Shive landed on the beach. ripping his armor off. He then paused, thinking,
Wait... it's winter. That water will be cold as hell...
He stared at the water, then a smirk crossed his face. He snapped everything of except for a bracer, standing in his trunks.
"Okay, as long as I have one piece, the cold won't affect me. I can see in the dark, sooo..."
He dove into the water, coming back up every minute for twenty minutes straight. Dirt was kicked up into the water, and after the twenty minutes were up, there was a mud wall covering a radius up to 40 feet out into the lake from shore, about 3 inches above the water's surface. He smirked, then bounded into the air, launching off all three fireballs into the water, hissing and sending water flying. As the steam cleared, the water was slightly bubling, and Shive smirked.
"Okay, if I'm counting right (which I doubt), that water should be warm for about an hour! So we swim now!" He yelled to Myrr, wherever she was.
He landed and threw his bracer into the pile, then flinched. He ran into the water, screaming,
"AIR COLD!"
He barreled into the water, coming back up with a smirk. The water was close to the temp of a warm shower's.
"Ohh... didn't expect that to work..." He muttered, floating.

Splash!
The sound came a few feet from Shive, and water splashed over him as Myrr surfaced, spewing a small stream of water out
"Oi, you really find clever uses for your spells, Shive... And, even if you counted wrong, I can heat the water back up with my Fire Pulse." Myrr said, floating in the water.
"You know... No one wanted to race me in the water 'cause of my wings. Pity really, I like to swim a lot. Feels just like flying through the air to me." She commented. The half-dragon took a deep breath, before diving down into the water, using both her legs and tail while folding her wings down as close as possible for a more stream-lined form, she reached the bottom of their little section in a matter of seconds and looked back up to Shive, waving to him before darting this way and that like a giant fish.
Of course, any breath of oxygen is going to run out sometime, and so Myrr's underwater frolicking had to end. Her wings opened up fully, and she flapped them like she would in the air, the only difference being that she folded them before bringing them back up again to flap.
After the thrid flap, the half dragon's head was above the water as she took another breath.
"See what I mean, Shive?" the half dragon asked paddling over to him with her wings.

Shive was impressed, his mouth slightly open. He slowly gave his own wings a look of shame. He shrugged, and folded his arms.
"Yeah, well... my wings may not be built for long-distance, but they're good for a short, maneuverable flight..." He stated, turning his head to the side.
He sighed, seeping into the water until it came to his chin.
"I was never a good swimmer anyway. I grew up in the freaking desert. And it's kinda hard to swim in sand." He muttered.
He was now floating on his back.
"Growing up in such an isolated place... usually makes you harsh as an adult..." He muttered to himself.
Then again... so does seeing your mother get killed before your own eyes... He added, eyes getting downcast.
He glanced at Myrr, and let out a small smirk.
I seem to manage though.
He sighed again, bobbing in the water as his lungs inflated and deflated, affecting his buoyancy.

"Well, at least you don't have to worry about it getting cold in a desert, right? At least, not in the day time." Myrr replied, kissing the dragonkin.
"And... You're not harsh, not to me at least. If I didn't know you, I wouldn't have believed you lived in the desert. Maybe we'll have some peace for now."
The half dragon sighed, tread water, unbeknost that something bad was going to happen.

Shive smiled at Myrr, still floating.
"Heh, thanks. I guess I have my father to thank for keeping me from going... bad." He stated.
He rolled over, now face-down in the water, bubbles frothing out from the sides of his mouth. He rolled back up and coughed, muttering,
"Oh, that reminds me..."
He aimed an index finger at Myrr, then laughed. Her hair had changed from blue to red!
"My dad taught me one of the old spells I forgot! It doesn't do much; I just use it for entertainment purposes. It's called Prestidigitation; it's pretty much just minor tricks, like changing color and such." He stated, grinning.
"And I have an unlimited usage of it per day!" He added gleefully.
He then changed her hair back to blue, smiling.
"Looks better in blue."

On the other side of the lake, a single red eye pierced the darkness. It's single 'pupil' swept from side to side before closing in thought. The blasters on its forearms slid into its wrists, and the weapons on its shoulders clicking onto its back. The single eye then slid back, two 'regular' eyes sliding out in it's place. The eyes were already closed though, as the droid let out a mechanical sigh. He still retained the same 'injuries' that the demon Fuzen had given him; the droid hadn't bothered with even thinking about repairing them since. He didn't find the need to.
If I blow up, then I blow up. It's no loss to anyone. He thought.

