O'Malley and Great landed in the junkyard, and O'Malley told him to let go. He staggered over to a nearby pile, and a small laugh escaped.
"I can work with this."
He started to pull pieces out and use them to repair his eye, which was finished in about 5 minutes. He 'blinked' then nodded.
"Now to get to work..."
He started constructing something from the feet up, taking parts off of his body and adding them to it. Within an hour, he already had half of it constructed. Whatever it was, it was humanoid so far, and the steel was so dark a gray it was nearly black. He turned to Great and stated,
"Uh... this may take a while, so you might as well take a seat or something."

Great Mazinger sat down in a chair and propped his feet up on a pile of junk. "Yeah, normally this stuff takes a while. He puts his arms behind his head and looks up to the sky. He sits there for a minute.
"THIS IS BORING ALREADY!!" Great Mazinger yells. He gets up and starts looking through stuff. He notices a small spider like mecha. Its only the size of his hand and its head...is like a Zaku. Great Mazinger picks up the spider and looks at it. The spider flails everywhere and making small squeeks. Great Mazinger flicks it away with his finger and the spider is sent flying, making a squeal of pain as it flies through the air.
The Zaku like spider falls onto the ground in pieces. A few minutes later, it pieces itself back together and scurries off. "Man...this place looks awesome. Wonder what kind of stuff is here..." Great Mazinger says.

O'Malley replied without even looking away,
"Oh, there's more things in here than one might want to see..."
He attached an arm to the machine, then ripped off his tail and attached it to the growing machine. He mentally smirked as he stared at the machine, about 2/3 complete now.
"Hell, we found a Decepticon here once..."

"Decepticon?" Great Mazinger asks, "How lucky of you...Did it reactivate and attack you guys. Probably did...Decepticons are idiots like that...."
Great Mazinger begins looking through the pile of junk and finds another spider. He punchs it and it flies miles away. "What the hell is with these spider thinks...." He growls.

"Well... not this one. He was confused, didn't know where he was. I felt sorry for the guy and upgraded him, only to have the asshole attack me!" He grumbled.
He paused, seeing one of the little Zaku-things. He grabbed it by the sides and inspected it, muttering,
"Most interesting. It's made of a self-regenerating alloy..."
He crushed it between his finger-blades and tossed it behind him. He turned back to the machine, setting a gattling-gun-like weapon onto it's shoulder. The thing was now mostly a torso, missing it's left arm and head. It had 6 fin-like wings on it's back.
"This will do quite nicely... I can tell..." He muttered.

Great Mazinger looks at the new additions. "Ah, yeah. They do look very nice...." Great Mazinger rubs his chin. "Though...there feels like something's missing...."
Great Mazinger thinks for a minute. "Ah! Maybe, Chest cannon...you know when a bad guy gets really stupid and does hand to hand combat and you just fire a blast from your chest. That would work out fine...but hey, its your body."
He looks around. And then stops dead in his tracks. "Wait....you said...self regenerating alloy?"

"Yes. Self-regenerating alloy. Why?" He asked, still watching his creation as he added to it.
He attached a cylindrical weapon with four triangular blades arranged symmetrically at the end of it's barrel. A teal light shone from a hemisphere at the barrel's end, and O'Malley grabbed more metal, working on what was assumed to be the head.
He spotted the same Zaku-spider and mentally frowned. His maw opened and he torched it with his flamethrower, then crushed it under his foot.
"Annoying things."

"Sh**...you better finish up here....." Great Mazinger says, pulling out his Mazinger Blades, "Because we have some baaad company."
He looks around, trying to find more of the spider like Zakus. Dammit!! Could it be reawakened already? How? Why? DAMMIT!! He yells to himself. He sees a Spider-Zaku and kicks it fast. "Crap...if there is a colony of these things...we are soooo F***ed...."

"Colony? These things come in swarms?" O'Malley asked.
He glanced at one nearby, and filled it full of plasma from his remaining forearm blasters. He turned back to the machine, and checked it througholy, from top to bottom. All he needed was to put the head on...
He grabbed the thing's head, whcih ironically, looked just like his. He attached it to the body's neck, then popped it's head open, his doing the same. He turned to Mazinger and yelled,
"Okay, I need you to put my AI in this machine's head and connect all the cables! Then we'll be done!"

"Uh...alrighy." Great Mazinger runs over and starts removing O'Mally's AI. He removes it from the old body and starts putting it back into the new one. "Red goes to red.....green goes to green..." he mumbles. He notices something in the corner of his eye.
Zaku like mechs started rising out of the ground. Their eyes flashed red, and started heading towards Great Mazinger. "AH!! Uh...come on come on!!" Great Mazinger yells. He finishes adjusting the AI to the body and steps back. "O'Mally!! LETS GO!! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!"

The head's eye flashed into life, and muttered,
"All systems online. Inititating virus scan. No viruses detected."
He shook his head, then whipped around to the Zaku's, and his chest panels opened. A dozen small missiles flew out and bombarded the oncoming mecha, followed by a blast from his new flamethrower.
"Got it! Let's get the f*** outta here!"
The rockets in his fin-wings flared into life, and the two machines burst into the air as O'Malley unloaded on the bots below with everything he had.
"What are those?!" He screamed to Great.

"The Devil Army." the Mazinger yells back. "I've got to finish these guys off...." He raises an arm into the air. A huge bolt of lightening strikes Great Mazinger. "GRAAAAAAH!!!" He swings his arm downwards and shouts "THUUNNDER BREEEEAAAK!!!" A huge blast of lightening is surged at the small group of Zaku like robots. They were vaporized in seconds.
Great Mazinger turns to O'Mally. "They are the Devil Army. They used to be humans...machines...or something else controlled by a dark being. But...the problem is....that thing is dead. But this is a different form of the army. They are seem stronger and fast than before. I don't know man...I just feel like a huge battle is gonna start soon."
Down on the ground, the parts of the Zaku like mechs twitched and then began to regenerate. They all stood up and looked in the direction of the two robots flying. A bigger and colored red Zaku looks at them also. "Sir, should we send flying units after them?" one of the Zakus asks.
"No....it would be a waste....but send a spy unit after them." the red one growls. A smaller Zaku mech with built in wings takes off into the sky and activates a cloaking device. It follows close behind, the two warrior robots not even suspecting it.

O'malley abruptly stopped, then slammed his fist into the invisible Zaku's face. He grabbed it and extended his lightsaber, slicing it straight down the evil bot's body and throwing the halves to the sides. He tapped his claw on the side of his head, laughing,
"I've got an eye that can see in nigh any type of vision. Cloaking won't work on me."
He fired off a bolt of energy from his Arc Blaster, frying a few more troops as Great and O'Malley flew off into the sky.

The spy Zaku unit falls to Earth and lands with a "CRUNCH". The red Zaku unit glares at the two machine warriors. "Pull back now..." he mutters. The Zaku units sink underground without site. The red Zaku disappears in a cloud of smoke.
Great Mazinger looks suprised. "They're....retreating....." He mutters, "Why though..." He looks back at O'Mally. "I think we should get back to the others. Before some other crap happens again." He fires his thrusters and flies off, O'Mally right beside him.
