirked, then his eyes drifted over to Hollow Cynder. He threw his arms in the air and started laughing hysterically, then doubled over as the laughing rose in intensity. After a few minutes of it, he stood up and brushed at his tear-incabale eyes, then paused.
"Oh, you're serious. Hmph." He muttered.
He shrugged, then crouched down to look at Mortis.
"Ready to go? I think you've had enough time to say goodbye now."

The Hollow then bashed Draethik out of the way, forcing him on his back and snarling as a Cero was charging, something she had been secretly doing when Draethik decided that her fighting him was funny. The blast launched from her maw, tearing off half of Draethik's face, before she sank her Cero energy-coated fangs into his neck, heaving him up and throwing him away...
Into a circle of eight Gillian that had just recently appeared.
"Attack," the Hollow commanded, and the Gillian powered up and launched their Ceros at Draethik...
Kisara, meanwhile, had fainted from what had just happened, held up by Onyste, who looked on in just as much shock.

The Ceros stopped abruptly, then one of the Gillian 'shattered', his remains flowing towards Draethik and repairing his wounds. Draethik picked at his teeth, then glanced at his claws as he muttered,
"Ceros, eh? Hmm. Have you asked that Arrancar Evihs if he'll teach you the King's Grand Cero yet?"
He glanced up, remembering the Ceros were still there. He swept his hand to the side, and all eight Ceros changed course, slamming into and around Hollow Cynder. He glanced up at the remaining 7 Gillian, and slapped his hands together. The Hollows did the same, but... not as cleanly. Blood showered over the area as the Gillian were mashed into a horrific ball of undead matter, then disintergrated.
"Got anything else? Or will I have to look at you this time? If not, I'll be taking Mortis and going" He asked.
Not getting a response, he shrugged, and began walking towards the azure wyrmling. Mortis slid back a few steps, then paused, glancing at the gem on Draethik's forehead. His eyes narrowed, and he suddenly barked,
"Cynder! That thing on his forehead! Destroy it!"
Draethik snarled, glancing at his brow, then rushed at the dragon...

Thanatos (who had miraculously appeared by plot device) clotheslined Draethik and then kicked him away before turning to face Cynder and Mortis.
"How is it that someone always manages to know the bad guy's weakness somehow? Or is it just so obvious that someone just points it out to make sure everyone gets it?" Thanatos asked, making a joke to lighten the mood. Then he noticed Cynder. "Oh, hi Cynder. Long time no see. How's that Hollow side coming? And who are you (ooc: referring to Mortis)?"
Then he looked over at Draethik. "Didn't I kill you before...well, sort of anyways?" Then he paused. "You're not going to make me go all Teracyn on your ass, are you?"

Draethik snarled at the cybrog, recalling him from before.
"Bah! I'm just as powerful as that freakish super-cyborg form of yours was! But I'm not here for you." He growled.
He delivered a powerful kick to Thanatos's midsection, then stomped the cyborg into the ground before he could land. Draethik hissed, then turned back to Mortis. He bolted above the wyrmling, then grabbed him around the midsection, taking into the air.
"Never again will I be so stupid as to grant someone a favor." He muttered, glaring at Mortis.
The wyrmling scowled, then bit into Draethik's arm, failing to penetrate the chitin. Draethik laughed, then exerted more pressure on the dragon, making Mortis cry out in pain. The wyrmling's eye flashed, and he let out a low growl that made Draethik pause.
"Oh please, what're you gonna do?" He asked.
Mortis responded by blasting Draethik in the face with his breath weapon, freezing the fiend's face, and, more importantly, the gem on his forehead. Draethik howled in rage and anger as Mortis fire doff several bolts of cosmic force from his outstretched claw, each slamming into the fiend's face and shattering the forehead-gem.
"YOU LITTLE SH*!T I'LL BE SURE TO PRY EVERY LAST OUNCE OF SUFFERING FROM YOU!" He roared.
He exerted more pressure, causing an audible cracking sound, and Mortis shuddered before going limp. Draethik nodded, then 'swallowed' the wyrmling whole. Draethik grumbled as he ripped open a whole into the air itself, then muttered as he stepped through,
"Lucky I need him alive... for now, anyway."
At that moment, Shive burst through the trees, only to see Mortis missing and Draethik gone. His hands went limp, and he bit his lip as he stared up at the sky in despair.
"Sh*t.... I lost him..." He muttered.
He said something about Pandemonium, didn't he? I gotta find GaiGar, maybe he can help! He thought.
He paused, did a double take, then grabbed Thanatos by the arm and helped him to his feet.
"Eh... long-time-no-see, eh?" He asked.
He glanced at Cynder, Kisara, and Onyste, then shrugged, knowing they could handle themselves. He spread his wings and rocketed into the air, lips moving silently as he muttered to himself.

Thanatos grunted as he was lifted to his feet. "Hey Shive."
"I hate that guy." Then he looked around at everyone else and shook his head. "We're gonna need some serious help on this one. I'm gonna find Aphostos."
Then as he was leaving, he added. "By the way, Shive, I still don't like you. Nothing personal."

Hollow Cynder scowled, then, surprisingly banged her fist on the ground in frustration.
"damn it... I let him get away... And that means I can't hold this above Cynder's head to get some time in control besides this...
..."
'So why am I not mad over that?'
'...Mortis... No...'
The Hollow sighed, not hearing what anyone said. And snarled at herself when the thought of rescueing the blue wyrmling came to mind.
'You do realize I blame you for my soft heartedness, if you can think I even have a heart. Which I don't by the way.'
'You've said it a thousand times already, I got after the first three times.' Cynder retorted, 'glaring' at the Hollow.
The Hollow said nothing about it and let the little wyrmling take over, before the transformation was reversed. Cynder shed a tear at the faliure.
And it was that moment that Solranous arrived as well, and no one needed to tell him what was going on, he could see it just fine.
"Oh no..." the dragon grimaced, before shaking his head, fervently denying that it happened for almost have an hour before Kisara, who had woken up again in the dragon's triade, managed to soothe his anger.
"I... I promised I'd... keep him safe..." Soltanous sobbed, his fists clenching. "But now this happens... and I don't know if I'm able to call myself a hero in good consciousness... It seems every time I make success, a greater failure happens..."
The emerald wyrm glanced into the sky. "But I swear... if there's a way to pursue Draethik and rescue Mortis, I'll find it and I'll crush that demon once and for all..." he clenched and shook his fist as he said this, growling.
This time, he would be the one to kill Draethik. And this time, he'd make sure there was nothing left like what Yog-Sothoth left behind. That... or he would either die trying or at the very least be a reason for the demon's death.
(I do believe now would be the best place to put [End Thread] no?)