Myrr laughed as well when she saw her hair change.
"That's a funny spell you've got there. Though your right, it does look better in blue, I don't really have the personality to be a red-head."
The half dragon laughed again, wondering what else he could change with it.
-------------------------------------------------
'Found you' Hollow Cynder thought. She didn't feel like lunging at them while they are unsuspecting...
Maybe she sould play a little game with them.
She uncovered her reiatsu, leaving it just low enough that the source couldn't be pinpointed, but high enough that the Shinigami dragonkin could tell they weren't alone.

Shive poked his tongue out, snickering. He snapped his finger, and a small flame, like that of a candle, appeared at the tip of his finger. He puffed it out, then opened his palm to reveal a small stone sphere. He crushed it in his hand, and the dust blew away into an unseen wind.
"Like I said, minor tricks. But some of the effects can be permanent; like the color change." He stated.
He sensed a nearby pin-prick of reiatsu, and growled lowly. It wasn't Solranous, but the feel of the reiatsu was familiar.
Hollow. He thought.
He paused, hearing his voice.
* * * * *
O'Malley was staring at the sky, and suddenly dimmed his eye's light as the sound of snapping twigs became apparent. He turned his head slowly to see a large, semi-serpentine shape emerge from the trees and slip into the water, leaving a small wake behind it. He 'blinked', then began to pull up internet searches on a single subject: Loch Ness.

Hollow Cynder smiled, Shive wasn't a complete idiot like she had come to expect. The Hollow dragon picked up a small pebble, threw it up and caught it, before slinging it at Shive, hitting the dragonkin dead in his right eye. The pebble bounced away afterwards, plopping into the water and Myrr suddenly became cautious...
"Who's here?" the half dragon asked, looking around fretfully. Something told her this wasn't good...
The Hollow laughed lowly. Now both of them were alert to her, their bodies tense. She would toy with them for a bit longer before revealing herself.

Shive blinked his right eye, trying to rid himself of the pain. He let out a low growl as his hair seemed to stiffen, the water about him swirling slightly.
Hakaisha! Be ready! He stated to his Zanpoktou.
Got it. She replied lazily.
His Hollow side told him there was one somewhere nearby. He paused, sensing something else. He glanced out into the lake, seeing a wake dissapate. His eyes widened.
"There's... something out in the lake... it's not the Hollow..." He muttered to himself, voice low in an attemp to keep it from Myrr.

The shape in the lake was unaware it had been spotted. It began to dive deeper, before swimming up faster, preparing to surface...

Myrr had missed what Shive was saying, it was obvious that he was successful from keeping it from her sensitive ears.
'Where? Where the hell is it? What is it that's stalking us?' she asked herself.
"KYSAH!" the hollow screeched, having flown up above the two during the lul in movement. Before Myrr could even comprehend where it had come from, Hollow Cynder had already pressed a grainy gray substance to her neck. The object pressed against her eck was like a slab of rock...
And just being near it was starting to make her sick inside. As Shive noticed it, Hollow Cynder growled a warning.
"I wouldn't get too close, this slab of rock happens to be a piece of dragon's bane. Skehe, get too close and you'll start to get sick, just like your precious mate here. You know, its a 'pity' you couldn't help the little wyrmling face her Hollow problems."
Hollow Cynder appeared like Cynder's adult form...
But the tell tale Hollow mask covering the left half of her face made sure that it was known that this was no ordinary encounter.
At the upper jawline, it seemed that a set of three spikes jutted out and pointed downward, and lightning-like red marks seemed to be spread randomly amongst the mask, with the mark at the center of her forhead cut in half because only half of the mask was formed. Also, a blue highlight appeared around the eye hole of the mask that had already formed.
"And even if you would dare to come close, it'll weaken you enough that I can knock you away with ease. Though, you are probably asking yourself, 'Why isn't she effected? She's a dragon in someway, too!' WRONG! Its a bit too complicated for you to understand, I'd have to use too many big words for you to keep up."
The Hollow smirked under the part of the mask that had formed, evident by the other side of her maw.
(OOC: As for the rather plain description of the mask in the stat sheet, at the time I couldn't settle on what to make it look like. I wanted to get her stats up ASAP so I decided, 'it'll have a blank look until I introduce her into the game, formally')

