"Th-That wasn't s-suppose t-to ha-happen!" Myrr cried as she kept running, having a bad feeling that Shive had just commited sucide to block the Xenomorphs.
"If he is dead, which I highly doubt, then he died for a greater cause, lessening the opposition between us and the Queen or whatever it is. That means we will have more strength for the fight. But again, I highly doubt he's dead, his determination seems to keep him going no matter what tries to kill him." Solranous spoke, trying to reassure his daughter.
"I hope your right, like you mostly been." she responded, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Besides, Shive wouldn't want us to give up."
'And neither would I want to see you give up' a voice similar to Solranous' came to her mind, and her mind alone, though it was clearly aged. She shook her head, blaming it partially on her imagination as they continued through the corridor.

O'Malley sped forward at the head of the line, slicing anything that got in his way.
"We're getting close!" He yelled.
He suddenly stopped, as the tunnel seemed to have come to a stop. He glanced around, then down, and nodded.
"Ah. Now it's a straight drop."
He fired a proton torpedo down the hole, illuminating it as it went, and killing any xenomorphs that got in the way. He turned towards the others and stated,
"The main chamber is definatly at the end of this shaft. Be prepared for anything."
With that, he jumped down the shaft, the others follwing suit. After about 5 minutes of falling, the ground appeared, everyone all did something similar, whether spreading their wings or igniting their jets to slow themselves to a stop. They did indeed reach the main chamber, which spanned an impressive 1000 feet across. The entire chamber was filled with drones, Pratorians, jumpers, Razorclaws, warriors, Facehugger eggs, winged xenomorphs, Chrysalis's and the xeno-type that was one Shive was fighting.
In the center was a massive cocoon, approx. 5 stories in height and surrounded completely by Praetorians.
PROTECT THE MOTHER. DESTROY THE INTRUDERS. A mass of voices boomed through everyone's head.
Then, the entire xenomorph hoard charged forward, intent on obeying their Queen's wish...

"D***, an ariel attack won't work this time, so, I guess we just do what we do best. It's time for a Xenomorph slaughter fest." Solranous stated, readying for a fight.
"I'll take the air borne Xenomorphs." Myrr growled, punctuating the sentence by taking to the air. "They better not underestimate me, ariel combat is where I excell at."
Solranous, meanwhile, charged to the front of the small group, letting his telekinetic power flow as he started blasting away Xenomorphs left and right with waves of mental energy. He took at some time to rip a few XenoChrysalises in two and use their carcasses as battering rams to shove back the Xenomorphs. It did little to stop the nigh unending hive of Xenomorphs.
Myrr wasn't having much luck either, the flying varients were dive bombing her one right after another from all directions, so she had trouble in dodging all of them. She managed to bring her pistol to bear on one of them and shot it out of the 'sky.' The half-dragon turned, partially predicting the next attack, and slayed another flyer. Speaking of slaying, she brought out 'her' sword and sliced through a few more incoming Xenomorphs before getting bashed from behind.
"Argh! These freaks are going down!" She roared, renewing her assault on the air borne fiends.

O'Malley decided to enter the fray by unleashing his shoulder cannons on an incoming cluster of Razorclaws, incinerating them. He whipped around and knocked a jumper (Arachnoid) out of the air with a few forearm laser shots, then ripped a Chrysalis in half with his lightsaber.
"Too-damn-many!" He yelled in-between cut strokes.
He unleashed his oral flamethrower on a few drones coming at him, then fired another round of blaster fire at an aerial xeno. He glanced over at the Praetorians, and noticed they didn't join they fray.
"They must have to protect the Queen at all times." He muttered, slicing a warrior in half diagonally.

Five more air borne Xenomorphs were downed by Myrr's relatively furious attacks. She was tiring fast though... There had to be a way to kill these things faster to get to the Mother Queen...
"Father, try to concentrate your fire breath into an orb!" Myrr called to the emerald dragon.
"She's from the future, and knows my future self very well, so I've got little choice but to try her suggestion." Solranous muttered and breathed his flames, converging them into an orb of fire. He realized what Myrr was getting after, and hurled the orb at a large concentration of Xenomorphs. Due to being compressed, the fire exploded outward not unlike a grenade, almost matching one of Shive's fireball spells in power. The Xenomorphs screeched in agony as they tried to put out the fires that licked at their exoskeletons.
"Thanks for the idea, Myrr!" Solranous called, making two more fireballs and throwing them at groups of Xenomorphs.
Good, now they'll be done with the ground based troops sooner. Myrr thought, but soon said, "If anybody can provide some assisstance for me against these ariel b*******, it would be much appreciated."

