Shive lay in the center of a group of busted trees, his right chest-plate ripped off with five holes punched into his chest and bleeding. The dragonkin himself, however, had his eyes wide open in shock and was breathing very very quietly. His face was deathly pale, and his claws were stabbing into the ground.
"H-h-how c-could he b-be back? I-I sold m-my damn s-soul to k-kill him!" He gasped silently.
He moaned as he rolled onto his side slowly, curling into a fetal position somewhat, shaking violently.

Solranous landed hard nearby, and ran the rest of the way, spotting the dragonkin.
"Shive!" the dragon called, but was seemingly unheard by Shive. No matter, the dragon still slided into a kneeling position next to him, checking of over his injuries.
'Nothing I can't heal mostly...' the dragon mused, focusing. Shive's wounds began to close. The dragon sighed to himself after the wounds became nothing more then scrapes on Shive's body.
"Shive, what happened? Do you know what you attacker looked like?" Solranous asked. He already knew the first one, thanks to Bahamut, but he still asked so that he didn't give off suspicion that he had inside information, who knows what the dragonkin may have thought if he felt Solranous knew about the attack ahead of time.

Shive was still wide-eyed, gasping for breath.
"I-it was... D-Daedalus..." He managed to whisper.
Shive foamed at the corner of the mouth, and he turned that blank stare of fear at Solranous.
"H-how'd he do it? How'd he c-come back?! I killed him!" He asked hyperventilating a bit again.

Solranous placed a calming feeling into Shive's mind, bringing him 'back down to earth' before something bad happened.
"I fear this may be something worse then Daedalus. Tell me, did his arm make some sort of pulse? Like after he stabbed you?"
He had to confirm if this really was who he thought it was, he may not have had Daedalus' genetics, but that didn't mean Khimera couldn't use his telepathy to fool Shive into believing it was Daedalus, it was a trick he would have employed himself, had he been in Khimera's position and mindset.

Shive tried to respond, but a voice announced,
"Ah... combining telepathy with telekinesis is sooo much fun to use when screwing with someone's mind!"
Standing on a nearby tree was Khimera, who's left arm was currently muscular and covered in brown scales. He nodded at Solranous, then muttered to himself,
"Lemme see... who we got left? ... one of the two Arrancar, Xeno-Myrr, maybe one of those kaiju, and..."
He paused, then broke out into a disturbing grin. He started laughing maniacally as he threw his arms to the side.
"A GUYVER?! THERE'S A GUYVER HERE?!" He asked the heavens with a grin so sadistic it would've made Zaraki proud.
Khimera seemed to calm down, then shook his head, laughing.
"Eh... I'll save the best for last." He muttered.
He glanced back at Solranous, then barked,
"Dumbass there should be over it soon!"
The Scourge doppleganger then dissapeared, using Solranous's Flash Step. Shive's eyes returned to normal, and he sat there, blinking as his hands softly clenched and unclenched.
"What... just happened?"

"damn it." Solranous growled. He then looked at Shive.
"If you haven't put two and two together, that was not Daedalus who attacked you, but that super beast that just left. Come on, we need to regroup so we can figure out a plan to beat that freak." the dragon urged, offering a hand to help Shive back to his feet if need be.

Shive grabbed the hand and eased himself onto his feet, scowling at the spot where Khimera last stood.
"Yeah... okay." He muttered.
Shive paused, then slowly turned his head towards Solranous, eyes outlined in white. He stared at Solranous for a few moments, then grunted in pain and turned the ability off.
"Urgh... Bahamut came for a visit, didn't he?" He muttered.

Solranous paused, and answered,
"Yes, he did, which is another reason for my haste. No time for questions."
The dragon then grabbed Shive's wrist and Flash Stepped.