((Kay...))
Shive growled, assesing the situation. He couldn't melee, Hakaisha was too far away, the Hollow was probably too fast to dodge his lightning, and...
He didn't want to use the Vizard mask in front of Myrr...
He was about to act, when he paused, seeing a dozen small lights behind Cynder. They kept getting closer and closer until Shive realized what they were: Missiles.
The explosives plowed into Cynder's back, each exploding violently upon impact. The claw clutching Myrr was suddenly profusely bleeding as an electric-blue, crescent-shaped wave of energy flew away from it. A metal, clawed foot was then shoved into the mask-circled eye, sending blood and gunk spitting out. A Xenomorph-esque tail was shoved into the side of the Hollow's throat as claws gripped into the sides of her muzzle, a cold mechanical voice growling,
"I believe you were interrupting something."
O'Malley's single red eye bore into hers before he stabbed his claw into her ripped-open eye, activating his vibro-claws and stabbing them into her skull. Two large bolts of green energy slammed into her back, each roughly the strength of a bazooka rocket, and a familiar voice yelled,
"Cynder! Fight this disgusting excuse for an undead! We don't want to lose you, nor does Spyro! Don't give up!"
Spite was now floating above as O'Malley ripped the claw out, along with most of Cynder's eye.
"The dragon can fix it." He muttered.
He propelled into the air, now next to Spite. Myrr had been jarred lose from the dragon-Hollow's grip, but where she was wasn't known...
* * * * *
Meanwhile, the shape beneath the water had stopped, watching the events happening above, but still remained far-enough below surface to be unseen.

In the forest, a peaceful deer that was eating grass was startled by Cynders attack. Its ears perked up wards and its eyes became alert. Its legs twitched in anticipation for a fast sprint away from the battle.
But, behind it was another terror. The beast lunges and bites into the unsuspecting deer. The frightened beast squeels in pain and surprise. The demon beast then continuously bites the neck of the pour deer. It then rips the head clear off, blood spouting from the deer's neck and severed head.
The beast then throws the head onto the ground and snars in victory. It then begins to devour the flesh of the once peaceful deer. Mounching and tearing huge chunks of flesh right off the bone.
The beast was red in color. It had a long neck with an insect like mouth. Its eyes were almost demonic and it had a crest on both sides of its head. It had no arms, but many crab like legs. Its take was barbed and sharp.
The demon the looks up from its feast, blood dripping from its fangs. The Hollow Dragon....an oxygen sucking maggot....
The beast then ditches its meal and scurries towards a hiding spot to see the battle. This...will be insteresting......

"My, My, three against one? That isn't very fair.
The Hollow chuckled as multiple roars were heard all around, and Shive instantly recognized what they were...
His own Hollow side had called upon them enough for him to know.
"Of course... I always have back up some where."
Gillians appeared around the lake, enmasse all roaring, waiting for Hollow Cynder's command.
"Attack the dragonkin," she ordered. The Gillians complied swiftly, launching their Ceros at Shive. Hollow Cynder turned to face the two droids, her body unaffected by the pain coursing through it.
"Well then, that just leaves you two for me to deal with. Oh, and those missles hurt, ya know? That's probably why you use them, so I can't really complain and expect a reaction against using them."
'This is some what problematic though... Most of my abilities are centered around targetting Shinigami... Maybe I should have had the Gillian target the mechs. Oh well, I'll manage.'
"Flame Fury!"
The Hollow dragon's remaining eye flashed as a wave of fire pulsed at Spite and O'Malley, enveloping them. The Cero aspects of the fire didn't effect them, but the flames themselves served to weaken their armor a bit, and would most likely set off any missiles O'Malley had left.
Following up, Hollow Cynder charged at O'Malley, managing to land a six hit Tooth and Claw combo on the droid, before batting him up with her tail to give her time to target Spite. The Hollow lunged, using her fangs to attack. One of the mecha dragon's eyes registered the fangs piercing into it, before Cynder pulled back, digging her fangs through his head in the hopes of severing something vital. The Hollow spat out the metal she managed to rend from Spite, before she pushed back, giving him another taste of her Flame Fury.