Then, it happened.
Every single Xenomorph suddenly stopped, and turned towards the cocoon as it started shaking violently. Then, a large blade pierced through the cocoon's surface, then dragged straight down, retreating back into the chrysalis. A massive hiss echoed through the area, and the xeno's all hissed back in homage as a pair of large black claws grabbed either side of the slice, pushing them apart.
"Aw s***." O'Malley muttered.
The Queen Mother had awakened.
O'Malley turned to Thanatos and said,
"I don't think that cocoon was two days old."
The Queen was massive, towering a full 40 feet tall, and about 80 feet long. It appeared much like a normal Queen, except it was slightly bulkier, and the back of it's crest curved upwards slightly. Every xenomorph in the area hissed again in unison to the awakened Mother they had been waiting for. It turned in their direction, 'surveying' her massive brood of children.
It then shrieked directly into the air for a good minute or so, and while it was happening, O'Malley started swearing repeatedly.
"Take her down! She's calling every xenomorph on the god-damn planet to this location!" He yelled, aiming his shoulder cannons at her.
He unleashed the blasts, which impacted the Mother directly, hearing her shriek in pain. Unfortunatly, when the smoke cleared, it appeared all the two attacks did to her was burn the outer edge of her carapace.
"S***." O'Malley muttered.
He turned to see the Mother's massive tail swat him 30 feet into the air, then get swatted back down by one of her upper arms.

Myrr yelped with surprise, but she still turned her pistol on the gigantic Xenomorph, only to realize that as she shot it, it became jammed.
"D*** IT!" She cursed, no longer having a quick ranged attack.
"It seems you need my help, little one." The aged voice came again, this time much clearer. And sure enough, a spectral form started to materialize in the hive. It, no, he may have only stood at half the Queen Mother's height and was nowhere close to its length, but the ghostly fire in his eyes confirmed that this spirit being was not backing down. The dragon let out a ghostly roar that reverberated off the walls of the Queen's chamber.
"Solranous... No... This is Solranous, but he's from... My time..." Myrr gasped, amazed that the 100 year older dragon was here.
"You may not have heard, but I promised I would rise to aid you in the darkest of hours, my daughter." Future Solranous explained as he tensed to fight. Instead of being confined to just her mind, everybody in the room could here the aged dragon's voice.
"That's my future self!?" Current Solranous exclaimed as he stared at the spectral dragon double his height. Future Solranous only gave his younger counterpart a quick glance before returning his sights on the Queen Mother, who wasn't sure what to make of the new arrival.
"You fiend, you may not meet your end by my hand, but you will meet your end before the night is over!" Future Solranous snarled, charging at the taller Xenomorph. Any unlucky drones to be in his line of movement were crushed underfoot, disspelling any doubt that this was real. Future Solranous roared his fury as he slammed his 'bulk' into the Queen Mother at full speed, causing the giant Xenomorph to stumble, which also gave time for one of Future Solranous' spells.
"Lightning Torrent!" Electricity arced across his from as he roared, sending five streams of lightning from his left hand at the Queen Mother. Each one electrocuted the beast with 60,000 volts, which made the Xenomorph screech in pain.
"Whoa..." Current Solranous gaped as Future Solranous continued to attack. Myrr, however, was cheering the spectral dragon on. That was soon cut off as the drones not stunned by Future Solranous' appearence (which was all of them) hissed and started to close in on the others. Snapped to reality, Current Solranous started hurling fireballs at the drones again, while Myrr was cutting ariel Xenos down to size.

The Queen flexed her claws, snarling.
It seems I'll have to take a different approach with you. A voice hissed into Future Solranous's mind.
It raised one of its larger claws and flexed it at Future Solranous, causing the apparation to distort and ripple as mental pain scourged his spirit. The Queen kept going until a bolt of white light struck her in the face, making her stop her onslaught. She turned to see O'Malley's left shoulder cannon smoking, followed by a blast of red energy from his right shoulder.
The blast struck her in the face, making her stumble backwards into the wall. She lashed out with her tail, splitting O'Malley in half vertically.
"damn. That'd hurt if I had nerves." O'Malley stated as his torso hit the ground.

(OOC: Forgot to mention, but Future Solranous can be struck with claws and acid. Mental attacks are just much more effective.)
Future Solranous clutched his head after being freed from the Queen Mother's mental attack, giving a quick 'thank you' to O'Malley. Taking precaution, he redoubled his mental strength, shielding his mind to such a point that the Queen could not reintiate her mental attack before going through what was, metaphorically speaking, a three mile thick titanium wall.
"You won't have the chance to repeat that, Fiend." Future Solranous hissed back at the Queen Mother. He did, however, take the time out to flawlessly repair O'Malley in a matter of seconds before starting to charge not one, but two spells.
"Nature's Rage! Inferno Sphere!" The first was, clearly, an earth-based spell which summoned massive spikes of sharpened rock from the ground, which in turn made piercings in the Queen Mother's armored hide. The second began as a small 'bead' fired in the same manner as Shive's fireball spell. This bead, however, detonated into an explosion that easily dwarfed Shive's own. The radius was enough to completely engulf the Queen Mother height wise and any drones close enough to the huge Xenomorph.
The Queen was obviously in agony from all the screeching she was doing. Future Solranous took no pleasure in the pain he was causing though, merly charging up for one last spell as he felt his grip on this plane start to slip again.
"Glacial Storm!" The Inferno Sphere had dissappated when seven giant arrow-shaped ice bergs formed in the air around Future Solranous, which the spectral dragon hurled forward at the beast. "Myrr, my daughter, I have done all I can for now. May grace be with you as you and your friends continue the fight. Farewell, and good luck." were his last words before the spectral dragon started to fade away, unknowing of what damage, if any, his final spell caused.

Daughter? The Mother thought, 'glancing' at Myrr.
She hissed in glee as her tail rose into the air, aimed at the half-dragon. Just as the blade sped forward, a bolt of lightning suddenly intercepted it, blowing a hole through the blade. The Queen hissed and glanced in the bolt's original direction, when she noticed her children were backing away from that direction.
What? What're you doing, my children? Attack the intruders! She hissed telepathically.
"I'm afraid... that ain't gonna happen." A familiar voice stated, though altered.
Everyone turned to see who appeared to be Shive, battered, brusied, and bloody, standing there with his index finger pointed at the Queen Mother. However, hs eyes had changed...
The whites were now all black, and his iris's were pure red instead of the original red-orange. He took a step towards the Queen, cracking his knuckles. Before the Mother knew it, she had been driven halfway into the wall by a flurry of punches, Shive suddenly landing before her. Shive cackled as a plaster-like fluid started to ooze out of his left eye and nostril, sheathing itself over that side of the face.
It soon hardened to reveal what apeared to be half of a mask, resembling some sort of dragon's skull. The mask's teeth were aligned with Shive's teeth, but were diamond-shaped. Along the eyebrow, jawline, and cheekbone were small, dark-red spikes that curved backwards at the top. Shive hissed in glee as he aimed his index finger at the Mother, fire beginning to gather towards the tip of his claw.

But something happened that an Oracle could not have forseen. An explosion rocked Shive's back as he was thrown forward, away from the Queen.
"You three, go to him, now. If he's alive, kill him. Right now, I think that he's more dangerous than a xenomorph. His energy surge was enormous," Seeing them glance at te xenomorphs he continued. "Don't worry, I've handled these things before."
Then he stared down the Queen Mother. I know your kind. He thought. Then all of his guns activated and he aimed at the Mother. Hell, I've made a bigger version of you. Now, are you going to back down, or do I put a hole through your skull?