As the Flame Fury rushed forward, the diamond-shape at the end of Spite's tail opened, producing an 8-foot diameter, hexagonal shield of energy that blocked the flames completely. The shield dissapated as the diamond closed, and Spite smirked mentally, despite the fact his eye was sparking. He backed up as ports opened up on his body, legs, and wings opened, followed by a massive amount of mini-missiles, all swarming to Cynder's location. JUst before they impacted, Spite stated,
"Yeah. That's pretty much why we use 'em."
The Hollow-dragon was then enveloped in an explosion of fire and shrapnel, and Spite's maw opened, revealing an orange, crackling energy. Twin bolts of crackling orange energy shot out, intertwining, into the smoke and ripping a hole through Cynder's left wing before strafing across her front.
"Well, the missiles, shield, and masers work. As do the Plasma Cannons." Spite stated.
The mecha-dragon turned to O'Malley and asked,
"She's too low of a problem to break out our surprise on, isn't she?"
O'Malley nodded.
"Right. We're just weakening her enough so her child form can break the Hollow's control. We don't wanna vaporize her."
He then fired off a bolt from his Arc Cannon square into the Hollow's empty eye-socket.
* * * * *
Shive growled at the Gillian as he stood up shakily, smoking from the Cero's. He was damaged badly after getting hit by so many strong projectiles at once.
"Can't get to Hakaisha... I left her at the damn warehouse... but..." He muttered.
He sighed, frustrated.
"I guess there's no helping it, then..."
He held his clawed hand before his face, white particles of something flowing into his hand and forming something. The dragonkin's reiatsu flared into life, making the water below him swirl and churn violently as the reiatsu darkened. In Shive's hand was now... the Vizard mask.
He placed it on his face, and the burst of reiatsu that followed was so powerful it caused the Gillian to sway on their 'feet'. Shive's mane had turned a metallic purple-red, and his pupils dialated, like last time. He roared to the Gillian in a Hollow-esque tone, before growling,
"The good thing about defeating one's inner Hollow... is the fact you can exploit the b*stard's leftover energy for your own use."
The Gillian closest to him suddenly collapsed in a spray of blood, followed by the one next to it, who had it's face ripped off. Shive appeared before the remaining ones, clenching his fists and roaring into the sky.
"WHO'S NEXT?!" He screamed.
* * * * *
The shape dragged Myrr onto the beach, getting sick from the dragon's bane still on her neck. It then carefully outstretched a claw, removing the rock from her neck, then hurling it off into the distance as the rock shattered under some unseen pressure. The semi-serpentine shape shuddered, then passed out a few feet away from Myrr, it's sides heaving.
It was Artecaex.

"It doesn't matter how much you weaken me, there is no chance of me staying away forever. You see, it's a very simple matter to control a host who has fallen asleep. Sleep means to be at peace. To be at peace means to have weakened defenses...
And to have weakened defenses makes the host a prime target for possession. She didn't even have the chance to put up a fight. Even if she straves herself of sleep if she breaks free, all I need to do is wait. Her exhaustion will eventually overcome her, and I'll be free to wreck havoc again and again! Only Cynder herself can put me to an end to me! And as lng as I'm in control, that will never happen!
Now, youmave be insulated against water normally... but what about now?"
Before either droid could process the last sentence Hollow Cynder spoke, the Hollow-dragon dove and began shoving under Spite, to disrupt his balance. Unexpecting such a move, the mecha-dragon had no time to respond and was hauled into the air by Cynder.
The black dragon dove again, clawing at Spite's armor to open it up as much as possible before she threw him under the surface of the lake. Landing back on the shore, Cynder smirked at O'Malley.
"If my understanding of robotics is correct, your friend is probably fried by now."
Cynder then looked over to the Gillian who seemed to be in total chaos from Shive's sudden surge of power, unsure if to attack because Cynder ordered it, or to back off because Shive had the mask. The Adjuchas quickly cleared things up.
"Don't stop just because of that mask! He is no Hollow, only using the power of one of our brethern. Keep firing!"
The Gillian replied by renewing their attack, one of them bending down to swat at Shive while others fired their Ceros.
The Hollow dragon glanced back to O'Malley, and charged with the intent of slashing the droid to pieces.