((damn, I was hoping no one would post. I remembered that I brought Hollow Shive in way too early  )) The Queen merely hissed in reply, almost sounding like a laugh as the xeno's filtered back towards the Mother. Oh please, morsel. I doubt those pea-shooters could do much to me. How's about I just have my children rip you apart piece-by-piece? Or I could just eat you, whichever you prefer. She replied telepathically. Her elite guard, the Praetorians, all surrounded her, facing Thanatos. They all surged forward towards the cyborg, tails lashing and inner jaws stretching out, in the hopes to rip the conglomeration of meat and metal apart. Meanwhile, the possessed Shive slowly rose to his feet, snarling. "If those Praetorians don't kill him, I WILL." He hissed. He turned towards Solranous and Myrr, and a sick grin crossed his maw, somehow managing to expose almost all of his teeth. "But you two'll do." He hissed, unsheathing Ragnarok. He charged forward and elbowed Myrr in the head, sending her skidding to the side. He turned to Solranous and kicked his in the gut, then smashed his hands on the dragon's head, forcing him to his knees. |

((Sorry...I figured I needed to post since the first thing I saw when I logged in yesterday was you lamenting that I hadn't posted yet)) The praetorians all pounced at once, and for a moment Thanatos dissapeared under a mass of raging, surging exoskeletons. Then there was an electrical pop and most of the pile was blown away-as was the back half of the Queen Mother's head. The second rail that he fired slammed into Hollow Shive. He was carried forward with such force that he went through one wall, and was pinned to another by the rail. ((I'm assuming Hollow forms have some sort of magic/power that makes them hared to kill, thus you=/=dead  )) Thanatos knocked the remaining few Praetorians off of him and stood up. His eyes had been covered in some sort of shielding, and they were glowing. His whole body had portions that were glowing now that weren't before, and he had a low hum emanating from him. His whole body was also starting to show signs of heavy damage. Not enough to keep him out of the fight, or even slow him down much, but he was wearing down. The cannons on his shoulders whirred and changed, a dozen ports on the sides of each opening up. With burning ignition noises dozens of missiles were fired off, blowing away xenomorph after xenomorph. The attack killed or injured the majority of the xenomorphs in the room and allowed Thanatos to get over to Solranous and Myrr. "Can you move?" he asked, extending a hand to Myrr. "We need to act fast. The Queen's in a bad way meaning that half the hive is going to try to fix her and the other half has us marked. Worse, your other companion could recover. I toned down the rail so it wouldn't kill him, which may have been a mistake." Then Thanatos detected just the smallest hint of movement coming from where Shive was. He stood up fully and aimed both of his guns at him, and charged two more rails. |

The Queen hissed in fury as she watched the carcasses of her children hit the ground. She turned towards Thanatos, who, being distracted by Hollow Shive, lashed out with her tail.
((You can fix this, right?))
The blade impaled Thanatos directly, cutting a hole through the entire length of his torso, revealing naked machinery that kept the Draeger alive. She hissed and lashed her tail, throwing the warlord off and across the room. She started stomping towards him, tail raised, when an explosion enveloped her right leg, making her hiss in pain. She turned to see Shive grab her by the ankle and shift his weight, making her stumble forward.
"He's MINE!" He hissed.
He dove into the air, only to come crashing back down on her skull, cracking it's exterior and making acid dribble out from her noggin. She hissed in pain, only to see Shive had walked back over to Solranous and Myrr, grabbing his sword. He stopped, glaring at Thanatos, then fired his breath weapon at the downed Draeger, the acid nearly hitting his 'wound'.
"damn. Missed."

"Big...mistake..." Thanatos spluttered. The two cannons on his back adjusted to their targets and fired once more. The slug went clean through Hollow Shive, opening a watermelon-size hole in his chest. He coughed up blood just before he was hit by the shockwave that followed; the force threw him several hundred feet across the floor, creating a huge swath of blood, and throwing his weapon clear across the room. The second rail hit the Queen. It was meantt for her head, but the damaged targeting system couldn't keep up with her movement, so it hit the base of her neck and blew a car-sized hole in her back instead.
As the Queen reeled back and shrieked in agony, and Shive lay twitching and gurgling blood, Thanatos' eyes dimmed and his movements stopped.
